My wife and I woth our 10 month old baby spent 7 nights at this hotel. It seemed OK until we got to our room which was on the 4th floor of the hotel which does not have any lifts... so already not the best start. We went to the all inclusive bar we paid for by the pool to get a couple of beers Only to see these were in plastic party kid cups, one sip and empty. This also caused issues as this hotel location was so windy therefore all drink cups were flying around the resort. In the rooms the electric sockets did not work or would not hold a charger so we struggled to charge our phones. We eventually found 1 out of the 5 sockets worked and after reporting the issue this was never resolved. There were also no working balcony lights we reported this at the time of arrival day one and we eventually got given a bulb on the final night. The vast majority of guests staying at the hotel were russian 95% as i asked the staff and some even carried around born in USSR giant flags with them wherever they went which was a little intimidating and shouting Russia during dinner time but nothing at all was said about this. When we required a taxi we asked at reception to get one from the front, after a couple of times we noticed they were giving us higher prices than other guests. The meals were not good at all and my wife was also ill a couple of times, for me I did not eat a lot but found on the 6th day that they was a buffet burger / hot dog bar at the other side of the hotel that we were never notified of. The only positive from this hotel was the Beach bar manager Muhammad as he really looked after us the best he could, he brought a few drinks over to us at a time and apologised for the lack of drink choices available and also recommended places to visit at non inflated prices which we really appreciated.

Where do I start. Our family of 4 (parents, 10m old, and 40m old) and my mom and kids' babysitter was looking for a new vacation spot for a 6 day vacation arriving from Virginia, USA. we decided to stay at Sunny Days. Once we arrived I realized how much they care about security in this compound. The compound consists of 3 hotels side to side. We stayed at Palma. We were welcomed with open arms and we ended up in the wrong hotel. The manager called the other hotel and sent a staff member to help us move our bags to the correct location. After checking in we stopped for their unlimited bar for a drink and then to the rooms. We booked 2 rooms side by side. The hotel is clean. They have sanitation stations every where probably every 100 yards. The beach is clean. No trash. Staff is constantly cleaning. Life gaurds always on duty when the pool or the beach is within operational hours. The staff is extremely helpful and fluent in Arabic, English, Russian, German, and I think other languages cause when I was there I seen the staff talk to every guest in their own language. I had an issue the first night with the room. The staff made it right and went above and beyond to make sure our family was taken care of. I want to mention the manager, mr. Talaat was fantastic. They helped with everything. Anytime I called the reception I felt welcomed and responded to my concern within minutes. The food was great. in the buffet They have fresh pasta bar and a separate grill used for breakfast and specialty lunch and dinner, All kinds of salads, all kinds of bread and pastry, a whole lotta cake. They have an Italian, asian. Middle Eastern, and Seafood restaurants within the compound. If you don't try the Italian you missed out. It was amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic, food was off the chart, it was extremely clean. I thought I was in Europe. The restaurants manager I think his name is Mr. Hani came out and greated us himself and asked if there was anything he could do. The middle eastrn restaurant was also great. Everyone was helpful food was on point. I would skip the seafood restaurant. The buffet manager Mr aly was greating us everyday for the duration of our stay. Our house keeper Mr Amin was very very accommodating. He would fix our beds with decorations for the kids using the towels And he was very trustworthy we never had a penny missing and never feared for safety. They have a show every night for kids and lot of singing dancing , belly dancing show. They have a third party company for diving and whatnot on the premises. Crazy dolphin. The person you want to dive with I think is Mohammed Aly. He is a diving instructor with experience with diving and water phobias. I am gonna recommend this hotel hands down to everyone I know and anyone who mentions hurghadah. Best place I ever stayed at in Egypt.

Firstly if you are English this hotel is definitely not for you, it is dominated by Russians and Egyptians. The food here is absolutely horrendous, food hygiene does not exist, it's the same food everyday. The hotel pharmacist even told us not to eat the food in the hotel as it was this that was making us ill. The staff are good and will do anything for you but even they are embarrassed by the food and advised us to eat elsewhere. The hotel is dated and in need of updating. If you are booking through OnTheBeach be aware the photos you are looking at is The Sunny Days Palacio, you will not be staying there. You will be in a hotel across the road called The Sunny Days Mirrette. To get to the Palacio you will have to go across the road and through The Sunny Days Palma. The Mirrette is like a ghost town, the pools are deserted, the bars are closed and the restaurant is never open. The fire alarm goes off every morning at 8am and then will sound constantly throughout the day. Do yourselves a favour, pay that little extra and book elsewhere. Whilst in Hurghada you will be hassled constantly and I mean constantly, they never let up no matter how many times you say no. Don't go in the shops unless you intend to buy as they are on you from when you walk in the door and no matter how much you buy they will keep pushing to sell you more! Everyone here tells us Soma Bay is the place to go if you want to come to Egypt. If you still intend staying here, when it goes pear shaped with the food go and see the pharmacist in the Palma hotel, he is brilliant and knew exactly what to give us, it's taken 4 days eating away from the hotel and taking medication to get right again. The photo is the Palacio.

