We took the landscape/home tour and loved it. Our guide was so knowledgeable & friendly that all our questions about the area & Georgia Okeefe were answered. He even held up copies of her paintings next to the landscape where she painted them so we could take pictures of them together. Really neat! Had a 6 year old & 8... More

I have stayed here 6 times over many years and each time it's harder to drive away. The peaceful, vast landscape is meditative and serene, yet offers great opportunities for hiking, horsebackriding or an afternoon of painting or reading a book from the wonderful library. You can schedule a massage, or a tour of Georgia O'keefe's house or just RELAX... More

Remember the movie Silverado? Well, if you do, you will notice the movie shows much of the Ghost Ranch at its beautiful best. What views, especially at sunset. Staff is friendly and helpful. The buffet style food at the cafeteria is wholesome and filling. Beware though, that dorm accommodations are basic and rustic and the cafeteria can be a bit... More

Our stay at Ghost Ranch was part of an anniversary/business reunion involving over fifty people over a week. This is not luxury accommodations, but the rooms are exactly what you might expect at a dude ranch (though Ghost Ranch is no longer a dude ranch). We actually stayed in the campground so I can't respond to how comfortable the rooms... More

I love this place. Didn't really eat any meals here except a box lunch and it was great after a strenuous hike. The gift store is really charming with some really nice finds. I bought a cool hat, a colorful backpack and some wonderful body butter. The tours are really great and the guides are awesome - don't forget to... More

We made a day trip to Ghost Ranch because we had wanted to see where Georgia O'Keefe got her inspiration. The high desert isn't for everyone, but it was for us just like that of O'Keefe. The Methodist Church owns the property, but visitors are welcome to hike, visit the museums and even get something to eat. It was well... More

This place is absolutely the best. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. They sent me information packets along with a hand written note; you just don't see this kind of hospitality anymore. We stayed up in cabin called Tumble that had a private bath. The views were amazing! Short walk down the canyon to the dinning hall for breakfast. The... More

We arrived before dawn and took pictures as the sun came up. We then had a wonderful breakfast for $4 before taking the Chimney Rocks hike. There are two other hikes and a slew of other things to do including trail rides, tours of the main sites of Georgia O'Keefe's paintings, and tours of the main sites where movies were... More

We stayed 6 nights at Ghost Ranch. It was beautiful. The food was ok, our room was small and the bed hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom isjubig enough for the stool and a shower. This little room had a double and a single bed , but almost no room for storage. It had no extra room.hard. The bathroom was just... More

I think your perception of Ghost Ranch as a place to stay depends - a great deal - on what you are looking for in your stay and the type of accommodations you have while there. If you are not comfortable being disconnected from the outside world and find life without TV or reliable wi-fi and cell service unbearable, then... More
