We had a very nice experience and spent a lovely vacation. The kids were never bored. There were different activities available, suitable for different ages for both kids and adults as well. Staff are helpful and rooms are cozy and clean. Accessible beach and Water Slides pool. Highly recommended for family vacation 👍🏼
We stayed for two weeks and it was very nice! Resort is very well maintained and staff is very friendly. Animation team works very hard and tries their best, even on the quite days! So if you need a break.. Stella Makadi Beach!

As a disclaimer, I have been in the past to other All inclusive hotels in Makadi Bay (and in other places around the globe), so I cannot avoid making comparison in my mind. The hotels is ok overall, but the general feeling is that you are in a low cost flight. Especially because for the same amount of money you can get so much more in the hotels from the southern part of Makadi Bay. Food: The food in the Main restaurant has a lot of variety (even if you eat mostly vegetarian meals, you will find plenty of options). You get 2 a la carte per week, but the food was really disappointing - I tried the Indian and Lebanese restaurants. You will notice that they are "reusing" a lot of the leftovers from the previous day (which is somehow normal, but here it was too obvious) - like the fried fish from yesterday will be today in the apetizers section as cold fish with some sauce on top. The alcohol is by far the worst ever seen in an All inclusive hotel - yes, all the AI hotels use local brands, that's normal, but here I think they were just using the cheapest possible local brands. For cocktails, you will only get some colored syrup with alcohol - no Mojito or Pina Colada available. You need to pay 1 EUR for a small glass of fresh orange juice or 2 EUR for a smoothie....which makes you feel like you are in a low cost airline. Although all the staff in the restaurant had masks, most of them were keeping it under the chin. There were gloves everywhere for the self-service of food, but nobody was using them (and nobody from the hotel staff was enforcing the usage of the gloves when touching all the trays, not even the staff was using it). Rooms & property: Please pay the difference for a sea view room - the view on the terrace is amazing, short walk to the beach and the pool. By any means, please do not go to the "Gardens" part of the hotel which is behind the Seafront hotel - you will be far away from everything and depend on long walk under the hot sun or on the shuttle bus. The rooms are pretty old and dated, but you get everything you need in there and I think they already started to remodel some parts of the hotel. A late checkout can be arranged for 20 or 30 EUR extra, depending on the hour. Mini bar is not included, you only get 1 litre of drinking water per person per day in the room (which for us was never enough). The property is nice with cool gardens and plants. I highly recommend the massage at the SPA - amazing service done by the ladies there. The service was average, what annoys me is the excessive requests for tips. I am happy to tip the nice staff, but I am asked for tips 30 times per day by 30 different people that I barely interact with sometimes, it becomes annoying. You only get free internet (and veeeery bad speed, no chance of sending pics via whatsapp) at the reception. Beach & pool: There are plenty of animation options on the beach (yoga, zumba, stretching etc.), but the animation team is way too pushy - not sure if they have a target to gather a specific minimum number of people to gather, but if you see me reading or sleeping on the beach, please don't wake me up every single time to come to Zumba. They were also very rude and pushy every time I told them that I want to be lazy on the beach... This was very annoying. The tide is very big here and you need to walk almost 1 km on a deck to deeper water for snorkeling .... and not that much fish to see (compared to southern part of Makadi Bay). The pool is always crowded, especially the heated pool, but plenty of room on the beach. In specific hours of the day you will hear a lot of loud music from the animation team (local music, "manele" romanian music etc.) - some people seemed to enjoy it, but this was not for me. Overall, you can get much more for the same money in other parts of Makadi Bay or Hurghada, I would not return here.…
Wonderful resort we enjoyed a lot they gave us the room key upon arrival at 10:00 am , delicious food ,our room cleaned very well thank to Mahmoud, omar at the pool on the sea and sammaa at the spa she is professional
We were in this hotel for the fourth time and we can only and only recommend it. There is a very good staff, for whom nothing is a problem. There is great food and there is always something to choose from. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The pools are clean and there are plenty of them. Some are for swimmers, some are relaxing and some are sports where you can play water ball games (sports and relaxation are with a bar). The best hotel, we will definitely return.
I don’t recommend this resort at all.It is very old and dirty. The mosquitoes and flies are biting you all the time even when you eat or stay on the beach. The experience wasn’t a nice one.A Swedish Buffet which was poor with a few choices to make. The personal was very poor prepared. When you order something they were looking at you, expecting to give them 1 dollar for every glass of water. The rooms were old,the bathrooms very dirty. The beach also with a very bad looking. The sand with stones, you couldn’t walk barefoot.
We very much enjoyed spending 4 nights at the Stella Di Mare Grand Hotel, which is lovely and comfortable, has a beautiful beach, swimming pool, and grounds, and several very good restaurants. We're happy to recommend it and look forward to returning sometime.
the hotel is beautiful and it has great views of the sea. the food is pretty varied, you always manage to find something to eat. the animation team has great charisma and they're si fun to be around. they
