Le pacha is my favorite hotel in HRG for years now and for many reasons. I would not change it for a 5star hotel and always plan to come back. But just I hope they will go back to the same kind of food they used to serve before corona. This year i did not enjoy food at all whereas i used to look forward my every meal after very active day at sea. Hope to come bacj
Terrible Location, very unfriendly reception, whether they ignore you completely, or you get told to sit down and wait. You can spend your time repelling countless flies that land on you. If youre lucky, they didnt forget about you. Security will search you everytime you enter the Hotel (only if you look "western") They seized our Shisha-tobacco and stole our Shisha with equipment from our room! The Rooms are really worn down and in serious need for restauration. None of us has black long hair. The sheets had stains on them and we found used Ear-cleaners under the fridge, yummy. The Food is simply not edible, ive lost 2kg in 8 days, also intense toilet experiences caused by the stuff they are serving. Relax at the Beach? Not without being harrassed by many salesman who want to sell safaris/massages and even cocktails you get for free at the bar. Beer is served in plastic cups, that are washed and reused, sometimes beer taste like dishwashing soap and you have some ladys lipstick on them.yuck. At dusk, the Plants get flooded with some kind of sewage water which fills the air with nice fecal stench. 80% moslem guests, at daytime, the pools are filled with obese burkas. there is trash in the whole area laying around, empty cups, emptied plates with used cutlery laying around for days. Ask yourself if it wouldnt be better to stay at home at all, if 20Eur/night is all you can spend for holiday. Read my detailed reviews for recommendations to avoid scam.…
No problems getting here.all very easy.its very hot as expected for july but evenings are great..most places are open to travellers.i came via heathrow london to cairo.then cairo hurghada via egypt air.
For a 3* Hotel its a real great place. Ok, the rooms are a bit old but clean. There is no Geraman TV, which I do not need anyway. § weeks no TV at all. For people who want to walk in the evenings its perfects, as it is right in the center of Hurghada. Lots of local shps and restaurants , the new Marina in 15 min walking distance. We been there 10+ times. Would alsways go back. Dinner is goood, lunch as well but I eat lunch outside as we are on the Sea.
Me and my fam have been to Egypt many times before so we kinda know what to expect. LePacha at first impression is a bit tired resort but in the end it felt like home and during your stay you might see them painting walls or repairing balconies. So getting better every day :D Our check in was fastest we have ever had in Egypt, everybody were very helpful, a guy at reception spoke very good English and understood everything perfectly what we asked. He even let us choose what rooms and where we want them. So we got nice rooms on first floor exactly at the centre of resort - not so much to walk to restaurant and not so much to the beach either. Our rooms were clean and cozy, got a lot of closets and shelves. The cleaner boy was very friendly and even when we didn't leave him any tip he still made some sheet statues on our beds and organized our stuff on the table. Food was good and with all-in there was always some place offering it anytime at daylight. Some nights they had cultural evenings so we got Egyptian type food one day, the other day we got Mexican food - quesadillas, bolognese, tequila etc. You even get one free dinner at their fancier restaurant but I warn you that food is better there so if you don't want to ruin your appetite then leave the free meal for the last night ;D So, food was good and I am sure that everybody will find something tasty there. Bar was one of the best all-in bars of the Egypt 3-4 star hotels ive been. They had vodka, brandy, whiskey, tequila, rum, gin and beer. Yeah, it's not that strong alco and isn't as good as bottles from your local liquor store but for a week or two that will be just fine. If you make some friends at the bar they even make you special coctails. They also had a very good variety of soft drinks. These even tasted as good as they should not like sprite mixed with water which i got from the other hotel. Beach was clean and had a big bar& dining area. They also have two pools one is warm and have waterslides (would reccomend was fun) the other one is cold. At the beach it's common that they come and offer you spa procedures or trips etc but they all were really friendly and understood if we said that sorry we are not in the mood to discuss it right now. Massage at the spa was really good, I'd say one of the best ones in my life. Me and my father were lucky cus we got a very good massagists. My sister wasnt so lucky - her massage was very good but the girl was stopping and leaving the room after every few minutes. So it depends who will massage you ;) At the first days I didn't really notice the animation team. I was wondering if they even have a one. But then we found hotel show room and the shows got better with every night. They had bellydancers, people from circus, dance nights etc. Every night we had a karaoke or disco night but they always ended before the midnight not to disturb peace. On the daytime they had volleyball tournaments and dance lessons. I liked their program but I have seen a better one. Maybe the show and activities depends of the visitors too or the animatiors are just starting to get in the right shape - who knows. But in conclusion it was really nice hotel, with very nice and caring staff, everything was under control and guests were treated with respect. Just a reminder that it's about you too and how you treat the people who are working for your good. If you are looking for a western 4 star hotel then I wouldn't reccomend that place to you but if you are not that picky, happy with your good all-in vacay life, like our family, you will have a wonderful time there. …
