Gafy Resort Aqua Park offers a mixed experience, according to traveler feedback. While the resort's beachfront location and array of amenities like aqua parks and entertainment are highlights, the service quality and room conditions receive a fair share of criticism.
Some guests commend the value and friendly staff, yet others are let down by the unprofessional service and room cleanliness issues. Despite these inconsistencies, the central position in Naama Bay and the appealing beachfront continue to charm many visitors.

Detailed Reviews

1) Hotel rating as a whole - 4 primarily due to the ideal value for money, week tour from 24.01.25 to 30.01.25 departing from Sochi on the wings of Azur-Air, booked on TRAVELATA (Tour Operator Intourist) room Standard on Ultra All Inclusive System for only 58 k! Plus for just 4.4 thousand individual airport-hotel-airport transfer! 2) In Naama Bay, this is my third hotel (after Fairuz and Promenade) with a very good location, a fairly large sandy beach, a large well-maintained area and its own small water park (in which I even saw a couple of moms and kids, although January this year is not very warm, only +21-23 days). As for the sea, the water was exhilarating +21-22), I note that my reef by the hotel, though small, is fishy enough, only on it I found the only couple of amphitrions in the bay; but the main snorkeling spot is still by the Novotel. It's a pity there's less fish every year, this time only one baby Napoleon, an eagle ray and a wing each) 3) Room: Instead of the standard given superior, this is a 1242 bungalow, close to the beach, with normal plumbing and hot water. Yes, the room is tired, but for the night just right, the only disadvantage is the door to the adjoining room, the audibility is unique, saved only by the earplugs) Cleanliness, order, change of towels - room service is normal. 4) Food: as the reviews complain about the metered distribution of meat and fish, huge queues, lack of seats and dishes - it is true, but only immediately after opening! I started coming in for breakfast and lunch an hour after opening, and all please no queue or nerves). The quality and range of dishes is generally satisfactory, it is difficult to stay hungry, and a couple of times even managed to eat, when the grilled was excellent meatloaf and posh steamed beef. By the way, the maintenance staff should be commended - clean up quickly, help find a place especially for parents with children. There's a great bartender at the bar, and thanks a lot for the cool service. The only comment that has been widely reported is that there is no tea in the evening, although there are cakes and sweets. I suggest the property do as it does in all the neighbouring hotels - put a hot water boiler and a tea bag outside the bar. 5) The biggest drawback is the fight against mosquitoes through regular, daily GAS ATTACKS - at 5am and 5pm with the roar of the jet engine (and planes fly around the clock over the hotel, but they are not so heard!) process the area, and through the cracks in the two outside doors all the smoke at once in the room! And if you can run away from the hotel in the evening, then 5 a.m. where to run? Sure, there is a result, but at this cost... CONCLUSIONS: Overall, the hotel deserves a positive assessment, especially as a budget option, for families with children and the elderly. I note the attentive attitude of all staff, reception and employees of restaurants and bars, as well as animators. Thank you for your pleasant holiday!

We stayed at the hotel at the end of April-beginning of May 2024. Pros: 1) the location is awesome! Everything is nearby: the embankment, supermarkets, the market, many cafes and restaurants, there are places to take a walk in the evening. This is a huge plus, a very good location for those who do not want to spend their entire vacation at the hotel. 2) sandy beach, convenient entry into the sea, fish swim, although the corals are not alive. There are many sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach, enough for everyone. The sea is clean - just a thrill, just what we wanted. 3) well-groomed territory. The pools are clean, everything is tidy, the bushes are always trimmed. 4) we checked in quickly: $20 at the reception, and we checked in as soon as we arrived (at about 11) we didn’t have to wait 14. They gave us a room with a third bed for a child (they didn’t ask for extra money for it) 5) Wi-Fi in the room and many places on the territory - free and excellent reception.
Minuses: 1) room cleaning is a C grade, and does not depend on tips, depends only on the cleaner, some are slapdash, and some clean very thoroughly 2) the room itself is very tired: both renovation and furniture require updating. 3) in the restaurant there is not enough space for everyone, there is not enough cutlery, there are many queues. The variety of food is not very wide, but we definitely didn’t go hungry, there was always something to eat. The desserts are delicious, the flatbreads are fried on the street and they are also very tasty. But if you eat at a luxurious buffet, then definitely not this hotel. 4) alcohol for very undemanding holidaymakers) 5) Italian a la carte restaurant, well, it’s just funny: not tasty, little choice. Worth going only if you are tired of running around in the main restaurant.

