We visited Camel Dive Club in augustus of 2022 and we’ve had an amazing 10 days! The hotel is very close to Naama Bay with many shops and restaurants close by. The diving instructors are also extremely kind and capable, especially Ahmed Ghanem, who was my advanced instructor at the time (special thanks to him)!
I'm writing this review after 3 months of my visit cuz I really missed the place and they deserve the highest rating possible. I stayed there in May for 10 days. Went diving on 8 days out of these 10 and they were some of the best if not the best dives of my life. All their guides are instructors and they took our safety very seriously. They were also very knowledgeable of all the diving sites we went to and all the marine life there. We had a briefing before every dive and knew exactly what to expect. Regarding the hotel itself everyone literally was great. They have a lot of 'Ahmed' there either at the reception, resturant or the club,Ghanem, or on the boats and they all were great and made my stay memorable. And what I loved the most and would recommend to any diver going there, is the community. I went to Sharm solo, knew no one on the boats but made friends from the first day some of whom I'm still connected with until this day. You will meet different nationalities, professions and backgrounds but all share the same love, passion and excitement you have for diving.…
Lovely rooftop location where you can watch the sun go down over the mountains. Welcoming and attentive staff. Drinks a bit pricey but happy hour is good value. We had some tortillas to go with our drinks which were good. Food comes from the adjacent Pomodoro restaurant which we also visited ; again a bit pricey compared to other restaurants but the food was tasty.
Absolutely everyone loved it from the old and new divers, and the old & young snorkellers. Both my brother and I had been to Camel a few times, so not surprised by the professionalism and friendliness, but still deserves to be recognized and thanked! Three very happy new scuba divers (Open Water Course, aged 12, 13 & 15.) Hana was brilliant, and they all were so grateful to have her an instructor. Our youngest, is now so excited to start scuba diving in a few years! My Mum (80) had previously felt very panicky snorkelling around Tiran, but after the local boat snorkel going so well, was happy to try again - and had the most brilliant day - Mo, I was told was such a friendly and reassuring guide. Everyone was fab - as well of course the Captains and the Boat Crews. Absolutely everything was just perfect and thank you for accommodating all our last minute requests & the fact we were a large group!…
Camel Divers (Sharm El Sheikh) were recommended to us by Coraya Divers (Marsa Alam), and they were not wrong; what a great team Camel Divers are. All the dive sites were fantastic (especially SS Thistlegorm) and the organisation and professionalism were first class (special thanks to Yasser, Sabina, and Thomas but to the whole team and support crews). We will be back as it was that great a trip. Thank you!!!
Just wanted to say what a fabulous holiday at the camel dive hotel and dive centre. Everyone made it a total pleasure to return to my favourite destination. The food in pomadoro was excellent, the room was spotlessly clean, the atmosphere and vibe so friendly and welcoming, every guest is treated with so much respect, no matter how or who you are. As for the dive centre, previously the bar was set really high, post covid the bar is set to another level. Nothing at all is too much trouble , the guides are all incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and extremely passionate about life under the water. You can’t help but be drawn into the fantastic atmosphere created by all the staff in the centre .whether staying at the hotel , or visiting for the day , snorkelling or diving , whether a dive master or complete novice , every guest is equally respected . Thank you everyone at Camel, I’ll be back next year … again to see you all…
Nothing better for diving and staying. The diving facilities are great and it's just a short walk to the jetty and the dive boats. Rooms are basic but have everything you need and are all organised around a lovely, clean and deep pool. Towels for around the pool are given out. No hairdryers in the rooms (not needed) but just mentioning in case this is needed. This is our 4th stay here and it's lovely to see so many returning visitors and a lot of the instructors have been with Camel for a long time and they welcome you back. The people on reception can't do enough for you and are so incredibly helpful and so polite. Special mention to Ihab T who really helped when trying to exchange some money when the ATMs weren't working.
We dove and stayed at Camel Hotel. Excellent accommodations. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Can’t speak highly enough about the location and the accommodations. On-site restaurant was great. We especially enjoyed the breakfast in the morning sitting outside in the beautiful courtyard. Above on the outdoor deck they serve dinner and cocktails. Great location excellent food and again the staff was so helpful.
Returned to Camel to refresh our skills and dive with our favourite team! Always feel so safe here. These guys listen to clients needs and desires and work hard to meet every request. Will be back soon!
