This is the most bad 5 star hotel, food is always cold and same. The is never cold beer, from 12 until 15:00 they stop give any drink. Rooms are dirty and old . Swimming pool is very cold water in november, no warm swimming pool. Shops are very far away, one shop there with very expensive price. Service very bad and bad management, just ignore customers. Please never go to this hotel, waste of money.
Very scary hotel. Rooms not cleaned, beds broken, fridges moldied, curtains broken, water running out of the bathtub. We were shocked when we got the rooms. Finnaly, our rooms were replaced and we were transferred to the main house, where the rooms were much nicer, but there is still no emphasis on cleanliness. The hotel is generally very tired and broken. Service very poor. The reception, lobby and beach attendants are very arrogant and unpleasant. The waiters saw and were not friendly at all. The only friendly waiters were in the restaurant. The most horrible food we had eaten, the choice was very small and all the food was completely tasteless.
When we booked this hotel it seemed pretty great from photos and it turned out it doesn't look like that AT ALL. It's far from 5 star hotel. The only good thing was big pool, water park and great beach. ACs in lobby and restaurant didn't work, food was disgusting and barelly edible, sanitasion is extremelly poor and the hotel itself begs for renovation-tiles are chipped, furniture is broken and dirty, halls were so dark that looked like jail. I don't even want to talk about rooms, because they were so small and nasty, it smelled so bad there. We booked room for 4 people, but they didn't give us extra bed as we asked, so 3 people had to sleep in one bed. Restaurant didn't fit people, you had to stay in line to get there, basically you had to hunt for cutlery in order to eat. 95% of tourists in this hotel were russians, a lot of them were really rude. Staff always tried to flirt with me and looked my way, as a woman I felt very uncomfortable all the time. Last day of my stay I saw a mouse. Please, find a better and safer hotel. Can't believe that this hotel still hasn't been closed.…
Don't book this hotel. The food is awful and you will be poorly. The place is filthy, falling to pieces and broken. We booked in for three weeks and genuinely wanted to come home early. Food is unappetising and lukewarm at best. The main pool with the swim up bar is freezing. The animation team seem to think you wish to be bombarded by loud music around the pool area all day and this coupled with an additional sound system on the beach. At times the two clash and you can't hear yourself think. It is absolutely not anywhere near the 5 star resort it believes it is. There was an unused pool in front of our building that was stagnant, the pathways were very uneven which caused me to fall and sustain nasty bruises. Find another hotel in wonderful Makadi Bay, these people don't care about you, they just want your money.…
If you want to feel being a part of a horror movie or having a realistic nightmare just for fun with your hipster friends - go there. Well, at least every other hotel will seem extremely luxurious to you after. If not, please choose probably any other hotel in the bay. I don’t know where to start… maybe from the furniture with (literally) holes welcoming you by sitting quite confidently at the lobby, drunken russios of very doubtful reputation happy for the moment, broken equipment surprising you in every corner or cold water running in your shower (for you to remember it is not a nightmare - it is real), I mean it was enough for me to just be in shock right away, and to prepare myself for a sprint run with a suitcase, children and damaged first impression of the country straight to another hotel the very next day, oh just because it was not possible to manage the very same day, during the very first few hours upon arrival. Once, I am sure, it was a grandiose hotel, and no offence, but now…No, do not go. Please…
I was waiting for my room five hours, when I walked Into the " my" room...people lived there. I ask for another empty room near, but recepcion said, I cant make a choice because I have any rights in their hotel. About 4 p.m. I got a dietų, breakable closet
firstly this is my 7th time to Egypt so i know what to expect from the hotel star rating. Never have a stayed somewhere so appalling the food, cleanliness and state of the building it’s self is unsafe, the food and cleanliness left both my and my husband ill for 7 days off our our 10 day holiday. The food had been cooked and left to go cold and supposedly reheated but was often cold or tepid as soon as it came out, this isn’t good when it’s chicken and rice. We only managed to eat breads and oil as it seemed to be the only thing safe to eat. The smell of the restaurant was terrible. Only another English couple in the hotel the rest Russian who a lot of the time rude to the staff and other guests. The only thing that made our holiday a little better was the pool bar staff especially Ahmed who was happy and would always make sure we had a drink in hand thank you to all the pool bar staff your great but wasted in that place. One of the reception staff where just plain rude when we asked for our transfer time and ended up going to guest relations and she kindly let us use her phone to find out when it was ourselves. Please don’t waste your money in booking this hotel, it needs shutting down and starting again.…
I'm astounded that this hotel is allowed to operate. The buildings are dilapidated and filthy, the furniture is falling apart, and the plumbing is in deplorable condition. Hot water is only available for a few hours a day, and the drains are clogged. The food is borderline inedible - we had to literally hunt for something that wasn't completely disgusting. Plates and glasses are of questionable cleanliness, and they keep running out of them all the time. Beer is routinely served in hot glasses, and a few times we got drinks in little ice cream cups. I didn't dare try their wine - the smell of it was enough. A lot of people complained of food poisoning. The air-conditioning in the lobby and the restaurant isn't functioning! It's hot and smelly, very unpleasant. We also wondered if beach towels were sometimes recycled unwashed? They were covered in stains and looked unclean. The water in the pool was freezing cold, too. The general feeling was that of disgust. We didn't feel either welcomed or respected. In a few days we fled to a neighboring hotel - a completely different experience altogether. I DO NOT recommend Tia Heights!…
The worst hotel I’ve ever visited. Highly not recommended. I believe it should be transformed into a better place in this beautiful makadi Bay Area. The stuff is very friendly but the hotel is managed very very very bad. Looks like the hotel owners don’t like their guests.
We chose the hotel at the last minute, so I didn’t read the reviews, it was my mistake. The hotel is huge, the area is big, beautiful, like all the hotels. What’s tragic is the room. I have never seen curtains like this. Photo. He moved me to a well-arranged room, but the toilet was all finished, photo. Food. There is meat every day, but the choice of salad is maybe 4 plates. And they are inedible. Carrot pieces with mayonnaise, etc ... very very cold water in all pool. The sea is beautiful. Very comfortable with a child. Drinks are poured into very small plastic glasses, most tourists were with their own glasses. The best thing is when you come with a small child, and hot water is a rarity. There were no days at all. We went n times a day to ask. Then there was but very limited, in three we did not have time to take a shower.…