Gorgeous beach and that's all! This is how you can describe this hotel. A very budget hotel, I would even say an economy option but with a very good beach! In terms of nutrition, everything is very weak, there is always fish and chicken, but you need to grab some beef. They cook frankly poorly, the marten is over-dried and it’s difficult to find something to eat. Food is at the level of a three-star hotel. The food is served carelessly. In terms of numbers, the situation is a little better, but I won’t say it’s ideal either. The number of rooms is old but tolerable, but a frankly dirty and dusty room is already too much. The room is cleaned extremely poorly. And the same applies to the territory and pools. So the staff can definitely be given a negative rating too. The area is small but not entirely small. There are several pools, a couple of slides and mini slides for children. But the area itself is beautiful. The animation in the hotel is a simple amateur activity, but we made up for it with walks outside the hotel and excursions. We took excursions from the company Camitourcom, they have good prices and organize everything very well. Small groups of tourists and guides speak Russian very well. You can easily find their website by name on the Internet. But the beach here is really gorgeous! The approach from the shore is sandy and flat, shoes for swimming are generally unnecessary, and at the same time the coral reef is only fifty meters from the shore. Excellent rare combination. So, for such a gorgeous beach, the hotel can be forgiven for everything) The price of the hotel, although it can be considered overpriced considering the living conditions, but the beach justifies the price in my opinion. So I recommend it!

We relaxed in this hotel with our husband in June 2024. The hotel is located on the first line of Naama Bay, its sandy beach, for relaxation with children. Convenient location, nearby shops, pharmacies and the promenade you can walk along the entire line of the bay hotels to the entertainment area and cafe. Lezhakov and umbrellas were always enough. There's a living reef, watching the underwater world every morning. There was plenty of food for lunch and dinner, grilled meat, fish, seafood, salads, vegetables, sweet fruit. The only comment on breakfasts, monotonous, was to add butter, a couple of kinds of porridge and eggs, otherwise all was enough. Tea, coffee, juices are not natural. For alcohol, there are two bars on the beach, one with alcohol is free and one with soft drinks is free. Also by the pools there are two bars where alcohol, beer is periodically warm and cocktails too, there has never been ice. Also remarks on water, every day left two 0.5 bottles in the room and no more bottled water anywhere else, in the bar in glasses, we bought in the Mango store market near the hotel. Cleaning the room daily and pleasant. Other than that, everything was happy, a special thanks to the animator Vika and the entire animation team, every day entertained and aqua aerobics, boccia, children's discotheques, fire show, belly dance, different shows were every day. The staff were friendly, smile, went to an Italian restaurant a la carte, ate heartily. Seafood pizza and grilled fish are beyond praise. In general, the hotel deserves its 4 stars and would love to come back here again.

The location is optimal, close to the center of Naama Bay, with access to the sandy beach, without pier, with the possibility of seeing colorful fish also on the shore. I DO NOT RECOMMEND it for the dilapidated rooms, old and not cared for in maintenance. Above all I complain about poor cleaning, practically non-existent, really dirty, very dirty, even for the most basic!

The rooms are dirty, the staff takes a very long time to respond (you have to wait several days for clean towels/paper/bedding). The food is terrible (you beg for butter in the morning, and in the evening you are persuaded to get a second piece of chicken). Only local alcohol is available, everything is in disposable containers. When you ask for rose wine, they mix white and red before your eyes without even being embarrassed. If you don’t like something and you talk about it, the attitude towards vacationers immediately changes. The only advantages are the accessibility of the beach and walking distance to Naama Bay, where you can eat and drink up!

