Travelling in CORONA times, requires a lot of thought process behind it. After seeing the photos and few talks at reservations, we decided to spend two nights at Hilton Hughada Plaza. It is a renovated property and it is as good as a new one.The reception was so beautiful, clean and marked with social distancing stickers. Hand
Sanitizer was placed at the key areas-Reception, Restaurants, Near to the entrance of the lifts etc.
Our temperature was scanned upon arrival and the luggages were sanitized too. A screen was
placed so that you make a safe distance while checking in. Check in was smooth and fast. The lobby has a view to die for, indeed!! Our room had an amazing panoramic view of the beach and the kids’ swimming pool. Two sets of Complimentary mask, gloves and sanitizer were provided in a packet along with fruits and sweets.Cutlery was also sanitized. Beach towels were also given in the room itself. Room was clean and spacious. We spent one morning in kids swimming pool with our toddler. The water was quite clean and it had amazing rides on which my baby spent quite a lot of time. The beach was nice too. I would like to thank Mr Adel and his team for keeping the pool and beach area clean, comfortable and problem free. Room service and breakfast had limited menu ( I assume, that could be due to the pandemic going around). On day one, they served on the table and the other day, they had (limited) buffet, in which you have to tell the waiter to serve you that particular item in your plate (to minimize social contact). Staff was wearing the mask all the time and thermal scanning was done while entering the restaurant. One more thing, their staff is quite prompt, whatever concern we had, they resolved as soon as possible. Overall, I found our stay much satisfying and would like to stay in this beautiful property again and again.

Most importantly regarding Covid measures everything is sanitized and rooms cleaned daily. Stuff is wearing masks and hand sanitizers are installed everywhere.
Food is delicious, there is huge variety of salads, meat (chicken/beef/fish), side dishes, pastries, fruit and sweets. There are oriental and more European-like meals. Service in dining area and bars is great.
Beach is amazing and it is not shallow. Inside of buoy line you can snorkel and see corals and different fish.
There is program whole day on the beach with fun and amazing animators Nastya, Katya, Joe and DJ. They organise stretching, darts, volleyball, aqua aerobic, yoga etc.
In the evening there is also program with bellydance, whirling dervish, singers, karaoke, dance, quiz etc.
We enjoyed our stay and think we picked the best hotel. We look forward to coming again. We already miss our friends animators.

Now we (my husband and son) are in hotel with friends, this is very nice hotel with good beach, but also with very poor service. We have been in Egypt several times and I compared service with other hotels the same range. In this hotel don’t expect a sneck on the beach or by the pool, you can eat only rolls or something like that. You are in trouble if you sleep long. In the room you have two bottles of water, it isn’t enough for three adults. My son drink whole water from the room, my friends also, tonight we play a cards in lobby.. we ask for the water for the room but they said “you must call reception and wait in the room”, of course you must pay that water. We must finish playing and go to room to wait wather. If you want to drink a coca cola after breakfast, forget, you can drink coca cola only later. The last day when you go home in other hotels we have a room if we pay, if we don’t pay we have a food and drinks.. but in this hotel if you don’t pay late check out you don’t have nothing to eat or drinking. You don’t have ice cream free, you must pay.
In the room, your mini bar is empty… if you want something, pay. It isn’t all inclusive.. this is full board with drinks in certain time. If you want to play a cards with friends and drink a wine .. you can do that only to 23.00h after 23.00h you pay, 😂 try to start early. For this name we expected much better service, we are very disappointed.
Rooms are very clean and nice, terrace is nice, beach is good…
For the end, we will come again in Egypt but never in this hotel. In Albatros white beach or Staigenberger we have everything in mini bar every day, one or two time per stay we have free a la carte, in Hilton Hurgada Plaza we don’t have a la carte free. In other hotels we have better snack, free ice cream, in Hilton we must pay, in other hotels we have a drink and eat last day.. in Hilton Hurgada Plaza no.
For our money we can choose better and more.

Hotel is renovated. Rooms are clean and new, food is delicious, staff at lobby bars and beach are great.
But, there is no flexibility at all. This is my 7 visit to 5*stars hotels in Hurghada and this is the worse. Only restaurant in main building is working so if you are at beach you must go there to the lunch. At the evening only bar in main building is serving drinks, so if you want to enjoy at the beach or walking area you should go for a drink almost 750m. Our friend get injury at hotel beach ay coral reef and almost got fatal result so it is really unsafe for kids and adult. Last day you can not get towel if you unpay late check out. With paying check out fee you are paying dinner but you must using it before 8pm not to 10pm how long the dinner last. All 5* hotels leave the braclet for all inclusive until we leave the hotel and some even provide shower room no price at all. When I am on vacation I want to relax not to pay attention for every step I take.

