Falcon Hills Hotel is frequently praised for its prime location, offering easy beach access and snorkeling opportunities, and its lively atmosphere with entertainment and amicable staff. However, some guests have called out the hotel for its basic and somewhat outdated rooms, with a few experiencing discomfort and issues such as mosquitoes.
While the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and provides satisfactory amenities, critiques include overly loud music, dated decor, and additional costs that some feel detract from the hotel's overall value. Despite these concerns, the attentive service is often highlighted as a positive aspect.

Detailed Reviews
The hotel itself was very nice, we asked for a quiet room and got one by the small (warm) swimming pool. Our room was on the second floor and generally very nice, with quiet good space. Cleaning was good, both of the room and in the hotel area.
This time of the year hotel was half full, with plenty of space by the pools which was lovely. The hotel offered us possibility to borrow clean beach towels everyday.
The breakfast did not look any good or fresh so we were eating outside, I only picked some coffee and I do not recommend it.
Now we get to the beach part, the hotel offers 2 options, one is a public city beach which was dirty (oil sports and trash) and noisy, and the Reef Beach which had very limited bading area, and mostly windy with red flag hanging. So this was a disappointing part, and we ended up going to El Fanar beach.
Another thing was an awful wifi connection which is only available at the reception. I would go for a mobile internet card if I visit again.

We booked a half term stay here, via Travel Republic, just a few days before flying out to Sharm. After a 6 hour flight delay we arrived at the hotel at 2am to find that our booking had not been forwarded to the hotel until the day of our stay, by then the hotel was full. This mistake was not the fault of the hotel, but the booking agent that Travel Republic uses.
The hotel kindly managed to find us one room that we could squeeze into, a little shabby but clean. The bathroom was good.
The breakfast the following morning was standard for this size/price of hotel , including omelette/fried egg stand, etc. Yes, it would get repetitive over the course of a week, but I think that's true of any breakfast buffet. The all inclusive lunch had a choice of meals, including chips and salad. The red wine and the beer were both great.
The outside spaces and pools at the hotel were really clean and well kept, with plenty of sun loungers.
The main negative was the dismal Wi-Fi, only available in the lobby and very patchy at best.
The main positive is the friendly, helpful staff. When they found out we were British we were treated like royalty, nothing too much trouble, 'welcome back' was a common greeting.
This is not a luxury hotel, nor does it pretend to be. It's an incredibly reasonable price. There is a shopping mall within a 20 minute walk with some great restaurants and coffee shops, so if you fancy a treat go for a meal out with the money you've saved by staying there.

Came back from vacation in sharm el sheikh, and especially this hotel - Falcon Hills surprised me in a good way. All staff are friendly and talkative, rooms were cleaned everyday, supplies were renewed also everyday, and also how not to mention amazing Animation team - people who were doing activities from morning till evening. They have everything from morning stretching, darts, ping pong, to the evening programme with interesting shows and dances. All team were really communicating with every person in hotel, and were really friendly to all. One of the pools was warm, and the other one was refreshingly colder. And food is tasty and the variety is almost everyday different, to try all the things you have to overeat everyday… Even though my vacation purpose was to travel more than stay in hotel, but the hotel is also worth to stay and just do nothing and sunbath.

