We opted not to have our room cleaned, but the cleaner in our block (R/S) [room number 7220] was so friendly. He always greeted us and was very welcoming.
The only slight issues were that the WiFi was weak at times and temperamental. Also the food was not always labelled 100% accurately (some meals in the vegetarian section had meat in them). It would be helpful to have some filtered water refill stations around the resort as it’s not recommended to drink the tap water and you can only get glasses of water in the bars and restaurants. We also wanted to swim indoors for a while so we could do it without the sun, this costed an extra £20 just to use the pool?!
I would definitely recommend Jaz Bluemarine to my friends and family. If we come back to Hurghada I would like to stay here again.

prior to arriving I contacted both guest services and the reception front desk to ask if they could assist me with a few special requests as this time we were a party of 8 adults and 5 children, it was my 60th birthday and the first time we have all been as a family. Michelle from guest services arranged for us all to have an a La carte restaurant booking in the tepenyaki restaurant for my birthday, the staff were amazing making us feel very special, the tepenyaki chef put on a great show as well as delivering great food. the reception staff were able to facilitate my request for adjacent rooms for our group and we arrived to a bottle of wine and treats in the room. From the moment of our arrival we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble, the reception staff, garden staff, housekeeping, catering and barsevice staff are a credit to this hotel.
Our room cleaner Abo was very attentive, he went above and beyond his duties, especially on my birthday decorating the room.
The hotel catering offers something for everyone and I had a few fussy eaters in our group who never had any trouble filling their plates.
My step son couldn’t get his head around the level of service at this hotel after being told that he did not need to fetch his own drinks, the service from all departments at this hotel was outstanding in my opinion.
The staff are a credit to the company, and I found everyone extremely approachable from the housekeeping staff to the management.
I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.
Thank you once again jazz blumarine
A super nice, clean facility awaits you, which is cleaned several times a day. There is a lot to experience and a lot for the children to discover. The weather was also fantastically beautiful during our holiday. The service staff are constantly interested in ensuring that nothing is missing. Drinks are refilled whenever they are empty, and lost pasta on the floor is picked up in a friendly and calm manner. Here the customer (holidaymaker) is king. On the terrace you were always greeted by happy faces while eating. Mr. Mohammed Sarahn practically read your every wish from your lips.
Unfortunately, there was also a star deduction: the WiFi is right at the entrance to the property and is really almost non-existent. Here you have to detox from morning to evening. Only at reception is it enough to make a phone call. The beds are also totally uncomfortable, but that is really a subjective opinion.
All in all, a holiday that is recommended.

We chose this hotel for access to the water sports - windsurfing. I paid £160 for 9 lessons. Some days I received no tuition at all and on several days I was sent out onto the lagoon with the wrong equipment, which had to be changed. One instructor sent me out with a sail and a board and another one said the board was faulty and the sail not the right size for me. I gave up after 6 lessons as session 6 went badly and I received no tuition. A shame because the lagoon is great.
The reception staff were not terribly helpful (they could learn from the waiters) and when my wife mentioned the reception area ladies' toilets were in a bad state, they took no action and were still filthy 2 hours later. Also, it was difficult to book the one a la carte meal. The App didn't work and so the only other way is to go to the reception area 3-4pm (great time!!!), or walk to the adjacent hotel and find a screen.
It is the first all-inclusive hotel I've been to where the room contents are to pay for (juice, fizzy drinks, alcohol and a packet of nuts at 5 euros).
Overall, having chosen the hotel for windsurfing, it was disappointing, but we still had a good holiday. There are lots of good things about the hotel, but opportunities to make some improvements. Next time we'll go back to Sunrise Hotels.

The hotel is a very large, spacious complex consisting of two hotels. This means that the guests are very well distributed between all the pools or on the beach area.
The green areas are very well maintained, both the lawn and all the hedges and trees. These are regularly maintained and trimmed by the staff.
There were always enough loungers and courteous staff who also brought missing loungers to the desired location. Beach towels are provided in a carrying bag and you don't need an extra bag for towels.
The show programs were great, very varied and really great performances. Especially the fire show and jet action.
The food was very varied and tasted very good. A lot of attention is paid to cleanliness at the buffet. What we didn't particularly like were the main restaurants. These are huge and therefore very loud, not ideal for us with a family, especially as this means a lot of walking between the many food stations. The Zela'a Restaurant was ideal for us! Special THANKS goes to Abdellah from the service team (Zela'a Restaurant), he took great care of the table and drinks. He was very accommodating and always charming and friendly.
It was a successful stay for us, even though we were a little ill. So remember to make sure the air conditioning isn't too cold.

