A lovely week in the sun at Remal Beach.

We had room 312 which was a family room with french balcony ( no balcony as such just sliding doors and a security rail) the room was huge, we had one area woth a king size bed and then another room with bunk beds which easily could have fitted another king size bed! The room was spotless albeit a bit dated.

We stayed around the family pool every day as it was the quietest with no loud music or activities and the pool was spotless. Mohammed the pool man was so friendly and attentive and lofty from the pool bar was great, sometimes distracted with his phone but overall very friendly and happy.

We went to 2 al la cartes, the italian which had lovely food but lacked ambiance and then the egyptian which had ambiance and tasty food but the food came out stone cold. We have definitely had better al la carte experiences elsewhere

The main restaurant was fine. Friendly staff and very clean. They could do with labeling what food is vegetarian better but its a small gripe.

There is one lobby bar in the beach part of the hotel and the inside seating area is souless, its bright lights, no comfy chairs and doesnt make you want to sit and chill. Its a shame because in the evening its nice to have a relaxing area to have a drink in the evening.

Overall a fantasic small hotel (beach not resort) with a fantasic reef to snorkel and friendly staff

We stayed here for 11 nights. I was concerned as the hotel is very much advertised towards the Eastern Europen/Russian Market. However it was a very nice stay. A few things let the hotel down, namely our room cleaner who left a lot to be desired. Long Story there. However the rest of the hotel was spotless. We stayed here due to using Sunrise Hotels in Hurghada and I'm glad we did. Felt very familiar coming to this hotel for the first time. Reception and check in was OK, but Checking out was a nightmare, staff behind the desk arguing with each other, ignoring me, dealing with others who had just walked up etc. All I wanted to do was hand my key cards back. However now onto the many many positives, the food was plentiful and always a good selection, plus you had a choice of up to 8 Al A Cartes, four in Remal Resort and 4 at Remal Beach. These were not all open every night so you had to book for the relevant night it was open. The same team of Mohamed, Moustafa and Bashir looked after you here and also at the Pool Snack Bar during the day. They did a fantastic job and really made us feel welcome everytime. Brilliant service without fail from these guys. The food in the Al A Cartes was good as well, and a straight forward menu selection.
The main buffet Restraunt was always very busy but thanks to another two fantastic guys Emad and Mohamed, we never once went without a seat or a drink.
The lobby bar was a nice place to relax and here we had Ahmed who again went out of his, way to look after us.
We spent a lot of time at the pool and one of the outstanding superstars of the Hotel was El Sayeed from the pool bar. He never stopped and was always so welcoming to us despite being so busy and having some rather rude guests to deal with.
The hotel is, at the top of a small hill and is well appointed and clean, there is a very regular shuttle cart to and from Remal Beach a short distance away where there is a stunning coral reef to snorkel at, accessed by a short floating pontoon. I snorkeled here almost everyday, it was amazing.
As usual with Sunrise hotels its the staff that nail the experience and as above very special mention goes to El Sayeed (Pool Bar), Emad and Mohamed (Main Restaurant), and Mohamed, Moustafa and Bashir from snack and Al A Cartes. Thank you for a great stay.

We rested together with daughter in this hotel Sunrise Remal Resort from 07/04 to 07/11/2023. Lovely hotel, very clean, staff very friendly, attentive, always ready to provide any assistance. We were placed in a large room, in which all care products are of good quality, the constant provision of drinking water. The room was cleaned daily. Room overlooking the sea, from the balcony you can see a beautiful sunset🤗. The food at the hotel is delicious, varied buffet style. The quality manager Ricardo asks every day about the quality of the food and whether they like cooking, which is not unimportant for such a large hotel We really want to come back to this hotel!

The Place is awful I'm so disappointed. I'm surprised that this place has good reviews (most of the good reviews from their staff). I booked six rooms and we weren't happy at all with their services. First, at the reception they were very slow takes them forever to gives us the rooms (Hiytham and Mahmoud weren't helpful at all). They don't have a system. they charge me twice for my room and they told me it will go to your bank account and it didn't.
Second, the room wasn't clean the floors were so dirty my feet became filthy within a couple of minutes and I had to wash my feet and wear my slipper most of the time (no slippers were provided by the hotel). The shower was dirty and broken. The shampoo and soap bottles had not been replaced since the last person who stayed there so they were partially empty. Also, the TV & internet wasn't working in the room.
The food was absolutely disgusting to the point where it was hardly edible. I will never forget the smell of it.
The kids' area was very poor no actual activity for kids just coloring on a white paper and the girl who's in the kids' area doesn't speak English or Arabic just the Russian language which I don't understand why I traveled to Sharm, not Russia
Take it from me don't go there it's awful you will regret it. They asks me to write a good review about them but I'm sorry I wasn't happy at all. I'm going again to sharm next but definitely not to your place😞

