When we finally arrived after a 2 hour transfer from the airport we were pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel. Right on a beach which cannot be reached by boat due to the coral reef. Felt safe for the kids to swim in the bay.
Lots of free water sports and entertainment all bookable via their free app. The WiFi was quite good as it was free, not fast enough to download films, but good enough for SM and news.
Food was excellent. Especially breakfast with tonnes of choice and many healthy options.
The kids loved the ice cream from the Whippy machines where you help yourself. It’s more like sorbet, but still delicious and varied.
We didn’t get involved with evening entertainment as our kids are small. But daytime stuff looked good.
All pools & beach have lifeguards on duty in the day.
You can hire masks and flippers to try snorkelling along the coral reef. The local dive school are great for more adventurous folk.
We loved the varied food on offer at all the different outlets, if you get bored just try a different pool or beach bar and you may find something you like more.
My only complaint would be the trip we were sold by the rep was sold as ‘a 30 minute transfer to the marina’ when in fact it took close to 2 hours and cut down our time on the water. The trip was fine and the boat excellent quality, however if we’d known we needed such a long transfer, we wouldn’t have bothered.
Also, we had a lovely massage in the spa at the hotel on the first day. When we came back we found the amount we’d been charged was much more than we’d been quoted by the pool, so just check your receipt and what currency you’re paying for things with.

We came here December 13th for 2 weeks we could not fault it at all the check in was quick we was in room 141215 we could see the pool with the slides and a slight sea view we was very happy with the room and Mohammed the boy who cleaned our room was very pleasant,the food we could not fault there was so much choice and lots of bars to get a drink at any time ,all the staff were very pleasant and the hotel should be proud of them my husband done most of the water sports and got his windsurfing license so thank you to the water sports team . You must do snorkelling of the jetty it is fantastic saw so many different fish some very large and on the day before we came home a dolphin came in to the end of the jetty it was amazing. Check out was easy and not only did they have a luggage room they had a locker you could put your hand luggage in with important documents in so as our flight was late we could just have the day as we would fave normally. We done the outdoor cinema which was fun , I could carry on and on but I won’t we had a fantastic time and hope to go back again the same time this year . Just one thing yes the security was very strict at hurgharda airport but it is only for our safety .

Beautiful clean hotel, excellent food and wonderful opportunity to explore the reef. Snorkels are provided but worth bringing a wet suit if you want to spend an extended time in the water. Tennis lessons with Arter were great and staff acomodating. Plenty of activities zumba, trampolining, aerobic classes etc...Hassan and Ahmed gave us morning coffee and sun downers in the evening with great humour. Lovely terrace with sofa seating for coffee or drinks any time of day. It would be worth bringing a fleece or warmer clothes for the evening as a bit blowy in February, temperature in the day was fantastic for some winter sun. Beach lagoon is wonderful for sunbathing with windbreakers provided and sunshine every day. The hotel has thought of everything to cator for its guests and we will be returning. We moved room due to noisy guests above our room and the hotel was quick to move us to a top floor location. We were very satisfied with their service to help. Thank you kalawy!

Stayed during 14/2 to 21/2. We stayed over two rooms, one being a family room which was of an excellent size for two adults and two children 12 &7. The room was kept spotlessly clean and tea/coffee/ water and milk replenished often. The gardens were beautiful and well maintained. The hotel is lovely and areas to sit are comfortable. All the staff work very hard and are very polite. The buffet restaurant was great with tons of choice and the standard excellent. The highlight was a visit to the A La Carte restaurant La Bocia - the service and food was amazing. There are plenty of activities to do, you can be as lazy or as active as you want. We spent a lot of time on the beach, the beach staff once again fabulous - helping with towels and getting us sunbeds together along with attentive bar staff on the beach. Being able to have a go at canoeing and paddle boards was fun. All in all an amazing week stay, we all enjoyed it from the kids to grandparent. This probably has been the best holiday and all being well will hopefully return in the summer season next year. Thank you to everyone at the resort for making our holiday !!!

