Where to begin!! Were travelled as a family of five which were three adults and two children under 4 years. When you arrive at the airport you will need to purchase a visa which is £25 per person. They take either cash or card so easy to do. The resort is ten minutes from the airport. We didn’t arrive til late but the restaurant remains open for food. The staff are amazing they truly cannot do enough for you and do not expect tips. The room was lovely we had two bedrooms and they are spacious. Pool towels are provided in the rooms and are changed daily if you need them to be, there are tea and coffee and three bottles of water provided every day. If you need milk just ask. There is a good selection of food we tended to eat in the restaurant next to the pools as it was much quieter. The pools are clean and the bar staff are constantly cleaning and collecting empty glasses. They will come to your bed with your drink order. We didn’t struggle at all to get a sun bed and there are plenty of parasols. The animation team work so hard and Prince is the life and soul of the party!! Prior to the mini disco there is a projector showing Disney films for the kids. We went to the spa twice during our holiday once for a Turkish bath and second for a massage it was very good value for the money and they will do a good deal if you ask. We did a boat trip on Quest which I recommend they take you to a few coral reefs to see the sea life, the boat has a glass bottom. Then you have opportunity to scuba dive they have equipment on board. Finally they take you to an island which is absolutely breathtaking I can only compare it to the Caribbean. They charged us £30 per person but the children were free. Outside of the hotel there are several bars and shops are you get very little hassle obviously there is some but nothing major. There is a macdonalds and kfc. I genuinely cannot think of anything negative to say about this hotel our stay was very enjoyable and we will be returning

Sinbad exceeded all our expectations. We got back yesterday and already miss it so much. First all of - you cannot beat the staff in the hotel! They are all amazing - waiters/cleaners/animation/lifeguards/security/reception ALL so happy to help and make yo feel welcome!
The hotel is spotlessly clean - and you constantly see staff cleaning. The cleanest hotel I've stayed in by a mile! We found the food to be fantastic- so much choice and the A La carte resteraunts were fab! The Italian was our fave due to the staff being so friendly in there!
The Aqua park was so much fun with the lifeguards being fun and not too strict whilst also making sure everyone stayed safe! Our kids loved it!
Kids club was fantastic - our kids would run to see Dil/Marilena and Sophie as they treated them more like family! Felt so safe having my kids spend time with them!
We found the drinks to be OK! Just be careful what you chose - lager was good, vodka pineapple was nice! Your in a foreign country so don't expect the same as UK and you'll be fine!! Also shout out to Mad Max who was a fantastic part of the animation team aswell as Sophie who would always come and see us every day/ night and we had some good games of botcha ( not sure if that's how it's spelt) with her!
The shows at night become a little repetitive and everything is over by 10pm which is a shame! Maybe some more interactive shows would be better- there's alot of dance shows which can get a bit boring- I think when we come again we will venture out a bit more on an evening. However my kids loved mini disco!!

We stayed over NYE and all I can say is WOW.. the effort put in to that event is like nothing I've ever seen!!! It was amazing!!! Thank you for an unforgettable start to the new year sinbad!

We are already looking to return this Christmas as I can't imagine not visiting this hotel again. This is the first time ever my children have cried leaving a hotel! Says it all!

Thank you Sinbad and all your lovely staff for the best holiday!!! We already miss you all :( Leanne, Mathew, George,Freddie and Nellie xx

Two adults and 2 children aged 13. Stayed first two weeks in July.

Room - I booked a family room which consisted of 2 Queen size beds in one room. Tried to upgrade this on arrival to the 2 bedroom apartment but hotel was unable to accommodate. No ones fault but mine. The room itself was clean on arrival and kept spotless throughout the holiday. After a few days we got used to the 4 of us in one room and was only really an issue at shower time. However, if returning I would book the bigger room.

Food - no complaints from my family. Loads of variety daily and produce was fresh and tasty. Used the Italian restaurant twice which was lovely. Book on the screens in the lobby each morning. I booked at 7.15 am no problem but it is first come first served.