First impressions of the Hilton Hurgarda Plaza post covid, it was quiet and very clean. The quietness was a good thing because it allowed me and my wife to jave the full relaxation experience we were seeking. Reception is nice and welcoming, their English is good enough but make sure to take your time and speak clearly.
Our room was the deluxe suite, it had a beautiful bathroom which included a bathtub and shower. The view outside of our room was amazing. The room was very clean and had all the amenities such as kettle, mini fridge, complimentary face mask and sanitizer,iron and ironing board, safe and hair dryer. Bath towels and beach towels were also provided.
We had the all inclusive package, so breakfast, lunch and dinner was catered by the hotel and it was very well made. The staff great you with a warm energy and manager Sherif will go above and beyond to make sure your dietary needs are meet;in our case, milk alternative for our hot chocolate as we are lactose intolerant.
Alcoholic beverages are also included in the all inclusive and if you want to get hammered everything on the list will get the job done. If you want to give yourself a chance, Mai Tai is your best bet to have some grace and decorum. Drinks are also served at the beach so make full use of it. Also fun fact the beach umbrellas have a USB port, so you can use your USB chargers to charge devices when you are lounging.
The Hotel offers a romantic dining experience which was absolutely top class. The food and ambience was excellent and the staff made the experience pleasant and enjoyable. I will say if you are offered the bottle of champagne;its not worth the money in terms of quality but if you don't mind spending just for the sake of it, then its worth it for the aesthetic.
Lastly the gym was well equipped, it is small in size but it has everything you need for a great workout and they are in pristine condition.
Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely come back when the opportunity arises.

My partner and I have just returned from an amazing 2 week stay at the Hilton Plaza. This hotel has been completely refurbished and only re-opened in October. Every indoor and outdoor area is really immaculate and luxurious and kept scrupulously clean. It is situated directly on a lovely beach with it's own marina. There are 2 swimming pools with a jacuzzi and a children's pool and play area. The grounds are very spacious with as many sunbeds as anyone may need. We sat on the beach and by the pool most days and had great service from the towel and bar guys in both areas. The hotel is also adjacent to a large brand new shopping mall which includes a supermarket.
Our room, on the 8th floor, was superb with both bath and shower and the most wonderful views over the pool, beach, sea and marina. We had the same housekeeper for the whole 2 weeks and he was polite, friendly and extremely efficient throughout. The glass lift transporting us from our room to the beach and restaurant each day offered those same wonderful views.
The food on the buffet is really good and in addition there are 2 a la carte restaurants, an Asian and a seafood. The latter very attractive and is beautifully located on a jetty by the sea. We dined there twice and the food was absolutely delicious and the service exceptional. The Asian is adjacent to the main restaurant and our 2 meals there were also delicious with the same fantastic service. In fact all the waiters in all of the restaurants were terrific.
Each evening in the main bar lounge there was a live singer and again the service from the bar staff in that area was brilliant. The animation team were all very friendly and we really enjoyed our games of Bocce with them on the beach.
This hotel is an excellent place to stay and we have nothing negative to say about it. In our opinion though, what stood out the most was the way we were treated by the staff. Customer Services and Management constantly asked our opinion as to whether we felt any improvements could be made. We have stayed at many other Egyptian hotels in the past few years and almost always have had really good service. The staff here though certainly exceeded them all. We felt like royalty and we thank them very much.
We appreciate that the hotel, being newly re-opened, was quiet at this time of year and this perhaps enabled us to have extra attention. However, we would certainly recommend it and, as more new facilities open for the season it will undoubtedly become even better.

The food on the buffet is really good and in addition there are 2 a la carte restaurants, an Asian and a seafood. The latter very attractive and is beautifully located on a jetty by the sea. We dined there twice and the food was absolutely delicious and the service exceptional. The Asian is adjacent to the main restaurant and our 2 meals there were also delicious with the same fantastic service. In fact all the waiters in all of the restaurants were terrific.
Each evening in the main bar lounge there was a live singer and again the service from the bar staff in that area was brilliant. The animation team were all very friendly and we really enjoyed our games of Bocce with them on the beach.
This hotel is an excellent place to stay and we have nothing negative to say about it. In our opinion though, what stood out the most was the way we were treated by the staff. Customer Services and Management constantly asked our opinion as to whether we felt any improvements could be made. We have stayed at many other Egyptian hotels in the past few years and almost always have had really good service. The staff here though certainly exceeded them all. We felt like royalty and we thank them very much.
We appreciate that the hotel, being newly re-opened, was quiet at this time of year and this perhaps enabled us to have extra attention. However, we would certainly recommend it and, as more new facilities open for the season it will undoubtedly become even better.