Lovely hotel, 90 minutes from Hurghada airport but worth the travel time. Remote hotel but if has everything to offer. 4 speciality restaurants (1 payable) and main buffet is very good. Lots of chefs replenishing dishes fresh at individual cooking stations, so food not left out for long periods. Lots of choice and good service from waiting staff in clearing tables, providing drinks etc. Lots of pools and bars with good selection of drinks and speciality coffees, we particularly enjoyed Ameratto Cappuccinos. Rooms nice, good housekeeping services and nice birthday surprise. COVID safe with temperatures taken on entry to restaurants and hands sprayed on every occasion. Lots of hand sanitizing stations and individually wrapped masks if needed. ALL staff wore masks both indoor and outdoor but only required of guests indoors. MAGIC DIVERS based in the hotel is excellent. Friendly helpful staff, house reef at end of jetty and zodiac and boat trips available. Note medical certificate is required for diving, can have health check at hotel clinic with certificate for €20 if you don't have a recent certificate. Free use of wind surfing equipment, paddle boarding and kayaking on safe lagoon at hotel. We used kayaks and did paddle boarding for the 1st time - great fun.

Have a couple of days left of a 14 day holiday here, so this is an honest review whilst the holiday is fresh in my mind.
Firstly the hotel itself is great, the grounds are immaculate, staff are friendly and work hard, rooms and areas are kept clean. The lagoon and reef amazing.
Positives: As well as mentioned above, guest services above and beyond. We had people with mobility issues, we were given ground floor apartments close to amenities. 7 days into our holiday my disabled aunt was just having a conversation with a member of staff, they asked her what else they could do to make her stay easier. She mentioned a hand rail in her shower and toilet. By the time we returned from the pool that day they had installed rails in both her rooms. That's amazing! Breakfast has great choices and lunch are fine, pool bars are good with a selection of nuggets, fries, burger, hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, cakes etc. No issues getting pool beds. Free canoeing and paddle boards in lagoon. Wunderbar a nice 24hr bar. Coffee & cake shop in the afternoon is a nice touch offering better quality drinks and cakes. Rooms are spacious and well cleaned daily.
Room for improvement: Evening meals are a real disappointment. There lots of quantity but the quality is lacking. Meats are tough, and it does not vary enough. Also the only all inclusive we've been too without a children's evening section? We used to get the children food at approx 5pm from pool bar as they didn't eat in the evening. We were a group of ten and none of us enjoyed the evening foods, similar comments made by other families. Also the atmosphere in the restaurant in the evening was not great maybe as a result of the food. Because the evening food was not great you realise that you are isolated due to location. Would be nice to be able to go outside the hotel to a restaurant. I think the evening restaurant needs attention. I would also consider leaving the main pool bar open until 10pm and put seating out. Otherwise you have no food available from 6pm if you do not like the evening restaurant. As we were a group we could not get a booking at any a le carte we tried via the app and reception so that was disappointing.
Entertainment team are very active and friendly but the evening entertainment is average. We've seen better, we've seen worst.
Overall you would have a great holiday here if you chose to visit. Unfortunately the evening restaurant would stop us returning here, and we will now look to book Sharm El Sheikh again for our next and 4th visit to Egypt. We love Egypt.

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to this hotel and this time travelled as a group of 8. Our last visit was just before covid and we were looking forward to returning. Overall we had a good stay but as a returning guest I could clearly see some differences and things that meant where I have always previously rated the hotel 5/5 I now believe it to be still good but 4/5. We were placed in block 10 and on arrival whereas normally you are shown to your room, the guy just pointed in a direction and said your over there, we hadn’t stayed in this block before so didn’t know the way and it was pitch black. On entering the room the walkway had no lights and our safe wouldn’t work, after a trip to reception this was rectified. It was really disappointing that on trying to book the a la carte restaurants for our stay we were advised that all were fully booked and we couldn’t use them. This isn’t really acceptable as this is part of the package and we tried to book the morning after arrival it wasn’t like we left it till later in our stay! I found the reception team rather abrupt and the guys in the main restaurant weren’t up to scratch, took us ages to get a drink a lot of the time. The hotel is clean throughout and please note for any uk guests they are still insisting on masks in all indoor areas. The pool areas were great as was the service during the day around the pool. The pool party was a great addition and really good fun. I’ve always insisted that this hotel is worth the transfer time but with the changes I’ve seen I’m not sure it really is now, there are better closer to the airport hotels. It was a fun holiday with friends, a few tweaks would make it perfect again!