Just returned from a week's stay with my daughter at Falcon Hills staying all inclusive.
A warm welcome at 9pm, they had put us a meal away which I considered really thoughtful and off to a good start. The hotel itself is basic but has two clean pools, one big, lively pool with loud music and a quieter small pool which just happened to be outside our ground floor room.
The rooms are very basic but clean, full size fridge, very handy, air con worked well, shower only which sprayed out everywhere as its all quite dated. The beds were hard as rocks, got used to it in the end but my hips..wow.
It was lovely to have the pool outside the room, plenty of loungers. Had a few incidents of people swimming late at night which disturbed my sleep but security soon came and told them to clear off. Get a room by the quiet pool, you won't get any sleep at the big pool and all the rooms surround the pools.
Now the food in the hotel was extremely disappointing, it did not cater for English at all despite their best efforts, I lived on rice the whole week and needless to say I don't want to see rice for a while now I'm home. I would not recommend all inclusive at this hotel as you will be disappointed. Drinks were always flat, watered down, even the wine tasted watered down, it just didn't seem right. I didn't make the most of the alcohol on all inclusive at all.
The best thing by far was the attitude of the hard working staff and animation team, I don't think the managers appreciate them at all. Sasha was fantastic, friendly, helped with our luggage, could not fault him. The staff in the dining room were all so lovely and friendly. Whatever they pay Sasha they need to double it.
Overall, we enjoyed our week, I would not have been able to stomach another week due to the food but everything else was acceptable for the price we paid.

We have been here twice and unfortunately it has gone down hill since covid.
1) small pool boy was a shocker in that he asked for € or $ every half hour even though he did nothing at all to help. He did not clean the pool area, tables or beds before guests came down they had to do it themselves. Half way through first week he got a new toy a whistle and blew it at everything but safety in the pool. Girls walking by, mates who were working in hotel, whenever he was board. Even when people were sleeping he would walk past and blow it. My wife a an 8 year old girl we’re looking at a gecko and taking images and when it ran off he ran after it and stamped on it killing it. The 8 year old was in tears. He would also come to the edge of the pool and stare at them making them feel uncomfortable. Horrible boy
Food has gone way down hill and this is because it is catering for the Egyptians who go there on holiday on government vouchers. They are horrendous in that they arrive on mass and take everything food wise and leave nothing. They don’t use the utensils provided for getting the food just grab it with their hands. If it’s not what they want they put it back. Yesterday breakfast started at 0700 and they had took all the bread by 0745 to make sandwiches for lunch. They are like locus and even the staff every meal apologised for their countryman’s behaviour.
Certain areas which are not seen as normal were dirty or broken. By the small pool the tiles were broken or missing and someone could get seriously hurt. (Image attached)
Outside our room was a balcony with a flower trough with dirt in and full of cog butts, lots and lots, area were eggs are cooked on a morning was always left in a disgusting state and not cleaned properly.
Always running out of Diet Coke, beer and even tonic when there was only about 20 Europeans in drinking.
Good points
The restaurant staff and bar staff were amazing and a credit to the hotel. Always there and always anticipating what you may need. A credit to the hotel and made the stay bearable.
The gardens were fantastic and very well looked after by the garden team.
Plenty of room in the one room we stayed in.
Would we go back? No would be my honest opinion I’m sorry to say as I loved the previous stay. Sorry

Booked via booking.com, we got a room with 2 beds despite the fact we ordered a 1 double bed room, they changed our room without a problem.
Second room was quite and clean. We had breakfast and dinner included, breakfast is ok, dinner was quite good with a big variety of food.
Stuff is really great here, from managers at the reception to chief animations.
Special thanks to Horus and Nastya. They made our stay many times better! They showed us around, recommended and showed cool places to visit.
Overall it everything was good, i can definitely recommend this hotel!
One thing to keep in mind, wi-fi is only at the reception. That's probably the only disadvantage we found.

+1
I arrived today at Falcon hills and it was amazing. We arrived a bit earlier but they didn't let us wait in the sun on the contrary they gave us the room and with their beautiful manners they took all of our luggage not letting us carry a single bag !! We had a tiny problem in the room that the remote of the tv wasn't working but in 3 minutes exactly they returned with a working remote.
Believe me the food is so good but you have to eat what you only need not take everything !!
The staff is really great and friendly.
For sure it's not the last time for me here ♥️
Special thanks for Mr. Kareem Magdy and all the working staff

