Caves Beach Resort Hurghada receives a mix of feedback, with its location frequently lauded for scenic views and proximity to attractions, enhancing guest stays. While the hotel's cleanliness and range of amenities generally earn praise, the service quality is inconsistent, ranging from commendable to unprofessional. Room experiences vary, with guests appreciating their uniqueness yet noting occasional maintenance and cleanliness issues.
Despite its captivating cave theme, noise from loud music and construction can be disruptive. Travelers also express concerns over the value, citing overpriced extras and variable pricing.

Detailed Reviews
We arrived late at night ,the reception staff welcomed up with a big smiles as if we had been friends for years , after receiving our room key we were told that there was a meal waiting for us in the restaurant (despite the restaurant being closed) we atet our meal in the restaurant again the staff were attentive even though we made them late finishing their shift.
The beach staff are amazing and work very hard to please, they always had a smile on there face, and always happy to help
Our room 3024 was with pool access, the room was huge, clean and comfortable, the only thing is the dust, considering where the hotel is and the amount of sand and dust in the air the room attendant's do an amazing job.
The beach is cleaned daily on a morning and throughout the day,be aware the beach is gravely (wet shoes are needed)
We did not have the same meals twice, there was plenty of choice on the menu, if you expect chips every day you will be dissappointed, very little British food on the menu, for us this was a good thing, the chef's need to be commended for the food they produce, all in all we had a fabulous time here,

So far I have changed 4 hotels in Hurghada. My last choice was Caves Beach resort and I was not wrong. The hotel itself, as the name suggests, is arranged in the shape of a cave. It might be ugly to some, but I really liked it. The staff at the hotel are fantastic. Everyone tries to make your vacation pleasant. I've read a lot of bad reviews about the food here. Of all the hotels in Hurghada I've been to, the food here was the most varied and I never went hungry. From chicken, veal, fish, shrimp, crabs. All deliciously prepared. The rooms are as clean as the entire hotel. If you have the chance, be sure to take the swim up room. As everywhere there is room for improvement. My suggestion is not to skimp on juices at breakfast (too watered down), to pay more attention to cleanliness in the restaurant.
Like all hotels in Hurghada, this one has the same problem, which is flies and mosquitoes. A small note to everyone is that the hotel is located quite far from the city center. There is a fridge in the room, but you have to pay for refilling drinks, but there is no information anywhere about how and there is no price list of drinks. A little unusual, because in all other hotels we received water and a bottle of soft drink daily without any additional charge. And that the fridge is a decoration because it didn't cool at all. Basically, with all these shortcomings, it is better than all the other hotels I have been to!

Have you ever been to a hotel where waterfalls rustle?
Caves is a delightful small complex with a unique architecture referring to natural rock formations. This style is complemented by the surrounding landscape, swimming pools with integrated lights and vegetation. Seemingly, you only sleep in the rooms during the All Inclusive holiday, but in this case it will be a rest in a fascinating interior from the Stone Age. The severely finished rooms are styled as caves with furniture made of wood and rocks. Even the trash can is ... a palm tree trunk ;) My room was 40 meters and I chose the most modest option in this hotel! The rooms are clean, cleaned every day: beds made, towels changed (but I had more and more every day ;)). In each room there is a coffee service (kettle, dishes, water, coffee, tea and sugar). Every day, bottles are added and sachets refilled. Finally, I made a peeling of sugar, because it was added to me according to Egyptian standards ;)
When choosing the "Royal Pool" room, you can use the private access to the pool with a private terrace and a big bed for sunbathing. Some of these rooms are so intimate that guests feel very comfortable and sunbathe naked.
The beach is located by the hotel, 200 meters from the main building. Private, sand and gravel. I recommend protective shoes and walks in the shallows. To swim or snorkel, the most convenient way to enter the sea is from a nearby pier. There is a bar on the beach.
Mr. Sherif was responsible for the kitchen during my stay and I can award him the world championship, and certainly the championship of Egypt: Ful Medames, Furniture, Kuszari, Tajin, delicious meat and vegetables in various forms.
I haven't written about the most important thing yet. About 10-star service. You could say that I have been going to Egypt for 10 years. But this time I really didn't know which side the nice surprise would attack from.
From additional, but often important, things. There is free but slow Wi-Fi in the hotel lobby. It is enough to check FB ;) A few shops will handle the simplest needs. Right next door, neighboring Tree Corneers has more, including a pharmacy and ATM. The hotel is located 10 km north of Hurghada and 15 km from the airport. Taxis are waiting for guests in front of the hotel.
If you want to spend your vacation in a hotel different from all the rest, this is the Caves!

