Omg, I have to say, the photos from 2015 bear no resemblance to what it looks like today, by far the worst hotel I have been in, this hotel is more like 1* and would never recommend anyone to stay there no matter what you buget. The food is not fit for purpose, the pool does not have any working filtration system, the Aircon is so loud when it works you have to turn it off to sleep. And talking to locals, it is certainly a has been resort. Oh and the amount of rubbish in and around the resort a private beach is unreal....I can only say please look elsewhere.

It was the creepiest, dirtiest and most terrible place in Hurgada. We had infections because of the insects in the room and the linen. There was no breakfast in the morning. They took us to a dirty building in the compound that was so dark that we felt unsafe. My friend left with red dots on the face and none of us managed to sleep at night

Do yourself a HUGE favour and DON'T go to this hotel, it has been closed for 6 months and it is a tip, we stayed 1 night before we moved to a different hotel and paid for it happily, I have stayed in some dumps in my time, this place beats them all, filthy, old, staff were rude, bedding stained and still had marks on them we couldn't identify, PLEASE for your own sake stay well away'

arrived late in the evening after a long flight.opened my bed to find cockroaches inside.woke in the night with cockroaches crawling on me.There were only 4 people staying in this vast site.Hence, there was no cook, barman,NOTHING.I was in bits.I would rather have flown home than stay in this decrepit hotel. They claim to have had work done on the hotel recently, but I didn't see it.the pool was nasty.I would encourage any tour operator to strike this from their offerings,as it will save them money in transferring people. I must say that loveholidays/magic rooms was great. They had me moved to a better hotel in hours.Thankyou for saving my holiday.

Horrible hotel! Room was only cleaned twice in a week! No cold drinks given out! Staff refuse to help if you need advise or need to anything. Spend the extra £20 and stay somewhere nicer. You'll regret this hotel. They wouldn't tell us what time food was or where to find it. They basically show you your room and that's it. Good luck if you stay here.

After looking at reviews I thought it's what you make your holiday and how picky you are. Arrived at 9 on our first night was told they had packed teas for us we were given choice of 2 rooms as my wife and mother are disabled the first was close to reception which I thought would be a good idea we went in and the smell hit us first the shower was black with dirt and the screen had been replaced with chipboard which had gone black wit dirt and mould the toilet was black and stained seat . Second room we thought was a little better till we went in to bathroom the seat was broken off and the floor was covered in urine from a leak in toilet the toilet would not flush either. So we went to reception to complain they looked at us as if we were mad they said they would get another room for us in 10 minutes when they came they took us to another which the cleaner had been sent in first this one was a bit better still toilet dirty and shower rusty we were told rep will be here next day but no show . We booked as all inclusive we went for breakfast which was not good cold food and meat which had been left out in heat and had curled up dinner was much the same with no choice and chefs giving a tiny servings no drinks except tea in there tea was much the same. On the first day the bar an come to us and asked us to buy bottle beer for our room for£70 we refused so the next day he said he had run out of beer after giving me a small glass (no more than a 1/4 of pint) this happened for the rest of the week. My wife is diabetic and need to eat small snacks through the day but there was none except at meal times this holiday was suppose to be a birthday surprise for her which has turned into a nightmare . A local asked as where we're staying when we told him he said what a nightmare that place needs a bomb under it.

Two Words. GOOD LUCK! just got back 09/03/2015, This hotel does not cater in any shape or form for British people! from the slops it serves in the restaurant to the way it holds beer back so that the guest have to pay for it if they want it even though they are supposedly all inclusive! this hotel has only one tourist in mind and that is the eastern European one.the housekeeping is disgusting, bits of young lads throwing dirty water about and mopping it up with even dirty towels, public areas i.e. corridors to hotel rooms not touched, dead creatures, cigarette ends, dirty plates,Ive never felt the need to comment or complain before about any of our holidays but this was truly awful.i felt most of the staff tried their best but even they told us Samaka was bad,

We arriver at El Samak even we have booked Desert inn, which is accross the road. All hotel seemed to be old but safe for a night sleep. also, there is sea just a minute away from it. We love diving and snorkeling and noticed that "Diving centre" is close by the pool. Guys were great and prices were normal for diving. We were spending all 7 days outside the hotel, coming back only to have some rest. Egypt is not very clean country so what can we expect.... Breakfast and dinner were ok, staff was friendly. The only thing that distrubed was unhappy russians shouting and complaining. guess thats how they are. Want to be kings or what we dont know....Despite this it was great experience and journey.
