Ivy Cyrene Island Aqua Park Resort is commended for its cleanliness and spacious rooms that boast stunning sea views, according to numerous travelers. While the resort's staff receives accolades for their friendly and professional service, some guests have noted unexpected additional charges. The variety of amenities and entertainment options available are popular among visitors, though the food and spa services have received mixed reviews. Despite the resort's lively atmosphere and greenery, the value for money has been called into question by many, particularly regarding food quality and all-inclusive offerings.

We're still resting at this hotel now. In Egypt for the first time, glad that familiarization with the country became so friendly and enjoyable. Let me tell you in order. The room we got is spacious, though without a balcony, but considering that we are three adults and two children(7 years and part two), it is even for the best)) The room is in good condition, cozy, appliances are serviceable, the fridge freezes like a beast😁, the air conditioning is serviceable, the air conditioning on the windows of the curtains is blackout 👍. Cleaning the room daily, boy Mustafa cleans cleans, constantly rejoices with new animals made of towels. The food is delicious, somewhat monotonous, but each of us has found our own menu to taste. The attitude of the staff is very pleasing, you can see that there is a cohesive team👍The swimming pools are staffed by attentive staff who look after the safety of the holidaymakers, especially children👍👍On the grounds of the hotels there are always people who help to solve the issues of organising the leisure of the arriving tourists will tell you where to get beach towels, what intervals the buses run to the beach, etc. On the beach there are always free sunbeds, on the pontoons are staff who look after the safety, after sunset the beach is closed, there is security, which is pleasing. Many thanks to the animators, there are always yoga, aqua aerobics classes on the beach and in the pool area. Separately I want to single out the child animator Su (I apologize if I misname the name in Russian) The girl moves well, quickly finds common ground with the children, is always active and friendly. The indicator is that the seven-year-old granddaughter starts negotiations for an evening children's animation in the morning)) The only thing that marred our holiday was a misunderstanding with the reception manager responsible for booking guests into a la carte restaurants (a young man of average height, wearing glasses). I went to record three times, finally we were recorded, with the time of visit as "day after tomorrow at 7 p.m." What a surprise we were when we arrived at the scheduled time, the restaurant told us we were not on the record. At the reception, the same young man who recorded us began by advising me to speak more calmly (I, and all of us, were upset, of course, but I didn't shout, didn't gesture) It turned out that we were recorded a day later, maybe it was a language barrier, and to avoid misunderstandings it was better to use specific numbers rather than the concepts of "tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, etc.) or to give some receipts confirming the date. Anyway, this misunderstanding ruined our mood for just one evening, otherwise we really like the holiday, let's recommend the hotel to friends and acquaintances

The resort has all the requirements to ensure a relaxing holiday. There are several swimming pools and the sea can be reached on foot, although there is a shuttle service. As for the food, in many cases the dishes were very spicy, but you could still fall back on some sufficiently palatable dishes. The staff was always helpful, kind and ready to meet all the requests of guests. In particular, Wael Ismael carried out his work in a careful and scrupulous manner.

The Ivy Cyrene Island Hotel is a great place to relax! The location on the island creates a sense of privacy and peace, with the main attractions easily accessible. The room was spacious and cozy, with beautiful sea views. The staff is polite and attentive, always available to assist with any queries.

The hotel's infrastructure includes several restaurants with varied cuisine, swimming pools and a spa. I particularly liked the beach - clean, with soft sand and comfortable sun loungers. The water in the sea is clear and warm, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

The only thing we would like to improve is the variety of evening entertainment. Otherwise, Ivy Cyrene Island is a great choice for relaxing outdoor activities. I recommend it!

