We stayed for 10 days at the Stella Di Mare Beach Hotel. This vacation is the best in my life. At once I want to express huge gratitude to all animation team. You are just the best !!! Fifty Cent, Alena, Brittany, Tito - we will definitely never forget you. You’re the best! All the time we had some activity, cool parties and nice animators created a great mood. Foam party and Color fest in the Stella Garden are the best.
In the restaurant are very tasty food, although dishes are often repeated, but I think, it is not a very big problem.
Waiters in the restaurant and bars are very friendly and polite.
Every day the rooms were cleaned and housekeeping made different figures from towels, all 10 days were different.
A big disadvantage is the lack of Wi-Fi in the hotel, only for a fee , I think it could be better organized.
For the whole holiday the animation was the most memorable and I will thank you again, you are cool.
Thank you so much , Stella Di Mare Beach Hotel for this vacation.

Hotel Review
Without doubt, Stella Di Mare Makadi is the  best hotel we have stayed in along many years of our group trips.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and Front Office Manager Mr Romany Abdel Malak and his assistant Mr Rezk . The staff then accompanied us to our rooms, which were ready, very neat and a gesture of pleasure to host us.

The rooms are extremely spacious and cozy , where you literally feel at home, plus a magnificent sea view from your balcony.

The landscape beauty and magic took our breath away. We had such an experience of relaxation and calmness that is incomparable to any other.

The restaurant cleanliness and sanitation is beyond description. You can find alcohol hand gel for hands purification all around. The staff happily serve guests with a lovely smile Specially Mr Ahmed and Ezak

Not to mention the magic of night lights and spots, where you can enjoy sitting and chatting with your family or friends over  delicious snacks and drinks.

We highly recommend the hotel and will go again and again. We don't think that there would ever be a place that supersedes such a wonderful experience.
And in the End i would like to thank all the below for their professionalism in their area and exporting this spirit to their staff
Mr Hany Director of Food & Beverage
Fady from the front Desk
The executive chief
The HK Manager
The activity Manager

This place has it all family friendly relaxing beautiful beach excellent food friendly staff, and a very modest price. The kids 5 can safely play ok the beach and in the ocean while the adults relax on the beach .George from the front office manager and the HK manager went really above and beyond to accomdate my brother's specific room requirements. The staff at the main restaurant always ready to be of service, the staff at Il gabbiano, the pool bar also ! Rooms are very well cleaned. The guest relations always ready to make our stay feel even more warm and welcoming. If I were to make a suggestion, it is regarding the live singer in the evening , the volume is too loud . Other than that it was not our first visit , and it will not be our last.

I was at Stella Di Mare Makadi Beach at the end of july 2022 and I just need to share our experience at this 5 stars hotel wanna be.
First of all it all, we get a horrible room, I can understand the furniture is a bit old, because it’s an old hotel, but I expected a decent and at least clean room. The bathroom are absolutely horrible, they are dirty and full of chalk, the housekeeper swipe the floor with a towel (in the room, even in the restaurants area, I mean they don’t even have some properly cleaning stuffs). I was asking for another clean room and I get another one but the cleaning was the same. Honestly The rooms looks like at a maximum 3 stars old Hotel, and when you tell them about the chalk they tell you they try the best but they can’t clean it (ok, you can’t clean it with water of course, but some anti chalk solutions ?? 🤦🏻‍♀️). Once I noticed that my dirty towel were not changed, and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the first time when the housekeeper just folded the old dirty towels just to look nice. When I noticed that I was calling the reception and asked for new towels, I called for three times and I was waiting for 2 hours just for some clean towels.🤦🏻‍♀️
Another unpleasant experience is with the stuff and waiters, in the restaurant and on the beach, we were not approached by a waiter even once. They are asking just a few people for drink, and when I asked for something ( a fork once, and a drink) I was waiting for 20 minutes and nothing, they just act like they forgot every time. The stuff are really mean and rude, a lot of them doesn’t speak English and if you ask for something in English they look at you really mean and make you feel very uncomfortable.
The food was really good, you don’t have a large selection but they are tasty. Some unpleasant think is that they don’t have early breakfast or late dinner, after 9:30 PM you can’t eat anything.
Another horrible experience is with the beverage and alcohol, they are the most cheapest, have a fake taste, and they are absolutely the lowest quality beverage I have ever tasted. You get alcohol in some cheap plastic glasses, like seriously? In a 5 star hotel you get whiskey in plastic cup and that fake juice in cardboard cup? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Even the still water was horrible.

They don’t have free wifi just in the lobby area, you need to pay for it and it’s not working properly.
The pools are pretty good but if you want to get a spot at the pool and a beach lounger you have to came before 9 AM, because later all is full.
In my opinion this hotel have a few good things, but most of them are disappointing, so I will definitely not recommend the staying at this place and I will never come back.
I consider they have to do a lot of changes from the beverage quality, the stuff and how they treat guest, to a major Hotel and rooms renovation if they want to have a good hotel and if they care about guests experience.