Make your own assumptions on Egypt don't just look at reviews all the time.
In my opinion the food this year has got alot better in the main buffet restaurants which we all enjoyed. The snack and lunchtime restaurants are great also.
Plenty of pools to choose from, slides everywhere and a waterpark on the beach, can't go wrong
The staff will do absolutely anything for you, so helpful and kind thats why tipping is good to do here as you get a great service and the workers appreciate it so much.
The resort is massive as you get to use the the facilities in Jaz Aquamarine also, with staying at bluemarine you now get to have one alacarte restaurant of your choose
If you want any trips, buy these from the trip workers that walk round the resort, there cheaper than the tui excursions and probably more enjoyable, we went on a boat trip to Eden Island and the company let me have the entire boat for a party of 9 for €350. Included a stop off for snorkeling, swimming and time on Eden Island to get some great photos. Three of us also did the quading in the desert which was brilliant, try and wear old clothes as you come back rather dusty, but this only cost €35 each, your picked up a d dropped off safely.
Rooms are big and spacious, cleaned everyday, beach towels exchanged everyday also, just leave them out side your front door before you go for dinner and you'll have fresh ones there in the morning, so no need to take towels with you its a waste.
My one and only gripe this year was about the kids club in bluemarine, when my daughters been in there everytime we visit to be asked upon putting my daughter in kids club (are you german) my with said No, then to be told that was Germans only kids club, why has this changed?
There's another two kids club but alot further away from our room and where we wanted to be for the day
Overall, love everything about this place and we will be back in the future
The service is outstanding, particularly the care and attention of staff such as Ezz, Ahmed, Ahmad Mahmoud, Mohammed, Abdalla, Moaz, Mahmud, Hamada, Ali, Yasser, Omar and everyone else. The entire team is extremely child-friendly and fulfills every wish with a smile. It's rare to have so many friendly, child-loving people in one place. They are a big factor in why people enjoy going out to eat so much.
The food in the main restaurant is delicious and varied, so we saw no need to try the specialty restaurants. We also cannot understand the criticism of the limited selection of food. Ashraf and his team offer at least 15 (!) different dishes morning, lunch and evening. What more do you want? Egypt is an import country and that's why it's okay that the fruit selection isn't too ostentatious.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel grounds are impressive, especially the well-kept green areas (which are maintained every day) and the variety of pools offer something for everyone.
But the service is second to none. Particularly noteworthy is the house keeping (Mohammed for us) with the lovingly designed decorations made of towels in the room that change every day, which were a nice surprise. The reception (especially Diaa) make every wish possible and are very attentive.
Some things that are interesting that we didn't have on our radar:
- You can use all pools (heated and unheated) and pool bars free of charge
- There are 4 kids clubs and 4 playgrounds on site
- You can use the jacuzzi on the beach free of charge at certain times
- There are over 15 water slides on site
- You can eat free á la carte at lunchtime in the beach bar right on the beach.
- There are hot dog, pizza & panini stands on the beach, which are also free to use.
- There are darts, beach volleyball and boules tournaments on site every day.
- the gym is small and often full in the evenings, no problem in the mornings and lunchtimes.
- there is a running distance of 1400 meters. There are tennis courts and a soccer field, but we didn't see anyone playing on them.
- you can get new beach towels every day
- There are new bottles of water in the room every day.
- the massages are great, but just as expensive as in Germany.
- the internet is a disaster, but it allowed us to really switch off. If you work from home, you should get a card for 10 euros at the airport.
- everything in the room is super safe
- the hairdryer overheats quickly, so maybe bring your own.
- There is a waffle stand in the Aquamarine, which you can use in the afternoon (insider tip)
If you want and are adventurous, you can actually discover something new every day.
Overall, the Jaz Bluemarine is an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday with children. The price-performance ratio is outstanding. We will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend it.

The restaurants are also recommended there are different dishes every day that really everyone gets their money's worth.
Ahmed Hany, our waiter every day was always very too accommodating, kept his area clean and was always friendly and helpful to guests.
The pools would have to be overhauled a bit. But by the time we were here, the showers at the pools had already been partially rehabilitated.
To the pools there are areas with animation and areas where you have your peace and quiet so everyone can decide for themselves whether they want to relax, or be fun with animation.
All in all we can recommend the hotel, it is very child friendly but also as a couple or alone it can be endured here.

Although the food was repeated many times, there was always something new, everyone found something and tasted it. At this point we thank Abd Ellah, who always greeted you kindly in the restaurant, was fast and hardworking and super nice to the kids.
As soon as a plate is empty, it is cleared away and empty tables are cleaned immediately. Nobody asks for tips, but of course it is still taken gladly.
Since the neighbouring hotel can be shared, there are 2 children's pools and any amount of large pools available, which are all clean and in good condition. It is not a German standard, but you know that when you travel to Egypt.
The only negative thing I noticed, the gentleman who pushed our suitcases into the room (and our room was right next to the reception) stayed in the room until we gave him money. Otherwise, I didn't experience this in this hotel. Rather very great joy when you have given something.
The room was cleaned daily, the towels changed and shampoo, hand soap and conditioner replenished.
