Stayed here 7th November for a week, with a 12 year old and 5 year old children.
Good points;,
Food was excellent everyday, freshly made pizza, pasta, chips, fruit, bread, salad for kids which was great even at beach restaurant, and freshly cooked BBQ each evening with chicken, beef, fish etc,
Swimming pools were clean and there was a heated pool which was lovely, it had a swim up bar too. there was a wave pool and a pool with 2 quite fast waterslides.
A shuttlebus ran to the beach every 15 mins, but you could walk to the beach in 10 mins.
There was a 400m jetty which led right onto the reef son you could snorkel every day, the fish were amazing, if you got a fish guide from the beach bazaar you could tick off the ones you saw, also saw an octopus and a giant Moray Eel.
The rooms were kept spotlessly clean and our cleaner Yusuf made towel animals each day.
We sorted out excursions before we went with Sinai excursions via facebook and messenger, we booked Luxor and paradise Island, we booked a wifi unit off them too for £30 for the week as free internet is only available in the hotel reception and is very slow, the box connects 6 users and worked on our trips too, the hotel sells internet cards that work ok but cost more.
we used the mini disco which the kids loved, but never made it to the entertainment. The beer and wine were ok just served in small glasses tho, and the cocktails weren't great but we were not bothered about this.
Overall great value for money, lovely hard working staff and fantastic weather.
The new airport terminal in Hurghada was great even a burger king, allow extra time for security if your English as they do extra checks before boarding.

Last minute getaway for 10 days. Stayed in Stella gardens not Stella beach although linked the gardens hotel felt much newer and cleaner. Weather was stunning.

Choice of 4 pools only one heated but to be honest so hot was lovely once you were in the cold ones just as much. Towels given daily no need to take your own. Mats for the sun beds just ask towel guy. Waiters from bar brought drinks to your loungers and the towel man on hand for putting up umbrellas etc

Room cleaned daily high standard. Reception and dining area constantly swept and clean. Al a carte restaurant must book on first day or may not get booked. Indian and Chinese definitely worth going to. Main restaurant was well stocked with various dishes daily but it’s Egypt remember so if your looking for bacon/sausages/ roast dinner etc your in the wrong country.

Our waiter was Fadi brought hot water and milk for my tea bags. Got drinks from the bar and constantly cleared up and worked hard. Reception team Gamal, Ramy and Mina nothing was too much trouble their smiling welcoming attitudes day and night made you feel very special.

Shopping in the small mall was fun, a little haggle for bags with Youssef or no need to haggle for crisps/snacks/ cigarettes in the mini supermarket made a pleasant experience. We would definitely recommend and return to visit again soon.

This was our first trip to the Hurghada area and we had a fantastic holiday with fantastic weather, averaging 32c in November. The hotel is fairly old fashioned and some areas are a bit shabby but everywhere is spotlessly clean and our room was huge. The staff are made up of mainly young guys as bar staff, room cleaners, gardeners, dining staff and they are all the most friendly, charming people you could want to meet, nothing was too much trouble for them and they did all their chores with a smile on their faces. There are several swimming pools on the complex all very well maintained and depending on whether you want a lively holiday or a quiet, relaxed time there is a pool to suit everyone. The food in the buffet restaurant was very varied, plenty choice for all dietary needs and the a la carte restaurants that we sampled were excellent especially the Chinese and Lebanese. Drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are plentiful, our only gripe was at dinner, wine was served only by the glass, it would have been much easier for the staff if they could just put a bottle on the table instead of running back and forwards.
There is a frequent shuttle bus to take you to the beach but we chose to walk there evry day through the beautifuly maintained gardens of the Stella Gardens hotel and then Stella Beach hotel, a walk of approx 10-15 minutes and all on the flat. The beach in November was fairly quiet, there were plenty of sun beds available and the sea was lovely and warm. You do have to walk out a very long way to be in deep enough water to swim and it is necessary to wear protective water shoes on your feet as the ground underfoot is quite sharp in places because of the reef. There is also a long wooden pier by which to access the deeper sea if you don't want to wade out.
The animation team are very enthusiastic if you want to become involved in the various activities arranged during the day and there was a show on every evening in the hotel, firstly to entertain the children in the hotel and then entertainment for adults after. We chose to have a tranquil holiday and the animation staff were happy if you wanted to have a quiet time, no unecessary cajoling you into doing things.
We had a wonderful 2 weeks relaxing, swimming, reading by the pool and enjoying our food in the evening and being well looked after by the very attentive bar waiters. It was our first trip but it won't be our last!!
One thing we were unable to do was change British currencey into Egyptian currency at the hotel reception. We were told we had to go to a bank to do this so better to take some currency with you or have small denominations of pounds, euros or dollars if you want to tip.

