Fort Arabesque Resort, Spa, & Villas promises tranquility and opulence with its 444 luxurious rooms, suites, private apartments and 14 newly built villas. Four dining venues, five swimming pools, including a children's pool (three of which are heated), a state-of-the-art gym, world-class Thai-managed Spa and sports facilities as well as I-Dive, a five-star IDC PADI dive center, guarantee a fun and unforgettable hotel experience. Inspired by the Sardinian roots of its architects, Fort Arabesque Resort & Spa combines distinctive Italian and Arabic accents in its architecture, from its imposing medieval fort structure to its interior touches and décor, where the different shades of Egyptian cave stones from Aswan blend with the antique fine wood furnishings of oriental designs. We would like to introduce our new concept as well, which is unique in Egypt. Nestled within the Fort Arabesque resort, The Villas offer its guests luxurious accommodation, space and privacy in addition to a more personal and dedicated service. Each of the 14 Villas (8 units with 1 bedroom + 1 bathroom, 6 units with 2 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms) is tastefully decorated to reflect the mix of Arabic accents and Mediterranean influences of the Fort Arabesque Resort. All units have private garden and terrace with private access to a secluded swimming pool exclusive to The Villas. To ensure a fast and efficient service, the check-in is done through a private reception. The residents also have access to the Pavilion which is a private lounge where the villa guests can enjoy a semi-served upgraded breakfast in the morning. For lunch and dinner time the Pavilion functions as an A’la Carte Restaurant, giving the opportunity to enjoy a fine dining experience. The extra benefits of the Villa Guests include free Wi-Fi, free Gym usage and various discounts in the different outlets of the hotel. Guests at The Villas are free to use all the facilities and enjoy the same ‘all inclusive’ benefits at the resort with quick access to the main restaurant and the beach as well.

I recently stayed here from 24/06/22 - 01/06/22 , from start to finish the staff were nothing but helpful nothing was too much hassle , We stayed in one of the new rooms on the west bay and it was lovely , beds were comfy and facilities were great , we frequently visited the buffet in the west bay as we found it was nicer than the main buffet although they were both nice there was plenty of variety and the food was great . I would highly recommend the pizza and pasta restaurant the staff there were so lovely making us bruschetta and cocktails which were really nice I would recommend asking for the watermelon cocktail at the pizza and pasta bar nicest cocktail I’ve ever had . The beach was beautiful and clean and the corals were amazing with beautiful fish , ice cream and bottled water was always available and there was plenty of sunbeds both round the pool and on the beach . I would also recommend club 159 past 10 pm as they have great music with live singers and cocktails this is open till around 1 am and it was a great place . I would also recommend the quad bikes and a visit to orange bay .

If we knew we had to pay sunbeds,we would not come. The stuff on the beach told us to pay 80 eur for 10 days,or to move on the other side of beach bar. So,I was waking up at 5 o’clock to put towels on the rest of that big part to the beach bar, because they gave you some 10% from Club 150- beach bar to try to find some free sunbed.Everything else ih hotel was exellent.

I have been in this hotel a short while ago. I was very disappointed .. apart from the beautiful beach the rest is to be forgotten. Even the beauty center gave me a massage on the beach. I still have back pain. Poor quality food and poor hygiene everywhere.

I have just returned from Fort Arabesque where I spent 2 weeks all inclusive in a standard room. Both my husband and I have done substantial independent travelling over the past few years and we have never had problems with food hygiene anywhere in the world. My husband was sick on 3 separate days with fever and severe diohhrea. I also had fever and diohhrea on 2 different days. This was due to the poor hygiene in the preparation of the food and drinks. The bar staff use tap water ( which you are advised not to drink ) for rinsing out the glasses in the beach bars and the salads are washed in tap water too. We switched to using paper cups but even then the food made us very ill. In the second week of our stay some Egyptian officials arrived to take food samples away from the buffet and the salad bar. So there are many people getting sick from the food at Fort Arabesque and it’s being reported to Egyptian health departments. To top it off on our final day someone entered our room and helped themselves to our equipment in the locked safe. So we found out at about 4 pm and our transfer from the hotel was booked at 5.50pm leaving us no time to sort the matter out. I reported all of the above incidents to the Guest Services Manager and the reception staff but they refused to cooperate and wouldn’t even write a note for our insurance claim. Stating they had no evidence we had these items when we came to their hotel. I’ve never been so disgusted in my life with the attitude of the management team. They said they would call the police but never did and told me the police would take 2 days to investigate and as this was our last day that wouldn’t be possible. I told them to call the police anyway but they didn’t. I have been to Fort Arabesque on 4 occasions before but will never return again to this dirty, unhygienic and frankly disgusting hotel run by staff with the most appalling attitude to problems created by them . If you value your family’s health or your personal possessions try somewhere else.

