We have been to this hotel a few times and love it. It is part of a chain of hotels which are next to each other, they are interlinked so you do not need to leave the hotel to visit the one next door.
Bel Azur is adults only but the one next door is not. It is a great set up as you can go to the other hotel and eat there too plus they have lots of facilities including bowling, night club, beach and a range of others. You can also use the bars there too.
The rooms in Azur hotel are large and comfortable, a bit dated but have fridge, hair dryer, air con etc, etc. They leave you water and soft drinks every day as part of the all inclusive.
The food is of a good standard, the usual buffet, BBQ and roast meats etc etc.
There was plenty of sun beds available at all times and you were supplied with pool towels.
The staff are fantastic, so helpful and going the extra mile to make sure everything is OK. The reception staff are so welcoming,
Mr Sayed Awad on reception was very helpful and professional as always. Also the hotel Manager Mr Peter Adel has been very helpful.
I do not know why British and Irish people do not use this hotel as they use the others in the hotel group. This hotel is a little gem, and it would be nice to have English speaking people there too.
We love this hotel.

This hotel was one of the best hotels with most generous and helpful staff. I was with friends and my grandma she has some troubles with moving or walking they offered me a free wheelchair along the vacation and they gave me a pool view suit for the same price as the regular room just to make her the most comfortable. They didn't hesitate to help her and me in every step. The food tastes very good with a lot of variety they ask you if there is any special considerations to tell the chief to make you adequate food. One of my best experiences in hurghada. Mr. Peter the hotel manager was very generous and super nice. Totally recommended if you want best quality for best price. They have beautiful garden and very large pool not to mention the beautiful sea view.

It's my second time visiting the resort as I was there two years ago. So many reasons keep me always wanting to come back. The most significant reason is the excellent hospitality and the friendly treatment of the staff. They are always smiling in your face and willing to help at any time. Ask for Mr. Peter; this guy will do anything to satisfy the guests' needs at any time, all the time. Besides, the reasonable price, the variety of the kitchen among Egyptian oriental cuisine and International cuisine guarantees that there is something for everyone. The pool games and morning exercises guided by Henda are always an excellent start for the day. Easy access to the gym, tennis courts, volleyball court on the beach. The reception also offers networking connections with agents for water activities, safaris, parasailing, and others. Being a guest in Bel Air allows you to have internal access to two other resorts (Arabia & Arabella). This place is highly recommended, especially for families and couples.

OK, this 10-day holiday cost £500 less than an equivalent stay in a Marrakech Riu last year. Five hundred pounds, that’s a fair amount, but the lower price range shows – a lot.

A key to our choice of this hotel was its location – close to the centre of Hurghada, rather than miles outside like the big resort hotels, where you’re a bit trapped in their facilities and could be anywhere in the world. On this basis, the choice was good as we were able to walk in to the city centre, use shops, banks, etc – see a bit of Egyptian life and get the vibe of the place.

Sadly, the cheapness was very evident – the fittings in the room were old and you can only slap on another coat of paint so many times before it starts to look seedy. The beds were hard and the pillows were like bricks. Cleaning of our room was poor and cleaning of the pool area was a case of sprinkling a few cups of water, then spread the dirt evenly with a filthy cloth. WIFI is free in the reception area, costs extra for anything better. The furniture in the dining area was old and looked fairly dirty, the food was limited in choice, repetitive and not wonderful. The drinks (especially wine) were served in micro-quantities and the range of cocktails in the ‘all inclusive’ range was dismal – others were available at extra cost. Most of the waiters & bar staff were pathologically incapable of smiling but exceptions to this were Andrew on Reception and Nikita of the entertainments team – top marks for outstanding customer engagement.

The pool area was beautiful. The long, fairly narrow pool was pretty clean and nicely warm. The sunbeds were old wooden things, but were OK. There’s lots of shade available if that’s what’s wanted. Lunch is served at one end and there’s a bar at the other to which many peeps retired at the end of the afternoon – the buzz was delightful. Happy to say, loud music was not blasted out all day (RIU please note) and sunbathing was relaxing and peaceful – despite too many interruptions by staff trying to sell manicure, pedicures, massage, tattoos and pencil portraits.