Tired rooms and canteen food - the same every day and cold, in a dark dining hall. There was zero atmosphere anywhere as often literally only a handful of guests. Drinks were horrible, both soft and alcoholic. Don’t imagine you’ll get a cocktail here, more a neon liquid in a paper cup. Drank a lot of coffee. Sunbathing by the pool was like lying in a car park on a layer of builders sand. In the rooms you can hear the constant hum of the air con in the room below. The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere, a good 30 min drive from Hurghada. On windy nights we had to go around securing banging doors in corridors (architecture is of open design) and jamming paper in rattling patio doors in the room. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you, I just can’t find much to recommend and can’t understand all the good reviews. Stella Beach was busier but the same quality food and drink (you had to pay in the bars but could use wristband at the beach bar. Strangest beach I’ve ever seen, see other reviews!)

We went for Christmas. Food was inedible and cold. A la carte was not much better. No Chinese chef and no Italian chef. Breakfast I like yoghurt and honey and fruit, the only fruit was pomegranate and chopped apple every day. If you can eat bread they have a good selection at breakfast and the omelettes are average, too fatty for me. The coffee was good.

I previously stayed at the Jaz Aquamarine which was fabulous, so this was very disappointing and no way is it a 5* Egypt. I couldn’t wait to get home, I never feel like this on holiday, I love my holidays. At the Jaz Aqumarine they do the most amazing cocktails in the evening and I had a spiced gin and tonic during the day. When I asked for a spiced gin and tonic here they had no clue what I was talking about. Drinks are poor with very little selection.

Zero entertainment in the evenings other than the gala nights and the bar area isn’t the nicest environment and there’s only 1 bar in the hotel. Although they tried hard and it looked great, we missed the Christmas Eve gala dinner because our flight was delayed and New Years Eve we left early. Only food I found that was good that night was sushi, queues too long for other food and you couldn’t see what it was until you got to the front, then by the time people sat down 15 minutes later or longer, it was cold. We had cold food all week so thought sushi was a better option, at least it’s meant to be cold. The sushi was very good and we had fresh smoked salmon with it.

Lots of complaints from other guests about the terrible inedible food. Hotel told us the a la carte wasn’t good because they lost their authentic Italian and Chinese chef during Covid.

If you want to go around the pool to get away from the sand, again you’ll be disappointed. They put sand around all the swimming pools and placed all the loungers in the sand. I do not know their mindset when they did this, but never seen it done before.

You are not on the beach, there’s a shuttle to the beach at the sister hotel every 10mins or you can walk in about 15 mins. You cannot eat the food at the sister hotel, other than the chips, burgers, pizza and junk food served on the beach. If you have allergies or are gluten free, you’re gonna be hungry if you go to the beach for the day. Christmas Day lunch I left the beach to go to back to the hotel for food but by the time I realised there was nothing I could eat on the beach it was 2pm and the only thing left that day at the hotel was salted fish, I actually gagged, they haven’t a clue how to cook fish and I love fish. I didn’t eat Christmas Day until the evening and then had cold stew, couldn’t find anything else in the least bit appetising.

I have never been so hungry at an all inclusive and dreaded mealtimes so much. I love my food.

They don’t even serve crisps or nuts with the drinks.

This hotel has put me off ever returning to Egypt.

Were here in December 2021, the hotel was around 70% full.
The staff at the reception was nice and helpful but in the restaurant the guys working in the kitchen were behaving with women like they’re not human beings and ignoring them (didn’t come to the counter with food to serve them) if they’re not accompanied by a man.
The biggest scam is the free restaurants that you can visit twice while you’re there. The food was disgusting, and hear me when I say, we skipped the dinner to go to the Japanese/Chinese restaurant and we left without finishing!!! The sushi were frozen, we also had miso soup that was just boiled water with some spices.
The cleaning in the room was fine except the floor that was always dusty, they never clean it.

Poor at very best!

Room was regularly left uncleaned by staff, especially replacement of towels, water, tea making kit and toilet roll. This forced us to make several complaints to reception which was frustrating and unacceptable.

Food was average at best with lack of variety and we, along with several others started to struggle with the food. The a la carte was ok, especially the Italian and Indian at Stella beach.
Room service was non existent and resulted in us having to actually walk to order at the dining facility which was ridiculous, when the food arrived it was stone cold.