A good check in with Mohammed Nabil who was our "go to" through out the week , he was most helpful .As late check in we had cold cuts and asked for a gin and tonic on tasting it was like paint stripper ... Beware no named spirits here Gordon was not present !! If i had known i would have purchased at duty free .Room spacious , pillows were smelly (dirty heads) phoned reception he came with some extra 's still bad so we used our winter puffa coats inside our own pillow cases which we always take with us thank god !! They leave a large bottle of water in your room for teeth cleaning and making a morning cuppa , we drink lots of water and asked at reception if we could have more .We were told we had to ring housekeeping to get more so obviously a tip was needed and sure enough a couple of pounds secured 5 bottles every other day ! We always take anti bac wipes with us and clean the room before unpacking .The restaurant food was passable we managed to pick out something to eat eg .Chicken and mash potatoes and veg , pasta .The restaurant staff were always very helpful, too helpful at times !! The annoying man who kept saying LovelyJubbly ..... he obviously thinks it was funny although 30 years or more old .Animation team .... language barrier they all seemed to speak Russian but very little English .All very young ,music around the pool needed to be a few decibels lower , your on holiday not at a rave !! The gentlemen promoting the spa /massage/ hairdressers very annoying too coming around the pool every 20 minutes ! We were about 600m from the adult pool and the music was so loud until 11pm how parents got their children to sleep i don't know .Whilst there ,they were renovating the pathways with a grey paint that was a very strong smell got into your chest .We went to Soho square and Naama bay by taxi use the In drive app cheaper than hotel taxi .Best part of holiday was having the sunshine 24 degrees and wifi and the shuttle bus down to the beach .This hotel is definitely not a 4 star i would say 2-3 stars , also quite a few steps no lifts so difficult for wheel chairs and pushchairs .We took our own plastic drinking beakers and straws for around the pool as they don't wash the glasses , they swill them out with water , we filled our own water bottles to drink from through out the holiday .We did have a couple of coca colas but they have no sugar free options ts all normal drinks as was the sprite .Always ask for a straw so your lips don't touch the glass. This hotel is definitely catered for the Russians and Eastern Europeans definitely wont be returning ....... Tip ..... take plenty of pound coins as they all expect tips if you don't offer they ask !!

Faulty towers of Egypt, it’s so bad, somehow we found the funny side and laughed at how ridiculous it was.

I would class this a 2 star hotel at best, how they class this as a 4 star is a joke.

All inclusive? They don’t know the meaning of the word!.. Apart from the smallest plastic glasses of beer, they want an extra euro or dollar for everything bigger. Including coffee, but you can have better coffee in the restaurant. Even a cola for the kids apart from when in the restaurant they wanted extra for. Just a rip off!

The tiles everywhere have been painted with a grey with red stripes paint, the sort of paint you would see of a vehicle repair garage floor.. it looked out of place and cheap and tacky.

Luckily the beach was ok, the sea was warmer than the pools at the hotel which were freezing..

P
Rooms: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | Location: 1/5

Rooms
Tired and old room, overlooked the pool and beach and In need of a deep clean and mop (it didn’t look like they used one, definitely no signs…

Walkability
Even though we could see the beach from our room, it’s a bit of an optical illusion ( with a tall bank of sand) as the beach is a 5 minute walk away.

Food and drinks
Awful, they seem to cater for the numerous Russian and Eastern European travellers, but not much for the British tastes and less so for kids… where they just provide two choices small sausages and spaghetti… I had to ask a few times for them to cook some fries. They also have beef burgers a couple the days, but it didn’t look like beef (not sure what is was). Similar situation when they were cooking bbq foods outside, what looked like beef, didn’t taste like it… The barman at the pool bar, was (rinsing off) rather than washing the same larger plastic glasses everyone was drinking from in cold water! Disgusting, I notice this and asked for a smaller plastic glasses as it was clean. The barman later apologised for this and said he knows it isn’t right, but that’s the system he’s told to use. Us and another British family kept going out for food using taxis to McDonald’s and KFC, best meal was at the Hard Rock Cafe.. my heart sank to know we had to eat back at the hotel the next day… Never again!

We booked at this Resort by chance, we left without much expectation instead we had a great time.
The room, which was assigned to us had sea and pool views, (in the evening a nice wind rose that allowed us not to use the air conditioning), the same was very spacious with a beautiful terrace, the only flaw in the shower, made in the tub.
The property has many swimming pools, some with slides recreating a very useful water park if you have children.
The restaurant service consists of several restaurants, some for Reservation. with table service, at dinner always active an Italian restaurant, (little Italian with set menu, every day same menu), the food was eatable.
The sea, not far on foot, but inside the structure, has a beautiful beach equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers,.the bar practically always open.
The staff always kind in addition to improving the situation there was Sara, a hotel manager who deals with public relations,. especially deals with pampering and making Italian customers feel comfortable.
The stay was nice but thanks to this wonderful person has become wonderful,. ha.permesso to meet other Italian guests also creating friendships that will surely remain as well as solve many small situations that without language we would never have overcome.
The animation both on the beach during the day and in the usual evening show is very varied and not the usual animation, varies from shows with fire, flying man in the pool, foam parts and many others, really a good pastime.
Usually I don't like to go back to the same place 2 times but this time I think I'll come back, the price for the service offered is great!
P.s. for my birthday they even made me find table set up and cake with a happy birthday song 🎉
Highly recommended!

