Hi there I’m currently here at present for one week through easyjet from belfast. Shared transfer from airport to hotel was about five minutes drive. Once at the hotel the service you get is 5 star and beyond. Rooms we were on ground floor as partner has a walking stick. No lifts just so anyone knows with mobility issues. Room is spotless. Beds are firm but I like that. Pillows are fantastic and air con is free and extremely good. Weather is in the 30 degrees daily but with. Light wind. There is full security and staff everywhere around the hotel who are fantastic at their jobs. Out the back of hotel is a stunningly beautiful promenade lined with shops lights hotels and 4 and 5 star food establishments. We are all inclusive here but because it is so so cheap food etc to eat out is no more than 20 pound a couple for 2 mains drinks and desserts. We go to the snack bar during the day for our lunch tip the waiters and staff if u can they really do appreciate it. I will post menus in their snack bar. Food has been on point each time with a huge selection. Again all part of the all inclusive option. No problem getting sun beds and going to the beach is a five minute walk through the sister hotel the Hotel the jaz out the back. What can I say other than the lifeguard takes your bags lays ur towel and polishes ur sunglasses felt like a celebrity. Room service every morning the little lad laid our bed folded our belongings left towels on bed with flower petals. In terms of drinks cocktails I will post menus but 10/10. This place deserves to be be 5 star plus. I see why it’s 5/5 on trip advisor if your considering it don’t think about it just do it!! I am returning very very soon as Egypt has been my most favourite yet and I’m a worldwide traveller.

As we come to the end of our 10 days here i just had to write about our experiences. This is our second visit to this hotel, almost 5 years to the day since our first holiday here. We remembered having a lovely relaxing time in 2019 so it was a no brainer to come back. There are several aspects to the hotel that make it stand out for us. The first is the staff, honestly we have never been anywhere (and we’ve traveled quite extensively) where the staff have literally ALL been so pleasant, happy and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, it’s clear they all enjoy their work very much. Special thanks to Ibrahim at the pool bar by Little Italy. What a guy, our glasses were rarely empty, always happy to refill them with a smile and the happiest of dispositions. Another favourite place is Little Italy, a lovely place for lunch with amazing food and again great service. This is also open in the evening for a meal once during your stay. The menu at night is different and absolutely divine food, the steak is particularly good. The same waiters as in the day so they must work extremely long hours, but treat everyone so well from the start of their shift to the end. This time of year is fairly quiet so there’s never a problem getting a sunbed, a table in the dining room or served at the bar and because its not at capacity it feels incredibly chill. The food in the main dining room is plentiful, varied and quite clearly prepared by chefs who definitely know what they’re doing. We honestly didn’t have a mediocre meal, let alone a bad one. Again ALL the waiters were brilliantly attentive and cheerful. This time round we have a room on the road side of the hotel. Its quite noisy, thankfully I brought earplugs but next time we’ll definitely request a room away from the constant revving and honking. Some nights it felt like a racetrack on fast and furious! My only little niggle from the whole 10 days was the mattress on the bed is too hard for my preference. We asked for a topper after a couple of days which was provided no problem but didn’t make a massive difference. Our bed at home is extremely soft so this felt like sleeping on the floor to me, but again its MY personal preference and not the hotels fault. Our room was kept beautiful clean, towels changed daily and 2 large bottles of drinking water provided daily. I brought my own kettle etc but no need as it was all provided, i had completely forgotten. Last but not least reception and the lobby bar. Both well run, well staffed, and amazing latte and strawberry mojito’s. There was also a singer or musician in there every night for entertainment. We’ll be sad to leave tomorrow but know we’ll definitely be back, and this time before 5 years have passed.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
Have just returned from a week away with my boyfriend and we had the best time. The hotel is small which means that the staff are able to get to know you and remember you, several times we were approached as they remembered us or something we had said which made us feel so at home. All the staff were so lovely, helpful and greeted us with a smile.
The food is lovely, the basics such as chips and pizza are often on offer, but there was a range of other foods from all over that world such as chicken and fish dishes, fresh salad and deserts every meal time. One particular waiter, Abu, was so friendly and lovely and always made sure our glass of Pepsi was never empty whilst in the dining area - such a lovely and funny guy, thank you for all that you did. Poolside snack bar was also delicious.
On arrival we were offered some food in the restaurant at 1am which I thought was so thoughtful as it was a long day of travelling.
The room was cleaned daily and we were given 2 fresh bottles of water. TV on the wall showing films and the news etc. The bed was a little bit hard but didn’t impact my sleep. The air con was a lifesaver when we needed a break from the heat. Our room was directly opposite the lift which did “chime” every time someone used it but again, unless you really paid attention to it, it could be ignored. WiFi was the best I’ve experienced in a hotel and could access it everywhere from the rooms to the poolside.
The animation team are lovely and always had some kind of activity on offer. As we wanted a relaxed week away we didn’t participate in the activities but felt that we were asked more than others to go and join in so sometimes felt that it was difficult to say no. We were also asked to complete a review on the second day which was quite hard to do as we were still getting familiar with the hotel - might be better to do these towards the end of people holidays as we felt obligated to complete them.
There are a few shops directly outside of the hotel selling souvenirs and snacks such as crisps. The private beach is less than a 10 minute walk across the road in the Jaz complex, although we didn’t spend much time there we went for a look and it’s lovely but quite small so would advise going early if you’d like to get a sunbed.
Choice of 2 pools, one where the animation team and games take place and the other is quieter. Swim up pool bars in both pools and 3 water slide in between them which are so fun but 2/3 are fast! You can see the gardeners and pool maintenance workers making sure the pool and gardens are kept up to standard daily.
This hotel really is a gem and perfect if you want to be in a smaller hotel, I’d definitely stay here again.

