I have stayed here several times mainly because of the price and in all fairness its still not a bad deal. The hotel and grounds are in good nick. Well looked after and always clean. BUT , the food is awful. I appreciate that 90% of the guests are German and northern European, Russian etc and the Brits are a small minority but oh dear I found it difficult to eat anything except soup and bread. We had a Lamb dish that didn't have a single scrap of lamb in it. Mashed potatoes that you could drink, they were that watery. The deserts were fine. The pool was hardly in use despite the weather being superb. I think this was a combination of two things. The temperature of the water was always very chilly. I don't think they spend too much on the heating. The second thing is access is still using the vertical ladders to get out and this can be difficult for the more mature swimmers and there are a majority of that age group staying. Perhaps it might be possible to place a small flight of steps in the corner of the pool allowing entry and exiting the pool to be far easier. The Lebanese Restaurant was not a pleasant experience and I wouldn't go again. The service is dreadful and there were only a handful of diners. . 25mins wait for the drinks bill is not on. I did finish with a lovely tan so most things were forgiven.

Family of 4 on all inclusive basis. Lovely spacious attractive hotel friendly staff, and waiters. Good selection of buffet food, served at mealtimes and snacks (burgers, chips, pizza) waffles, pancakes icecream throughout day. Fresh fruit juices are not included in inclusive package and cost about £3 a glass. Great private beach, good location, lots of nearby shops, and only 15 mins from airport. Free daily 15 min bus to hurgada centre and the beautiful marina. Good varied talented entertainment. On the downside, very loud music throughout the evening in reception sitting lounging areas. So not very relaxing in evening. Outdoor pool disappointment as was cold, not heated, as stated,we went in late January so weather not that warm. Safes provided in rooms, and hairdryers. Bedrooms, although kept clean, they could do with updating=ie tvs. Rooms Initially given to us had plumbing issues with toilet and shower and we're dowdy looking, but after addressing this, we were given alternative rooms on upper floor 2 which were much better. No tea/coffee making facilities in bedrooms. Bottled water provided in room daily. Other items in dowdy fridge were chargeable. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

We spent christmas here for the 3rd time and this is also our tenth visit to Siva. Usual great friendly restaurant staff including Mahmood and Saeid 1st class service great food and something for everyone. Room was fab spacious and clean, room guy was called Gaber and he was brilliant he let us get on with our holiday and unlike usual room cleaners that are constantly knocking on the room door annoying us he left us in peace and I thanked him for that. Usual great service, pizzas by the pool with Mahmood who works very hard asking everyone on the beach if they want to have a pizza all inclusive by the pool tent at lunchtime. Big thanks to Hussain who manages the Italian poolside tent on an evening and pool restaurant during the day. All Well worth a try. Fantastic beach and gardens as usual. Great service and friendly conversations with Hazem the main man who walks the hotel, gardens and beach to chat and make sure you are enjoying your time at Siva and any problems he will try rectify them. Outside of the hotel try the Tai restaurant,Brilliant friendly staff always met with a smile by the chefs!! Sports pub very friendly too. We went most evenings. All staff are brilliant. We know most of them now after so many visits and we enjoy going and been looked after. Bad points. Sea star restaurant really needs repairing steps tiles and rendering around the pier is in desperate need of repair, also seastar toilets are terrible and I would prefer to walk to the toilets at the Oasis restaurant as they are cleaner.these things really needing sorting. Non stop hassle regarding sales of meals etc specially when you are checking in after travelling all day. Minor negative points really and We will be back soon. Neil and Cayla from England We visited the Gaucho restaurant one evening. Last time for me. Great food but the guy who was running it was a unfriendly and wasnt interested in been there at all. Maybe that's why we were the only ones in there.
