The buffet restaurant seriously need a new restaurant manager and head chef. It was painful to go for meals food barely warm, pasta slimy soft, fried eggs or omelette burnt, yogurt that looked like the date had past, food hardly properly labelled, the meat joint they never carved any off it was like for show and they dug the dreggs out of the tray at the side and I could go on. The restaurant you book is the only saviour but not that great. Recommend using the asian/Indian that was the best and staff was excellent. WiFi was none existent odd times it popped up on available by reception would not connect never manage to use it. Pools was freezing you couldn't use like numbing ice water. Such a shame as the hotel rooms and the grounds are really nice. Most of the staff was nice and friendly the beach lads and the outside bar area by reception. We had a great room attendant called Hany. I would only go back if the price was cheap enough I could eat outside the hotel or if they changed the food area in buffet to hotter food and chefs that know how to cook editable food. Needs something like a permanent pizza station that way there is always something able to eat.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel with my girlfriend. For the price I paid, I expected really much better. The food was really poor quality. We were constantly approached for activities, restaurants etc... very tiring in the long run. Christmas dinner spoiled, a real nightmare. Ahmed proposed us a special Christmas dinner and a Christmas show for 63eur/person . We asked him if a couple of friends (who were staying in another hotel) could join us with their baby. He said of course no problem. We repeated several times that this couple has a baby, he said that our friends and their baby are welcome. Dinner not worthy of a 5 star hotel and the show don't even ask. And finally, they asked our couple of friends to leave the hotel because they have a baby. Outrageous! Everyone wants a piece of cake. Once they have the money in their pockets, they change their tune! They are all crooks!

This hotel is certainly capable of becoming what it states it is, as the building is lovely. Unfortunately that is where it ends. Food: there is a main restaurant on site, where the food is ok, but nothing special, there is a cafe and a snack restaurant also on site. However, the so called speciality restaurants are to the side of the complex and the 2 we tried were anything but special. Smoking, it appears that unless you smoke, it is impossible to enjoy any fresh air. The are many area to eat outside, but unless you enjoyed your food in a cloud of other peoples smoke, forget it. Do you have to eat inside. Also to access any food area, ie, the restaurant you have to enter through the most popular smoking terrace. Staff, while slot of the staff try very hard, they hang around for tips to the point of annoyance While I do not expect English to be spoken well by staff, they have a habit of pretending they speak English in order to engage with you, but it soon becomes clear that they have no idea and again really are just after a tip. Areas of hotel are not finished, a feature fountain that is obviously going to be a feature is abandoned and some of the decoration is half finished. Entertainment is non existent, you are told that the sister hotel next door has a full programme of entertainment, but this hotel is a very much lower standard and I’d quite frankly grotty. No variety and quite frankly very disappointing
