I traveled to the Spa again for Xmas and new year and this year there were people!! Because of covid last year only about 50 people were there. This time the hotel was nearly full. It was great to see staff (friends) from years gone by still there and also people I met last year and from years ago x all the restaurants and bars were open and the variety of food from different countries was as usual excellent. The first week was very windy but sunny and then it warmed up but only up to 25’ chilly at night. The rooms are very big and spotless as is the rest of the hotel. Mr atito on reception will go the extra mile to help with any problems you might need sorting x thanks to all the people at the Spa for putting up with me!! Ha ha. Miss you all and I will return. A trip into hurghada itself is worthwhile if you’re adventurous!! A great place to stay and relax in pure tranquility (no screaming kids) go and relax and enjoy x thanks again guys xx jimmy yum yum xx

It's a very nice, and exclusive hotel with a beautiful beach. But. We were here in 2019, and we were maximally satisfied. But now we experienced with regret, that the quality of the hotel has deteriorated. Earlier we liked it very well, that the hotel had for dinner a dress cod. This little thing made it elegant, which is a basis of a 5* hotel. You have to book a table for dinner, which is often not possible because there is no space, yet the restaurants go empty. The furniture were in our balcony dirty, I didn't want to seat down. We like this hotel, and we hope, that after Covid it will shine in its original light!

It looks great, but lacks maintenance. The staff is friendly, but the food is horrible. The buffet's lack variation, the quality is poor. To reserve one of the other restaurants is a time consuming task. Some reservations go thru guest relations, others thru the reception desk others thru one of the bars. If you go to the restaurants the all inclusive concept is lost, drinks and mediocre food is charged as extra. This may appeal to the main public, Russians, but not to me. The pool bars are great, you van get your vodka starting 10 AM, as many of the before mentioned guests do.

Makadi spa is a paradise I've been there 7 times and it's always been fantastic the waiters cannot do too much for you.one in particular, Mohammed beach boy number 718 he was always there as soon as a drink was finished at the pool side asking if I wanted another, also the sunglass man forgotten his name but he cleans sunglasses and does cucumber facials is fantastic as well, they really know how to look after everybody. Thank you for a fantastic holiday. Will be returning in February.
