The Verginia Sharm Resort (ex Sol Verginia), which opened in July 2005, is located in Sharm el Sheikh on the southern tip of Sinai peninsula. Just 5 minutes from the beach by shuttle bus, close to the Ras-Om El Sid hill and 4 km distance from the historical city center. The hotel has 120 rooms (connecting rooms are available on request). I highly recommend not to go there. here is why: 1- the staff is not qualified or well trained to deal with customers. they are arrogant and not helpful 2- the rooms are highly deteriorated, the furniture, the paint and the bathroom in bad shape but yet functioning 3- the food ... oh the food... taste is ok.. not good but not too bad. the varieties are very limited and repeated actually. some items when they run out, they do not refill it. they are serving only 1 type of fruits with limited amount so if you do not get it early, you will never get it. 4- the restaurant operating hours are horrible, it is limited to 2 hrs per meal!!!.. so you have to be there on time otherwise, you are loosing it (usually, in other hotels they are operating each meal for 3 hrs) 5- drinks?? only coke and sprite in cold drinks and tea and coffee for hot ones. no juices (fresh or canned) or different type hot drinks. I do not drink alcohols so i cannot comment on it 6- All inclusive:: i did not see any types of snacks only the above mentioned drinks and for a limited duration 7- Wifi: the worst method to login i have ever seen. first of all it is allowed in the reception only. they give you a user name and password unique for yourself. but the funny thing, you have to enter them each and every time you want to login. 8- they are using a type of chemical for insects that smells very very bad for extended periods of the time. 9- the beaches: i visited only the coral beach and it was OK. not too bad however: the animation team is nice, the design of it is cosy. the pool is ok.

Zero higiene "they do not clean the rooms ,they clean the tables in the restaurant using tissu so i used to take with me the wet napkin to clean before eating ,they wash the glasses using water so i bought glasses from the market to have my coffee. The receptionist is not welcoming,he is a disater . The location is good with a nice pool and a good animation team.

The resort architecture and design is nice, it has a big pool in the front and some water slides which is nice. The kitchen staff are really helpful but the reception staff are awful!! When we arrived the room service ordered us to carry our bags up the floor to our rooms, i carried it without any concern since we just landed and I didn’t want to make any problems with the room service guy. Second day, my friend forgot her key in the room(they only give one key) the receptionist guy told her “Ok i will open it but don’t you ever repeat it again”. I don’t know why they don’t smile, they are always angry. We felt it was our mother screaming on us! Also in Lebanon when we talk we do a lot of body language and signs in our hand. Mr. Room service guy “Mustapha” came to us when we were talking to “Imad” the receptionist and told us “this is unacceptable it is know internationally that body signs are bad and as if you are pointing that Imad isn’t doing his job well”. What a nice way to talk to guests! I guess receptionists should be very open minded to customers and try to talk politely without giving moral lessons! For God’s sake I’m going for a vacation not to listen to these words! The breakfast has a lot of variety but there was a lot of decline in hygiene. The chef puts half of oil in the pan to fry the egg! I’m sure most of the people left the hotel having cholesterols. The rooms are not bad, location is good. Employees should have a massive learning in customer service because they highly lack it.

I ve been to verginia with my kids first impression comes from the reception team was friendly and gave us the room in a short time The room is standared 4* hotels clean pool view later in the resturant the quality of foods was sufficient but not variety of choises due to the hotel size the staff welcomed us there in particular mr mohamed sadek the assi g manager thaks for his warm hospitality it was the first timr i recognize hem he sent fruit dish and drinks in the minibar daily Animition team were nice guys simple and perfecr!! The hotel not see front but allow the free access of residence to a rocky beach which has a wonderful reef with colored fish I ask the staff of many 5* hotels i ve been to visit verginia for traning how to deal with guests and how to please them with few cost and less facilities Despite i used to change the hotels every visit but i look forward to visit veginia again
