I stayed at Lotus Bay for 2 weeks in February 2022 - it was my 7th holiday at this hotel, sometimes with my wife and sometimes on my own. I love this place. it is so friendly and in a superb location on a sandy beach and gently sloping sea. It doesn't boast a lot of facilities but the gardens are beautiful and most of the rooms have lovely views. The service and helpful attitude of all the staff is outstanding. Very few people seem to go there from the UK - most guests seem to come from Germany or Eastern Europe. I can understand some of the negative views - the hotel is not plush by western standards, but everything else more than makes up for it. There is also a lovely beach bar, perfect for just relaxing.

Warring XXX Lotus Bay is little Paradise but many people don’t deserve to be working there!! Nemo the guy from the aqua center as we thought but it’s coming later he works with everything and anything any people need We help many people there a lot because they don’t have enough money from hotel and we was always happy to be there but not after we asked about our money back from Nemo!! We thought he is our friend even we was doing everything with him from Safarai,Cairo,Luxor, and Diving too .. He was asking for many help and we lent him some money but it’s a lot we just asked for some money back not all but just coming a lot of bad ward back to us and some of his friends start to contact us and threats us and telling us if we coming back to this place again they will make a lot of stress for our family we get really Surprised from what they tell. Because he always give money for everyone working in the hotel even they tell us they give the Manager of the hotel extra money every month and no one can help us!! We really sorry for our lovely hotel but we hope that we help other people be away from that kind of person and not making our mistakes

The rooms were good, the beach is beautiful, but the best facility here is the bars. Here's to Ammar " the artist", Eslam and Hesham the most creative bartenders. On the other hand the alcohol were cheap, and of low quality. The bartenders had to make efforts to make drinkable cocktails. Overall it was a good experience.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful holiday with my kids. I loved this place. Animation team was very friendly and so cute, my son had fallen in love with them. 😂 The food was absolutely fantastic. I mean it. I really appreciated the effort all the staff makes every day for us, the clients. Loved the garden and the beach. All the work what needs to be done for us feeling so great in this place. I am definitely coming back... 🙏

I stayed at Lotus Bay resort, Safaga, Red sea, Egypt from February 26th 2020 to 4th March 2020. It was a wonderful and relaxing holiday. The hotel rooms have sea views and the staff is most accommodating. The hotel was spotless. The weather was beautiful – hot sunshine every day with temperature of 28 degrees. They have a number of activities like snorkeling, diving and trips to Luxor. A big thank you to the chef as the food was simply amazing. 3 meals a day with an array of dishes especially salads, fresh fruits and sweets. And another big thank you to the Manager Mr Khalin who is ready to trouble shoot any issue one might have. This was hospitality at its best. Last but not least, my holiday was complete with TIGER the resident cat. Thank you so much.

I stayed at Lotus Bay Beach Resort for a week in March 2020. Amzazing resort and garden, loveIy beach, nice room! The food was decent (not the best food in the world but decent). I really enjoyed the familiar atmosphere at the resort. The staff was friendly and the animation team (Shams and Moody) made my stay very pleasant. It's a holiday to remember and I will definitely come back to Lotus Bay as soon as I can :-)

My room was reasonably clean, though dark as it was set back between a room protruding on either side. The towels and linen were clean but worn. TV was a museum piece, there was plenty of storage space, balcony was ok though the plaster surrounding was crumbling. Bathroom was acceptable though no hair dryer and a rather clingy plastic shower curtain. Old fashioned key lock to door and balcony doors difficult to close. Pool looked ok, plenty of plastic sun beds but lots of crows and crow droppings around due to bins not emptied regularly, crows are scavengers and will always find food here. Pool bar ok and a few little shops next to it. Beach could be beautiful but lots of cigarette buts around and not much respect for the coral some boats even moored around it. Beach bar is lovely with a wonderful Mr Yasser who is the best staff member here. Restaurant a bit chaotic much like a canteen but the food on the whole was good especially breakfast. I would not return though I had a nice time due to the friendliness of some staff and most guests. With a bit of good management this could be a four star but at the moment I don't know how they have any more than three.