I wouldn't give this hotel a rating of 1, the experience I had here was awful, the staff are very rude, the food is disgusting, it's a buffet style resteraunt, but the selection is very limited..it's the smallest selection of buffet menu I've ever have to experience, the food was very dry or been sitting around for a very long time, even the salads were warm where no-one was eating it. The rooms were ok, kept clean and tidy every day, the pool bars were good, this was the only place I felt comfortable at all at the whole of the hotel, the lobby of the hotel is very shabby and small, they turn off the air conditioning at 10 o clock at night so it's gets very hot and muggy in there. At 12pm the all inclusive stops serving which is stated in the hotel documents, but you have to argue with them if you want to bye a drink afterward. Because the bar staff completely turn off all machines, including the soft drink pumps and empty all the ice compartments for clean downs. So when you do bye a 5 euros drink, you won't get any ice...a complete joke I should be able to bye a drink anytime of the night, when ever I want to. Any decent hotel always keeps a bar open in the hotel so guests can have a drink whenever they want.., and Finally, the entertainment. I was at this hotel for a week, I only saw one act that was in English, and that was a solo artist singer directly outside the lobby, there was entertainment going on, on the otherside of the hotel, but this was always catered for the French quests, every night the French guests got entertained but the English quest got nothing.. in my opinion.....if you want a good holiday, please stay clear of this resort. You will have the worst holiday of your entire life..xxx

