We stayed here after a long flight from Australia. The rooms were clean and comfortable with free wifi. The hall carpets were looking a bit worn but this didn't impact on the stay. The only downside was my wife left here glasses behind. If anyone...More

We were in desperate need of a room at the last minute and they were more than accommodating. The room was well worth the money and very spacious. The staff could not be more helpful and courteous. Will use again when in the area.

The Horizon Inn is along a major route and, I think, the Bus Line. But the train into NYC is certainly close. There are many hotels along this same route and some of them have shuttles to the Newark airport. To my knowledge, the Horizon is not one of them. As you drive northward toward the Airport, you go past the Goethals Bridge which connects New Jersey to Staten Island and many links to NYC and JFK. I think that the Horizon is a good value for the money but, even though it is fairly close to the airport, there are other hotels that may be more convenient yet more expensive for possibly less.
