SeaGull Beach Resort, nestled amidst bustling shops and cafes, garners praise for its cleanliness and central location, despite some concerns about noise. Guests appreciate the multiple pools and private beaches, which, along with varied entertainment, contribute to a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
While the hotel's amenities and family-friendly vibe are often applauded, travelers have had mixed experiences with service and room quality. Additionally, the value for money is questioned by many, who feel that the costs do not always reflect the quality of services offered.

The hotel's location is 30 minutes from the airport, on the busiest street in the city, where in the evening you can go shopping, go to an amusement park or take a walk and have a snack at the port.
The hotel has 2 buildings, Russians are accommodated in the new building, but the word new is the same name))) the rooms are all with broken but working furniture, we got room 5317 with a view of the roof, I’ll attach a photo, we decided that we needed a room in the old building , at the reception we were told to come tomorrow, the room can indeed be changed without additional payment for better conditions, but be prepared that your environment will be people consisting mostly of Arabs. The room is cleaned for the first days, then they simply make the bed and that’s it! There is soap, gel in a dispenser, shower cap, hair dryer. 2 bottles of water, 1.5 liters each. They are replenished as they are spent. TV with Russian channels. Good noise insulation; neighbors have never been heard.
There are 2 deep swimming pools with children's areas, a bird zoo and carousels for children, a beautiful well-kept green area.
The beach is sand with stones, there are also 2 sun loungers, but after 9 am you will have to look, towels are issued from 7 to 18:30, which is very convenient. The entry into the sea is gentle, suitable for both children and adults, I didn’t like the 2nd beach, which is narrow with green water from mud, since there is nowhere for it to go (bay).
There is a small reef where you can snorkel and look at the fish.
Locals walk along the beach and offer excursions, they all work at the hotel, here are the prices for a boat trip.
Operator guide price 65$
Price on the beach 35$
Price at agencies on the street is $20
The choice is yours.
Wi-Fi is free only on the beach, which for me is more convenient than in the lobby, you can buy a card and use it throughout the entire territory, but it is terrible, it constantly crashes, so if you need connection everywhere, it is better to buy a SIM card.
The food is good, but not very varied, tasty beef, fish, a lot of fast food (french fries, hamburgers), rice, potatoes, pasta. Ice cream on the bar from 14 to 16 daily.
If you have a birthday without reminders, they will bring a cake to your room. ( delicious).
The drinks are sometimes too diluted, and sometimes not. We took it from the bar near the old building.
The animation is not very good, the competitions are generally terrible, but there are also worthy programs, for example, the Olympics in the pool, Miss Hotel was interesting, but it’s a shame that the winners are not given prizes.
Check-out is at 12, they cut off your bracelets and you are no longer allowed to use bars and food, or go outside the territory, so if you have a flight in the evening, be prepared to either pay extra or sit all day on the beach or in the lobby.

