* Booking The site covers all possible questions and the online booking system works well. We booked a special offer for 1 week stay (7N / 5D diving in b&b) at just less than 500€/pp.
* Airport transfers These are included in the price and Yusri even comes to greet you before passing customs/passport control. The drive to the hotel takes approx 15'. For the return, they check your flight etd and get you to the airport on time.
* Hotel check in Waseem will give you a warm welcome and explain hotel details.
* Room We stayed in room 104, ground floor, facing the pool. Rather basic but very clean and offering exactly what one needs : bedding is great, shower has got good pressure, the AC works well and rooms are cleaned daily. The terrace has seating + table and there are hooks to dry stuff. You receive a towel which can be used for the (nearby) beach or on the dive boat.
* Food All meals are served at Pomodoro, the hotel's restaurant, offers indoor and outdoor seating and also caters to non hotel guests. We had added HB which includes "premium" breakfast (4 set menu choices) and also includes dinner (various dishes to choose from). We tried several, nothing was exceptional, but the food quality was very good and good value for money.
* Breakfast pre-order Each day, you have to pre-order breakfast the night before by scanning the QR code and confirming your choice(s). We can understand the plausible cost reason for this also aiming to avoid waste but the waiters told us that everything left on the plates has to be thrown away for hygiene reasons... Eventually, you do ofcourse get what you ordered, but we found it slightly annoying as who knows exactly what the next breakfast will be...
* Dive center We checked in the next morning, showed our certification, gave my med statement (55+), we tried on the gear which we rented (28€/pppd) and they prepped our boxes. The center is very well organized and all of the staff are chill and very helpful.
* Dive boat Your dive box will be moved from the center to the boat before you board. We were lucky enough to spend our 5 diving days on their own owned boat, the Camel Tribe. Max diver capacity appeared to be 22x but we were never more than 14 divers which was great but this was ofcourse the low season. Apparently, even in high season, they never pack their boat(s) as other dive operators do. The captain is a real pro and the deck crew, Hassan and Yusef, are always there to help and assist you, in order to make your dives as comfortable as possible. They also make the cake (served after dive1) prepare lunch ((10€ pppd - served after dive2) and slice oranges (served after dive3). Soft drinks, coffee and tea are complimentary.
* Planning You meet each morning at 8am, groups are announced and you then walk to the small Naama bay harbour (5' walk) - you always need you to take your passport. After dive1 and 2, you can choose to do an additional 3rd dive (at extra cost) You return to the harbour between 4 and 4.30 pm.
* Dive groups They group same level divers (max 6 to 1DM) to make everyone happy.
* Dive masters Alessandra was our DM for 4 days and Islam for our 5th day. Both were very pro and relaxed/chill at the same time.
* Briefings Thorough and informative briefings. They always take their time, displaying the topography and possibly updating sea conditions just before the dives.
* Dive sites Mainly Ras Mohammed and Tiran strait, both take toughly 45' to reach. All sites reminded me of how increadibly beautiful the Red Sea is and the great variety of fish and coral one can see on each dive.
We will certainly return to Sharm and dive with Camel Dive again.
If you choose Sharm, choose Camel Dive !

We had a wonderful and well-cared for stay. Our goal was a lot of diving and Camel Dive Center is perfect for that. Upon arrival at the airport we were received by a man who took us straight to the transfer bus. We were able to check in straight away at the hotel and go to our spacious and clean room. We then immediately took our diving gear to the diving center in the hotel so that we did not have to be there earlier the next day. You will receive a personal crate for your belongings that is yours for the entire week. They ensure that the crate is always at the location where you are going to dive that day. The boat, the bus, etc. During the diving trips there is clear communication, close attention is paid to safety and there is help available to help set up and put on your diving set. The crew on the boat is extremely friendly and helpful. They come to your rescue before you even realize you need it. Drinks are available on the boat and lunch and snacks are always good. The guides are all very experienced and are willing to help you or learn new skills. After a diving day you can go to the meeting point (with relaxing benches) of the diving center for an after drink, to talk to your fellow divers and to ask the guides questions. They also stay until 6 pm to do this with the divers. We found this very pleasant and pleasant. At the end of the week, the diving center washed our diving gear (for a fee) so that we could take it home dry and clean. Some more good points: - Great value is attached to safety. Above and underwater. - Their goal is to make your dives the best they can be. It's your holiday. - If something breaks on your stuff, they will help you. - There were many single (female) travelers and they all felt comfortable and safe. The hotel considers this very important and will take steps if something seems to go wrong. We really had a wonderful diving holiday during which we saw beautiful underwater life and enjoyed the service of all employees. We would definitely go back again.