From arriving to leaving we had a great experience at the lovely Iberotel. We were greeted with a drink and a cleansing towel at reception, where you are asked to take a seat whilst booking in, no standing at the counter here. Your luggage is whisked away to be delivered to the room, at the same time you are introduced to your room. The rooms are cleaned every day if you require it and towels are changed daily, your room is decorated with towels most days. Every member of staff greets you every time you pass and asks if you require anything, this is not merely a box ticking routine if you mention anything, you get it, from your room cleaner to the senior managers. There are two pools one quiet and very bracing, the other warmer and busier. Each pool has a snack and drinks bar next to it. For more substantial snacks, the Italian along with the main restaurant are open at lunchtimes. The main restaurant opens for breakfast lunch and evening meals, wine and soft drinks are available, with any further drinks from the adjoining "Little Bar". The choice of dishes is wide and well cooked, with the added availabilty at the a-la-carte Italian (inluded once a week if you are all inclusive). There is entertainment at the busy pool and at the Night club in the evening. A short walk across the enclosed road is the beach access, with snack bar, shared with its sister Jazz Hotel. My wife celebrated her 66th Birthday during our stay and the whole staff joined in singing and providing a complimentary cake, during a celebration meal. Essam our our very enthusiastic cleaner, who decorated the bedroom and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. A big shout out to the bar manager Mostafa Asran, and his staff Abd Elnasser and Abd El Rahman for a constant flow of cocktails and beer, with a smile and a joke. Thanks also to catering mananger Said Hamsa and to the Assistant reception manager and his staff for going beyond and arranging invitations and meals. This is a hotel you will want to return to...

What about this Inn, already we keep saying it Inn on a human scale, no deckchairs to book, always room and even in the pool. Superb water space with Sunbed in the water. Room level, they are spacious, clean and overlooking the pool with a nice view of the outdoor area which is so well maintained by the Pension staff. Pension staff were always careful and cleaning in the room was always done with a little attention (shape in towels). Level buffet food with a little choice to Pension size, correct food for Egyptian food. HOST 5/5, Marmara if you see this, the casa del mar team makes a great team, well done Bastien and your team: Tony (you took good care of little Zélie, the daughter of our friends) and Lauranne also, Agathe (petanque games with max), Manon (tqt you will sunbathe) , Rico (the Norman basketball player) , Haschebel (terrific dancer) , romy (the delegate) you gave us the smiles we didn't have before arriving in hurghada because of the weather in France. You deserve to go to the club you desire during the seasons. Bravo also to the waiter, and cooks of this heat, gardener, wife and housekeeper, lifeguard. I do not forget the Magic World team whose names I do not know which was great and the animators arrive along the way who did the work widely. We kiss you all and we will find our Normandy, q Lisieux. Signed max and charlotte (who sunbathe H24 on his air mattress with Louise the mother of Zélie). PS: The club allowed me to have an extraordinary meeting, we have new friends and we have decided since then to go on holiday together and who knows maybe it will be in this wonderful club.

Hotel to avoid, not secure at all, the staff of this hotel is more than doubtful, having stayed in this hotel alone for 10 days I had the terrible experience of finding a man (hotel staff) entering in my room in the middle of the night lights off without making the slightest noise unfortunately for him the door creaked which luckily woke me up, seeing me get up from my bed he ran away and slammed the door. I should point out that I was alone so I think that a girl alone in a room was an opportunity for him to be able to come there more peacefully and do what he had in mind. I directly contacted reception and told them what had just happened. They took almost 40 minutes to come and tell me that I shouldn't worry while telling me that they didn't know who was coming in. in my room.. No gesture from management, no surveillance, nothing at all. The worst experience I've ever had in my life, not to mention the food that will cause you either a forced diet or stomach aches. I had to remind the housekeeping staff because it was shoddy, they had to be reminded to order it to be cleaned properly, it's a disastrous service really, I'm not difficult but this experience was traumatic so If I can warn I do so.

We are currently staying here and fly home tomorrow. From arrival our suitcases were taken from us and we were given a warm towel & cold fruit juice We were shown to our rooms, which are very spacious and clean, our cleaner everyday is absolutely brilliant, always had a nice and tidy room with clean towels, our beach towels are changed everyday (just have to leave them outside your room) Food in main restaurant always will find something to eat as there is lots of choices and waiters are very welcoming, polite & helpful Heated pool was a big bonus, bit shout out to Abd in the pool bar was always attentive, replenishing drinks and always very polite Another big shout out to a few of the animation team (Nicol, Marwan & Mans) always very friendly to our children and always got them involved in games, there were always lots for them to do throughout the day The lobby bar always has some entertainment every night and there are main shows, we only attended a couple during our week stay, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the belly dancing The hotel has a small playground & waterslides, which is also a good extra for children. Will definitely come back to this hotel 👍🏻

