Was so impressed with this resort. The nannies for the kids were a real winner for me. No set times you had to rush around to kids club for. Food was fabulous and service great! Rooms were nice. I personally would have loved air con but I know that is not what this resort is

Where do I start about JMC….. When you are there you know it is amazing but you don’t realise just how amazing it is until you go somewhere else. We went for the kids to become even bigger marine warriors and to elope. The kids were permanently looked after and so so happy they

Bula Vinaka Lisaandg, Thank you so much for taking the time to post a wonderful review of your recent experience at Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort. We are pleased that we have met all your expectations of your elopement family week. It is wonderful to hear that the girls took full advantage of being fully entertained by the Bula Club and your Bure was comfortable for the whole family. We are also glad to hear you indulged yourselves with Massages, enjoyed the Food and took full advantage of the Private Island Picnic and wonderful snorkeling right off the jetty. It is extremely humbling that you chosen us as your Fijian Wedding Destination and to received feedback that you were well cared for by extremely caring Kitty is wonderful. I will definitely pass on your comment to her and the rest of hardworking Team who made your wedding day & entire stay very special. I take this opportunity to thank you so very much for sharing your wedding photos with us and your wonderful comments regarding your entire stay. We look forward to welcoming you back to Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort. Until we meet again (Sota Tale), Lolomas,

the beach is broken coral and not much sand. ppl got here to dive and to do that you go out in a boat. they have a private island about 500 m away that was good but again you cant really swim like in Tahiti or Hawaii. warning the hotel is VERY 'eco' and not 5 star more like 4 star ok we were very disappointed but it does have its charms

Do the rooms have a curtain to divide up the room and the living area for kids sleeping?
The Gardenview and Oceanfront bures are open plan however we can put in a free standing screen which can provide separation from the King bed. Christine JMC Resort

Hi - what is weather like in mid April?
Fiji has a warm tropical climate perfect for beachside holidays and is a key reason Fiji has a reputation as one of the worlds most sought after holiday destinations. The best months for holidaying in regards to Fiji weather is late March through to early December. Maximum temperatures in Fiji rarely move out of the 31C to 26C range all year round. A cooling trade wind blows from the east south-east for most of the year. It usually drops to a whisper in the evening and picks up again by mid-morning. Fiji does have a wet season. The wet season is normally from November to April and results from the southerly movements of the South Pacific Convergence Zone. The wet season is characterised by heavy, brief local showers and contributes most of Fiji's annual rainfall. Annual rainfall on the main islands is between 2000mm and 3000mm on the coast and low lying areas, and up to 6000mm in the mountains. Typically the smaller islands in Fiji receive less rainfall than the main Island with various amounts according to their location and size, ranging from 1500mm to 3500mm. Cyclones do occur in Fiji and are normally confined to wet season.

We have had marathon runners as guests and they have jogged along the very quiet road and up some steep tracks behind the resort as well as the beach as mentioned. Just ask the activities staff.
