I have been a long time guest at King Tut and Sphinx Resorts (2 resorts owned by the same person As a single adult guy i sometimes meet people in hotels including female guests and hangout at the beach, reception, eat at the restaurant, etc. Well, that should not bother the owner giving the fact that he knows i'm a regular guest and he sees me around quite often, but this was not the case here! One day as i was booking i was told by the reception staff that the hotel was "fully booked" and did not accept my booking, at the same time i kept seeing the hotel available for online booking across all platforms, i made another booking and once again they cancelled it, then i contacted the general manager and asked him why they keep cancelling my bookings, he said "I don't know" and he BLOCKED me! It was all clear to me at that point it is personal issue with the owner himself! There was absolutely no reason for that other than the fact i was talking to female guests that the owner liked! YES! This is absolutely true and he is always hanging out at the beach and he approaches women and exchanging contacts with them and almost everybody works at the hotel knows it and guests at the hotel see it everyday!! It is not a secret! This can be easily verified! It is the main point of my review is to let everybody know especially male guests that you can be banned if the owner sees you talking to or socializing with female guests that HE is interested in, he lives on site and he constantly talks to women and i have seen him several times taking them home at night! Also it is a heads up to families to be aware of his behavior. If there was a valid reason for banning me, why wouldn't they talk to me instead of disrespecting me like that? Also to confirm my story, a friend of mine once was at the hotel reception and he was talking to a woman, a few minutes later the owner saw him and told him "don't talk to anybody or i will ban you from here and even the minster of tourism himself won't be able to get you back in" Message to Tripavisor team: Please don't remove this review as it reflects my true experience, please respect my opinion!

I was offered a room at Sphinx building as King Tut was under construction. The stuff was very nice and helpful. The hotel and the beach are very clean, there was constantly someone taking care of this. Also the seaside was great, with some coral reef. However, if you want to get a good rest, be aware that there is entertainment program every evening until 11.30 pm and you hear it very loud in the room. Overall I recommend this hotel and also the massage salon (Abdu was really great). I will definitely return there.

This was the first trip to Egypt, and my husband and I decided to go to Hurghada. After reviewing different hotels, we decided to check in at King Tut and did not regret it! Cozy room, delicious food, friendly staff. And thanks to the animation team, especially Fox and Temo, for keeping us entertained during our trip. So, if we come to Hurghada again, it is obvious which hotel we will choose

King Tut is out of order. The Sphinx is offered in exchange for the one next to it. The hotel is dirty and outdated. Shame is the condition of the bathroom in the rooms. Breakfast disaster. The staff at the reception and the staff who prepare the rooms are rude and ask for extra money for everything. I would commend the animation team and the staff and service at the a la carte restaurant “Isis”. Too bad you can only use this restaurant once during your stay. Wifi is only in front of the reception but is unusable due to poor flow. The reception looks like a horror movie will be shot there. Everything is subordinated to tourists from Egypt, who contribute the most to the condition of the hotel

I was in Egypt for the first time and I can say that this hotel was really great. The food was absolutely amazing, the sea beautifully warm and clean, the rooms clean and fragrant every day. Every morning there was a program with great animators - Aqua Aerobics, streching, volleyball and more. I can say that the program was great even in the evening when there was a program for small children and in the evening a program for adults where I always had a lot of fun. And if I could choose the best animator, it was an animator named Fox. Because he could dance the best and taught me a few new dances and the best way to entertain people. I really liked it here and I'm happy to be back.