The hotel meals were a pleasure! Two restaurants and a food court with four different kitchens is a gourmet paradise. Every day you discover something new. Fish, meat, seafood – all prepared at the highest level. The grill menu in the evenings was particularly memorable - the juicy meat just melted in your mouth! Fruit and vegetables were always abundant, and pastries and sweets are a separate song. We even ordered shrimp from the fish market – delivered directly to the hotel, cooked in a way that licks your fingers! Special thanks to the a la carte fish restaurant - seafood soup and grilled fish - is divine! The hotel offers two beaches – for every taste. We chose one where life boiled over: animators, games, music. The second beach was a quiet oasis for those who wanted privacy. But our choice was for outdoor activities. The sea just captivated us! The water was so clear that even the buoys could see the colorful fish. It's the first time I haven't been in the pool in two weeks! The water was like silk and the entrance to the sea was gentle, which was very convenient. There was so much fun they didn't even know what to grab! The daughter was excited about the morning recharge and belly dancing, and then spent the whole day in the mini club. My husband and I played boccia and darts, and we enjoyed a show at the amphitheatre in the evening. The water park also pleased - three large slides and an entire town for babies. Animators worked to cheers, something new every day! Every family member has found something to do. We also got involved in history by going on a luxurious tour as part of a mini-group. This tour can be purchased from the agency 1oneguide they can easily be found by the name on Insta all perfectly organized, there are only eight people in the group and an individual guide who spoke Russian well and are taken by minibus. The rooms were spacious and bright, with elaborate layout. We really liked the fact that the noise from the animation only came during the day and in the evening there was silence, perfect for relaxation. The bathroom had everything you needed, and even the linen rope was very comfortable. Although we initially had a little plumbing problem, the staff quickly fixed it. The cleaning of the rooms was impeccable: clean, neat, fresh towels and water every day. The towel figures were particularly enjoyable.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of May and wanted to try a hotel in the city center. We arrived at the hotel at 13.30, immediately put on our bracelets and went to lunch, after lunch we were given a room in the old building on the 3rd floor 1343. After reading the reviews, we immediately looked around the room, the furniture was old, the linen and towels were clean, in the bathroom there was only liquid soap in the dispenser in the shower and soap near the sink, hairdryer. Since we didn’t plan to stay in the room, but planned to combine a beach holiday and excursions, the room suited us; we didn’t want to waste time looking for the best option. I really liked the beach and the sea, two beaches, but we rested on an active beach, next to the food court, there is also a bar with local drinks and various activities - dancing, water aerobics in the sea, yoga, boccia, darts, free wi-fi. Very funny animators, well done! In the evenings there is also animation for children and adults. There are no corals or a reef, but you can see colorful fish, so a mask will not hurt. The food in the restaurants is delicious - beef, chicken, duck, a lot of vegetables and pastries, in the morning pancakes, croissants, fruit salads. The hotel has a beautiful, well-groomed, green, flowering area, polite staff. Every day my daughter was twisted with different figures from towels on the bed, water in 1.5 liter bottles was also brought every day. I liked the hotel, if you don’t look for cons, and their rooms are quite tired, wine is poured only in the main restaurant, at the beginning of dinner or lunch, when there are a lot of people, there are not enough dishes and places in restaurant, but these are more likely questions for the hotel owner, the waiters try, they work. And another big minus is that if on the day of departure, there is a late flight, the bracelets are removed at 12.00 and then you have to sit without food and water until the evening, the hotel offers for $20 per person extend the room until 18.00 or leave bracelets for $10. Other hotels have been leaving out bracelets for a long time, the only room must be vacated before 12.00, and this way you can use all the benefits for free! We took excursions from the local company Albatross to Luxor and sailed on a yacht - not a very good organization. On the beach we took a trip to the desert from the local company Skorpion (thank you very much Ali), the coolest trip (jeep, buggy, quad bikes, camels, watched the sunset in desert, a delicious dinner), we were accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide Mido, an excellent guide who knows everything about his country and its customs. For normal wi-fi, we took an Egyptian SIM card, you can buy it in front of the hotel, there are also many shops, cafes, a fish market and the Marina promenade with beautiful yachts nearby. In principle, I liked everything, but for that kind of money you can find something more interesting.

Thank you to all the lovely staff who work so hard and are so polite and helpful. Honestly the staff are 5 star service and never ever pressure for tips.
The shared hotel facilities are maintained well although they need a deep clean to truly reflect the 4 star requirements.
Food in the buffet and the 'a la carte' restaurants are exactly the same and definitely not worth the 4 star mark. Same choice of pasta, roast chicken, fruit, veg, salad and desserts every day. We ate out a few times as it was very boring being there 1 week eating same things. Although, the food is tasty and cooked well- no upset stomach at all. You get a la carte booking for every 5 days you stay but honestly don't stress if you can't get the booking as its really not that amazing.
Beach is lovely. 2 beaches to choose from out of which I preferred the quiet small one. You will get hassled a lot to book excursions etc. so tie one of the red cloths round your umbrella to stop them bothering you and then you'll have a great time! Beach towels are available daily.
Our upgraded superior beachfront room (513) was questionable whether it was worth the upgrade- i think the standard ones look much better. It was spacious but no balcony. There was a pigeon nest in the roof right next to the bed wall which meant we could not sleep well as they were making noise constantly.. It was also one of the non-rennovated rooms. Dirty windows and curtains but other than that the rest was cleaned well when requested. Towels fresh on request. Pillows are very uncomfortable so there were a few mornings with sore necks..
WiFi is great!
Entertainment is okay, could be much better. They made Xmas into such a big thing, we were bored of the celebrations by Xmas day haha!
We booked an amazing stargazing safari trip with Rambo who works in the hotel through a third party Scorpion Safari. Recommend it highly! Thank you Rambo for a great service.
Bar staff are great and very helpful and also all the waiting staff in the restaurants. Honestly they really made this experience great.
Loved the gentleman in the supermarket in the lobby. He has snacks and drinks at very good prices and is so kind.
The surrounding area is very busy with a lot of shops and restaurants to choose from, including a nearby McDonald's and a 20-min walk will get you to marina which is quieter and more pleasant with lots of restaurants and bars (including a British bar).
Overall good experience i think the hotel is more a budget 3 star for the British standards.
I'd definitely return to Hurghada which is a beautiful place but I think I would choose a different hotel, personally.

