Enjoying one of the very best locations in Hurghada, the Siva Grand Beach delivers tradition with a twist. Choose from generously sized junior suites in the main building or rooms in the two storey bungalows in the grounds. There are few steps and with a wide gently sloping beach and excellent children's facilities, it is a firm favourite with families. And it's within easy walking distance of a wide range of shops, restaurants and other activities too.

The hotel was nice atmosphere was pleasant the only downside was the food was repetitive and breakfast was the same everyday. The rooms are very dated and bathrooms needed updating shower curtains old with stains the shower brackets and heads loose. It’s good we didn’t spend much time in our rooms most of our time would be by the beach which was nice. Some staff outside in the bars very work shy squabble when you ask for a drink to whom should make it your waiting there watching them Thinking someone give me a drink or I will Do it myself. We had one very Hubble and attentive worker called Ramadan who works in the lobby bar. Nothing was to much for him always had a smile happy to help and go the extra mile. I would go back to the hotel again just to go and see him if I was in Egypt again. Very nice honest person. Also they have a taxi stand in the lobby and the guy there called mustafa luxor he was so nice my hubby wasn’t feeling to good and had a upset stomach he recommended local medication and even out of his own time got it for my husband but never took a penny from us. That what you call decent people so overall the staff where great the hotel just needs modernisation. All local amenities right outside your door step like KFC, Macdonalds local bank. I would go back if they refurbished the bedrooms and bathrooms

So, this was our 2nd stay at the hotel, our 1st was in 2019. The standards overall have dropped drastically unfortunately. We landed back in the UK this morning and it couldn't have come sooner. food - undercooked, and often cold, flies often around or on any uncovered food, staff wiping their nose then using same tissue to remove food covers, managers and staff shouting at each other in view of guests, constant harassment to buy activities, utterly dire music played through the daytime, often with obscenities and derogatory terms, there were children present, poor state of rooms, furniture very tired, tile grout poorly applied, bath blockages, toilets not level and some not even fixed to the floor, hair dryer not working, shower regularly cuts out. The hot and cold indicators on the bath tap were for show, made no difference which one the tap faces, the water was hot, then cold, the frequent hot and cold flushes gave me the closest experience a male could get to 'the change'. Room cleanliness was poor in our 1st room, we spoke with our rep, who, instead of dealing with the issues we'd raised, arranged a meeting for us to speak to the management team, I'm not really sure what the reps purpose is now. There was a puddle in the hotel foyer, 2-3 days running, residents slipped and a 'manager' stood looking at it, shrugged and walked away, maybe get a mop...common sense malfunction. The free wifi, you'd be better off with a carrier pigeon or maybe smoke signals. The air con in our 1st room was very loud and intermittent, came on for 10 minutes or so and sounded like a helicopter landing then cut out for around half hour. During our stay, a large piece of roof thatch fell from a pool side umbrella and, should anyone have been under it, it could have caused a substantial injury, there was also a large piece of thatch hanging down to a low roof, around 5 metres from our sunbeds, thankfully, someone removed it before any injuries. There were vehicles reversing around 0500hrs, grass cutting 0600hrs and staff conversing loudly most days, after our move, to somewhere allegedly quieter, we were moved directly above the entertainment teams pool side stage. So, from around 1930hrs until 2230hrs, we had what can be best described as 'noise'. There were bound to be other people, some with little ones who were perhaps hoping for a relaxing evening in their room, trying to put the kids to bed then maybe sitting to watch 1 of the 2 English channels, one of these being BBC news 24 but, instead, you'd believe you were living above a discotheque. There is a big need of urgent upgrade. The hotel and grounds are showing need of renovation, there's a new hotel being built behind this one. The dining area look very 1980s, the lobby, probably looked fantastic in it's day but its now dying, the rooms, very old and tired looking, no fresh feel or appeal. The pool area, the bars need updating, the service was good from the bar staff and pool bar staff but, they're horrifically overworked. There is little or no regard for health & safety, I watched a 'manager' (someone in a light brown shirt), throwing buckets of water on the floor behind a bar...and also at the wall, directly at wall sockets, cables strewn across the floor in highly populated customer areas, in the Blue terrace bar, there were 'electricians' working on the lighting, various cables hanging down, no fenced off areas, kids playing around there...not a single warning sign or cone etc to be seen...what could possibly go wrong? During our stay, it did look like they were starting renovation works in various rooms, but, the place is huge so, no idea when and if the place will ever get back up to an acceptable standard. It would be good if the hotel reintroduced the self service drinks machine they had on the pool side eatery, currently, you give your request to one of the poolside bar staff then wait around 10 - 15 minutes then hope you get the drink you ordered. some more bins scattered around the pool would be a benefit. The hotel manager and catering manager listened to our concerns and apologised which was more than acceptable, the holiday was a huge disappointment owing to the issues raised above.