Rude staff (mainly reception & entertainment team), very loud music playing until 11PM, bad food (edible but gets boring after a day, not much too chose from). We couldn’t get two keys for the room for some reason, it was difficult to get something done. Hotel is pretty far away from a beach, nearest beach isn’t free, bus drives to a free beach twice a day only. Rooms we okay for a 3-star hotel, showers were pretty dirty and old, we had no hot water and the hotel had problems with electricity way too often. Drinks were sometimes not available for some reason, looks like the bar staff could only use up X bottles of alcohol per day. Drinks were sometimes mysteriously restocked after some time (sometimes it was enough to send another person from the group to the bar or talk with a different bartender).
Once a waiter (or someone in a similar role, I don’t know how to call it) dropped some food on our table when cleaning it and he ignored it, we had to switch tables because he didn’t clean it for the next 20 minutes even though we asked several times.
When a complaint was made the reception manager said „You chose this hotel, you can’t complain”, I couldn’t belive these words. I am never coming back, can’t recommend it to anyone. Awful place.

Nice landscape of the hotel, it's small, but feels cozy.
Cleaning was decent, staff was okay, too bad some of them seemed overworked, like in reception, for example. Nastya from animation team was nice.
Our room was whole day in shade, so it was pretty cold in nights at this time of year, had to sleep in sweaters. AC, as in most budget hotels in Sharm, is cold air only.
Also guess due to room being in shade, there were crap load of mosquitoes getting through AC / ventilation, we had some not so exciting bloody mid night battles with them :)
Old furniture, especially beds, which were not comfortable at all.
We eventually left for another hotel, as this one did not met our expectations. It's cheap, though.

I have just returned from a 14 night stay at Falcon Hills and I look forward to returning again soon. The staff are all really friendly and nice, every day it’s like they’re happy to see you and greet you as such. The rooms are spacious, I only wish I had a double room instead of 2 singles, however I was comfortable enough I decided not to ask to change room.
My room was cleaned and fresh towels were provided daily. I found the facilities in the hotel to be clean and well kept, though they are a little tired and the place would benefit from a little bit of a makeover.
I found the food to be delicious, I didn’t struggle once to find something I would like. I don’t travel to eat chips and burgers and nuggets every day and if this is your expectation this is not the hotel for you.
The animation guys were all friendly and nice though the programme is a bit basic and boring. I would also add that if you want to go to clubs and leave whenever you want etc that you should go by taxi on your own as the animation guys need anyone who leaves with them to return with them. This worked for me as a solo traveller but if I was with friends I would probably not have went to clubs etc with them.
I went on several boat trips and the desert trek through the agent in the hotel and I would highly recommend them. They are excellent value for money and made my trip unforgettable.
I used the spa facilities and received some of the best massages I’ve ever paid for from Mahmoud. The body scrubs are also great however, the jacuzzi felt a bit dirty and smelled bad so I didn’t use that after the first time.
I want to give a special shout out and thank you to Attia, he really went out of his way to make sure I was looked after and was very kind to me. He does a really fantastic job and is a great people person.
The one minor complaint I would make is that I was invited to a special Christmas dinner at the hotel. At the time of booking I made the man from reception aware that I have a shellfish allergy. He told me he would make sure the kitchen was aware and I would be given chicken or something as an alternative. This didn’t happen, twice I was given a shrimp cocktail (once by the man who I told at booking I had an allergy to) and told the staff I had an allergy. I was then given soup I was told was vegetarian which was infact seafood soup, including shellfish. Thankfully I realised after a couple of spoonfuls and I went to my room to take some medication. It is disappointing that my allergy was not taken seriously and the staff did not seem to understand the severity that could have occurred had I not been prepared.
Overall a really fantastic couple of weeks and I can’t wait to return.

Hello, don't use either on holiday i'm afraid! there was no iron and I can't remember if there was a hairdryer.
Yes this hotel does have some adjoining rooms.
We stayed in August 2022 as a family of two adults and two teenage kids. We expected having two seperate rooms and were pleasantly suprised when they automatically gave us adjoining rooms without requesting it
