Geisum is one of the budget options in Hurghada. It has a nice pool and even a small private beach, so for the price that is quite nice. But the whole place is not very appealling, it could use some freshening up. The breakfast is OK. The a la carte menu serves only international dishes, no local food. The burgers... More

Amaze the economist: HOTEL with 2 STARS. And even excellent! And again here is "The Secret rest-maker!" And this time I decided to take a look at the absolutely unimaginable hole, at the hotel marked with two stars. It is named "Gaysum", and from just this one name I can already feel worse. As well as I promised, on Tuesday,... More

Reception staff were never trained to smile or greet you when you come in!! Pool was dirty.. Beach area was fine.. Not enough sun beds though!! Nice chefs .. We got really bored during our stay, no animation team, no kids activities .. And there was only 1 channel on TV, music channel! Too expensive for what you actually get!!!!

Stayed at the Geisum Village hotel for 2 nights December 15th to December 17th and could not fault the hotel in any way. Staff were helpful and breakfast was ok for me. I would certainly like to stay here again but for a lengthy say 2 week holiday.

Good place in the middle of the city and good value of money, but poor quality of food, room amenities. Two buildings of rooms, one is good and one is bad. No shower gel nor shampoo, take all your stuff with you. Better to be bed and breakfast if you are seeking good food quality because you will not find... More

We had a great time there - appreciated the location (10min walk to city centre) and opportunity to get to know real Egypt and its people on the streets (indeed, it is not a remote resort in the middle of nowhere). Hotel is fine, staff excellent! Definitely not a luxurious place, although basic services provided. We recommend it to those... More

Went to Geisum to get some sun before the winter sets in, Had a great time, nice staff and a nice area where you can sit down in a cafe and talk to some of the locals. The rooms got cleaned everyday and the cleaner made swans etc with our towels! May not be a hotel for luxury travellers but... More

I definitely recommend Geisum Village as it might not be a luxury resort but it has the best service and nicest staff I have ever seen, even in 5 stars hotels! It is a place for non demanding people but it is clean, nice, next to the beach with a very beautiful swimming pool and garden. The food is also... More

This hotel was much cheaper comparing to the five star chain hotels in Hurghada. The rooms weren't exactly superb. The furniture was older but the rooms were clean and the room service was reliable. We had some desert ants in our bathroom once but the problem was quickly taken care of. The buffet was excellent, especially their desserts...yummy. The hotel... More
