A charming holiday, the most positive emotions from the Stella Makadi Beach Resort. We had a family vacation from March 6-14, 2024. We really liked everything. The service staff, animation, food and room are all great. Long beach, plenty of free space. The food is good, the waiters are friendly, the environment is clean, cozy and the atmosphere is very nice and calm. Beautiful area. The animation team tries very hard to entertain the guests, many thanks to them for this; always friendly, smiling, cheerful.
We signed up for the Lebanese a la carte restaurant based on reviews and did not regret it; we celebrated my birthday there. Completely delighted, a team of cooks and waiters, led by the chef, came out into the hall with congratulations, with songs, music and cake, and invited the rest of the restaurant guests to join in the congratulations. It was very nice. The room was cleaned, the linen was changed every day, the bed was decorated with towel figures, the water and coffee and tea sets were replenished, as well as for the shower.
I was pleased that there are emergency rooms for tourists with late check-out. This is important (our flight was at 21.00) in order not to pay extra for the extension of your room, which must be vacated at 12.00, until the evening you can use a free duty room, which has a toilet, shower and hairdryer, where you can shower and change clothes after the beach, Beach towels were also handed over before departure. Suitcases were left at the reception desk, and you could also have lunch and drink tea in the working bars. This is amazing! Special thanks to Marina, who works for Russian-speaking tourists. She is a very pleasant and sweet girl, always ready to help, give advice and explain what is not clear; people turned to her for any hotel questions. Thank you! There are many foreigners in the hotel and few of the staff speak Russian well.
After such a wonderful holiday, I want to return to this hotel again!

This hotel has all the bells and whistles, the pools are immaculate and the swim up bars are always fully stocked with cocktails galore. The atmosphere here is fun and you can soak in the sun and the holiday feels here. The rooms are large and beds are very comfortable with everything you could need in your room to be happy. The hotel has superb vip swim up rooms at €100 a nite extra but you can book on arrival if there is availability is there and just book for a few days or whole stay how ever you fancy and we did a week and was not disappointed. The restaurants here serve great food with a huge assortment of choice the quality is top class. There is a buggy cart if you need some help with mobility during your stay but I'd advise you let the concierge know on arrival. The beach is full of loungers and grass shades but you will need to walk the jetty to get out into the sea to swim as the shore is coral and a hard walk out. It will be worth the walk tho as the under water world here is amazing it's a scuber delight with steps at the end of the jetty straight into the sea. All in all I'd recommend this hotel it's great for romantic holidays or a treat to let your hair down and relax and chill.

After reading quite a few negative reviews I was nervous for our holiday. When you get off the plane you have to pay for your visa GO TO THE GUY WITH THE RED KIOSK he charges $25per person whilst others try to charge $30-$45 per person.
Check in was easy a little overwhelming when you go the check in desk as the lobby in the evening is so busy due to this is being the only place in the hotel where you get free wifi.
Complex is huge we stayed in block 31 right next to the relaxation pool this was ideal for us, not a busy pool so nice and quiet. There are plenty of sun beds around the other pools the busiest is the heated pool. However the staff at the heated pool are fab good laugh. I recommend brining a cup and they are happy to fill it up with the drink of your choice.
Buffet for breakfast best time to go is around 9am as it's quiet-ish you will find something you like the omelettes and pancakes are lovely. Bread is very sweet. At tea time the buffet get quite busy we found 8pm was a good time for us absolutely you will find something to eat, there is a BBQ and fr sh meats and fish cooked every night. Absolutely lovely.
Lunch we went to the Lebanese request which at lunch time service pizza and chips and pasta, pizza is very nice and fresh.
The two restaurants we tri d were Lebanese I would recommend and say 10/10 we tried the Chinese that was also nice however Lebanese was our favorite. The Italian and Indian are in the other resort.
Rooms were cleaned everyday absolutely no complaints regarding this hotel.
Apart from you see other people from other countries be so rude to the staff, which is uncalled for all staff are nice if your nice to them.!! The heated pool bar staff were fab!
The market on the way to Stella by the beach is a much better place for your presents as the one in the hotel they have higher prices.
The hotel has an ATM which is free to use.
We booked our trips through sphinx tours you can find them on Facebook and they are the cheapest around we booked Cairo, Luxor and orange bay. Price was fab!!!
Money wise we used our card a lot in the shops on the trips take eyptian for soft drinks and things also take your own toilet roll as if you need the toilet you have to pay for it $1. I just took my own from the hotel.
All in all very nice hotel, nice food, friendly staff, clean rooms. No complaints.