We vacationed together from April 11 to April 19.

I'll start with the cons:
1) - Initially we were placed in a room that was very far from the sea, reception, etc. The room itself was terrible, the air conditioning didn't work, there was rust in the bathroom, the toilet was screwed on with 1 bolt out of 2. We immediately went to the reception and asked to change the room (by the way, we were not the only ones who were placed in this building and who paid $20 for the move). We were moved to a room with a sea view, but the air conditioning did not work and we were again moved to the next building, where everything was fine. In each of the three rooms the water flows in such a stream that in the country a 3/4-inch hose flows better.

2) - Greedy Egyptians are everywhere. At the first check-in, they gave $5 to take the luggage, when they paid $20 for the move, he asked for an additional fee for transporting the luggage (we sent him, which I advise you to do). At the reception, 2 people carry luggage in 2/2 shifts, it seems, one of them did not demand it during the 3rd move, the other is very arrogant. Be prepared for beggars on every excursion. There were 12 people on the motorcycle safari (during the entire excursion) who asked for money for additional services. A bag of chips for $5, one photo for $15, a can of 0.33 soda for $3, and the like.

3) - Mediocre animation. Perhaps it's normal for 4K, but everything is pretty boring, there is no animation as such. Playing the piano, fire show, all this lasts 15 minutes in the evening and costs. Super!

Now to the pros, and here for the most part the pros of Egypt tourism rather than this hotel:

1) + Red Sea. Beautiful fish and corals. The yacht excursion to the white island was great, there were many places to snorkel, see the beauty of the Red Sea, delicious food - it all left a good impression

2) + The beach at the hotel is good, there is a smooth entry into the sea, there is a pantone for diving at depth, there are fish, corals too (on the hotel beach I mean)

3) + The food at the hotel is not bad, the choice is not exactly huge, but it was enough for us. Every day different dishes (not all, but a couple of positions change, for example, “MEXICAN CUISINE”)

I didn’t describe the pools and slides, we’ve been there a couple of times, the water is cold, the slides are fun to ride a couple of times.
What can be concluded:
It’s possible to go to Egypt once for excursions, but to go there for cool service, I’m only thinking about paying the overprice for 5k or going to Turkey. Always haggle and send beggars (really, they’ve screwed you up, just make the price tag a little higher and give people a complex of services). Otherwise, it’s not very pleasant to pay for the tour, and then give another 20-30k on top for something unknown.

Have a nice holiday everyone!

This was our first trip to Sharm el Sheikh and it has been our best trip so far.
The Ivy Cyrene Island resort had everything for us as a family.
From the Management team, waiters, chefs, animation team, housekeeping, gardeners we were made to feel very welcome always with a smile on their faces and happy to make your holiday the best experience, and nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was perfect with a pool/sea view the gardens and everywhere in and around the hotel are kept spotless.
The beach area was great our first time at snorkeling and some beautiful fish seen in the coral.
Food was varied and tasty and plentiful always hot... they even surprised me with a beautiful birthday cake as it was my birthday while we were here which was a really lovely touch
..a great variety of drinks and good entertainment on throughout the day at the beach or in the evening at the sister hotel Ivy Cyrene Sharm..
Thank you to all the team at both hotels we will return again in November

An inexpensive confident foursome with a large area of well-kept, good variety of food, a varied animation program with a guest of professional dancers and wake-up boarders located in the Red Sea Blue Lagoon. Good internet in the grounds shops and on the beach and near receptions. And next to the grounds, a variety of fruits. You can have coffee with delicious hamburgs who miss you. And any produce at the local deli.