Our 4th time, we love it here & hope to go back next year. We don’t really rate the food, good cakes though! As we have a child we couldn’t use the other restaurants at dinner time so was limited to the main restaurant, the breakfast is good though, nice tea, the staff work really hard and were usually very helpful. We reserved our sun beds, paid £50 or so, the beach boys put a reserved ticket on the umbrella, (day 4) only for someone to take it off and use our sun beds, we’re not snobby and wanted this spot to be near the toilets and bar, my husband is waiting for an op on his knees so couldn’t walk far, next day the same thing happened again, they didn’t even take the reserved ticket off, but the man in charge was going to remove these people but we said not to because we didn’t want to cause any hassle especially as our daughter wanted to stay on the beds while we had a swim, we ended up right at the other end of the beach where my husband struggled to walk. I think it would be a good idea to have a fixed box to put the reserved notice in and a polite notice to say management reserve the right to remove people from paid for beds. Other than this we had a lovely holiday & our room was spacious and clean and very near the pool bar, I think that smoking should be banned from the pool around the bar as there are many children and who really needs a fag, drink and a swim?

We have been to 6 hotels in Egypt & I would rate this 5th as the one rated 6th you had to walk a distance to the beach. Main restaurant terrible, no mugs for breakfast, when you did get one it was chipped, I don't enjoy my morning cuppa in a cardboard cup. I know all inclusives can get very repetitive food wise but it was the same old everyday. Did not appear to cater for children, not a teaspoon in sight except for wooden ones. We usually went for dinner after 8 - the waiters were more interested in preparing the tables for breakfast the following morning, although the restaurant was open until 10pm. Poor drinks service. Like most others we were drawn to this hotel because of the reefs, I found it depressing the amount of dead reefs, the hotel should take more care in protecting this, a hotel down further has the reefs roped off, so no one could walk on it but could still swim/snorkel around. The reefs were ok, but I would suggest a hotel with a pier has the better corals/sea life. What annoyed me the most, was the sunbed situation, 1 st day was ok, but after that we had to move further down the beach daily to find a bed that hadn't been reserved, (50 euro per week or 8 euro per day) we even had the beach boys slap a reserved ticket on our beds and we were told that we couldn't use those particular ones next day. Back row beds available but then you have constant flow of diesel vans going backwards and forwards with rubbish/garden waste/towels, which didn't smell nice. Positives - the beach & pizza bars were great for lunch and the service was excellent as was the Lobby bar, perhaps the restaurant staff could learn something from them, we saw a restaurant manager shouting at younger staff and pushing them about, not something that you want to witness as you tuck into a cheese & tomato roll for dinner! Would we come back again? No. I cannot understand the high tripadviser ratings, as this did sway us with our choice of hotel.

We upgraded to a suite which was beautiful but was on the ground floor with no sea view and with no wi-fi. It is one of the brand new refurbished suites and the quality of the finish was superb. The bed was comfy, the sitting room was beautifully decorated, there was loads of wardrobe and drawer space for clothes and the bathroom was massive with a great shower. We did swap rooms for the sea view in the second week and the view was stunning but the room has not yet been refurbished so was a little bit tired. However, this was our choice and many thanks to the team for doing this for us, when the hotel was so busy. As we had upgraded, we had access to the 159 restaurant for meals which were outstanding and it was nice to be seated and have the meal order taken. I would say that the extra payment to have a meal here on the standard AI would be well worth it, especially if it is a special occasion, as the food is exceptional. It was also our favourite place for evening drinks. However, eating in the buffet restaurant in the West Wing was not a hardship. The smiling staff, helpful chefs and quality of the food made our stay extremely calorific! We also ate at the Beach Restaurant and the BBQ meats were lovely too. I did have intentions of using the gym but never made it past the massage tables. The staff here were also very friendly and the massage was lush. Overall, our stay was as good as ever and I'm looking forward to returning in the future.

Was dubious before we arrived, got there late at night ordered room service free of charge because restaurants were closed very nice food ,in the morning our room was not sea view which I paid for spoke to reception and we were upgraded to west wing free of charge ,room and view were great .The restaurant in west wing was out standing food first class ,beach lovely good for snorkelling, entertainment in west wing a little dull and boring needs jeering up a bit .Staff couldn’t do enough for you especially the lovely young man on reception in west wing who arranged for us to go in another room on day of departure as out flight wasn’t until 9.30 at night and we had to be out our room by 12 mid day we were able to spend more time on the beach before getting ready for departure. All staff are a credit to the hotel we don’t normally return to same hotel twice but we will be returning next may for a chill out week .