The hotel area is very green, well-groomed, the hotel is on the first coastline.
5 swimming pools, one heated.
Low tide on the beach during the day, entry from the pier.

We went on an excursion from camitourcom to the Charm el Naga Reef Nature Reserve. The sea is simply magical, we saw a blue stingray, needle fish and urchin fish, squid, clown fish and surgeonfish. Thank you so much for your individual approach and care throughout the trip!

The buffet is top notch. This has never been seen before in Egypt. On the first evening we ate too much on strawberries and dates, and a couple of days later we ate shrimp and crabs for dinner. All dinners are different: grilled whole lamb, traditional Egyptian, seafood... from ala carte restaurants we recommend Lebanese (2 dinners in restaurants are included in the price for a 6-night stay).
Room cleaning for Egypt 👌, change of towels, figures from towels and new water every day.
All the staff are very friendly, especially when it comes to children, and the medicine is top notch. First aid was provided promptly and efficiently.
The children's animation was super, the adults' animation was above average, there was yoga and zumba on the beach every day, there was also a foam party and a festival of colors. In the evening of the week there is a fire show, belly dance and the rest of the evenings there are competitions (best hotel couple, guess the melody, dance flash mob).
Free entertainment includes boccia and volleyball on the beach. Billiards, mini golf, table tennis for an additional fee.
We had a wonderful vacation at Stella Beach! My husband noted that now the only place to go to Egypt is here!🫶🫶🫶

The Indian a la carte is first class for food and service and gluten free, book as soon as you arrive. Both the beach and garden resorts have heated pools. Pounds, euros and dollars are much appreciated and provide good service.

Take some notes so the staff can change them back. Cocktails, icecreams and fruit juice cost extra €2 a piece but I didn't put much weight on (good) and the price for the holiday was heavily reduced.

Room was very clean, as was pools, restaurants and general areas.

We went in April and November both off season and not too hot. Take reusable cups to save using the tiny disposable ones and insulated cups to keep your beer cool.

I liked everything! I even went to the gym once) There are basic exercise equipment, dumbbells, fitness mat, ellipse) there are a lot of impressions) I highly recommend this hotel for a vacation ! The staff is very polite and attentive, the hotel area is beautiful and well-groomed, the sea is beautiful and the fish are simply adorable) it takes 5 minutes to get to the sea by small buses from the hotel. For dinner, they try to surprise; one night they serve ice cream and watermelon in addition to the main dishes, then grilled chicken, crabs and grilled langoustines! Everything is delicious) The animation in the hotel is good, there was a foam party in the main pool and on the beach) the animators also danced on the beach, played volleyball, delicious cocktails, juices fruit, hot and cold snacks on the beach.
, on excursions we went on a yacht with diving, quads,
Payment was made upon delivery onto the bus.
And we booked in advance via the Lepremierguide Instagram page, a hotel with entertainment or karaoke at 9 p.m., a guest singer and a fire show. I didn't want to leave, I loved everything so much! the weather is nice, just take SPF protection, we got burned twice. The sun is so strong that we burn straight away on the first day!

I was that concerned about the previous reviews that the day before we came I genuinely considered cancelling, however big girl pants on we gave it a go not expecting much so please read for a genuine review ,

On your first day you will get asked a lot to go on safaris , massages etc and I mean a lot , however the staff do get do know people and the sniff out the newbies so by day 2 you hardly get spoken too , compared to day 1 anyway !. The staff work off commission which is why they come across so pesty , there is definitely better ways to sell but we all do what we have to , to earn money !.

The food is alright , it is your classic school dinner set up and as people have said the variety isn’t great however this isn’t an expensive holiday compared to some places so if you want good food options daily you going to have to pay a bit more . The staff in the restaurant are polite and hard working , there’s loads of things in here saying you have to pay for ice cream , which is confusing as there is free ice cream every day at the snack bar between 15:00-17:00.

Which brings me on to the staff there’s a lot of reviews saying there rude and unhelpful but i actually think there English is very limited and it’s more they don’t understand, so if your looking for a holiday where you’ll be waited on hand and foot again it’s not for you . Tips are appreciated but not expected as it says on previous reviews, yes the staff tend to bring drinks to bigger groups rather then twos or smaller groups which seems to be the theory of bigger groups are more likely to tip , it makes sense and if you leave your seat you will get served in no time at the bars . I know tips shouldn’t be expected but they do work long hours on a really low wage , so I do understand there thinking .

The rooms are in good condition they do clean them down but they don’t change the bedding or towels just make them and fold them back up which I thought was odd at first but it’s not a big deal .