I don't recommend Stella di Mare- Hurghada!!!!
On the first day we arrived, we had all sorts of problems. The rooms were not ready, we waited almost 2 hours to stay.
Heat in one of the rooms was barely going (in January, morning and evening is quite cold and you have to let go of the heat), hot water was not under pressure and we had to wait 5 minutes for hot water to come.
The food is the same every day! A few chicken pieces, rice, French fries, salad. You can't put your food on your own, the restaurant staff put your food on your plate and put you very, very little! The explanation of the staff: It must be enough for everyone! So if you ask for more, he looked curiously at you!
Within the hotel, there is a taxi service that asked us for 74 dollars we paid before - to the center of Hurghada (As the hotel is in the field and the center is close to 40 km). He left us 2 km away from the location and we had to walk 30 minutes.
As long as you sit at the hotel pools, you're constantly being clung to various people to sell you all sorts of trips! Insistently! He asks you every hour, almost every day! And if you accept any trip, you need to make sure that you will have to pay more money in the end.
Also, the shops within the hotel have no prices displayed! One day you buy for a price, another day for a different price!
There are hotels that are at the same price and offer much better services!

This hotel is a maximum of 3 stars!!!!!

Strengths: The cleanliness in the rooms, the heated pool, the beach and the gardens within the hotel!

Had a surprising stay at Stella di Mare. We came the forth time in Hurghada stayed at different hotels but Stella di Mare gave us the worst services ever. All inclusive ment beging for every 100ml of wine, waiters coming after 15minutes waiting, beging for every quarter of tomato or more than one falafel.
Payed 25euros for net in the room and not a single minute had it, disregarding all our complaints. My husband was working late in the night in the main lobby because of the internet missing in our room and asked for a tea at the reception. They replied that he is out of all inclusive and has to pay. Ok, i pay he said, but they found no one to make the damn tea.
Extremely loud music on the beach, sometime from different boxes, different music simultaneously.
Beware, for the same price you can have superior services and accomodation.

March 23, one third of the room blocks under refurishment, building work near pools and beech cafe. Only 1 bar in the evening which shuts at 23.00 prompt there is a disco till 1am but not all inclusive. Not a massive selection of food unless you like salad for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can get chips and hot sandwiches etc at the beech cafe at lunchtime, the beech bar is a small hut like a bus shelter. Bar and waiter service hit and miss. You can only book 2 ala cart restaurants in 1 week, we went to the Indian ordered 3 completed different dishes off the menu and they were all the same, diced chicken in some shop bought sauce. The Chinese was ok, allow time to get there it is in the sister hotel down the road, other than the Chinese restaurant your all inclusive is not allowed in the sister hotel. Pool towels and room cards are controlled with a iron fist $5 fine each if lost. The only entertainment is in front of the hotel seating area next to the only 1 evening bar, so if that type of entertainment is not for you the only way to avoid it is to go to bed. 3 large pools and another 2 behind room blocks to the right. Only 1 small pool heated which gets overcrowded. Beech gritty and sea so shallow or out no chance of a swim. Rooms and housekeeping ok.

To begin with, we must firmly say that this hotel does not deserve 4.5 stars. Max 3. Old. We were given a terrible room, unacceptable. Only after the intervention at the travel agency was changed to tolerable. Throughout our stay, in the restaurant and on the beach, we were not approached by a waiter even once. In the pool 3 times. Food passable, but the same day after day. Nothing stands out. For the most part, drinks and alcohol served in paper cups in restaurants and bars. Some of them got in glasses and I don't understand it. Any juices nasty artificial, made of powder. Freshly squeezed additionally payable. The worst kind of alcohol, from plastic bottles. Only the gin and tonic could be drunk. The drinks were terribly artificial. Ice cream for children additionally payable! The staff around the pool cleans up half an hour before closing by pouring water under the sunbeds on which guests lie and scrubbing with brushes. They clean drinks, even when drunk! The strong point of the hotel are the animations. Unfortunately, the beach is not sand but compacted gravel - you cannot be barefoot. Only near the water. Access to the sea only from the pier. Besides, the hotel is nice, lots of greenery. The service was rather nice. Nice, large pools, but very cold in February, 18 degrees Celsius. Paddling pool and one pool with a bar heated to 28/29 degrees C. You can walk the beach around the bay. The diving base is nice, the diving is interesting. Homemade coral reef, surprisingly nice, but not right next to the pier. You have to swim a good 7-10 minutes . In general, apart from the coral reef, we do not recommend it.

The hotel is really nice, having a coral reef with lots of colorful fish. The garden is amazing with fine grass, palm trees and flowering trees.

The beach is not the best in the world but it’s ok, it’s sandy and clean and there are plenty of chairs and umrellas. The water is shallow for a few hundred meters and with lots of rocks and little creatures, so make sure you wear water shoes. But we didn’t mind so much because the underwater life is what we came for.
There are a lot of sales people on the beach to sell you trips, spa or photos. In the first 2 hours we had already booked 3 things (everything was very enjoyable btw - safari, paradise island and snorkelling trip and massage). But they leave you alone if you don’t want anyhing if you just ignore them.

The room was very clean, with a new surprise every day.
Lots of activities on the beach and in the evening. The animation team makes sure you never get bored with gym, games, zumba. The SPA is very nice, we took relaxing massages and it was totally worth it.
The buffet food is good, with lots of variety, but sometimes you get a long queue especially for the drinks.
In theory you can book a la carte restaurants (italian and indian) twice, but it was already booked for the entire week when we tried to book.

On the beach there are plenty, around the pool there seems enough too … if you are anything like me if someone has thrown a couple of towels down on a bed and made no obvious effort to put their stuff there as well I just move them and take the sunbed … I find this tactic works pretty well 😊

I the WiFi cost 35 euro for 7 days for two people sharing the code. A bottle of wine isn’t available from the hotel (by the glass), but there are supermarkets and a bottle should cost no more than £10. The wine is good.
