The location of the hotel was very close to a shopping destination where we could find McDonald's and many other food outlets. The food buffet served was tasty and extremely generous. The experience at ilmercato definitely met my expectations and was a great trip.

They had shows every evening. Mr. and Mrs. Il-Mercato, music-live and recorded. Lots of Russian and eastern, but also western and Egyptian (Arabic). Dinners had themes too, including Eastern. In my opinion, they worked hard to accommodate their wide diversity of guests. More important, if they did not give what you expected, you were able to make requests at reception and be sure your request would be welcomed, and your wish provided for.
