This is a small cozy hotel located directly on the beach. It is located in a remote area far from the big cities, so don't expect a promenade and street stalls. However, the remoteness of the location gives the hotel its charm and the hotel has everything you need.
The journey from the airport took approximately 50 minutes and there are no places to see or attractions in the vicinity of the hotel, except for a few small souvenir shops. However, the very surroundings of the hotel give a person a pleasantly soothing feeling of relaxation. The beach is sandy and clean, with a gradual but limited entry into the water due to the corals, of which there were really many. It is a place suitable for snorkeling. Beach chairs with mattresses and towels are offered free of charge.
Most hotels are oriented with a sea view, but our room (for less money) was without a sea view. Nevertheless, the room was always clean and tidy, with functional equipment and no fault was found for our requirements. Perhaps only except for locking the main door, which was an occasional problem, but we took it with humor.
Except for the often confused staff at the reception, we had absolutely no problems with the local staff. On the contrary. These are very nice and helpful people who value their work and will do everything in their power for you without requiring bakshish. We have very pleasant memories of these people. It was also very nice to see that the hotel owner himself very often personally goes around all the visitors to the hotel asking if everything is in order and gladly listened to any complaint or comment. In any case, we would like to use this review to appeal to the hotel owner to provide his staff, PLEASE, regularly with new shoes, as they will really spend the whole day in these shoes. He deserves it! It was a shock to watch the waiters with crumbling or too worn shoes in which they had to spend the whole day. PLEASE!
As we are not demanding about the food, we were very satisfied with the choice of food. It did not happen to us that we had the same food for the whole holiday or that the food offered was eaten. From a large selection of vegetables, main course to desserts, one has always been able to choose. also soups were every day to choose from. Iced drinks, coffee and tea were offered for drinks. There was also the possibility of choosing alcoholic mixed drinks, beer or wine. There are two outdoor bars on the beach, where you can also order pizza.
The resort of the hotel is rather relaxing, but there are also distraction activities. There is a small swimming pool, fitness center, massages, pedicures, manicures, beauty salon, beach volleyball, chess, petanque, but also activities offered by local tour operators such as sightseeing, snorkeling boat trips to coral reefs, diving and more .. .

First time definitely won't be our last! Gorgeous beach, excellent hotel and friendly staff that go above and beyond. Exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived, it was a sad day when we had to check out and fly back home. Rooms are very spacious, the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The rooms are well sound proofed, so you don't get disturbed by your neighbours (unless you have an adjoining room, you may hear them through the door) There was plenty enough food choice at meal times, to find something you like and not go hungry. I enjoyed everything! The staff are polite, kind and friendly and as it's a smaller hotel, they remember things like your name, favourite drink and how you like your omelette at breakfast. It is personal touches like that, which help you relax and enjoy your holiday even more so. I celebrated my birthday whilst away, they printed a birthday note and surprised me with a birthday cake in my room! It was an amazing surprise and something I will never forget. The only negative is paying for WiFi but to be honest many hotels charge, so it's not uncommon and I paid it anyway. There wasn't any ice cream (I didn't find it) so if you like your sweet snack in the afternoon, you might be disappointed compared to some other resorts. It's a quiet, rest and relaxation resort, so worth keeping in mind.

V hotelu jsme byli týden a bylo to opravdu skvělé. Pokud chcete hotel, kde si odpočinete a nemusíte nic řešit a zároveň máte někdy náladu si zatancovat nebo pobavit se, je to pro vás to pravé místo. Animační programy zde byly každý večer, vždy se něco dělo, ale po 10 hodině večer se již zábava přesunula do jiných prostor v hotelu a tím pádem nerušila ostatní hosty. Moře krásné čisté, plné korálů a života. Viděli jsme želvu, trnuchy a “miliardu” dalších rybiček :) na šnorchlování je to ideální. Pokoj byl opravdu krásný, čistý, denně uklizený, koupelna prostorná a moderní, výhled na bazén a moře. Denně láhev vody, káva, čaj na pokoji. Nádhera :) hotelový personál byl velice ochotný, milý a někteří uměli dokonce i krásně česky. Jinak umí anglicky, německy a rusky. Určitě tento hotel doporučuji, my se sem zase vrátíme :)
I was there for a week and it was really great. This hotel is perfect for you, if you want to relax or if you want to have fun :) There were animation programmes every night, but it moved to other place in hotel after 10 pm, so the rest of guests could sleep. Beach is clean, the sea is really beautiful, full of corals and life. We saw turtles and plenty of fish. It’s perfect for snorkelling. The room was very comfy, clean, modern, bathroom was also very clean, spacious.. we had everyday room service, fresh water, coffee, tea.. :) the hotel stuff is very polite, friendly and willing to help :) I’d totally recommend this hotel, we’ll be back again! :)

