It was a brilliant holiday as it always. we got constantly very good service. The staff is so friendly and they remember us, it's amazing. Even the managers remember us and they do a brilliant job. We can't wait to be back next year. It feels like coming home. The food was really good and the cocktails are always well done. May be the best from our many stays in Egypt. Stuff in the pool bar and beach bar are always happy they are always willing and polite... Rooms are nice and cleaned everyday, towel animals are lit in the bed everyday.. the Hotel has a lot of green areas. Special thank you to Entertainment team who made every day special by their activities, stretching, yoga, waterpolo, volley ball, aqua gym, Boccia and darts. They make amazing shows everyday and they are always happy and did so much for us to have a "wow" holiday.Thank you to the managers, all the staff in the restaurant, the lobby bar, the room cleaners, the gardeners, and everybody else. There is only one word to describe the people there "Amazing".

From we arrive to the hotel everyone were so nice and friendly helpful . The reception was so fast for our check in they gave us very nice room with nice view thanks so much . The restaurant everyday they have different things for money which we paid is so amazing we will never have the same choice in our home with this money it’s amazing . The housekeeping was very good everyday make a new looking and very clean everything . Entertainers and entertainment wow they were all amazing everyday a lot of activity and different shows I would like to say that is best team I have ever meet thanks guys for made my holiday thanks for the shows at night and for bellydance everyday now I can dance bellydance 😍 and the beach was so cool as well we liked is 3 minutes from the hotel with the shuttle bus I recommend royal lagoon is lovely amazing and nice for the amount which you pay ❤️

I got the most horrible experience one can expect from the hotel. Paid for superior room - got a very small room where we, family of 3, couldn't fit. Though website of the hotel says its 48m, it was just one bed fitting in it. Hotel was 30% occupied, plenty of free rooms, but after 3 times requests in reception to change the room - no result. Food is awful. Literally nothing to choose from. Stomachache all 1 week of vacations. Restaurant is dirty, shortage of forks/spoons/glasses, dirty table clothes. Animation: chef animation appeared only at 2-3pm still sleepy. During entertainment he talked to guests in a familiar rude manner. Girls, boys, dj are nice but have no program at all. When addressed reception about changing the room for the third time, got even a bigger problem. Receptionist, Adel, with black rotten teeth from smoking, has a plan of how to spoil the life of a guest in the hotel if the guest insists to change the room. He is an artist of dirty games with the guests. The same day my towel strangely disappeared at the pool and Adel demanded me to pay for it. The next day, during check out, Adel didn't take the all-inclusive bracelet from me (I didn't know that it had to be picked up by reception, nobody told me and Adel didnt take it from me on purpose, as i realized after). After the check-out, when i was waiting for the pick up, Adel sent to me an Operations manager, Mr. Samir, who approached me with round eyes, shouted and screamed at me like a wild animal "to get out of the hotel or he will bring a police!!! Samir shouted and blamed me that the bracelet on my wrist was stolen by me from somebody because during the check-out this bracelets are taken by reception. (Remember that receptionist Adel didnt take it from me, on purpose?) So, this was my vacation. Small room (though I paid for superior), awful food (stomachache) and as a farewell the Operations Manager threw me out, insulted me, shouted at me and blamed me that i got a bracelet from somewhere myself after check-out. Never again Royal Lagoons!!!!! This hotel doesn't know what hospitality means. They don't even know what simple politeness means. Awful. Horrible. I will not forget this vacation. My friend and I went to for a birthday get away. Originally not the hotel booked but due to thomas cook package cancelled last minute ended booking this hotel and paying double the amount...what a waste of money. Arrived at hotel 11.45pm and got cold left over rice and stale bread for late dinner. Then was told need to pay for drinks after 11pm. Reception staff so rude it was disgusting. No manners at all. Bar staff in the evening spoke no english at in the lobby. Kept asking us for money. Just make the bloody drink or shall I make it myself. Food was extremely poor. What you are at lunch you got in the evening. Same everyday. No change in style...I mean you can make thousand dishes with chicken but all you got was boiled chicken legs. Soup was water with stock cubes. Plates chipped you could cut yourself. Glasses just rinsed. Could not complain to anyone as no one was interested. Holiday which was suppose to be fun and stress free turned into 7 days of living hell. Ended up with stomach ache and diarrhoea. Not all inclusive at all. Doesnt even deserve a 1* to be honest should shut the place down. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Dear Chetna B Many thanks for your review and for sure we need to clarify the below for you and the other travelers those read your review A- First of all you arrived to the hotel after midnight and as courtesy from the hotel offered cold cuts dinner meanwhile that the late dinner should be requested in advance from your tour operator and your agency representative inform you by this information during the agency meeting B- Your review received after 07 days stayed at our resort and on second of your arrival date within less 11 hours from your arrival time during the meeting with your agency and our Front Office Manager , it was clear that our arrived with plan to move to another hotel with request that Royal Lagoons have to pay the different and when all of the said comments within less than 10 hours from your arrival to the hotel , you and your partner refuse to pay the different to another hotel special that all of your requested services you are looking not stated on the contracted All-Inclusive Concept which you are aware by it once you made our hotel booking !!!!! You start your holidays asked for free late check-out , free Imported Alcoholic Drinks ,Free Use of Fast Food Section and Fresh Juices ,was very clear that we are on blackmail situation from you and your partner side C- For your attention that during your stay day by day we update your service provider with your stay status special that you start to talked to another guests ,most of them are repeater and you was willing to push them to create issues to enjoyed free service D- For the Point of Rude Reception, defiantly when you asked for Free Late Check-Out till 10 PM free and your team inform you by our policy for the late check-out and inform you with the applied fees, THAT’S not mean they are rude, that’s mean they follow policy which is clear for all as well as it’s not our Responsibility that you book short stay and looking for full night complimentary as you book LATE FLIGHT !!! Was clear from first moment, you and your partner made such situation to have the said charged service and we are wounding as long as you have such feeling since first moment , why not proceed with your request to change the hotel !!!! looking forward to welcoming you at Hurghada soon