If you fly with TUI it seems it’s all
Late flights back home however you have to check out at mid day at the hotel , there’s a fee for late check out and if the room is booked that day obviously you have to move your stuff out . They only let you pre book a late check out a day in advance but this seems to be more of a TUI problem as in should have been told this was the case when booked so you can plan ahead if needed .

The pools are great , the sea is beautiful and the hotel is generally clean and tidy so overall it’s not as bad as people say and I’m glad we decided to keep our trip !.

Wonderful hotel! The Makadi Resort and Spa left my husband and I with an unforgettable experience! We visited in February 2024 and were pleasantly surprised by the level of service. Well-groomed territory, daily cleaning of the rooms, as well as visible care for updating the interior - all this creates a cozy atmosphere and a feeling of comfort.

I was especially pleased with the stunning reef - the sea of stunning colors and the diversity of the living world under water are simply mesmerizing. We enjoyed diving and snorkeling, meeting the underwater creatures face to face.

The beach also deserves praise: cleanliness, cozy umbrellas and sliding panels create an atmosphere of privacy and comfort. Tasty and varied food pleased us every day, and with a swimming pool, although attractive, we preferred to be by the sea.

The highlight of our holiday were the excursions. A visit to the pyramids, accompanied by a historian-guide, who fascinatingly talked about the ancient secrets and facts of Egypt, left a vivid impression. And the trip on the bathyscaphe allowed us to plunge into the underwater kingdom and see the amazing world under water.

Our stay at the Makadi Hotel left a pleasant memory in our hearts. Thank you for your hospitality and care for every guest!

We checked in on 23rd Dec and checked out on 30th Dec.

The room was adequate. I was staying with my husband, when we got to the room we discovered that we had been given a twin beds room. When I phoned down to reception regarding the accommodation I was just told to push the beds together.
The lampshade in the corset on the room was bend, one of the balcony chairs was broken, the reading lights don't work and the toilet was leaking. The reception staff were not helpful at all regarding money exchange saying they don’t do it, even though I witnessed them giving out money to other guests. The mini bar is charged and was not mentioned when booking the resort in the description. Regarding the sun beds, pretty much all of them were taken by towels that people put on them before breakfast but were not be used by anyone. There are beds you can pay for for the day. We were constantly harassed by excursion reps who just wonder up from the beach to the pool areas and bother you nonstop. The bars and restaurants on the beach were charging extra for some of the food and drinks and this wasn’t mentioned in the description or the brochure.

On the 24th of December, they had a joint Christmas dinner and entertainment event with the "sister hotel" which should not have happened as the staff could not cope with the volume of guests. We had to queue up for 50 minutes to get the usual buffet, which normally takes around 5 minutes. The food was exactly the same as any other day apart from some cocktails, mulled wine, popcorn and candy floss.

In the main bar (which is tiny) guests have no respect for others. On multiple occasions during our stay they had totally rearranged the seating to the point where you can’t get past just because they all want to watch the football. Also in the bar when I asked for a coffee they said they don’t make it despite having a massive coffee machine at the bar so I had to get one from somewhere else to only then see the guys at the bar making coffee for other guests. It seems they only make things for you if you line their pockets with money. We have booked with TUI multiple times before and always had a great experience on this occasion however not so. So I will not be coming back or recommending this resort to anyone we know.

We stayed at the hotel from January 3 to January 11, 2024, two adults and a child. I have the best impressions about the hotel. Beautiful area and beach (we were also very lucky with the weather, it only blew for 3 days). The pier is probably the best in the bay, judging by the fact that ALL neighboring hotels visited it regularly. Yes, the approach from the shore is not very pleasant, but from the first stairs on the pier you can swim to your heart's content. From the distant stairs there is snorkeling and a reef, various fish) In general, we walked around the entire bay and came to the conclusion that this beach is the best (especially if you like to swim)))). The rooms are clean, cleaned every day with charming surprises). The staff is polite, friendly, we did not notice any differences/discrimination))) During our stay, we attended 3 festive dinners, which gave us maximum pleasure both in terms of cuisine and in terms of organization. In general, we really liked the restaurant and food at the hotel, provided that we are very selective when it comes to food) It definitely won’t be boring here, the animation worked like a charm! The team was mixed, many events were held in such a way that EVERYONE was involved, every day and evening. The guys are great, thank you so much! There are 2 nightclubs on the territory, and there are outdoor discos, and just dancing after the program) In general, many thanks to all the staff, we will be happy to return and recommend this hotel for both family and youth holidays)