The best gentle, warm sea on beautifully groomed grounds. The attendants are polite. Interesting evening shows, but unfortunately, there's no disco, just a mini disco. There are plenty of shops on the property where prices are reasonable. Food is varied, but it was surprising that there were no watermelons in August. Loved Nemo's pay-per-view restaurant, $20, but it's worth it. The free fish restaurant can be visited once, too, not bad. Beach two, we went to the big one. Wi-fi's only free on the beach, but I've had enough of it, he's been catching it nearby, too. The room was cleaned every day, but we were unlucky with the location, the windows overlooked the main street, very noisy, there was no balcony, only in the corridor. Animation morning at the beach and evening at the amphitheatre, liked Mido, great for kids, my daughter hosted the show with him😊 . One evening they gave mangoes and made them into freshly squeezed juice. Lots of bars all over the place. Ice cream is free.In general the hotel liked 👍 the seas territory is the thing of the hotel. It is located in the centre of Hurghada, conveniently, all within walking distance.

Hotel is much overrated! Staff does absolutely minimal work. We arrived at the hotel at 3 am and asked for rooms next to each other, because we have a big family. We received rooms very far away - about a 7 minutes walk. Next morning when we gave extra cash there was no problem finding two rooms close to each other. For another opening card to our room they told us to wait 2 days, I assume that if we paid we would get it immediately. For all "standard" work stuff waits for extra money! When bartenders are nice, later they ask for 5* reviews, because they got provision for it - and they are really pushy about it. I assume that that's why this hotel has so many good reviews, because it obviously doesn't deserve it. Apart from that, pools and slides are amazing, two beaches with no rocks, playground is great, so for kids it's paradise. Mini zoo it's just a few species of birds and that's it. Rooms are big, but views are different, some rooms don't have balconies, some have view of a roof. Unfortunately the rooms are very dirty, dust and dirt, cleaning guy changes sheets and towels and sweeps the floor for a minute and that's all that he does. Breakfast is the same each day, for lunch it's good to go to the food court by the beach, because they serve the best food. Restaurants are really crowded, when dinner starts at 7 pm, at 7.10 there are no tables left. Alcohol is poor quality, there are no fancy drinks or coffees. It's really hard to get ice for drinks or sometimes even glass or straws. The only fruits in the hotel are oranges, dates and sliced fruits in syrup. There is a man who is selling watermelon for 5$ inside the hotel. I've been in many many all inclusive hotels and I've never seen fruits that are extra charged. Wifi is also a joke, free wifi is only in the beach area, we paid for extra wifi, but the connection is lost every half an hour and we had to reconnect to the network all over again. Hotel has great infrasture and location, many shops, and it's close to the airport but there is no noise of planes, but the management is terrible. Harassing people for reviews is just pathetic.