This is the smaller neighbouring sister hotel of the Sunrise Remal Beach hotel. Although clean, the hotel definitely feels somewhat dated.
Room cleaning was a bit hit and miss, check sheets on arrival as some of our bedding was stained, although all issues mostly quickly resolved. We asked to change rooms as our allocated family room had no balcony and this was sorted the next day and moved to a better room. It did have a broken TV in new room, that wasn't sorted the whole of our visit but after mentioning it several times we gave up.
The majority of the staff (all male) were courteous, the younger staff were more pleasant. Reception staff could be abnoxious at times, we tended to speak to concierge staff instead if we needed anything.
Animation, pool and snack bar staff were great. You get better service if you tip - dollars is preferred. We got ignored if we didn't tip.
There is a shuttle bus that goes to the bigger sunrise Remal Beach next door and its worth going for fab beach and amazing reef to snorkle along (hire snorkle for 3 dollars per day). You can use the snack bar (but not restaurant) and beach bar here too.
We also used the Spa in the hotel and found it basic but great. Good value for money.
Food in the main restaurant was bog standard all inclusive fayre. I struggled as a vegetarian to always know what was in dishes but there was plenty of salad. My husband preferred eating in the snack bars to main restaurant. We attempted to book for the speciality restaurants but were never successful, saying all bookings were full but on the nights some of them looked half empty?
Entertainment was okay in evening, mostly dancing of some kind.
It was a nice weeks holiday in November for sunshine but I wouldn't rush back to this hotel.

Dear Valued Guest, We would like to thank you for submitting a review about our resort as it helps us evaluating and improving our quality of service. we are extremly disappointed that we have not met your expectations during your stay with us.We will address the negative comments to all concerned from Top Management to take the corrective action. we have started already to train our staff on hospitality rules and service quality regarding room cleanliness and in outlets as well. Regarding a la carte restaurant we book according the restaurant capacity that's why it is needed pre-reservation. We do hope to welcome you once more in Remal Resort. Best Regards, Hotel Management

Positives
Issue with room on arrival was dealt with very quickly
Rooms were cleaned daily and were spotless
Pool area was spotless and well maintained
Staff are a credit and can't do enough for you.
Food is good and is varied but the variety does tend to be the same for all meals.
Air con and wifi is brilliant

Negatives
like everywhere else hasn't got enough sunbeds.
Not enough seats in the communal areas for drinks in the evening
Hotel entertainment is poor and what there is is directed towards the Italians due to numbers from there
Nothing for children to do
Only 1 pool table, 1 ping pong table and 1 table tennis table on the whole resort
Touts for trips constantly walking round the pool areas, trying to get you to book.

Hotel management do want to know your opinion and ask guests during their stay what they think.
Off the back of our comments, we were invited to a meeting with the manager and animation team managers. We fed back our concerns and gave some ideas of how they could improve the situation very easily.
I only hope they do take on board what we said as currently I would not return and could not recommend it due to the points I have mentioned. They are very keen to get the British back travelling to Egypt as currently only 15% of the hotel guests were.
This hotel could be top notch and I wish them all the luck with it but until then, it's a no from me.

Good day.
We vacationed together, in Egypt and in Sharm for the first time. From 25.09 to 4.10.23
We arrived at the hotel at 5 p.m., were immediately greeted warmly, the concierge told us to wait in the lobby, and a few minutes later they brought us a glass of juice and a cold, wet towel for our face.
Check-in happened quickly.
Standard room overlooking the courtyard with lawn and palm trees. Big, clean, beautiful. The appearance of the furniture is not bad. Everything in the room is as usual - a wardrobe with shelves and hangers, a bedside table, a table with a mirror (there was a kettle there), a stand with a TV and a chest of drawers with several drawers.
There is a minibar (paid), there is also water in the refrigerator (free) and on the table with a mirror there was also water, tea, coffee, sugar.
Safe is free.
The air conditioner works well.
The hotel is not small and consists of 3-storey buildings connected by passages, with 2 swimming pools on the territory.
On site there is a main restaurant, 3 bars (one in the lobby, one in the pool and one near the pool).
The food is varied, of high quality, and there are dietary meals.
Lots of fruits, vegetables, salads, various meats, chicken, fish.
Friendly and respectful attitude of the staff, without preference for nationality.
Non-alcoholic drinks: diluted juices (powdered), cola, Sprite, Fanta, Schweppes, tea, coffee (from vending machines)
Alcohol: rum, whiskey, vodka, gin, wine (white and red).
There was live music in the lobby every evening.
We didn't go to the animation.
A bus runs to the beach every 5-8 minutes, you can walk in no more than 10 minutes.
The beach itself is sandy, there are enough sun loungers for everyone; to swim you need to walk along the pontoon. Sea, no shallows, just depth. The reef is right below you with various types of fish, the sea is warm. Corals are protected; you cannot walk, pick them up with your hands, or break them. Very beautiful, varied in color and structure.
There is a bar right next to the pontoon launch.
Wi-Fi is free in the hotel and on the beach, good.
On the shore there is a 5-star hotel of the same chain, you can use the bars and swimming pools of this hotel.
We really enjoyed.

