For the 6th time my husband and I recently stayed in Arabella, this for the first time in an oceanview room. Unfortunately, our stay did not start flawlessly. The first room we got was right above the restaurant, which caused quite a lot of noise, both morning and evening. The noise from the kitchen and guests eating downstairs made it difficult to sleep. Moreover, the balcony was bricked up higher so you only had an "ocean view" if you stood upright, that was disappointing.

When my husband reported this to reception, he was told that there were no other oceanview rooms available, only rooms with pool views. We found this unacceptable, especially since we paid extra for the ocean view in Belgium. Fortunately, we met a lady from guestrelations later on the beach, and after we explained our situation, a solution came along. We really appreciated this, because even though we have been going to Arabella Azur for 10 years, this is the first time that guestrelations really took action. Our thanks for that!

However, there were some other downsides during our stay. For example, if you wake up early in the morning and enjoy a coffee at the beautiful sunrise and then go to breakfast, you risk having your personal items removed from your sunbed on the beach. When we reported this to the beach employee and security, they knew nothing and we were directed to the reception. There we had to wait a long time and then also fill in the form as if we had lost our stuff ourselves. This was a frustrating experience.

What also bothered us was that some guests changed after snorkeling on the beach, in the middle of the relaxed sunbathers. This is downright inappropriate, especially in a country like Egypt where more respect for local culture is expected. Changing booths are available a short distance away, so there is no need to change on the beach. Staff should also be more vigilant about this.

However, what makes this hotel special and why we come back again and again is the staff. They are incredibly welcoming, work long hours in the heat and do everything to please the guests. The rooms are always clean, the beds neatly made and we got fresh towels daily.

All in all, we had a nice holiday and look forward to returning again next year. Hopefully the minor inconveniences, such as changing clothes on the beach, will be addressed, because that sometimes ruins the beautiful view.

I'm coming here for the second time and it's another great holiday. Located right on the hotel's own reef, great for snorkeling beginners, the entertainment is great but not too intrusive. The rooms are relatively large and always clean, since this year there is also room service for an additional charge if you want and the food tastes great, local cuisine from different countries every evening, Asian, Arabic, Egyptian, etc. I can only recommend it.

Absolutely the best hotel I have been. From the moment you step into reception, you are treated like royalty. My husband and I stayed for two weeks at Arabella Azur, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our sea view room quite close to the all-inclusive restaurant, which served really delicious food every single day. There were 2 pools to select, but we preferred to be near the perfectly clear salt water. My husband likes to snorkel, and he said the water was crystal clear with an abundance of fish. The restaurant stuff was exceptional, tables cleared, and cleaned promptly, and always smiling and genuinely happy to see us. Housekeeping was amazing. Everything's done to a very high standard. The gardeners were always happy and smiling even when the weather was really windy and hot. The colourful reef was right at your door. You know when you say," I wonder what the other half is doing." Well, we felt like the other half. I can't fault the hotel. Even lying on the sunbeds, if you didn't want to be disturbed, you could get a little red flag to put on your sunbed.

We can definitely recommend this hotel. My husband and I stayed here for a week in May 2024. Really enjoyed the food and the whole ambience of the resort. No need to worry about travelling to Egypt - this hotel takes security very seriously. No one gets in through the barrier unless they show the relevant documentation and we had to show our wristbands before we got in. Plenty of security around the premises day and night. Our room was a promo room but it had ample space and a balcony with a washing line. Only thing to bear in mind was the step up to the beds if someone has limited mobility. In the main restaurant there was plenty of choice and the food was plentiful, always being renewed. Local drinks are included in all inclusive until 12 midnight then you have to pay but the alcohol was not expensive if you want to have a late night. The shows in the theatre were excellent but they only last half an hour. We thought that was a bit short. The waiters were friendly and hard working, always keeping the tables clean and cleared and the rooms were cleaned every day. We got a taxi to the old town which cost us 200 egyptian pounds but a few days later we got to know that we could get it for 100 egyptian pounds. The taxis will wait around for you at no extra cost. We went to the shopping mall one morning which was very large and there was a Spinneys supermarket there. The day trip to the Valley of the Kings was a long day but definitely worth the trip. All of the organized trips pick you up outside the hotel. We would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.

We stayed at the Arabella from 6.-20.6.24. Loosely arranged white houses in Nubian style with 2-3 floors and lots of greenery in between, a very well maintained complex! Our room C 121 was spacious and from the terrace you had a view of the beach and the sea. Thanks to Mohamed, who always cleaned our room brightly, conjured wonderful decorations and was always friendly. The complex is extensive, so despite a full house it is nowhere overcrowded. 2 pools and several beach sections are available, we also always found a place, thanks to the pool boys. A main restaurant and 2 others left nothing to be desired for the main meals. The food was fresh, subtly seasoned, hot was signposted accordingly. Every evening there is a different theme in the restaurant, international, Arabic, Egyptian, Turkish, Asian, Seafood etc. The cake buffets were sensational! Between meals there were snacks, ice cream, drinks etc., actually food and drink around the clock. Various bars and the Om Kolthoum Cafe on the rooftop invite you to linger. A word about the cocktails: yes, they are not included in AI, but hey, they only cost 1.50 euros! And... you don't have to order them. Thanks to our nice guest attendant Brisca, with whom we had many great conversations, we found out that about 300 employees are on duty around the clock to give us a great holiday. Accordingly, you should also treat each one like this....service providers are not footsteppers and are also happy about a greeting and a nice word! Thanks to all the staff, even those you don't see. The animation team was just perfect! Never intrusive, always time for a small talk and what the boys and girls do...hats off! Greetings to Mickey and everyone else, keep it up! Conclusion: an all-round successful holiday in a great environment and with super friendly service. This was by far the best hotel in 10 years Egypt! This is certainly not the last time we have been here!
Another word on my own: there were some things I noticed, but for which the hotel is not responsible. Dear guests, 1. even if you have booked AI, you do not have to load your plate with food as if there is nothing left tomorrow and then let more than half go back. Please take a look behind the scenes, many locals often cannot afford meat or similar and it is wasted here. 2. I find it very good that the cats in the hotel have feeding points and are also neutered or sterilized. Nothing against a treat you bring from home. But that I had to see every day that stacks of sausage are packed from the buffet and then fed outside and the cats don't eat it anymore, that can't be done at all, same comment as on item 1. 3. it is normal for me not to appear in the restaurant with bathing suits or similar, there is even a notice on the front door... unfortunately not all guests take that into account.