I have been in more luxurious hotels, but what sets this hotel apart from others is the extremely pleasant environment for both guests and, of course, all employees. Starting from the reception, the guy who helps with the luggage, everything works perfectly. You get a beach towel card at the reception, and exchange it for a card or a new towel by the pool or on the beach. At the end of your stay, you return the card to the reception. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are also large, shampoo, soap, conditioner, body milk, hair dryer. I have to mention that the room, the bathroom needs to be renovated, the mattress must be more comfortable, you choose the pillow. Praise for the maids, from 1 to 5 rating 5. Every day the room is clean, the bathroom is tidied up, new towels, mini bar water and juice in the all inclusive. Food in the hotel, breakfast, lunch in the main restaurant, dinner by the pool. Wonderful atmosphere. In the restaurant, everything works perfectly, the employees are friendly, everything is clean. You certainly won't stay hungry. Afternoon by the pool bar, cakes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic sandwiches (should be more substantial). Next to the pool bar, there is ice cream on tap. The guy who makes the pizzas deserves all the praise. Fast service, friendly, thank you very much. I hope one of the managers is monitoring the comments and should reward this guy. Service at the pool bar, just as good as the beach bar. Boys on the beach, they don't stop. The service is good, the beach is clean, arranged for adults only and soft music. The beach bar doesn't have sandwiches, ice cream, or cakes in the afternoon, but the Marina Arabia restaurant is excellent if you don't want to go to the main restaurant for lunch. I would like to thank all the employees in the main restaurant, pool bar and beach bar, you made my stay even more pleasant. (Taho, Essem, Mohamed, Mahmud... all of them...). As for the animation team, they are really trying, pleasant and smiling. On entering and leaving the hotel, there is dear Elena across the reception desk, guest relation. Thank you dear Elena for all the information. Kind, smiling, professional, always ready to help. If you want a later check-out from the hotel, please let us know 24 hours earlier and it will be charged an additional 30 euros until 6 p.m. Hotel to recommend, relationship quality, service, price at a high level.

My husband and I spent 11 nights at this hotel and we cannot fault it! Rooms are lovely and clean, fresh towels every day made into towel art , mini fridge stocked up with bottles of water, coke and Sprite every day. Food is good, always different theme nights, Egyptian night was far the BEST one! Staff are really friendly and always willing to help. The cocktails were amazing. The beach and the sea are absolutely stunning! You must bring a snorkel with you as they have some breathtaking coral reefs! We snorkeled for hours. The other thing that we thought was very good at this hotel was the security, they always made sure that we were taking the right taxi (we used Uber alot as it was very cheap and convenient) or when we were going on the day trip they already knew who was gonna pick us up. They ask you what place you're going too and your room number so its for your own safety.
Overall we had a fantastic time here and are already thinking of coming back!

Our stay at the Bel air adults only hotel . Firstly the hotel is not geared up for the British holiday maker as speaking English is not there strong point but that does not take anything away from the service provided by all of the staff from cleaners, bar waiters , towel man reception staff and all . The hotel entrance is on the street and unlike a lot of hotels in Hurghada where you arrive through gated security and into a grand entrance, but again once inside the Bel air hotel you wouldn't know as all the rooms face towards the pool area which have plenty of sunbeds and bar area . Rooms are tired but kept really clean by our very inobstrusive cleaner . the beach in the adults only area was great with lovely outlook over a type of lagoon that was accessable by steps to the sea . Again there is a beach bar on the beach and an eating place further down a walkway that's juts further out towards the open waters . My tip would be use this place to eat in the evening as it doubles up at night as the Pattaya oriental restaurant, you do have to pay extra but it's very cheap for the standard of food and service you get . 1200 Egypt pound that's around £33 gets you a seafood mixed grill with Lobster , king prawns salmon steak, calamari and a fillet of fish all cooked to perfection. Big shout out to Mo Hassan at the restaurant your service was excellent and it was a pleasure meeting with you. Bordiens restaurant is another place you must try with a varied menu , Camel steak is something you must try . All inclusive food isn't great very limited choices and can be difficult to find anything palatable to eat apart from breakfast which is by far the best meal you will get during your stay at the all inclusive restaurants. Drinks are the normal cheap local brands not great. My tip buy the international branded drinks which I think are not to expensive. All said a great holiday only let down by the food but that could be that they cater more other nationalities. I would return .

