This is the only hotel we have ever visited more than once due to how clean it was and the food and people here work so hard to make sure you are happy. This year our friends came with us and they were impressed. I had requested prior to our stay block 32 but on arrival we had been allocated a different block. I sent an email to reception who picked up the message immediately and got us straight over to rooms in block 32. The rooms as always were very well maintained and our room boy was attentive, asking if there was anything else we needed and leaving g us some towel arts on several days. My friend has a severe nut allergy and on arrival at the main restaurant the chef took us around the restaurant explaining the signs for allergens etc. We also ate in the A La carte restaurants which were fantastic. We went to the Spanish twice a the perfect steak, Indian, Mexican, Italian and Mongolian. We tented to go to the same area of the pool each day where the lifeguards were always at hand to make sure we had beds. After the first day we used the red flag system so that we weren’t disturbed by people promoting the Spa, boat trips etc as we booked these in our first day. Health Spa - 2 of us went every few days for a medical massage. This price was agreed on the first day and the ladies at the spa were very welcoming and we had the same ones for each massage. The massages were amazing!!! We booked a boat privately with one of the guys from the hotel for snorkelling and 3 of us did 2 scuba dives, 2 of us including myself had never done this before but what an amazing experience and we felt very well looked after. We chose not to participate in many of the sessions with the animation team but ‘Kosh’ would pop by and say hi and my husband and our friend joined him for some Arabic lessons some afternoons and we had a great time with him at the beach party, he made us feel really welcome and helped make our holiday more enjoyable. The bar staff - well we got to know a few of these quite well, they remembered what we drank and had them flowing. We would go to the beach bar before dinner and the lobby bar after. There was one bar man in particular who worked in the beach bar until closing them go to the lobby bar until late. Sorry I can’t remember his name but he stood out to us with his welcome. We are already planning to go again next year it is such a lovely hotel and the staff made it so enjoyable. Highly recommend .

The hotel is great, we stayed here for two weeks and felt very comfortable. We had a nice room that was cleaned very well every day. It is always very loud in the main restaurant and therefore it was uncomfortable for us to eat there. The selection of dishes was very varied and wholesome, although I would have liked more Egyptian dishes and more strongly spiced dishes. We didn't try all of the a la carte restaurants. We liked the Mongolian and Indian restaurants the best. In our opinion, the service there was the best. We weren't so convinced about the Asian and Mexican. We enjoyed it in both restaurants, but the service at the Asian restaurant was a bit unfriendly and the food at the Mexican restaurant was just way too much. Initially the music in the restaurants was so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation, but this improved significantly after a few days. A suitable music for the restaurant would perhaps be nice (for Asians - Asian music). The bar was very cozy and the cocktails tasted surprisingly good. Having breakfast outside on the piazza is great. It's a shame that the waiters don't consistently scare the birds away. They like to take the omelette or something similar off the plate. Unfortunately, the coffee machines don't work all the time in the morning and need to be cleaned etc. This could possibly be done if the restaurant is no longer busy. Several coffee machines can often fail at the same time. You could save the cutlery wrapped in a plastic bag to avoid unnecessary waste. The heated pool was very pleasant in March because it was still too cold for me in the sea. We always found a lounger on the beach (we don't always have to lie in the same place) and the little towel employee on the far left of the hotel was just super nice, friendly and helpful. You could easily go into the water from the beach to swim and you didn't need bathing shoes. There was water even at low tide. Because of the sheltered bay there were very few waves. It is possible to surf and SUP board. Unfortunately, the reef is no longer intact, so there were hardly any fish to be seen. The animation asked in a friendly manner but wasn't too intrusive and the fact that music was played at the stand every now and then for an hour in the morning and afternoon was completely okay. Almost all of the beach vendors stuck to the red flag and left us alone. That was very good. We found it a shame that you couldn't go for a walk on the beach, along the other hotels. It was nice that you could use the sister hotel, but it wasn't enough for us to go for a walk. You could walk to the Senzo Mall, which was a nice change, but otherwise there is nothing else worth seeing within walking distance.