Round the main pool, it was extremely noisy and the lack of sun beds was ridiculous to say the least. Guests were getting up as early as 0430 to put towels out or it was noted paying pool attendants privately to put towels down and reserve towels on their behalf. If you didn’t get up very early the chances of securing a sun bed was slim to non existent. The sandy areas round the pool was always full of cigarette butts which was awful!

Night entertainment was poor and monotonous and we stopped attending after a very short period of time.

There is no standard wifi in the rooms which I’ve never heard of before and could only be accessed in the main foyer, however due to the sheer volume of people accessing it, it was poor and slow, thus we were forced into paying over €40 for just 2 devices for just a weeks access.

The beach was easily accessible by the regular shuttle bus, however once on the beach, the plethora of sales people offering various products and services was overwhelming and frustrating.

Myself and a friend booked this holiday as a winter sun getaway and it didn't disappoint. For what we paid it was fantastic value for money.
Rooms:
Large with plenty of room , two double beds and a large bathroom. Cleaned daily and fresh bottles of water left in room every day.
Food:
Usual All Inclusive food in the large buffet restaurant. Plenty choice and something for everyone, not top star dining quality but we didn't pay top star dining quality prices either! Only slight complaint was food wasn't always that hot but that perhaps came down to the fact the hotel at a guess was only about a third full and food turnover wasn't as quick. I do think in busy season the dining area would be very congested and maybe not such a nice experience. Staff are very attentive and very willing to help at all times. Also on site between the gardens and beach resorts are four A La Carte restaurants, Lebanese is a must , was really lovey , we also chose the Italian (you get two choices for your weeks stay), the Italian was fine, not exceptional but a nice change from main buffet .
Pools:
There are several pools around the resort to suit everyone. As I said it was quiet when we were there but I can imagine these will get very busy in the height of the season. The entertainment team were located at the heated pool which we didn't really go to. Bar staff at pool areas take good care of you and keep your drinks topped up all day.

We were just on a chilled getaway and didn't do any trips however plenty on offer if you wish to go out and about.

I did walk down to the beach which is lovely and worth a look. A shuttle does run every 15 mins or so if you didn't want to walk.

All in all a great stay. Hotel and grounds kept immaculate and staff very helpful, we took some £1 coins and tipped accordingly which was appreciated.

There is internet connection n the lobby only, however you can purchase either an Egyptian Sim ( my choice and worked fine in hotel and if out and about) or premium internet access for at the hotel only.

We were slightly annoyed that our All Inclusive status ended at 12 noon on day of departure and that we were expected to pay for any food after that time, our pick up wasn't until 4.30pm so this really wasn't acceptable. However the restaurant staff didn't stop us going in so we still ate at the buffet.

Just returned from Stella Gardens. We didn’t arrive until late evening but they had put food on for us which was very welcoming. Our room was basic but it had everything we needed and it was clean. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. After a couple of days of going to the pool the people who you get your towels from had already placed our towels on the loungers we had been on the previous two days. the gentleman who work on the pool bar and also the evening entertainment bar worked so hard and always had a smile on their faces, ( Ebrahim is a credit to the place), I don’t know how they did it but they remembered what you were drinking. I’m vegetarian but found something to eat at every meal, the only fault I found was the food wasn’t warm enough.
I have limited mobility and the staff were so helpful, getting me drinks, carrying my plates and keeping me supplied with coffee. I took the shuttle bus down to the beach a couple of times which runs regularly, you could possibly walk it in 10 minutes. There were plenty of sun loungers on the beach and a bar to get drinks and snacks.
This was my first time in Hurghada and I can’t wait to return.

Arrived on the evening of boxing day. Rooms are of a good standard and very tidy and clean towels changed daily worth using the sign on the door. If you don’t wanna get disturbed and then change it and then make the room up later.
I would like to thank Mr Magdy and his staff for such a pleasant stay. I have never stayed at a hotel where all of the staff including entertainers lifeguards in bar. Staff have been so helpful and friendly. I don’t think I’ve met anyone negative or unfriendly at this hotel , a big shout out goes to MrWael from hotel reception who has been so helpful
During our stay, we had the pleasure of attending the New Year’s gala ball. What an event I’ve never seen so much food and cakes again all the staff went out of their way to make this a perfect evening for the guess the location has a number of heated pools and food caters for everyone. I would like to thank the whole team for a very enjoyable break.