A beautiful and spacious complex with many opportunities to relax, swim and snorkel! The facility is kept in top condition by gardeners and cleaners and friendly conversations with the employees create a familiar and familiar atmosphere! We have already stayed 7 times in this romantic hotel with its impressive architectural style, which also impresses with its varied food and a central location!
We would like to thank all employees! Each individual should be mentioned by name and praised here, as everyone contributes to a successful holiday
For rare complaints that are dealt with immediately, there are 2 excellent guest relations staff who will deal with every concern and ensure that the feel-good atmosphere is not spoiled!
Shukran for everything!

Great Hotel really spacious with lots of options of places to eat, sunbathe, shop, spa, diving, gym, tennis too many to mention. Better than I had anticipated with such a relaxed feel.
You must try all restaurants, including the 2 a la carte, the Lebanese is worth the 12euro extra and the Bordeins you pay for drinks but not expensive. It was my friends birthday and they sang and presented her with a massive cake. What a lovely treat
The staff everywhere are so helpful and friendly. The gardens, pool, rooms are all immaculate constantly being cleaned and maintained. Heated pool is a bonus.
We used the spa for a Hammam package with 4 massages well worth every penny.
The animation team are fabulous, banana Joe and Anna especially. We went to the shows most nights and were very good. They could’ve been advertised better though.
Things that could’ve been improved: there’s no WiFi in bedrooms. There’s also smoking allowed in all bars which is horrible. No wine in the theatre bar, no lemons for drinks. The information on the app has different timings for the restaurants depending on what you click on so be careful. We missed breakfast and lunch because of this.

The hotel is wonderful! The room is good, the only thing I would like is to be brighter, the windows are quite dark. The restaurant is excellent, the food is very tasty. ! They wrote that the attitude towards Russians was bad, but we didn’t notice. Everyone is very friendly! The animation is trying to work, wish you a good show in the evening! A beach for every taste: you can enter the sea from a gentle slope, or from the stairs. Saw dolphins on the reef! The room cleaning is good, they wash everything and put water on it and make figures out of towels! We are very pleased!

Loved this hotel. Laid out like a village, nothing high rise, so it didn’t feel too busy. There are two pools plus a children’s pool with plenty of sun-loungers. Food available at certain times on the beach and at the small pool but its proximity to the big pool is just a few steps away so easy to get a pizza or ice cream. There are several bars including a German bar all serving excellent coffees and cocktails. A rooftop Shisha bar opens in the evening. Drinks menus on the tables in all the bars for anything not included in the all inclusive package, which was really helpful. All charges are put on your room bill so no cash exchanges hands. The beach has a drinks service which is really nice to have while you’re enjoying a book lying on the beach beds. Entertainment at 9pm every evening made a nice change with themed nights. Such friendly staff who looked after us very well. The new (only worked here for 9 weeks) and extremely friendly Customer Relations lady helped us with a couple of queries we had and we felt very assured that they had our best interest at heart. The hotel will arrange taxis to take you if you want to go into Hurghada as we did to visit the lovely Waves restaurant on the Marina. The hotel food in the buffet restaurant had a good choice as well as salads and a lunchtime pasta chef who created fabulous meals to your personal liking, he was extremely friendly with a sense of humour. There was a different theme each evening where the staff dressed in appropriate costumes and gives you a chance to try different food. Inside the hotel is situated The Lebanese restaurant for a 5 course meal for 15€ per person was exceptional, and the free Italian restaurant which was good, all have to be pre booked. House wine, red and white are very good, but there are bottles of local wine available to purchase at a very reasonable price, our favourite was a Rose wine called Omar Khayyam. If sport is your thing then the many TVs in the bars can provide you with live coverage so you don’t need to miss your favourite team games. Outside the hotel, but within the complex are shops, pharmacy and a very good restaurant called Bordhiens where Azure guests can order two courses free (with other choices at an extra charge), wine could be purchased at reasonable prices. We enjoyed this hotel and holiday so much that we have booked for next year.

My stay at the Arabia Azur was simply exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff, always attentive and attentive to meet all my expectations. The cleanliness of the establishment is impeccable, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The variety and quality of the dishes offered at the restaurant were also there, with authentic flavors that made me travel with every meal. Finally, the swimming pools and their beaches are beautiful and perfectly maintained, offering an ideal setting to relax under the Egyptian sun. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday!