Beautiful, spacious complex (also through shared use of the adjacent Sunrise Garden) with lots of offers and opportunities for the whole family. Beach, pool, slides, delicious, diverse and varied food, friendly and courteous staff - this is where you go on holiday! We had a family suite with 2 bedrooms and a garden view in block 15 - the view was towards the sports field, so the location was very quiet. The room was always clean, our room boy also asked regularly if everything was OK. The furnishings are perhaps a bit old-fashioned, but we didn't think they needed to be renovated. Equipped with a minibar (once a week with soft drinks in cans, refilled with water daily), safe, large wardrobe, 2 x TV (not used), clothes rack on the balcony (on request), hairdryer in the bathroom. Mattresses were a bit hard for my taste, but I still slept well. The service here also works without a tip (we still gave one - in advance and for particularly nice service), but it was even better with a tip. Whether at the pool or beach looking for a lounger or in the restaurant on site - the hotel staff were always friendly and very attentive. Thank you to the entire team. The transfer from HRG airport took 15 - 30 minutes (depending on the transfer), Senzomall can be reached in 10 minutes on foot, other shops and pharmacy right in front of the hotel, 15 - 20 minutes to the marina and Sheraton in Hurghada, right on the sandy beach, the hotel is in the flight path (but incoming planes don't bother you much). Excursions possible from the hotel (local provider - we had booked private excursions). It never gets boring in the hotel: varied entertainment and evening shows (for those who like it), swimming or snorkeling, relaxing, well-equipped gym, slides, tennis court, aqua center, beauty salon and spa (some for a fee). We used the beauty salon and spa. If you don't want to be spoken to, you can get a red flag for your lounger from the towel stand and just relax. We'll be back!

The hotel is fine but meets a typical mid-range standard – nothing outstanding. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the children were treated like little princes and princesses. Especially entertainer Amy and the lifeguard at the small pool were fantastic and took excellent care of the little ones. Unfortunately, there was still one aspect that clouded the stay: The animators really urge guests to submit a 6-star rating on Holiday-Check directly on their tablet and give them a thumbs up. I found this procedure uncomfortable and inappropriate. Guests should have the freedom to share their honest opinions without pressure or influence.
Location: The beach is nice, but nothing special. Snorkeling is rather uninteresting here, but the beach is well suited for splashing. Leaving the hotel, I would only recommend in an emergency. The opposite pharmacy was helpful, but the way there is like an adventure – you are constantly approached and pressed to take a taxi.
The rooms are fine and functional, but unfortunately the minibar was not refilled, which was disappointing.
The main restaurant was much too noisy especially at breakfast. The area was more like a hall where everything reverberated, plus loud music. The waiters cleared the dishes with a lot of noise on the serving trolley, which made breakfast more of a quick meal than a leisurely start to the day. The breakfast itself was delicious though, especially the omelet and the still warm croissants. Pancakes for the children and fresh fruit ensured that nothing was missing. The dinner and theme restaurants were also very good, but the dishes were always served quickly, so you felt like you had to leave soon. Our favorite was the Italian restaurant.
For service at the pool and beach: Unfortunately, you have to pay attention to rip-offs by sellers. Despite the red flag, which was supposed to keep the sellers away, they kept coming back. However, I can recommend the massage in the spa – 50 minutes for 40 euros was a reasonable price. Beware, however, in the beauty salon: Here, the benefits are poor and overpriced. If you don't buy additional products, you're also treated outrageously. My daughter and I had braids braided on our last day, but already eight hours after we returned to Germany they fell apart at the tops. Small elastics were used on the scalp to break off the hair – so it’s better to keep your hands off it if you like your hair. The hotel photographer, on the other hand, was nice, the prices were reasonable, and the pictures got really nice.