My recent stay at this gem in Sharm el Sheikh was a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and eager to assist. There are impressive restaurants, both offering straightforward Western food which was perfect after a day’s diving. It is also right next to the well-organised diving centre, which was great in the morning for access to our diving excursions, making them hassle-free. The diving staff are also excellent, very focused on safety, and several are also experienced and have expertise in helping disabled divers, for which I was very grateful. The hotel's swimming pool is maintained in excellent condition and the overall maintenance of the hotel is exceptional; it is extremely clean. I would suggest some sort of hoist or access for wheelchair users to the pool, as the Camel is very welcoming to disabled travelers already. As a wheelchair user, I initially experienced a minor inconvenience due to noise from a nearby nightclub. However, the hotel management promptly addressed the issue by providing me with a different room that was quieter and equally comfortable. While my friends weren't particularly disturbed by the noise, as they had earplugs, I found it extremely disturbing and could not sleep, and I appreciate the hotel's response. The only minor drawback encountered was the somewhat rigid breakfast options, and I would suggest that these could be a little more flexible. My stay at this lovely hotel in Sharm El Sheikh was very enjoyable. The staff deserves special mention for their exceptional assistance throughout our stay. The diving staff are very devoted to their work, well organized, and always positive. It was a pleasure to dive with them, especially as a beginner. I would highly recommend the Camel to anyone seeking a great stay at the centre of Sharm el Sheikh and look forward to revisiting soon,

This hotel is perfect for scuba divers that wish to dive at Sharm without going in a liveaboard. The breakfast and dinner are excellent. The organization of the dives is highly professional. Being an underwater photographer I asked for a privite guide, Anna, who was fantastic, always pointing to good photo opportunities. The safety standards are very high, and the food on the boats was excellent.

Amazing hospitality from a very caring Management Team and all their Staff. As I'm a SCUBA Diver this accommodation is perfect as it provides everything "under one roof". The Hotel Staff collect you from the airport assisting you through the baggage claim area. Once checked-in at the Hotel you will discover the rooms are either ground with terrace or first floor with balcony with views over the pool. The rooms are all quite large with 2 large single beds and shower/toilet room. There's a fridge, TV, kettle and complimentary Tea & Coffee. There are complimentary beach towels that can be changed daily as well as the normal bath and hand towels for the bathroom. The Hotel Manager, Mohamed Sherif, will always go the extra mile to accommodate your requests for any assistance you may need whether it is room, Hotel or dining room related. He also assisted myself with problems I had with my flight company and also eating outside of the normal hours due to a Hospital visit. The Staff are amazing especially during these challenging times as they go about their daily duties with care and attention to health and safety of all the guests. The whole place is spotless!! There is a brilliant booking service for selecting your breakfast options by simply scanning a QR code and following the on screen info. Although this Hotel is in the middle of Town your sleep is uninterrupted as all the rooms are set back from the main promenade within a courtyard type area. Fantastic effort from everybody at The Camel Dive Hotel who looked after me and made me feel part of their family!! I'll be back!!!!!

I didn't stay at camel dive centre accommodation so I can't comment But I first dived at this centre around 2002 then again around 2004 when I did a rescue course. Always professional with friendly instructors, not the cheapest in naama bay but you get what you pay for! They will take you boat diving even with just 1 customer, a far as I'm aware no other dive centre will do this. Hannah was especially professional and the dive briefings were very clear, professional and thorough. The dives themselves were at a very relaxed pace I like to go slowly and look for the micro life in the reefs not just the big stuff. So this was perfect. The dive gear was a bit old and tired but I would say well maintained and nitrox was included in the price. all in all if you want hassle free diving, will plenty of time to get ready ( I hate being rushed as I'm on holiday i like a nice chilled pace, just like my diving) the only negativity I saw was an elderly diver damage the reef whilst taking pictures and video with less than perfect buoyancy control, but unfortunately I have seen this many times before around the world, your better off taking a professional photographer the dive, they will take far better video and photos than amateur divers ever will and you will be included in the video. I think instead of wasting time shopping around your probably better to go straight to camel for a hassle free experience . All the best guys

