I read the reviews on TripAdvisor before I stayed at the Anchorage Resort. There didn't seem to be a middle ground. People either hated it or loved it. I have since read some more reviews and my opinion is the same. I have stayed at the Anchorage twice now and here is what I think:- If you are heading to...

dirty rooms and shower. Towels and bedsheets are very dirty and yellowish. You can tell the bedsheets havenot been changed and towels are stained. They sure need housekeeping improvements to keep up. Be careful when giving your clothes for laundering. Take pictures of all your clothes before giving it for washing as some brand and fancy clothing will be missing...

We had a weeks holiday with our grandchildren. Kids were covered in bites from bed bugs. Rooms were dirty and under prepared, we had to wash the floor. Food was at best average and usually cold. Amenities were run down where provided but generally non existent. Management were not interested in our complaints and ignored us.

Stayed as a group in April. Location was great - trip out to the islands was easy (from the port at Anchorage). Room was spacious, bed was very hard - tidy. Breakfast was very disappointing - only a few cereals and toast to choose from, limited fruit and that was it. The resort is very tired and desperately needs some...

We stayed here for three nights and had mixed feelings! The resort is tired and a bit rundown with fixtures and fittings in our room needing replacing - We stayed in a beach front spa unit near the pool and restaurant. We found it to be relatively clean but our towels were shabby and we did not have the option...

Dirty, in need of repair. The food was average. The birds were leaving their messages on every table. The pool area needs attention. Decided not to stay. Will not recommend this resort. All has been said from other reviews.

Hotel is old, tired and in the urgent need of repairs and maintenance. Our room 310 was spacy but not clean and bathroom looked very sad. Balcony also not clean. The roof has several leaks and were not repaired during our stay despite being reported twice to staff. Tv is very old and only had one channel working. Had to...

I'll only talk about the positives, read other reviews, the negatives have already been explained. Beautiful, beautiful staff. All of them. Would I go back??? Think the security of Denarau is calling, maybe I would go back...Would I recommend to relatives or friends, no.