- All facilities available. - Neat rooms. - Friendly staff. - Diving school on the beach at the hotel. - Beautiful view from the room of the large swimming pool. - Directly on the sea, close to Hurghada (approx. 20 min. drive) - Excellent food and cocktails all inclusive! - Many options a la carte restaurants, but reserve 1 day in advance via QR code. - WiFi works well almost everywhere. - You can walk to the nearby hotels and also use the facilities at Sunrise.
Tip: visit Al Gouna with an Uber to enjoy a delicious meal at the harbour, for example at Barten restaurant (sushi). Please note: when ordering Uber, the driver is often asked to cancel and pay by cash. Some don't do this. Yet a ride to Al Gouna only cost us 350 EGP, about €10 (45 min. drive). Please note: you need your passport to enter Al Gouna due to a check post at the entrance.
Tip: at Cleopatra Spa (approx. 20 minutes drive) you can book a nice (duo) massage for €15 pp, 60 minutes. It looks a bit remote when you arrive, but the massage is nice and the people are friendly. Uber there costs about €2. This is much cheaper than the spa at the resort.

We don't really understand the many positive reviews. Our experience was a bit different. There is a lot to say about SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace Resort. Most waiters and especially our cleaning man Mohamed did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are clean and value for money definitely okay. The complex itself is large and that means that you always have to do some walking work and that it is quite busy. Finding a quiet spot is difficult at the pool. We usually retreated to the sea (with a red flag, which meant you wanted to be left alone). The hotel gives a well-kept impression. There is certainly investment... BUT, there are too many employees of the hotel who treat the guests with disrespect and that is really not possible! The sellers of the shops, the employees of the beauty salon and even the seller of the smoothies on the beach use aggressive selling techniques and are extremely unfriendly when you indicate that you do not want to buy anything (or only want 1 drink instead of a subscription to smoothies). It even goes so far as to insult you. The restaurant is good in itself, but the setup is somewhat chaotic (and noisy). There's no mayonnaise near fries (that's a long way down the road from the lettuce, if it's available at all). The à la carte restaurants could be better. When you eat in an à la carte restaurant, they bring all the courses right after each other. Cozy! Not so (then ask yourself to pass on the kitchen to wait what was respected). In most à la carte restaurants there is no mayonnaise available (so go buy mayonnaise yourself). French fries without mayonnaise really don't go for Belgians. There is also no sparkling wine available anywhere, no Diet Coke. You just expect a little more from a 5 star hotel. We really liked the Mexican and Japanese restaurant. The rest could use some improvement. The pool bar at the Spanish restaurant also did not want to serve people in the pool even though chairs are provided (several people were just waiting and some climbed over the chairs themselves to order dripping at the bar). Another thing: I wanted to surprise my husband with a duo massage for our wedding anniversary but because the man from the spa kept pushing to take 5 duo massages (wtf!), I ended up not taking any. For us, the hotel is only worth 4 stars.

The hotel has a large area, and I appreciate that the hotels have a large area, and of course it is open to the Garden Beach, so you have the advantage of enjoying the services of the two hotels together. It has space here and there, and you can also enter the Cristal but without benefiting from its services. Mamlouk’s lobby is beautiful and the base in the heritage at night with the heaters is very beautiful. The marina is amazing, but it is closer to a garden. We used to go to the beach by golf car. The treatment of the staff was wonderful, and I especially mention the restaurant staff, of course. The receptionist, Mr. Hassan, was the first person who received us, and he was extremely tasteful, polite, and ethical, as well as Miss Najwa and Miss Sarah. I liked that they were veiled and modest, unlike all the hotels we used to go to before. For me, the food was the weak point! The food in the Garden was much better, so I preferred to eat there. Also, the house keeping is not at the best level, which means that after receiving the room you feel like it is a well-furnished room in your home, not a hotel room at all! In general, I recommend staying at Mamlouk and eating at Garden. A garden like a hotel design is not very nice, and you feel that there is something wrong with it! Although it is new, I did not like the color of the paint, nor did the video look good at all.