As many people I miss going on holidays during the pandemic and decided for this hotel after reading about their safety measures. I went right before christmas so I was extra careful as not to be in quarantine during the holidays. These things where promised:
Food will be served by staff so no guests touch your food in the buffet. Lie, everyone had to take their own food with a setup that forced you to go directly above the food with your face to reach other foodstuff in the back of the table.
There would be temperature checks before going to the meals. Trick-Rule: These checks where optional and also performed by taking the temperature of the hands to prevent the staff from actually finding cases. This method was used to not have any coona cases in the hotel.
Social distancing was said to be enforced. There where lines nobody (staff or guests) followed and they looked like put on the ground randomly. If there was a concept how to use them I (and everyone else) did not undertand them.
Just as a bottom note, the hotel itself was nice for a club hotel. The rooms where quite old (1970s) and could use refurbishing / repairs but where adequat.

Spent a week here in January and we were not disappointed with our choice. The main draw for us was the full programme of sports activities. We did: nordic walking, underwater spinning, regular spinning, aqua aerobics, kayaking, archery, trampolining, kangoo jumps, snorkeling, table tennis, stand up paddle, going down waterslides and plain old swimming in the heated pool.
The food was varied and tasty. We enjoyed the outdoor cinema with blankets and the resort was generally spotless and clean. We would return again and hope to have as good an experience at a busier time of year.
The only gripe was that on the nordic walk, which was hiking over sand dunes with poles for 60mins one way before a break and 60mins back. The instructor didnt keep the group together, she left me behind and was 150metres ahead on the way out. I was struggling in the dunes alone and couldnt see where the group had got to. Caught up with the group on the break and on the way back there was 200m between those at the front and back (in a small group of 12 or so). The leader ought to keep the group together as otherwise it's not safe and not a group activity. In sum: this is a tough hike over sand dunes with poles and is for the very fit (at least it was at the pace the group went at) and took much longer than the advertised time.

Wow, where to start, this little gem may be in the middle of nowhere, but once inside, you'd never know. There is so much to do, even in 2wks we didn't manage it all. The staff at the slide pool are an absolute asset to the hotel. Mohamed Abdou & Kareeen Salah love these guys as well as all of the staff and Abdullah the lifeguard at the slide pool. The gardens are beautifully maintained, with respect to the men that tender them every day. We didn't prebook our room, figured we'd take a chance, we arrived at night, and our view was of the gardens and slide pool, much to our delight in the morning we also had a sea view, we were in room 22105, 1 bedroom family room, for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, plenty of room for us. Hany Elsayed serviced our room daily. He's such a beautifully respectful person who would greet us with a smile every day and does amazing displays with the towels. It was our wedding anniversary when we were there and our room was made to look lovely. We ate mainly in the main restaurant and omg the food there is some of best I've had, plentiful, fresh, varied and displayed so beautifully, catering for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free, as well all ingredients listed so to know what to avoid if you suffer with allergies. All the staff in the restaurant look professional and are so friendly. We went to the beach just once when we were there, lovely with great scenery.... just remember to take sea shoes and the sand is sharp. We used the Egyptian and Italian restaurants, and the food was incredible in both. The shops in the hotel have lots of things to buy but can be expensive due to the location, we used the pharmacy a few times, and he was helpful and informative, I didn't think the pharmacy was overly expensive. My children rode camels organised by Alex, they had a great time and were looked after all the way by the staff. I used the spa also, it was so lovely, Ahmed arranged everything and felt totally pampered. There is plenty on Evening entertainment if you like or just relax by the Wunderbar, again the staff there are amazing and work so hard. We did some trips there too, Tui organised dune buggies, it was so much fun and Sunny organised the submarine boat trip, both were great and worth every penny. I would highly recommend this hotel and would return without a second thought. The best times we had were with the staff around the slide pool, great great guys and atmosphere. The sunrise in the morning is spectacular and so peaceful, I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of dolphins too. My only 1 criticism is that some music is needed by the slide pool, it's a noisy pool that needs some entertainment too
