I have been in this hotel many times. It is small hotel, not so luxury, but with family atmosphere. - Direcly in centre of old town Dahar. - Friendly staff. - Small area, not terrible huge resort! - Small heating pool and small beach. - Everything clean. - Rooms are old, but clean. - Not so much kind of food, but always good. - Last times a lot of arab clinents.

We have to persuade the manager to move us as our first room was tired, has dirty sheets, old noisy fridge, leaking sink and no handle on the bathroom door. The balcony had no room to sit it was less than an arms length wide!! The food however was nice and the grounds/ pools and beach were good. It was nice to have one pool heated being there in March when the water isn't particularly warm.

Me and my friend had an amazing holiday at Empire Beach. The hotel is good with big rooms, relaxing pool area and beach. The rooms are always clean and the staff is very kind. The animation team is great and makes good activities and make sure you have a lot of fun all the time. We Will come back for sure.

Arrived at this hotel on the 28th of February. I have been in hotels all over the world and this has been the worst. Upon arrival we were told to leave our bags in reception and ushered to the so called restaurant because it shuts at 20.15. The left overs were inedible. I decided at that point I was not staying there so went to reception to tell them. The Guy on reception said they had a sister hotel next door so we went for a look at it with him and decided we would stay there. We had to spend the 1st night at Empire beach because they had no rooms till the following morning. What a shock when we got to our rooms the curtains were hanging off the windows the bathroom was filthy with no towels the toilet and shower hadn't been cleaned in years. We decided we needed a drink so found the so called bar with no bottles or anything on display. I asked for a white wine they dont have it so I had a beer. There was no bottles of water in the room so I asked for one. They wanted 5pounds off me. Not bad considering it was all inclusive. Next day we went next door to there sister hotel and had to pay 317pounds for our remaining 6 days which I thought was cheeky but paid it any. Iam not a fussy person but Empire beach needs pulling down. Royal Star was Beutiful friendly staff lovely food. Give them a try.
