Where to start...this small tired hotel is probably 3 star at best. But the staff are amazing, welcoming and friendly. This is our first time going Sharm el Sheihk and staying at Falcon Hills Hotel. The local area is a concrete jungle, amass empty hotels and very few shops. Devoid of bars and restaurants. However there is a McDonalds a taxi ride away and an Italian a few minutes walk away. Hotel food; Food not as advertised, however we enjoyed it. Every meal was similar Egyptian cuisine. No English food, not even a chip; crepes and omlettes where nice. If your kids live on processed/junk food, they will struggle to eat here. Room; We had two joined rooms, great for our family. Rooms basic but comfy. Hotel in desperate need of modernisation and maintenance, our fridge and tv remote broken and aircon very noisy. Only BBC world news channel on TV and one channel showing English movies with arabic subtitles on. Not that we watch TV on holiday but good when confined to bedroom having been subject to Pharoh's Revenge!! Wifi; Not as advertised and almost non existent. On occasions you can just about connect to hotel wifi using a code and password printed on some scrap paper kept in a tin at the reception. Every code unique and connection lasts for minutes before disconnecting, and only accessible near reception area. Unable to access emails or send picture messages. WhatsApp, Messenger and Messages only. Send and receive took best part of the day at times. Pool; Choice of two pools. Both really nice and clean. Not enough sunbeds for amount of guests. At times the extra loud Egytian music was unbearable. Other times no music at all, which was welcoming. Animation team did not do any activites beyond getting guests to do an occasional party dance in the water and a quiz at night. Guests; No other British here during our stay. Mostly Egyptian. Some Russian, Dutch and Italian. Night time entertainment: pretty much non existant. One belly dancer and one whirling dervish dancer did a quick turn. Nothing else. There were not enough drinking glasses. Our drinks were served in small plastic party cups. Totally unacceptable when you drink beer and two cups doesn't even equal half a pint. We complained and the hotel produced a number of small plastic glasses. All staff lovely, very friendly and helpful. Would we come to Falcon Hills again? Probably not. Would we travel in July to Egypt, possibly not due to the temp (however, on this occasion we travelled late July for a reason). Tips; Holiday info, tickets, travel visas, passport, airport transfer vouchers etc. Photocopy or print all these off and have spare copies to take with you. You may need these to hand in at other places other than the airport such as on trips to Cairo etc. Take a photo of all documents and keep on your phone. You wont have wifi so cannot access these through email. Airport; dont allow porters to grab your cases. You may only travel 100 metres or less to your tranfer bus and they will expect big tip for dragging your case for you Everywhere else. Hard sell - everywhere. Learn to say 'NO'!! Have plenty of small Egyptian money for tips. Tip the cleaner at the start of tour hols and he will look after you all week. If you book trips through the booking agency onsite, check what the trip entails. We booked 3 trips and each one different from what we were sold. Often included a trip to a papyrus or perfume factory which we did not want. Do go to the Blue hole for snorkling. Or grab a cheap taxi to the local reef beach. Also great for snorkling. Cairo trip to see the Pyramids was amazing. The above is only my take on this hotel and what I consider an honest review. Everyone's idea of a holiday and standards are different. We had a fantastic time here and made lots of happy memories.

Just returned from a week's stay with my daughter at Falcon Hills staying all inclusive. A warm welcome at 9pm, they had put us a meal away which I considered really thoughtful and off to a good start. The hotel itself is basic but has two clean pools, one big, lively pool with loud music and a quieter small pool which just happened to be outside our ground floor room. The rooms are very basic but clean, full size fridge, very handy, air con worked well, shower only which sprayed out everywhere as its all quite dated. The beds were hard as rocks, got used to it in the end but my hips..wow. It was lovely to have the pool outside the room, plenty of loungers. Had a few incidents of people swimming late at night which disturbed my sleep but security soon came and told them to clear off. Get a room by the quiet pool, you won't get any sleep at the big pool and all the rooms surround the pools. Now the food in the hotel was extremely disappointing, it did not cater for English at all despite their best efforts, I lived on rice the whole week and needless to say I don't want to see rice for a while now I'm home. I would not recommend all inclusive at this hotel as you will be disappointed. Drinks were always flat, watered down, even the wine tasted watered down, it just didn't seem right. I didn't make the most of the alcohol on all inclusive at all. The best thing by far was the attitude of the hard working staff and animation team, I don't think the managers appreciate them at all. Sasha was fantastic, friendly, helped with our luggage, could not fault him. The staff in the dining room were all so lovely and friendly. Whatever they pay Sasha they need to double it. Overall, we enjoyed our week, I would not have been able to stomach another week due to the food but everything else was acceptable for the price we paid.

