Detailed Reviews
Currently staying at the Magic Beach Hotel Hurghada until the end of August 21. We arrived a day earlier than our booking but the staff were very accommodating and even allowed us to up grade to a suite for a reasonable rate. Been here over two weeks and are thoroughly enjoying our stay. The staff are faultless in their efforts, I, m full after every meal which should tell all readers that the food is more than adequate and enjoyable. The room is serviced every day by a smashing chap who greets us with a smile on every occasion. Evening entertainment is a little drab in my opinion but Tito the head animation guy works tirelessly morning noon and night. Overall I would rate our stay so far as 4/5 and would struggle to afford any criticism to anything about the seafront Hotel or the staff in general. A special shout out to Sammy the hotel taxi driver a top man who has become a very good friend.

+ The hotel is good . The people working here are nice and sweet . The room cleaners are fair , and the beach is beautiful. The animation team is so good . There is an ATM machine in front of the hotel with a good exchange rate where you can pay with credit card and cash money.
- I only don't like the small shops in the hotel, those people try to sell everything to you for bizarre prices and they keep on going. You feel almost robbed .
- the quality of the food is different every day .

My boyfriend and I spent a week in this hotel and we both think it was relaxing. We had a stunning view from our room and almost everybody was welcoming. If you booked a standard room like we did, don’t expect luxury because it is very basic but it is clean and the bed was comfortable. The food was also good but it would be better if they have more selection especially for breakfast. Same goes with the drinks. For me, the animation team really stood out. I enjoyed their activities and shows at night. I’ve really enjoyed the morning yoga and they always make sure that people are having a good time while they’re there. We haven’t really experienced going out with them at night because we were there to relax but I think if you’re someone who likes to party, it would be nice to go with the animation team for disco in the club. I just would like to mention few people who were really nice to us. Tito, Yuliyah and Monica of the animation team- you were the best guys! Mahmoud, the one who makes eggs for breakfast- we admire your positive attitude at work. Ahmed, the waiter who was really nice. Abdou, the guard who has been helping us since we arrived and the person who cleans the room everyday, sorry I forgot your name but we respect the job that you’re doing! Thank you very much for an unforgettable experience in Hurghada. This hotel is really a good choice if you want to have a relaxing holiday!

The hotel is smaller and older but clean. If you came early morning you can pay some euros for breakfast and room, normal check in is 2PM. Room was clean and nice. All the staff was helpful, I'm alergic to milk product so all staff help me find food for me. Mr Awny was amazing. The food was good. On the beach was plenty of space. Every day was good animation program like aquagym, stretching, night program - fire show etc.. The hotel is calm and quiet. I'll visit the hotel again. Thank you

Second time in this hotel at the same time of year and I cannot speak highly enough of it. Great food, great staff, clean rooms and a “Magic Beach” I enjoyed running in the morning followed by stretching and darts with the amazing animation team before taking lunch. My afternoons where spent relaxing and the entertainment in the evenings was splendid. Special mention to Tito, Julie, Monica and Youzou for making me feel like home as well as Abdul who is always looking out for his guests. I am a bit passed it but the team will also get you to a night club if you want to any day of the week with good deals.

I will be fair with my review as this hotel was not the worst I've stayed in.
The good points: We stayed for two weeks all inclusive, the food was very good and the restaurant staff were fantastic. The room was a nice size with a great view of the red sea.
The bad points: The WiFi works in the lobby sometimes if you want WiFi in your room you have to pay a ridiculous fee for it. The air con broke in the middle of the night and turned the room into what felt like an oven, after around an hour they mended it but not even an apology, it broke on several occasions and we were offered a suite as compensation but it was just a bigger room.
You have to pass the shops in the hotel to get to your room and they pester you every time for money, and started getting very rude, the shop by reception selling snacks and cigarettes said various different prices to different people for the same items then swore on there God they hadn't (quite sad).
The entertainment was ridiculous, the overweight entertainer made girls parade up and down and do sexy poses and kept touching them, many tried to walk away in tears and he would basically drag them back, it was horrendous and so sleazy.
One of the acts was with broken glass, we noticed loads of pieces of glass left by the pool during the day.
We had a huge wet patch on the ceiling in our bathroom with mushrooms growing from it.
The pool was meant to be open all day but it was closed for two hours when lunch was served when the lifeguards whistled and ordered everyone out rudely, then the pool was shut from 6pm so in all it was only open around 5 hours a day.
This hotel could be nice and did have a couple of positives but would not recommend.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Magic Beach when we visited Hurghada. Staff were lovely. When I arrived at the hotel my taxi driver came in and asked the receptionist for my room number so he could pass it onto tour guides for the next day, the receptionist very kindly asked me if this was ok and asked did I know the driver etc. I really appreciated that. Another receptionist also very kindly let us use his phone so we could order takeaway as my Irish number wouldn’t work! Our room was facing the beach and it was clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing.

Positives: hotel rooms are clean and decent and have the softest pillows I’ve ever, ever had! Cleaning staff are ultra friendly and chatty.
Negatives (and there’s a lot): vegetarian food is not labelled and I’ve eaten meat in dishes in error; dishes like macaroni cheese that wouldn’t have meat in at home. Appalling. The choice is extremely poor and no pizzas! No pizzas! It’s the absolute same each day and we are here for 2 weeks! The staff are mostly really unfriendly (apart from one chef) and the bar men practically tut at you when asked for alcoholic drinks (the cheapest local drinks I’ve ever had!). Served in the smallest wine glasses I’ve ever seen and then not even filled up to the top! The pool is far too cold and really overlooked by diners to use and the sea is too shallow to swim in (although beautiful). The shop keepers won’t leave my teen daughter alone and are always trying to convince guests to buy over inflated commodities.
Could have been a far better holiday experience.
I stabbed my finger in a pin left inside the duvet cover and bleed quite a bit. Offered 4 pieces of fresh fruit as a ‘sorry.’

The hotel is solid 3. The pool is not heated, the water is very cold, it is not possible to swim in it. The glasses are very dirty and it is disgusting to drink from them. The hotel does not provide shampoo, gel, or toothbrushes. There was no animation until the arrival of the Russian girl Zhanna - she started working and putting on interesting shows. The restaurant serves meat once a week, fried fish is not tasty.

Yes we had too had a late flight. We were charged 100 EGP (£5) each. This included lunch and use of facilities, which I thought was good value for money.