Another amazing stay at Mamlouk Palace! (I think this was my 11th or 12th visit).
We were delighted to find some of our old favourite animation team members (Honda & Power) had returned, as they are amazing at making us smile & have the best energy. Overall the animation team were very friendly & entertaining including Kareem, Mido, Yousef, Maria & Julia from kids club. Sorry, I don't remember all their names to credit them.
Entertainment in the evening was good too, (although we still miss the old animation dance shows). It would be great to have them do an evening dance show, even if just once a week. There's something special about watching people you've got to know a little up on stage showcasing their talents & they hold the children's attention better as the kids recognise them too.
I love it here as I have limited mobility & everything is easily accessible for me. The only recommendation I can give the hotel is to advertise the lift at reception more. We observed some senior citizens struggling with the stairs until we told them about the lift. It isn't obvious it is there & just needs a couple of signs to make people more aware.
We mostly ate in the food court which has lots to offer & allows you to eat whenever you want to, but it's always nice to get away from the hustle & book an Ala Carte restaurant too.
We ate in the Manzoku Asian restaurant, which is my personal favourite. Manzoku is always an enjoyable experience as the food, service & atmosphere is lovely. We all had the satay chicken starter & I had sweet & sour chicken with rice, which my 9 year old daughter enjoyed this time too. (She has always eaten from the kids menu in the past but was open to trying the chicken & loved it). For dessert, the banana fritters are gorgeous. Compliments to the team & especially Chef Samir who is an amazing chef & a great asset to Mamlouk Palace.
We also ate in the Spanish ala carte restaurant (which is the pool bar during the day). I had tuna starter & a steak main. Lovely food & great, friendly service here too.
Bakes & shakes was a lovely experience in the day, they do burgers & crepes with a range of savoury & sweet fillings.
As always, the room was cleaned daily. The whole resort is immaculately clean & the gardeners do a great job of keeping the grounds looking beautiful.
Every member of staff we met was friendly & always available to help with anything, from the towel guys by the children's pool, the beach & splash pool bar staff & the main restaurant staff. We never had any problems & found everyone to be attentive to our needs.
We were here for Christmas eve & they made a really spectacular effort to celebrate with music, dancing & food festival. They even had a visit from Santa on a camel handing out gifts for all the children on the beach, they were so happy.
Mamlouk Palace is my happy place & we will be back again soon. I doubt any other hotel could match the experience we have here every single time. Thank you to everyone at Mamlouk Palace!

We were in Egypt for the first time, a travel agent recommended this hotel to us. Of course, this year the sea is cold and this is a big minus, it is also windy, but the most interesting thing is that on the hotel grounds in different places it is windy in different ways, somewhere there is a strong wind, and in some places there is no wind at all! A big plus is the heated pools and water park! There are not many places by the pool, so we took our seats at 10 o’clock. After that they were gone, even better at 9. We had food on the buffet I liked it, I wanted more variety of cereals in the morning, at least change the assortment, there are always lines for omelettes, but they are delicious! The chef also makes a delicious sandwich in the morning! We really liked the rice) they always took it as a side dish! The meat is cooked deliciously, the red fish steaks are very tasty! We were really full of shrimp. We also liked the mango and guava juices. There wasn’t much variety of fruit. There were also always queues for coffee. We also liked the food in the restaurants, it’s a pity we didn’t manage to visit them all. We also celebrated the New Year at the hotel and We were at an amazing banquet, I was amazed by the scale and presentation of the dishes, so much abundance!!! The chefs were great! But we didn’t like the show itself and the seating at the tables, you sit and look at the monitor, you need to do the show and seat people differently somehow .I would have liked fireworks on New Year's Eve with the chimes, but there was a fire in the tent, it was really hot from it and something like a sparkler from the ceiling. I also liked the work of the animators, they always came and warned that there was going to be a show or such and such event .The rooms were also well cleaned! The area is green, there are a lot of flowers and there are a lot of places where you can walk. The downside is that the playground has strange slides, they don’t go at all... there are some kind of stickers there. There were no slippers or brushes in the room toothpaste. Otherwise everything is fine, we were satisfied!

As it’s a huge resort it depends on preference
We stayed a bit further away from the pool area on 2nd floor due to being away from the noise
On one side it’s the restaurant and the other side it’s the beach in between it’s heated pool area and activities happening
There are more places to choose from in the Hurghada area.