He had a very bad mouth. After a long fight he changed one of the rooms after 24 hrs .we waited for forever to let housekeeping to make the room ready for human use.the A/C is corrupted.poor food.Talaat threatened us either to sign that we were compensated or we will pay extra fees!!!! Terrible and miserable place

We have just come back from this hotel Rooms are disgusting, not clean at all. Bathroom still had hairs, lime scale all around the shower, rust and mould. Toilet seat looked dirty. 🤮 Asked to be moved on a late night travel but rooms weren’t any better. No bulb outside our room so couldn’t see when it was dark. Bed broken, told the staff but nothing was done about it. Stains on bed sheet and lamp shade. Food was disgusting, kids didn’t eat for 2days. Me and partner had Diarrhoea for the last 5 days and my partner also caught an ear infection from the pool. Only found out that there was 5 other restaurants in the complex from day 4 but you have to book early, these were much better and kids could eat pasta and chips. We also ate in the cafe next door a few times which defeats the object by going all inclusive as we had to pay for eating out. All inclusive drinks were served warm. The cooks and waiters in the main restaurant are rude, literally threw an omelette onto my plate and you have to queue up ages outside if you want one. The only nice thing about this hotel is the sea, it’s beautiful!!! Definitely not a 4star more like a 1 star and that’s being generous. I go on holiday once or twice a year and this is the worst hotel I’ve ever been to and never felt so ill. My 14 year old daughter didn’t feel safe as people working there always approached her asking for her name and number. You get harassed whilst sun bathing by people trying to sell you a massage, hair braids or fish doctor, it wasn’t once or twice it’s literally about 5 times everyday by each one of them. This is the honest truth about this hotel, I never write reviews but staying in this hotel was the worse ever. Would not recommend it to anyone. I also saw one of the workers working on one of the drains late at night rinsing his hands with a glass that they use from upstairs in the lobby 🤮. you see them fixing around the pool at night and all tile bits falls into the pool. This hotel NEEDS closing down!!! Who rates these hotels because they need their eyes testing and try eating the disgusting food. Even the drinks dispenser are dirty in the main restaurant.🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 It cost us £60 for Wi-Fi on 3 devices for a week, this is how much I pay for a month for everyone to use at home. 🤔. The photos that they show are definitely not how it looks now.

I don't even know where to start. Big congratulations to the photographer who took the photos of the hotel for the travel agency Blue Style as they were a real gem. After arrival when we paid for a Deluxe room we were thrown into a real cattle truck. All Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning we argued to get a better room. We were all dissatisfied for paying extra for the room. Finally, on Sunday afternoon when we waited with small children for almost two hours at the reception, they put us in a standard room, which was at least a bit more comfortable. The real hell with this hotel and Blue Style as travel agency has just begun. I will not comment on the unbelievable but really unbelievable mess in the room, disgusting food, which was same every day. The worst awaited us on Wednesday when we went with our eight years old daughter to the Aqua park that was for hotel guests. The slide which was closed for several days (opened that day) amputated a piece of my partners shin to the bone. After the unbelievable shock when a healthy man sat upstairs and came down without a piece of his leg and when they left him walk with bleeding leg to the reception, it was just about to start. They refused to take care about him until I showed them my insurance and then threw him into a taxi to take him to the nearest hospital. Meanwhile our daughter and I were totally horrified. We went to our hotel room to get my passport and papers from insurance company and I was trying to find someone who can take care of our daughter as she would not have to go to the hospital with me. In the hospital he underwent an operation when he lost a lot of blood. His leg collapsed inside and out. On the same night he was dropped off again by a taxi in front of the hotel with a drain in his leg and a cannula in his arm. He was supposed to get a after medical care from the hotel doctor and he stayed in the room. I looked for a doctor several times before he finally showed up. I had to arrange food for my partner to the hotel room. The hotel showed NO interest whatso ever in resolving the situation and instead of it pressured us that the injury was self-inflicted. We were totally devastated. But I called the insurance company and we sent all photos that have, also immediately contacted the doctor from the insurance company and found the hospital where my partner stayed until they arranged a flight back to the Czech Republic. After the arrival we called several times to the travel agency. We wanted to draw attention to the behavior of the hotel so that nothing like this happens to someone else. Absolute disinterest, they do NOT even know that their clients ended their vacation early and returned to the Czech Republic! They do NOT care if and how we got home. And the last straw? The hotel wrote in my report that my partner did not respect the instructions for riding on the toboggan! Like really??? For grouches - the toboggan was closed and repaired for several days, a piece of a leg was cut off a few days before by a lady from Russia and after the incident with my partner it was closed again, which I secretly took a picture of. There are also camera recordings, but the travel agency is not interested in them. I really beg you, especially parents with small children. Do NOT let your child experience what my daughter did. When she woke up from sleep for a few days screaming that her daddy didn't have a leg. When I close my eyes, I still hear her terrified screaming! Anyway, the security guard who was only helping there and tried to support my partner to the reception was relocated to another job place. When we saw each other the next day, we were both crying. Such a terrible shock and horror it was also for him. PLEASE avoid this hotel and this travel agency. We are safe now, but preparing for a big remote fight, we will not let anyone get hurt again!