Hi there, my husband & I traveled from frankfurt to Egypt end of the January 2022 for 2 weeks. First week Nile kruz and second week we stayed in Coral sun Beach hotel. We had a great time in Hotel, the staff there are amazing they are friendly, nice and open.
1. the best highlit there is the beach, it is a coral beach with very beutiful fishes. we could easily bath there and watch the beautiful colerful fishes. However there were some plastic bages left in the water, unfortunatly.
2. Second amazing part is Animation team, they are so nice and active and frindly, Dan & Bibo, we had a lot of activity with them. Morning streching in sunshin, light music at beach, afternoon beach vollybal which was so good and we enjoyed it a lot. Dancing, chess playing and many other activities which was wonderful. Ofcourse we were looking for the hotel which be in the quite area but without Animation grup the activity would be missing for us. I aprecite Animation guys there they made a great time for us there, defenetly great enterteiments and plesure for us.
3. kitchen staff provided us very tasty, healthy food, a lot of local vegatables that keep us fit during resident time. beside that there were so helpful & kind and friendly. 4. reception also very helpful and kind they provied us the very good room 5. furmacy there is a bit expensive, i got a pacage of 10 sanitary pads for 10 euro which i found expensive. 6. environmet so clean, calm and great. at the end i think the star of the hotel does not play a big rool, it is important how do you feel comfortable during the residancy. i would like to say my special hanks to animation group in coral sun beach hotel specialy Dan & Bibo, you made a wounderful and fun time for us there. we loved whole activity ecpecially beach volybal and Indian dancing. i would like to thank Coral sun beach hotel staff, kitchen and restaurant team, housekeeping staff members, front desk employees, and the staff who made our resistance there pleauser.

If you, like us, have been to Egypt over 20 times, you don't really need the hustle and bustle, the noise and the annoying bazaars of Hurghada or Sharm el Sheik. A week of peace and quiet is enough, and this is just the place for you. The small hotel complex had an almost family atmosphere, no party crowd and no Russian guests who like to drink. The staff were always polite and friendly, and the entertainment was pleasant and not too intrusive. The beautiful house reef for snorkeling is worth mentioning, and is more than enough for amateur snorkelers. If you still have something to complain about here about minor things that can be ignored (food, older room furniture...), you should just stay at home, especially in January when it's snowing and raining. We will definitely be coming here for the sun for a third time at the end of the year.

This was my fourth visit to this wonderful hotel. Everyone is made to feel welcome. The staff work very hard to cater for the customers needs and are always attentive and courteous. They are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the beach is lovely with ample sun loungers and the pool is very clean. Relaxation is the order of the day for me personally, but if you are feeling energetic there is volleyball, darts petanque and a gym. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you to Mr Francis and his fabulous staff.

A hotel that makes itself very popular. The complex itself is great, the beach is always super clean and the boys on the beach are super nice. The food is a disaster, only the Italian restaurant on the beach is OK, the all-inclusive restaurant is awful, we have been traveling to Egypt twice a year for over twenty years, but we have never had anything like this before. The towels in the rooms look worse than floor rags, which is disgusting, my husband had a 30cm long tear in his bed linen, we wouldn't even have let our dog sleep on a rag like that, you can save a hotel to death. In the lobby, where the bar is, the air conditioning is set so cold that you don't stay there too long before you even think about having a drink. Accordingly, the guests had bad colds and many had coughs. In the hotel pharmacy we paid €58 for cough syrup and ten lozenges. You can't buy anything in the hotel shops, they're totally overpriced, a liter of juice in a Tetra Pak costs €5, but when Egyptians hear the word "Euro" they go completely crazy. On the other hand, nothing works without a good tip. It's a shame that this hotel has such a bad manager.

The hotel welcomed us to a pleasant and cosy lobby, which was connected to the reception, bar and several shops. The lobby staff were very friendly and helpful, which made for a good first impression.
The dining room was smaller, but there was always plenty of room and we never had to wait for a table. The choice of food might not be too wide for some, but it was definitely enough. Every dish we tried was delicious and we always went home satisfied.
Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed with the condition of the room. On arrival, we were told at reception that our room would not have a sea view, which we accepted as we were opting for a cheaper last minute holiday. But what bothered us was the lack of cleanliness in the room - the curtains were dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. In addition, the second room we had had a water leak from the ceiling in the bathroom. However, after reporting these issues to the front desk, both problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Our initial disappointment with the room was compensated for by the excellent location - we were close to the beach, pool, dining room and reception. The beach is literally a few steps away from the hotel and offers a gradual entry into the sea and fantastic snorkelling. A living coral reef with colourful fish and sea turtles was an unforgettable experience. In addition, the small size of the hotel meant that the beach was quiet and not overcrowded.
All in all, despite the initial inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the helpful and friendly staff who always went out of their way to help us. We would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a quiet place with great access to the sea and a relaxing atmosphere.

Nice welcome, qualified and always smiling staff. The room was spacious and bright. The cleanliness in general was impeccable. Despite a seaside environment, I was really struck by seeing that there wasn't a minimum of sand along the corridors to reach the rooms, as well as along the common areas. Congratulations to the whole team who, with their work, makes all this possible. It was a beautiful holiday with a Coral Reef full of variety.