Lovely looking hotel, very quirky & most staff very friendly & attentive.
Food was very basic with lots of flies landing on it & the restaurant manager was rude to me on various days. Drinks served in a plastic cup & not much ice so gets warm quickly, not much variety either & the wine isn’t drinkable in my opinion.
Room service was efficient & tea & coffee topped up daily & bottles of water left daily. AC worked well but no English TV, was 1 channel but impossible to watch due to it scrambling constantly.
Entertainment staff are lovely & so friendly , they are a credit to this hotel but the night time entertainment lasts no longer than 20-30 minutes at 9pm.
Pool side man is amazing & will do anything to make your stay comfortable. The pool is cold but nice when you are basking in 35 degree temperatures.
Arena bar on the beach next to the hotel is lovely & it has a pool but it’s separate to the hotel so have to pay for food & drink but definitely worth going there as so much fun.
El Gouna is worth a visit , cost 500 Egyptian pounds for a return taxi & there are lots of shops & restaurants at reasonable prices.
Would I stay here again ? No I wouldn’t but I had a nice relaxing holiday in the sun.

We have been to Egypt many times and stayed in some great hotels. This is marketed as a 5 star but is only scraping a 3 at best. The sheet didn't fit the bed so you usually woke up on a bare mattress as there was no mattress protector. The bedding had more bobbles than a knitting clubs ski trip. The toiletries were poor. There were no cups provided for the tea/coffee making facilities. Towels were questionable
The food in the main restaurant was repetitive, luke warm and sometimes slap cold. You could get a hot omelette on a morning and a hot sandwich at one of the bars as these were cooked for you. It was hit and miss whether there was any milk for cuppa so my husband had it black more often than not. There was only 1 hot water dispenser that had water hot enough to make a brew. The other one leaked, had aired water in it and was accompanied by a small dirty kettle. The food in the a la carte restaurant was a pleasant relief and was nice. Drinks were mainly served in plastic cups in the bars on an evening. The main restaurant seemed to have a resident cat that strolled around. Food spilled on the floor stayed there for some time, even in walkways, the tomato that was squashed into the floor was an accident waiting to happen in the 2 days it remained there
I cant comment on the pools or the entertainment as we kept ourselves to ourselves in the hope of remaining covid free and didnt use them.
The beach was very pebbly and littered. There was no sign of sea life even when walking out onto the nearby jetty. Certainly not good for snorkelling
The staff on the reception desk were very nice, polite and helpful. The spa staff were attentive and did a fabulous job. The grounds staff were always busy trimming bushes or cleaning the pools and everyone said hello to you. It has the potential to be a nice place but needs to address the points I've highlighted.
I'm afraid I won't be revisiting this hotel

We visited the caves for our anniversary may 7th-15th 2022 the staff made a huge effort to make everything special for us! They put champagne, flower petals and even a cake in our room on our arrival!
We had a beautiful luxury swim up room with a private lounge terrace.
We went all inclusive and the food, drink and service from the staff was none stop and always with a smile!
Me and my partner paid £200 for a full couples spa day at the resorts spa which was absolutely amazing!
At the front of the resort are a row of little shops. Although we found the shop owners to be quite rude there was one particular shop on the very end of the row run by a lovely man named George. George was very helpful and sold us some great bargains!
We would also like to give a special mention to the room attendant who I believe was named Hamdy, his daily towel creations made us smile every time! He also left fresh flowers in our room every day which was very nice of him.
The resort puts on a show every night. The fire show was amazing however we found all the other nights to be lacking entertainment wise.
Taking a short walk to the back of the resort we found a beautiful private section of beach!
Just outside the resort you can get a taxi anywhere for as little as £1.
Over all we were very relaxed, happy and felt very well rested after our stay at the caves. We will most definitely be going back!