Gafy from English - chatty! I’ll head over to Ozoo (Ouzo in Greece and Raki in Turkey) to chat a little about this hotel. Maybe you read Yazykata Khveska?! We checked into a standard suite in the Osiris 1 cluster, 20m from the beach. Clean plumbing, hot water flows without delay, air conditioning is obedient and efficient. Two separate large beds with a common headboard, a safe, a refrigerator, a modest terrace with two armchairs and a table and a drying rack. There is a howitzer in the passage between the clusters. Should we fire something on the occasion of our arrival?! Of all the pools, only one small one between the 3-story buildings was slightly heated. The beach can be the envy of many hotels (Tamra, , Rehana, Concorde...). Flowers and palm trees, shrubs - everything is well-groomed, trimmed, there are no weeds, the soil is mulched. Among the living creatures - cockatoos, seagulls, herons. There are no restrictions on access to neighboring beaches, plus a convenient promenade the length of the entire Naama Bay. The food turned out to be not as bad as some lampoons might have expected. Pies and crumpets from the heat, guava, phaselis, kumquat (the color and size of a loquat), melon, eggplants fried in boiling oil for breakfast, cauliflower, broccoli, steamed, fried, vegetable salads with metaxa, crispy minced balls zucchini, my favorite arugula... In the evening, grilled kebab and chicken... However, there are some confusion. Giving out eggs is a whole ritual! Mayakovsky would have written: Don’t lose face - knock the cook’s egg out! There are also “excesses on the spot” - everyone who is thirsty gets a spoonful of beef stroganoff! I'm not a lying dog. Of course, you have to fight the grips. With all that, when a restaurant opens, the doors are stormed like on Black Friday! Then the “hunt” begins for tasty treats - fruits, croissants, chips and cutlets... However, everyone has the right to decide for themselves what to call the restaurant - Horus (in the original) or Horrus! In general, the hotel (now in the foot) leaves a pleasant aftertaste, even after check-out - the water park and the beach with all the bars + the neighboring McDonald's are at your disposal. So you can spend long hours before departure on sun loungers in the shade of palm trees, sipping cappuccino! Enjoy your holiday everyone! Thanks to: the hotel team for their charm, Ellina – Meridian Tour agent for her patience and work!

The hotel is definitely not 4 stars!!! Maximum 2.5 For a piece of meat the size of a quail egg, you will stand in line all the time. The choice of food is very poor. People write about the choice of desserts, I'm surprised here. There are a lot of cakes, but they are just different colors. After the first wave of people who ate in the dining room, it is not realistic to wait for new service. A bunch of waiters move around the dining room aimlessly. Get ready to tip every day for everything, without this they will do everything in a mess. Linen is changed for dirty ones!!! At 5 am every single day there is a very loud disinfection of the hotel area, if you are a light sleeper like me, get ready to wake up Beach: clean water, fish near the shore, corals. But the shore is dirty, people smoke everywhere, a child playing in the sand constantly digs up swag. Free juices are a fiercely chemical, very sweet concentrate!!! We ended up drinking only water. Some pensioners like the hotel, and they like everything. Don't be fooled by rave reviews!!! Then don't say I didn't warn you. Have a nice holiday everyone

The best thing here is the sea and the beach. The food is not bad, there is not much variety, but there is enough of everything. Room cleaning consists of changing towels and wiping the floor in the bathroom. Bring toilet paper with you, otherwise you will have to look for a very long time to find the person who was supposed to put it there. Alcohol is a separate issue - you try it if you accidentally run into it at the moment when it was brought to the bar, and then within five minutes it suddenly runs out, just as a coffee machine, cola and sprite machine suddenly breaks down.

I will tell you the most honest review about the hotel. The hotel is a complete g...o only for 60+, the bartenders themselves say that the hotel is below average and the taxi driver that it is the 200th out of 270 in Sharm el-Sheikh. The food is g...o everything is absolutely not tasty, there is fruit it’s impossible, salads are chopped like pigs, meat is given one piece per person, to get two pieces you have to beg, although they give it to your own without a queue, it’s impossible to drink alcohol in only two bars at the pool, beer is also only at the pool, bottled, they give 1-2 glasses in your hands and After 1-2 hours it runs out, you have to go across the street to the store and buy it. On the beach there is a bar with soft drinks, also from a bottle, there is a paid bar on the beach, but there beer costs 120 pounds in a 65 store. The beach itself is not bad, quite large with a smooth sunset, but this is the Red Sea and I wanted to look at the beautiful reefs (this is my personal opinion) The territory itself looks pretty good, but this can be said to be the only plus. They gave us different rooms for $10, not bad. Friends had a 3-bed room without hot water, they replaced it with a 2-bed room. Disgustingly old, many rooms are being renovated, so things may change in the future. Conclusion: if you want to spoil your holiday, come to the Gafy Hotel. Oh, I forgot, we haven’t even heard of children here, there is a children’s water park, but it’s cold and there’s absolutely nothing to feed them; on the contrary, there’s McDonald’s, so many mothers yearn for food there. Dear vacationers, read the reviews before choosing, don’t make our mistakes