The hotel was in mid-October 2024. All in all, a normal four. At the same time, the reef is A-plus, the fish are awesome, and big. The pier is convenient to go in, you don't have to go far. At the beach bar, local drinks are poured from bottles, even coffee and cappuccinos. The bar is located on the “second floor of the beach”, the space must be occupied early in the morning, otherwise only downstairs, away from the entrance to the pier. The hotel has good food, you make omelets, pancakes in the morning. Surprised at lunch and at the start of dinner, the line on the stairs to enter the restaurant. The restaurant itself is problematic to find a table, crowded and seated. The waiter has only brought a drink to dinner once in the entire time, but you can get your own drinks at the restaurant bar. Considering the number of campers, dishes are washed mediocrely, at the very beginning of lunch and dinner dishes are clean, but then... With the quality of dishwashing, it's easy to catch a viral infection, which we paired up. The fruit served melon, grapes, orange, banana, pomegranate and dates were. There were more than enough sweets. To our surprise, there was no watermelon and mango. At the same time, last spring, the hotel located in a nearby bay had both watermelons and mangoes. Several times have been electronically recorded in a la carte restaurants, Arabic and Indian. Restaurants were treated to delicious red dry, the menu order that is supposed to be in a la carte is actually not available. In an Indian restaurant, you had to wait thirty minutes for a waiter to order. The hotel is located not far from the airport, to Soho Square in the evening walk 23-30 min. The room itself is normal, tired in places, bed linen in places with reels, changed on demand, the mattress is good. The room has a tea set and a safe, convenient. Free WiFi is available on site. He drives a bus from the hotel to the beach, runs quite often. There is no disco in the hotel. If you check out late, you can extend your stay for every 4 hours. We went on an excursion to the Ras Mohammad Reserve, a yacht trip with berths in different places of the Reserve. We took this excursion from the hotel guide, the price of it turned out to be many times inflated, on the beach it was possible to take such an excursion cheaper, the port of departure for the excursion is one, the yachts are all approximately the same, in one place are driven. What's strange is that a beloved friend had her jacket in her closet in her room from the first day she arrived at the hotel, so she smelled like something extremely unpleasant that she couldn't stand. I had to throw away my jacket, bought her another one.

I wish we could have stayed longer! The weather was wonderful! Bright sun, blue skies, warm seas and overall the resort was a haven of peace. Highlights definitely included the courteous staff who quickly learnt our tea, coffee, mocktail and cocktail preferences. The hotel is set in well-maintained gardens and the walk to the private sandy beach is gentle, although a shuttle bus is also available. On your way, look out for distinctive birds such as the Egyptian Egret and the Hoopoe. The hotel is well designed to provided multiple pathways so you can always find a peaceful route to walk. The archways and many courtyards also ensure breeze is always circulating. We stayed during Cop-27 so I do not know what it is like ordinarily, but we would like to find out. We hope to return next year.

Firstly, for some reason they write that the hotel is “fresh”, in 2021, it doesn’t look like it. The room was mega family, large, 2 rooms. Each has its own TV and minibar. Upon arrival, one minibar did not work and was not filled. The bar was changed 3 times, but it never worked and was not replenished. There was also a burst toilet tank. They changed it after the tenth request, thanks to Angelica, the girl from Guest Relations.
In terms of food: you won’t go hungry, the variety is not great, but everything is delicious. If you arrive at the wrong time for the meal, you may be left without some dishes. You can have dinner from 22.30 to 00.00, very convenient if you return from an excursion after the main dinner is over, especially with children. If you take drinks, it is better to use disposable containers, otherwise they may be poured into unwashed ones. The tables are also not wiped down very much, and napkins are an eternal problem, in general, depending on your luck. Beach (territory of the SUNRISE Remal Beach Resort): in principle, you can always find a place, although the sun loungers are “dead”. From 12.00 to 17.00 at the snack bar on the beach or by the pool (at the hotel), you can get fast food, but it’s bad that you can’t take the same French fries with you to the sunbeds, you can only eat at the bar. But the most trashy thing is that there is a global restructuring of the 5* hotel on whose territory the beach is located. Rotary hammers, jackhammers, hydraulic hammers, in general, not very pleasant.
Sea!!! Sea class! The coral reef is alive, so the pleasure of snorkeling is great.