Stayed for a weekend with a group of friends. Had an amazing time! The hotel is quirky and fun. Although the hotel was so quiet during Corona times, all staff were very friendly and accommodating. They took the pandemic requirements seriously, staff all wearing masks, lots of hand sanitizer, rooms were spotlessly clean. Couldn't fault it. The swim up rooms were fab! I hope to visit again. Thanks to all at Caves.

The hotel is very unique and nice, almost like a paradise inside and out. Everything clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and funny - thank you Shady for a great service. There is also a nice program every day with activities and enterntainment at the hotel. Free tenis, 8pool, volley at the hotel area. Also there is a nice and clean private beach, the only downside are the rocks and corals that will hurt your feet at the entrance 2-3 m in the sea and it is a long way until you can swim. The food at the hotel was okay, but it could be nice to be more varied. Sometimes there is plenty of food, sometimes you don't have what to choose. And when we ask for breakfast to go when we were in trips there was almost nothing in the package. Same with the late dinner. But per total it was good, and silent place for a relaxing experience.

I visited caves in May
The moment I arrived at the Hotel they immediately gave me the room which was really nice 👍 .
Staff was friendly at least most of them (if Liverpool loses some guys they get angry) 🤣 but other than that they respect you a lot.
The pool was great a lot of space , clean and it wasn’t crowded but I didn’t like the selling guys bothering me twice a day for the same thing its get boring once is enough if i change my mind i will tell you no need to bother me all the time ( massages, skydiving and other stuff) .
Rooms were cleaned regularly but they didn’t change room towels everyday at least in my room they didn’t so im not sure if they do this to every room .
The food wasn’t really good and it didn’t have a lot of options (open buffet) and it wasn’t fresh at all most of the days the food was from yesterday .
Beverages were good I enjoyed drinking beer and some of the cocktails they made but the beer and other drinks are not cold at all.
Wifi is terrible not a single good thing can be said about wifi 😐
Its worth going for 2 days because of the unique hotel and its beautiful but after 2 days you really dont enjoy it a lot , if the Hotel would put some more work and focus in Food and other stuff they could easily be 5 star hotel they certainly have the potential to reach it 🥳 .

The hotel is advertised as 5* but it’s a 3. The rooms and pool areas are really good, beach area is not exactly a sandy beach. The towels are all worn out and off white as is the bedding, the sheets don’t fit properly and the resort is getting tired and in need of a major spruce up.
The food is ok but you have to get in early or it’s dry and cold.
The all inclusive alcohol is not good, it’s all Egyptian beer and spirits and it isn’t very good. The vodka I thought was Bacardi and no wine in the bars only at dinner.
The rooms are adequate and the pool area with out swim up pool was lovely and they do try to keep the place clean the staff are friendly and very helpful.
Top tip download the Uber app and buy and Egyptian SIM from either the airport or any vendor all you need is a cheap one and your good to go UBER to Hurghada is around 5 Euros taxi is a lot more expensive

Wifi is crap so doubt it will work.
Yes, we checked out at 1200hrs and not picked up till 1800hrs and had full use of facilities
I had a deluxe room which when I checked in gave me a room which was in-between the main pool end and the beach end. This turned out to be must quieter area than all the noise from the main pool and entertainment end. My room was in caves 4000 block.
Low level as no lifts, plus pool view
I brought my visa on line go to gov UK they have the link
Easy and after downloaded straight through security