Dear Phil, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and for your loyal support since your first visit back in 2002. We’re delighted to hear that our team’s professionalism, especially Hannah’s clear and thorough briefings, left a positive impression. Providing a relaxed, hassle-free dive experience has always been one of our top priorities, and it’s wonderful to know that our slower pace aligned perfectly with your style of exploring the micro life on the reef. We appreciate your honest feedback about our gear. Although it may show signs of wear, we’re committed to strict maintenance schedules and quality checks to keep everything in top condition. We also value your comments regarding reef protection. We strive to educate and encourage responsible diving practices, though, as you noted, we can’t always control every individual’s buoyancy skills. We’ll continue to emphasize reef awareness so that everyone can fully enjoy the underwater environment while preserving its beauty for future divers. Even though you didn’t stay with us this time, we’d love to welcome you to the Camel Dive Club & Hotel accommodations on your next visit, so you can experience all we have to offer under one roof. Thank you for recommending us as a hassle-free dive center—it means a lot to our entire team. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Until then, safe travels and happy diving! Warm regards, Camel Dive Club & Hotel Management

I have just spent an amazing week diving with friends at Camel Dive Club and Hotel and I have to say it was one of the best dive trips I've ever had.
I have dived with Camel many times in the past and it has always been an amazing experience all around. Not just incredible diving but the staff go above and beyond to create an amazingly chilled, exciting, leisurely and stimulating experience throughout the week. It was a real joy to return to Camel after a few torturous years away (due to covid lockdowns in the UK) to find the professional standards and world class customer care has not changed and remains exceptional. My guide Said oozed with knowledge and experience on all the dive sites and had amazing abilities at finding our group some really exciting underwater sights (especially for this time of year) including Eagle rays, grey reef sharks, white tip reef sharks and loads of nudibranch!
The boats are all great with the friendliest and most helpful crew. They were attentive enough to assist with the less experienced divers on-board whilst giving those with more experience the space we enjoy. Everything was so well organised and I love that they never overload the boat with divers. Camel is very conscious about giving everyone a great experience in and out of the water so there is always comfortable space on the boat to lie out and chill during the leisurely cruises between dive sites.
Even though I have dived this area of the Red Sea many times, the dive sites always offer something new to explore or see. I opted to do many extras like a trip to the Thistlegorm and 3rd dives everyday etc and it was all worth the tiny bit extra on the bill for the extra experiences. Lunch and drinks is provided on the boats and is always delicious and varied each day. The whole day is incredibly well organised, with the hard working and friendly tank boys loading and unloading the boats each morning and afternoon with the speed and efficiency of an F1 pit stop team.
I stayed at Camel Hotel also and it is the best hotel in Sharm for sure. An intimate, little hotel, its like a hidden oasis of calm in amongst the general bustle of Na'ama Bay. All the staff here are great and the food at the Pomodoro resturant was very affordable and delicious! The roof bar was also a great place to unwind and regale diving stories at the end of each day.
All in all this is a fantastic dive center and hotel, both suited for beginner divers all the way through to the most experienced. I'm already planning my next trip out here in 2022!
Thank you to all the staff at Camel for another great week. See you all again soon!

Camel is the perfect hub for solo travelers – that’s why they often offer promotional rates including unbeatable deals for divers travelling solo, who normally incur higher rates due to expensive single room supplements. The hotel is only bookable by divers who dive with Camel Dive Club (in the same premises), which means that it is very easy to make friends with divers coming from different nationalities, mainly Europeans. Both female and male solo travellers choose this operator, which has also been featured on the popular Girls that Scuba website, as a top global choice for female divers travelling alone. The location of Camel Dive Club & Hotel is ideal also for divers who would like to explore the surrounding area. In addition to the legendary Camel Bar, located in the same premises, hotel and dive club guests have easy access to all venues located in Naama Bay, which is a pedestrian area offering a wide choice of restaurants, local shops and night club venues, including international chains such as Hard Rock Cafe', Little Buddha and Pacha.