Beautiful hotel grounds, large swimming pools, a small water park that will delight both children and adults. The rooms, like everywhere else in Egypt, are tired, but everything suited us. Towels were changed daily and a bottle of water was also provided. 2 good beaches with sun loungers, one smaller beach for children, the second suitable for everyone. If you wish, you can swim a little further behind the buoys if you are not afraid of sharks. There are entertainment: exercises, Pilates, volleyball, water aerobics, etc. The sea is clean, but, of course, there are no reefs, it cannot be compared with the reef in Sharm)) But nevertheless there are fish, we even managed to meet a stingray with blue spots and saw a turtle in the distance , so you can go snorkeling (without fanaticism). Beach towels are issued every day by card, clean and large. You need to reserve sun loungers from 6-30 am if you want to lie right next to the sea. The food is quite varied, not a very large selection of fruits only. But we are not picky people, we ate little, everything was enough for us. As for drinks, I recommend taking your own glass or plastic mug with you, because... at bars they pour it into reusable plastic glasses, which are then not washed very thoroughly; drinking from them is simply disgusting. WiFi is free only on the beach; in the room and at the reception - 1 dollar per day. From independent walks: you can walk to the Marina embankment, there is also a mosque and a fish market nearby. Along the way there are a huge number of different shops and tents, everyone is actively trying to invite you and sell you something, this, in my opinion, is the only disadvantage of Egypt (persistent merchants). I prefer to ignore them. Also, upon arrival, I advise you to have exactly $25 with you for the so-called Hurghada visa (the card must be filled out on the plane, examples of how to fill it out can be viewed on the Internet in advance). If you give a larger amount upon arrival at the airport, they will try to charge you $28, and no amount of scandal will help. They will lie that 25 is only when registering online. In a hurry and with a large number of people, people have no choice but to say goodbye to their loved ones. They also liked us, no amount of clarification helped, and as a result, immediately upon arrival you get a tub of negativity. In general, Egypt is also in Africa)) I recommend the hotel. The sea is the most beautiful, it’s worth putting up with the unpleasant local population for its sake)

We have been to many hotels in Egypt, but we remember this hotel the most. The staff tries very hard, our room was always perfectly clean, they constantly replenished the water and made different shapes out of towels. Safety in the pools and at sea is well monitored. We knew about all the events at the hotel, the animators invited us to a show or to a snack party or a foam party. I would like to note the ideal location of the hotel: the central Sheraton street, we loved to spend evenings on the Marina embankment, shopping, pharmacies, souvenirs, everything is nearby.

As a family, we've chosen this hotel for the first time. We really like the location of the hotel. We used to go out. Got to the hotel very early, there were a lot of people who came. It was very gratifying that we were placed in rooms that had been negotiated in advance with the tour agent. Hotel meals were very pleasant, never hungry. Very convenient that there is a restaurant on the beach at lunch, you could not leave the beach. The hotel has two beaches: the first - for a quiet holiday, the second - with animation. The kid loved his time on the slide in the pool. We love the hotel!

Arrive at the hotel at 8:00 a.m., bracelets only put on after finishing breakfast at 10:00, very economical. No one offered water after the road, although in other countries it is the norm. Well, Egypt may not be the richest country, but customer orientation is not great. The food is extremely monotonous, the restaurant on the beach is a little more interesting, but in a couple of days and it eats. Sometimes there are not enough plates and you have to wait, albeit not long. It's a lot more complicated with glasses, so you walk around with the same thing several times. Funny story happened when he went to the bar to get a beer with his glass, and they started pouring it into him, but the bartender decided to replace the keg and put my glass aside. While he was making the change, a crowd gathered and when it was working, I was poured into a clean glass and mine, used, went to a Polish woman. Towels were changed every day, but the floors weren't cleaned more than once. Usually everywhere the bed is made into a mattress, it's just spread a little bit here. No bigotry, though I did give the janitor a bag of chocolates. The hotel is probably not the worst, but it's not the cheapest. In July, it was two weeks in Thailand, so it was more expensive here. You sure don't want to come here again. Of the pros - only the well-kept area, gardeners are great, and the handing out of beach towels.

Not a dad hotel my only gripe was no English well one couple first week same second. And the clients there are so rude me me me people, sorry to say. Hotel good entertainment fair although I don’t really bother with it. Hope this helps mainly loud Russians and polish.
Kindly note that we offer free wifi only in the beach area, and wifi with an extra charge in the lobby and reception, we don't offer wifi in rooms.
Kind regards