We have recently returned from a week at this hotel as a family of 10 staying over 4 rooms.
The hotel is very big but as it was low season it was not to full capacity and perfect for us.
We had pool/sea view rooms that were clean, spacious and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows and bedding were also to a high standard. The rooms with a double bed had a queen size bed with a sofa bed that was about the size of a small double. This was also comfortable.
In the twin rooms I would say each single bed was about the size of a UK small double.
The rooms have bathrobes, and you are given pool cards upon your arrival, you can use these to get towels for the beach or pool.
The rooms also have an iron/ironing board, a kettle and a safe. There is also bottled water that is replenished daily.
The only downside about the room that I would say is (this may not even be a problem for some people) that there is a large window in the bathroom looking into the bedroom. There is a roller blind, but in the evening, when the light is on you can still see through the glass both ways.
There is a fair sized balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. It would have been handy to have a small line or drying rack to dry the swimming clothes.
We were all inclusive and the food at the hotel was very nice with a wide variety. The drinks were also good with branded soft drinks such as Coke.
We found the Taxis would overcharge so used Uber that would collect is from the hotel lobby.
The Wi-Fi is also good and did not have any problems with it.
We travelled in December and it was bright and sunny everyday but it was a little windy and I would definitely take cardigans / coat for the evenings.
The pools were heated and even though it was windy you could still enjoy the warm pool.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

This is a property that individuals from various countries go to for vacation and the common language spoken is English (besides a few others) so we thought we would have no problems with communication. We were wrong.
The front desk fields most calls and I know they are busy but I expect them to take accurate notes to lessen miscommunication.
I called the front desk several times during our stay to reserve breakfast boxes at the advice of our tour agency. Once the front desk took our order but when we went down in the morning to pick up the boxes they did not have our order. After that poor experience, I made another breakfast box reservation for the following day, and to be sure I checked back later in the day and I found that they did not have the order. Miscommunication a second time.
A third bad experience occurred when laundry staff burned one of my laundered shirt with an iron. The executive housekeeper talked to my fiance and told him that we would get 50% off our laundry bill.
A fourth bad experience was when we went to check out, the front desk did not have a note from the executive housekeeper so charged us the full price for the laundry service.
I asked the front desk (Mohamed O.) agent to talk to the executive housekeeper (when he reported to shift) and was told via email after we checked out that the executive housekeeper agreed to 200 LE refund and not 50%. This was contrary to what we were told. Another miscommunication.
The above experience did affect how we felt overall about our stay. We wished for a better experience.
Also, prior to this experience we did not have experience staying at an "all inclusive resort" and so did not know that only 1 of the 9 restaurants on property were included in our meal plan, meaning only 1 restaurant (buffet style) we could eat at for free as included in our room rate. So other travelers please just know this before hand and you will be less disappointed.
A positive note: the waiters, cabana staff were all pleasant, the room was clean and had a beautiful sea view on the 8th floor. The room and view was a great start to the stay but the miscommunication above soured the overall experience.

Don't know where to begin with this review as I sit here next to my husband on the makeshift king size bed (aka two twin beds merged into one!)
So after arriving at the hotel yesterday night from a 500km drive from Cairo, we checked in to a pleasant sea view room (in the new renovated part of the hotel) only to discover that they put us in a twin bed room instead of King size bed. My husband called the reception to request a transfer and they transferred us to the BELL MAN who tried to shove us in a lower floor and had no idea of the requests we made while checking in. Yes you heard me right, the bell man!!
After alot of back and forth and after seeing two rooms that were not of the same grade of the room we booked, the assistant guest relation manager advised that the only room currently available was the room with twin beds and that they can merge them together into king size bed. We agreed provided that they put a mattress topper so that the two beds don't slide away in the middle of the night. Obviously this was ignored and no mattress topper was put or an apology for not providing one was given!
The other major major flaw is the bathroom which is separated from the room by a glass wall which has blinds on it to give you privacy if you would like to use the bathroom. Very modern and very chic until you discover that the blinds are semi transparent and while you sit in the bathroom going about your business, anyone sitting in the room can see EVERYTHING!!! What's the point of the blinds if they don't give you privacy when you need it!
Another thing is the room coffee and tea amenities. They provide you with paper cups (in guessing covid rules) which are of such poor quality that my coffee was seeping through the paper cup onto my jewelery and scarf which was laid right next to the table which had the coffee cup on it.
The memo they give you at check in for covid precautionary measures taken is completely outdated (for e.g. Memo says no buffet, to my surprise there was..)
Overall and after my first night here, i can say there is potential but it's put in the hands of the wrong ppl.
The buffet staff are so lovely and welcoming and very helpful which is a definite plus.