A last minute booked to Siva, we knew what we were getting, still in the process of the rooms been refurbished, we had a nice high floor and it was as expected but we over look the detail as the bed is comfy they were cleaned daily and given water etc. Last time the draught beer was bad, this year there was bubbles and flavour it seems action was taken and they are now using bottled beer and a decent beer too. Sadly in the afternoon where its hot I feel some staff didn't interact and ask if we wanted a drink and if we tried to get the attention they would walk by and not make eye contact, so it was easier to walk to the bar yourself where you would be told to sit and they will bring it over this seemed to be with a certain Nationality. The service has dropped i feel when pouring a beer there is pressure to serve but you ask for a beer and the glass is rushed is is almost half a glass due to the head see Pic ( i know I can get another one but its slow sometimes) The food is not catered for English/UK taste the food is OK however do remember the sometimes have Tent near the pool in an evening BBQ outside in the evening Lebanese outside the hotel (only pay for drinks) Pool BBQ at 12pm Pizza at 3pm at the pool they are hot and very nice. and they guy who makes them is a nice man. Also recently the pier/jetty do chicken/beef/tuna baguettes from 12pm - 3pm again all inclusive they are nice as a change to BBQ. Entertainment is OK What really drove me mad is the down button was missing on the 3rd floor - to call the lift I had to press the up button to the 3rd floor which took me to 4th and then back down At Siva you have some great staff : Hazem Elsayed was in the tent in the evening, but could be anywhere Sameh call him Eddie Murphy who works for the spa Akmed Alseed works in the bar near the stairs, he is so grateful and pleasant is was a genuine pleasure to meet him, he has great customer service Foxy is the guy for you boat rides he was fun guy

Thanks to Mohammed Mustaffa who sent an engineer to my room when my partner was ill to sort out the tv reception. Thanks to the management for giving me a free upgrade of room after 2 lost holidays due to COVID. Thanks also to the management for giving me a cake on my birthday 🤩🤩🥰🥰😍😍 The hotel was lovely & clean. The food was excellent and I am definitely coming back!!!!! The hotel is close to where we go out diving from. The grounds and facilities are very well maintained & my cleaner was lovely and made me some fantastic towel sculptures. I suffer from slipped discs & arthritis in my back so I was overjoyed at my comfortable bed and the furniture in the room and lobby & bars was exceptionally comfortable. Thanks for making my holiday a trip to remember- no mor Sunrise holidays for me xxxxxxxxx

We came to this hotel after two years away due to Covid, well what a transformation, NOT FOR THE BETTER, the whole Hotel had no refurbishment, the rooms were the same, the area around had improvements going on outside the hotel but slow in progress, half the outside restaurants shut down no doubt due to covid, we have been to the hotel 6 times over the last 7 years prior to Covid, with never ever a complaint, to us this time around it was very disappointing, the rooms were poor, leaking bathroom ceilings, air conditioning warm sir blowing, well infested in Mosquitoes, in the rooms, and hallways, reception areas, prices in the hotel shops inflated in prices, extremly pushy staff trying to sell you anything extra, food restaurants very poor food disgusting but saw the Germans and other foreign Europeans lovingnit, no wonder the UK left the EU says it all, very little choice compared to prior Covid, quality and quantity was not there and food luke warm, we have never complained to hotel management over the last 6 visits, but this time it was on a DAILY visit to reception, We love Egypt 🇪🇬 and we were there 3 weeks luckily we spent a week on a cruise and went to Cairo for a couple of nights on the third week, but Siva Grand Beack , you can rest assure WE WILL NEVER BE RETURNING TO YOUR HOTEL EVER AGAIN, abou is and will remain the best There, but our last time ended when we left on the 27th May, we could not wait. this hotel caters for Europeans, NOT ENGLISH, so we suggest ENGLISH people look else where cause you will not be welcome RIP...

We arrived on the 6th of May and got a small villa on the side of the hotel. The rooms were full of Mosquito 🦟 and very dirty, shower head didn't work and water coming from the ceiling when the people upstairs had a shower. We reported this and as we were only there 2 days we didn't expect anything to be done, ( no disappointment there). We returned after spending a week on the cruise 🛳 and again got given a villa again. Yet again the room was full of Mosquito 🦟 and the room very out dated. We asked every day to have the room sprayed and also asked why the gardens were not been treated with smoke. The manager of the hotel said they were at 5am every morning, so a few morning I woke up at 5am and took a walk around the gardens, no smoke treatment to be seen. The air conditioning in the room also stopped working, and as the temperature at night was around 31 degrees we also reported this to reception, but there attitude also changed. We got told it would be fixed that day and after spending the day at the pool we returned to find this wasn't the case. Once again we returned to the reception and asked why, and once again got attitude. After all of this I asked the rep from redseas to come and see me so I could make a formal complaint, he come about 2 hours later and brought along the hotel manager and catering manager and we also had complaint about the food. (not fit for a pig to eat). The hotel manager said the garden were not been treated and a German lady had said the smoke got on her chest, so they stopped spraying, catering manager didn't know anything about my complaint with the food and after making him aware of the cold food and only catering for European and food not fit for a pig, so said sorry. I told him I would be complaining on my return to the UK, as I have filled out a complaint form with the rep. For your own wellbeing do not go to this hotel, however cheap, you will only return disappointed ...

Just got home after our 4th visit. The food was good before but improved more. On the whole the staff are lovely. The grill bar manager was fantastic as was the terrace bar guys. Our room cleaner was very good. The hotel is looking a little tired but still nice. The alcoholic drinks aren't the best but that's standard in Egypt so we take our own bottle down and just get the mixer. There is no favouritism of nationalities there as we have found in other Hurghada hotels and this is one of the reasons we go back but where is the English flag! Still a beautiful place but they need to provide some kind of drinks holder for round the pool as its so windy, nobody wants to sunbathe with a couple of drinks they can't put down. Our drinks were flying everywhere. The pool grill serves lovely food for lunch. Take a kettle and hot drinks if you like a morning coffee etc on your balcony and an iron . Hairdryers are provided in the bathroom but aren't powerful An extension lead is helpful too. There was only one lift working all week, which is a problem when the hotel is busy. Also take a loo roll because there isn't always enough. We were on the top floor and the water pressure isn't great so go for a lower floor if you can. We enjoyed ourselves, perfect place to relax. Pity WiFi isn't provided in the rooms free, you can pay for a modem but not sure how good they are. Just a few minor things on the whole and we will return again
