We stumbled across this one on an epic round the island trip. We were rather keen for breakfast having left Nadi at 6am! We arrived at this resort at around 10 - 10.30am and were welcomed in for a late breakast. The views are reminiscent of Port Havanah in Vanuatu, just beautiful. This resort is under extension with extensive plans...

After reading the not so positive reviews, we asked to view the room before checking in. We were told it was their hotel policy not to show the room prior to checking in. We decided to leave and not stay there. The exterior is not exactly inviting. There is a lot of environmental damage to mangroves around. I did wonder...

The OM, dark Indian lady, who thought the sun was shining from her rear, was telling the staff off in front of Guests.. She must go to school first before dealing with those beautiful staff. TV didn't work. $195.00 per room. $250.00 dinner bill. Food was great though. Don't recommend - with the bossy attitude of middle management.

Located on the north of the island, Golden point was a mid range 'resort'. Staying in the 12 dorm possibly didn't add to the experience, the beds did have some dirt on them but were overall large and fairly comfy. The bathroom facilities were good with separate male and female showers of decent quality. The pool was nice, saltwater from...

I stayed here recently, while doing voluntary work in the area. It was here, or a tent. Infrequent electric and water in rooms. Bedrooms in main building smell strongly of sewage. Dubious cleaning of rooms. The whole resort has an unfinished feel.My bathroom doors won't open. The owners have great plans to develop the site; they ought to complete what...

This is the worst place i have ( tried ) to sleep , since i slept in the snow on the Russian border in minus 30 degrees in the army 1972 . Coming from Nadi via Sigatoka - i had some problems finding a place to stay . After having 2 light meals and a beer i agreed to a...

If you are circumnavigating the island via the north, Golden Point Resort is about the only place on the ocean worth stopping ate, either for a meal, a long rest or an overnight. The rates are reasonable, and the beds comfortable. Further west there are more luxurious resorts at RakiRaki, but you have to get off the main road for...
