We've just returned from the Dana Beach and really enjoyed our stay. We upgraded to a room in block 3000 which was perfect for us, near the beach and a decent walk each day to one of the many restaurants. The food was good, better than I was expecting. It is very geared to it's mainly German clientele but that's fine. Our two favourite restaurants were the Asiatique & the Clef de la Orient simply because of the variety. It was a bit windy for much of our stay so didn't use the beach much though it's well set up. The sun beds by the pools are great for lounging all day. Our room was a bit 'tired' but we didn't spend much time there and the only disappointing thing was the Gym, it is far too small for the size of the resort and the equipment in it is old or faulty. I would hope any refurbishment improves this. Top Tips - Do the Moto Safari, it's great. Bedouins, Deserts, Camels & Quad Bikes. What's not to love. Book with the chap at the hotel, Youssef I think his name was, they really do include everything. A couple I spoke to booked a different trip online and everything was extra. Take plenty of change with you for tips, 1 Euros, Pound coins or you can get some 10 or 20 LE when there. Egyptian Red Wine, who knew it would be this nice, especially when it's 'free'. The staff really are great, from the front desk teams to the cleaners. If you are looking for a nice relaxing break in Hurghada I think you'll like here.

Never expected this hotel to be extremely amazing from all aspects! Staff are very helpful including the receptionists who really helped us find a cozy room for our family which made our stay smooth. Pools are varied; some were heated including the kids aqua and some were for adults only and we never felt it was crowded despite the fact that there were a lot of guests. The 5 different restaurants that served a wide variety of delicious food choices was a blessing and satisfied everyone’s taste. Drinks were made with love and to high quality. The room was cleaned with perfection and anything we needed was provided to us on the spot. The animation team was huge, fun, very entertaining for all ages and provided different fun shows every night. The sea is sandy and very clean which is not found in many other hotels. I was really impressed by how everyone who works at Dana beach treats you as part of their family and does their best to fulfill your needs.
Never think twice before making your reservation.
Thank you Dana Beach for making our holiday that wonderful, we will be back soon ☺️

The location of the resort is great in Hurgada near most popular places and activities also a big market with different types of shops just across the street.
Reception: Reception stuff does a great job 👏 welcoming us, specially Mr. Micheal Reda, fast service with friendly 😀 👍 smile. The whole process in reception from check in and out was smooth and easy.
Rooms: Our room was pool view and it was great not noisy with landscape overlooking the po, garden and the lake. Room size exceed our expectation with seating area and two balcony. Bed 🛌 good size and comfortable experience 😴 😌 👌 ✨️ Amenities good for price range 👌 👍 Room service excellent 👌 and fast polite 👌.

We had 7 rooms AND they put us in 3 diferent places AND the employes ask YOU FOR tips FOR evriting . The food and the drink are very bad .. only cheap drinks and alcoohol drinks that u can not drink . FOR view and pool 4 stars and FOR employes no stars !!

Dana beach is soo much nicer than the photos, the food was delicious they anlways had the nicest steaks and breakfasts etc (especially the Asian restaurant!) we didn’t have to move a finger the whole time we were there it was a very relaxing trip. As soon as we’d enter the beach someone would come out towels down and move our sunbed where we wanted them, then someone would bring us water and and ask if we wanted anything from the bar, delivering right to the sunbed. The service was amazing you can tell the people there really like their job as they are always happy to serve you. The managers are really helpful too one of them was always coming up to me asking if everything was good, when we first arrived we didn’t like the view so they upgraded us to a much nicer room without even asking questions. I wish I got the name of one of the men that work at the beach because as soon as we would come on the beach he would put our towels down and move our sunbeds straight away! Definitely recommend this place. Really comfy beds too.

Arrived 26th October 2022 we waited ages for the reception staff to even acknowledge we was there,we wasn't offered a welcome drink or nothing,when they finally checked us in a bellman took us to our room once inside I explained to him that I had paid quite alot of money for a double superior pool view room what we got was a twin standard garden view awful,the bellman rang reception to explain and try to help but was told no other rooms available try again tomorrow if people check out .Sorry not good enough they should have expected us the next day came still no room so was told they was sorry but all they can do is offer a 30 minute massage for my husband and I for free to which I declined. Hotel says it has WiFi honestly it needs updating it is awful,the restaurants were very same with meals every day they had chicken sausage meat and made small chicken fillets which were awful,the food court was not that busy probably due to the rudeness of staff they hang around you for tips that it really became irritating it got so bad at the pool I had two members of staff offer to carry an ashtray just for money I was so close to letting rip at them,the hotel has been refurbished since I last went but not for the better as they built up on the roof so it blocks the sun out and the new non active pool has no sun at all everyone sat around with the towels around them which I can't understand why they sat there in the first place.we was not made welcome at this hotel whatsoever maybe because now its 60%German 30%Russian and the other 10 %all other nationalities,my husband has come back with severe diarrhoea and sickness I never got it as I ate out for my last week, and it's not pharaohs revenge as we go to hurghada regular we just wish we went back to either the Sunrise group of hotels or the Steigenberger chain they make you feel wanted and welcome sorry Dana Beach can only leave my honest review but our dislike could be somebody else's like it's just definitely not for me will never return to that hotel,but look forward to returning to Hurghada.

Stayed as 2 families in 2 different room which were both superior lagoon view rooms which is exactly what we got and they were both cleaned to a high standard when we arrived and daily. The cleaners work very hard all over the resort as we found the whole resort clean, the beach was clean also and bins to put your rubbish in everywhere. Also beds very comfortable. Every member of staff works extremely hard. The service was definitely 5star. The pools were great and animation good. Food was very good although sometimes repetitive but always found something to eat. Some of the other guests I found rude but that is no fault of the hotel. They was many activities to do around the hotel. We were the only people there from the uk so the language barrier was difficult on times. Alot of the staff could not understand us but that was fine. The local spirits we did not like so we opted for the non alcoholic cocktails which were lovely. Also loved columbus coffee. This was our first time in hurghada and certainly would not be our last. This hotel was great for families with younger children from 13 and under. We would recommend this hotel and would come back.
Tip: All the room blocks don't have lifts so if you have any disabilities they request a room on the ground floor.

Great stay, for the third time we chose the same hotel, as it is nice, clean, has a big choice for food of good quality and great taste (5 restaurants), big and pleasant sand beach with and sea (private gulf with a part of shallow water - suitable for children and another part of deeper water, for the ones who want to swim; during reflux it was nice to walk deeper into the sea and observ sea life) and many other activities on the territory, especially for kids. Animating programs were great too, you have a great variety if sports to do in the day (if you want, no pushy animators), and very impressive shows in the evening, after Mini disco which kids loved, too. There were new things since last year: pedal boats, family bikes and new big water slides. The hotel stuff is very helpful, allowing early breakfast and late lunch in the days of arrival/departure.

Beautiful resort with very friendly crew. However the reception is below standard. During checkin they give wrong room. And for late checkout they ask 40,00 euro for 3 hrs and there was no accsess to the room and to the WiFi.

I've been there while the construction works are running and I didn't have any negative impact due to it although my room was near it and almost all the time we were at the kids aqua park which is in front of the construction works
There are more places to choose from in the Hurghada area.