The hotel staff were so friendly and caring, the animation team were amazing, especially sasha(ahmed). the cleanliness around the hotel was outstanding and it is a beautiful hotel. The food was nice but was almost always the same every meal time however there was plenty to go around. The entertainment in the evening was great and the swimming pools were kept very clean. Overall, would love to come again, thank you.

We have just arrived back from Falcon Hills, we stayed here for 10 days - All Inclusive. Firstly the hotel is really out of the way, there is a supermarket next door and the Mango Centre is a 15 minute walk away. Nabq Bay is 25 minutes in a taxi and you can get there for 150-200 Egyptian Pounds. The airport is 15 minutes away by taxi. The Reception area very Egyptian looking is small and very tired. It has 2 small rooms/shops one that sells perfume/oils and the other that sells Egytian clothing and few bits. Both the guys who sell in these shops appear to sleep in there at night on the sofas. There is a patio area outside which you can sit and eat at. The first swimming has music playing loudly from 2 large speakers from 10am until around 12pm and then again 3ish-5pm. If you prefer peace and quiet the second swimming pool is quieter it has no music. Sadly during our stay somebody pooed in the pool twice!! so it was out of action for a few hours those days - staff said they needed to clean it. Although we saw them scoop the poop out, the pool wasn't emptied so I'm not sure how that fairs with public hygiene and health and safety? The lifeguards all had whistles which they were definitely finding brightened up there day, they constantly whistled at bathers for the slightest of things! .. dipping your feet in the pool, wearing a tshirt in the pool, walking near the pool with flip flops on... very petty!! Although they did allow people to play volleyball in the pool with hard leather footballs whilst people sunbathing lay anxiously waiting to be hit by it! EVERYBODY had to be out of the pools by 5pm!!!! even though the sun didn't go down until around 7.00pm?! After they had cleared the pool of paying guests the pool boys/lifeguards would all get in every day for 30 minutes... not sure how that's fair!? The rooms were generally OK and cleaned every day, FATTI our housekeeper was very nice, he did a good job of replacing towels and replenishing toilet rolls, he did us some towel art everyday. The gardens were well kept, you could always see a gardener around watering the plants. The little bridge that leads to the 2nd pool was very tired, bordering on a little unsafe for those who maybe not so good on their feet! I believe this hotel should NOT offer All Inclusive as they have not got a clue!! The All Inclusive bar consisted of the local bottled beer which was kept in a fridge however once opened was then left on the side. Spirits: local Vodka, Whisky, Ouzo and Brandy that was it! .. soft drinks Coke, Fanta and Sprite ... all the soft drinks were left out on the side so were constantly warm and unless fresh opened - flat! If you wanted a can of refrigerated Sprite, Fanta or Coke you could BUY them for 25 Egptian Pounds (approx £1.10).. not that you should have to purchase it when you have paid for ALL Inclusive!! You could get bottled water which alternated between cold and room temperature depending on whether they had restocked the fridge. In an evening they quite often 'ran out' of spirits, although the All Inclusive stipulates it serves drinks til 12am, if they'd ran out - that was it no more!! Until the next day when low and behold they'd have replenished! I think they had a limit of how many bottles they were allowed to use per day! and when it was gone it was gone!! The bar staff I found were all very miserable and were there to serve drinks and that's it! ATTIA who I assume was like the bar manager was helpful if he could be. THE FOOD!! absolutely shocking!! I have to say it was without doubt the worst hotel food I have ever seen and ever eaten. Breakfast: Tea, Coffee, 3 kind of juices - (watery/watered down) that were suppose to reassemble Orange, Pineapple and mixed fruit/berry! No croissants, no toast, no fruit or any English breakfast food. Stew, mash potato, only Egyptian food. Oh.. you could have omelette - woo! Needless to say I ended up buying a box of cereal and fresh milk and having breakfast in my room. Lunch and Dinner were pretty much the same every day a very small selection of : Salad, soup, bread rolls, stew, fish, boiled burgers, chicken drumsticks/thighs, potato wedges, rice  and noodles/pasta. There were a selection of 4/5 cakes for dessert and Orange quarters at lunchtimes. If you wanted chips you had to pay 50 Egyptian pounds for them. If you are English and travelling with children you will NOT get ANY kind of 'typical' children's food, so be prepared for your children to starve!! Unless you are happy to eat 'crap' then you will starve too! The bar manager did make me chips without charge on 3 occasions and 2 omelettes as I was completely drained from not eating anything all day. On two occasions I went to the supermarket and BOUGHT cans of Tuna and mixed them into pasta!! I am not exaggerating the food choice, quality and variety is completely unacceptable. At the beginning of our stay for the first 4 or 5 days it was jam packed with Egyptians, they seemed to arrive in bus loads, they would all swarm around outside the restaurant door before meal times began and then pile into the restaurant and literally pile there plates up with food and most not just one plate! Sheer greed and wastefulness! Dinner was served 7pm-9pm but quite often if you came down past 8.15pm there would be barely any food left. It's like everything in the hotel is rationed and when it's gone it's gone! The best member of staff in the hotel was the fat security guard Mohamed (can't remember his name exactly) but he was the one member of staff that was consistently friendly, helpful and always pleasant everytime you saw him! The best thing about the hotel the Late checkout, we were able to keep our rooms on at a cost of 300 Eygptian pounds (£13) well worth it when you have an evening flight. Sadly I would not recommend this hotel, even if it cost you another £150 more I'd honestly urge you to book elsewhere, this hotel is 2* at best. In my opinion if they want English tourism they really need to put some money into this hotel by bringing upto to scratch because currently its like its stuck in old Egyptian times! They need to look at what an All Inclusive hotel should offer to realise they are seriously lacking. You maybe looking for a cheap holiday to Egypt and think this hotel will do as its cheap and cheerful, MY ADVICE: look elsewhere - I couldn't wait to get home!!

