“Ashes on my head!” as Tom the dive shop manager once said to us (and it made me smile). The reason I need ashes on my head is that this review is long long overdue – in fact I am having to fib in order to post it at all as we actually stayed at Coral Garden Safaga in November...

If you are looking for a small and quiet hotel, this resort is for you. Located far from the big cities and from other hotels (just one on the other side of the beach but far enough). The rooms are clean and the staff is good. Recommended if you like diving! (just one negative note: the wi-fi is available only...

We stayed for two nights at the Coral Gardens. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The manager tried to help find a part for my motorbike despite it being a holiday. Everything is clean and well presented, and the location is quiet and beautiful. Food was good. We went for two dives, and the coral and fish-life is in good...

We were on a cruise, and had one day in Safaga. With a choice of 9 hours in a bus to see the” Valley of the kings” etc or a relaxing day on the beach. We decided on the beach, and found “Coral Garden Resort and Dive Centre on the internet. Having explained our situation, “Sonja” was extremely helpful, and...

We have holidayed in Egypt on many occasions but this was certainly one of the most laid back, chill out locations, set on a beautiful sheltered bay. Live coral house reef on both sides of the bay are teeming with life. If you stay here, you must at least try the snorkeling. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff really...

The hotel (approx 40 rooms - twin bed) has been newly renovated and refurbished and the management is still working hard to make the place even better. The hotel is run by a South African who is fluently in a couple of languages, the staff is Egyptian and do speak English and some words in other languages as well. Guests...

We have been in the Coral Garden the 2nd time because we like the quiet and familiar atmosphere there very much. The bungalows are big and clean. The hotel manager is a South African who speaks fluently English and German. If the guests have special wishes he makes them happen in a short time (as fast as possible). The stuff...

We spend 3 nights at the coral garden before a dive safari. The hotel is run by Germans so all the personal speak German and few English words. The rooms are little bungalows attached to each other. They are quite big but the main window gives view on the terrace of the neighbours! You don't get a feeling of intimacy!...

I've never stayed at this hotel overnight, but we usually go at least once for a daytrip when we go to Safaga. Coral Garden has a really nice beach and the hotel looks pretty from the outside. They have a large house reef, so it's great for scuba diving and snorkeling. If you like to go out at night to...