Having booked this holiday just before Christmas as a holiday to just relax in some sunshine it actually surpassed all our expectations of a mid range priced all inclusive. From the moment you check in the waiter was there asking what you would like to drink. As we had be delayed at LGW dinner was finished but they had a cold cuts buffet so we managed to get something to eat. The food at every sitting was exceptional and there was always something for all tastes and even though it was a buffet restaurant the waiters were there to help and bring drinks including teas and coffee. Mustafa in the pool bar was exceptional and after the first drink always remembered what you were drinking the same went for the guys in the main bar of an evening. The guy who cleaned the room every day was not intrusive at all and if you weren’t ready for him to come in then he was more than happy to come back later. Thank you to everyone at Casa del Mar for making our holiday a fantastic experience

My partner and I have just finished a week away here in Hurghada. We chose the hotel because of the positive reviews and the pleasant pictures displayed on the website. When we arrived we were told little to no information after checking in, we weren’t told where any of the amenities were or what times any of the meals were available, just left to fend for ourselves despite it being dark and not knowing anything. Our room also wasn’t ready upon arrival so were given a twin room for the first night which wasn’t ideal. The rooms are very clean and simple, however there were things that could be added. The mini fridge is stocked but everything inside isn’t included and have to be paid for individually which for an all inclusive I’ve found to not be usual. Very overpriced too, 6 euro for a red bull! The staff seem very tip motivated, which is fair enough, however I found that if you don’t tip from the get go they won’t even attempt to talk or do anything for you at all. We found ourselves being walked past and skipped over whilst watching other couples and families being bought drinks to their tables etc. The majority of the hotel guests are French, like 90%, and therefor all the entertainment and their crew all speak French 24/7. They play French music by the pool and French entertainment in the evenings. Little to no English is spoken all day by any of them. If they approach you it’s in French. When we would reply saying we were English the conversation would quickly end and they would walk away as they said they don’t speak much English. This made us feel very left out almost every day as we wouldn’t even know what activities were going on during the day or in pool as they wouldn’t bother to say it in English after. Same with the entertainment at night, leaving us with nothing to do. There is no wifi available in the rooms and only able to be accessed in reception and in a small area around reception, meaning that it is rammed of an evening and throughout the day with definitely not enough seating to accommodate those wanting to use their phones after not being able to do so. The all inclusive food selection is pretty small compared to other resorts I’ve been to, not tonnes of choice and there is certainly not enough chairs and tables for the amount of guests they have staying at the resort. People would be standing loitering in the middle of the room waiting for tables or wandering around staring at you waiting for you to finish so they could have your table. We found this was the same for all 3 meals of the day. More indoor and outdoor seating is definitely needed as that is just poor. My partner and I both had bad bellies from the second day onwards for the rest of the week and I was sick several times on the last evening. We are yet to decipher what it was that caused the illness. But from the state of the toilets next to the restaurant I would say a lot of people seem to be having the same problem… The hotel opposite is where all the amenities that they advertised on the website actually are. The beach is at the other hotel, as is the spa and the better restaurant. This is disappointing as you wouldn’t expect to be walking 8-10 minutes to the amenities that are listed to be at the hotel you are staying at. I can see and appreciate that all the staff do work very hard however the problems we have found with the hotel you would think it was problems from not being open for very long but it just seems that they are not bothered about it not running as smoothly as it could be. And therefore we would definitely not be returning.

Dear Valuable Guests, Thank you very much for taken the time to share your comments regarding your recent stay with us at Iberotel Casa Del Mar Resort. The service provided to our guests is the primary concern and it would certainly appear that there was a breakdown in the high standards that we endeavor to maintain at the Iberotel Casa Del Mar Resort and at all Jaz hotels and resorts. This is very common in the Egyptian Red sea resorts. The US Dollar is a stable currency and doesn't have the same volatility as Egyptian pounds. That said you can pay in Egyptian pounds in all the shops.