We have been here twice and unfortunately it has gone down hill since covid. 1) small pool boy was a shocker in that he asked for € or $ every half hour even though he did nothing at all to help. He did not clean the pool area, tables or beds before guests came down they had to do it themselves. Half way through first week he got a new toy a whistle and blew it at everything but safety in the pool. Girls walking by, mates who were working in hotel, whenever he was board. Even when people were sleeping he would walk past and blow it. My wife a an 8 year old girl we’re looking at a gecko and taking images and when it ran off he ran after it and stamped on it killing it. The 8 year old was in tears. He would also come to the edge of the pool and stare at them making them feel uncomfortable. Horrible boy Food has gone way down hill and this is because it is catering for the Egyptians who go there on holiday on government vouchers. They are horrendous in that they arrive on mass and take everything food wise and leave nothing. They don’t use the utensils provided for getting the food just grab it with their hands. If it’s not what they want they put it back. Yesterday breakfast started at 0700 and they had took all the bread by 0745 to make sandwiches for lunch. They are like locus and even the staff every meal apologised for their countryman’s behaviour. Certain areas which are not seen as normal were dirty or broken. By the small pool the tiles were broken or missing and someone could get seriously hurt. (Image attached) Outside our room was a balcony with a flower trough with dirt in and full of cog butts, lots and lots, area were eggs are cooked on a morning was always left in a disgusting state and not cleaned properly. Always running out of Diet Coke, beer and even tonic when there was only about 20 Europeans in drinking. Good points The restaurant staff and bar staff were amazing and a credit to the hotel. Always there and always anticipating what you may need. A credit to the hotel and made the stay bearable. The gardens were fantastic and very well looked after by the garden team. Plenty of room in the one room we stayed in. Would we go back? No would be my honest opinion I’m sorry to say as I loved the previous stay. Sorry

Beautiful and relaxing holiday, in a pleasant environment. Hotel clean and the staff was great. We liked the stay.We really enjoyed our stay. Possibility full of trips, we were on a boat where they offered diving. Otherwise there is a very nice town center and an old market. What is the downside, so rocky cliffs and a pier to the sea. Otherwise the sea was great.Otherwise, everything at the hotel works without problems, the staff was great and we greet them very much .. we will definitely return there one day: D

Easy, friendly hassle free check in. Room - clean, decent size. Bathroom had shower, toilet, sink, shaving point, hairdryer included. Room had a fridge, safe, wardrobe, TV, balcony. Pool area, 2 pools both clean and tidy, 1 pool centered on the animation team getting people involved in aerofics, dancing, darts, pool games etc. You get a towel card p.p, so no need to take pool towels Food was plentiful , breakfast , lunch, dinner & afternoon tea available. Hotel was 80% Eastern European so the cuisine was more to their tastes than British, but even a fairly fussy eater like me didnt go hungry! Had a sauna, jacuzzi & Turkish Hamam bath, staff in the spa were good & attentive, came out very relaxed and refreshed- prices far better than what it would cost in the UK Wifi - not great unless u were on the terrace, bar area or close to reception. Dont expect 4G or 5G speed as it wasnt fast. Theres a gift shop that sold lots of keepsakes and nick nacks, Aledin there was super friendly and helpful. The staff- brilliant, Ill mention a few names , but everyone I met was helpful and attentive. Mustafa, Faoud at the bar, Aledin gift shop, Reda housekeeper, Ahmed pool area - all deserve a mention. Electric - European adapter, money wise they will take EGP, GBP, USD, EUR. The staff appreciate any tips however small you can give. It's not 5 star luxury so dont go expecting it, Im hoping to go back in 2023. feel free to message if you need to know anything,