With a pleasure I have been in Bel Air Azur Resort after opening it, in Covid - 19 time. Finally, the hotel is opened from June 1, 2021. So summer season could start also in this amazing hotel for adults. Upon my first review in July 2019, I have to write, Bel Air Azur Resort has welcomed us even more friendly than before. Many people were waiting for it to open. Most of the guests are from Germany, but this time I heard many people speaking Czech, Serbian and Hungarian.
First man, who you will meet when you need to be accommodated in Bel Air, is Mr. Peter Adel, Rooms Division Managere. He is very professional in his position. He is very kind and friendly to all guests. He helps all guests with any question.
I was also curious how Covid´s measures affected life in hotel. There are no obstacles to enjoying a beautiful holiday. Face mask is not compulsory. Disinfection is in many places.
Atmosphere in Bel is the same as before Covid 19 time, even better. All staff and tourists are enjoying friendly family atmosphere, smily faces and greetings.
Main restaurant works in breakfast , lunch and dinner time. It offers delicious food and everyone can choose according his own taste. Sweets and cakes, fruit and vegetable salads are very delicious. Pool bar and Lobby bar are opened too with very kind staff.
Bell Air doesn´t have it´s own beach, you can use Arabia hotel beach, which is very close to Bel Air. You can use also Marina Restaurant for lunch and drinks whole time during your beach time. Beach is clean, the sea is great and there is also fascinating reef in Arabia Azur. Arabia Azur Resort has also very big swimming pool. Bel Air guests can also use it. Animation program has it´s point by the pool and the best music ever entertains you here.
Thanks to kind staff beginning on reception, Mr. Peter Adel, all beach and pool boys, barmans, housekeeping, your holiday will be the best ever.

Just spent 10 days at this hotel.
First time in Egypt also.
Hotel isn’t big but that’s a bonus as you always get a table during breakfast lunch ect.
Staff are so friendly and will bend over backwards to help you.
Food was great and even the all inclusive drinks were pretty damn nice as well.

Room was cleaned everyday (if you wanted it to be cleaned every day) and fresh towels when ever you wanted them.

Fridge in the room had unlimited water, sprite and Coca Cola (all real brands),safe was also free !

Can’t fault the hotel one but, lots of Germans though and even the staff spoke to us in German and then realised we were British 🤣🤣

Only a short walk to the beach which has some lovely sun loungers which are all free.

Entertainment every night around 8.30,some lasted 30 mins some a bit longer, all were really good and made for a good end the day.

We will go back as we had such a great time at this hotel.

The hotel is lovely, a little dated but has a beautiful pool area and majority of staff are polite.

Cons:
1. Room cleaners hassling for tips and shouting down hallway after you which made us not want to go back to the room until we knew it was done and cleaner had left.

2. Contrary to other reviews you are NOT allowed to eat in the sister hotel (Arabia) or drink at their beach bars unless you tip the bar staff. They said they would serve us but made it clear without actually saying the words that they expected a tip in return for breaching their rules.

3. Bel Air has tiny 'beach' area which is actually just a patch of hard ground covered in a dusting of sand with a wall around the sea entered only down swimming pool style metal steps. Arabia has beautiful cove beach and multiple beach bars.

4. Hassled all day long by (some) rude hotel staff trying to sell anything and everything. We thought within the hotel complex we would be free from this but all day they wake you/disturb you selling massage, portraits, day trips, restaurant meals, the list was endless.

5. Wi-fi...forget it, none existent.

6. Food, average at best, served cold on more than one occassion and we are definitely not fussy eaters. Very dissatisfied as the reviews we saw said the food was amazing??

7. Hotel 90% German (towels on beds at 6am) and hotel aimed at them. All staff spoke fluent German and pretty uninterested when we said we were from the UK and struggled with English.

Pros:
1. Great air con.

2. Lovely shower and very spacious room with huge balcony which was lovely.

3. Helpful reception staff helped me suprise my wife with birthday flowers etc so that was great.

4. Beautiful pool area, spacious and very clean.

Overall we had a satisfactory stay, the weather was perfect and no upset tummies so can't complain.

Would we return, no, just not made to feel welcome as Brits and the persistent sales pitches and hassling for tips was just too much for us.

We do of course wish the hotel the very best and thank them for our stay.