Drinks - for me the botted beer was better than the draft, which I found very gassy. Soft drinks were spot on and spirits, though drinkable, are not very strong. There is a coffee bar in the lobby which is great and serve excellent iced coffees.

Pools and Sunbeds - never tried to get a sunbed at the quiet pool but could see that these were 'booked' before 7.15 each morning. However, absolutely no problem getting choice of sunbeds at 7.15 at the wave pool. I use my sunbed from 7.15 and watched the pool boys arrange sunbeds for other families as they turn up. Seen a few arguments about flip-flops at the pool as people were taking the wrong ones as they exited the pool. If you wear expensive flip-flops don't leave them by pool edge and no one will accidentally take them 😒

The bar staff are happy to bring drinks to your sunbed. Find Abdul who will look after you, he is a credit to the hotel and never stops.

Money - we brought Sterling cash and a Revolut card. Changed sterling to Egyptian in the cash machines just outside the hotel and used Revolut in restaurants, shops and duty free. Withdrew cash using Revolut also. Tipped on a daily basis with Egyptian pounds and a larger tip in sterling at the end of the holiday to our favourite staff. Eating out is very inexpensive, less than half the price of UK. I can recommend Retro pub which is a short walk from hotel and also Waves which is at the marina.

Would return to this hotel without a second thought and hopefully will.

To avoid !!!!

Very unpleasant and even racist staff members towards French speakers. No support upon arrival. Servers force positive reviews on Google by taking your phone without your permission. First time we've been to a hotel where the staff asks for so many tips. If you don't give anything, don't expect to get a smile or even a hello from them with a few exceptions.

The drinks served at the pool are hot, the waiters complain when you ask them for ice cubes. The food is not varied and very bland and sometimes the dishes that are supposed to be hot are cold. Prepare medicine for the tourist.

Huge lack of deckchairs at the pool, we had to get up at 6am to hope to get a place.

The cleanliness of the hotel needs to be reviewed, the water in the swimming pool is cloudy and the dishes are not clean.

You can no longer access the beach after 5 p.m. and you have a view of boats.

The so-called "relax" swimming pool is not at all, don't expect peace and quiet, go to the beach in this case.

The rooms are not soundproofed so you hear a lot of outside noise.

On the positive side, the facilitators are very nice, a big thank you to Amber who tried to make our stay go better by trying to offer several solutions to resolve certain problems. The housekeeper was always very kind and very smiling. The bedding is comfortable.

I hope my comment will not be deleted.

Booked a superior room, had a balcony, there are deluxe rooms (four poster beds) and rooms with no balcony. Reception was good and shown to our room, it's a huge hotel but you can work it all out quickly. Large room with very well appointed shower room, toiletries and fluffy towels. Free safe, pool towels already in room (room guy will change for free) kettle, tea, coffee cups etc and 2 large bottles of water left daily. Cleaning standards are very good. Unfortunately even though we were on 5th floor the noise from the outside bar (closes at 10.00pm) from smokers was too much even until after 1.30am as well as people moving the sunbeds from 7.00am so for the second week we got moved to a much quieter room. Food is really good, hot, plentiful and a great variety. I liked the Botanica restaurant for breakfast as it is really tranquil and nice fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order, but too many birds in at the bread section, helping themselves, there is cling film but try harder to keep them out and have proper covers. The main restaurant has great variety for lunch and dinner as well as the beach bar for lunch is good. The a la carte restaurants need booked in screens in foyer around 7am for that evening, Lebanese, Italian and our favourite the Asian (mostly Thai inspired). Smart/casual for dinner etc.. (smart shorts for men).
Weather in Feb/March around 28 and about 10 at night.
It's a very family orientated hotel so not my ideal, however I did really enjoy our stay.
Most of the staff were very good. Bring £1 or €1 coins for quick tips. Mosquitos are a bit of a problem so bring repellent and creams etc..
We went by local company in a mini bus to Luxor, I have already reviewed this on T.A.
Internet hit and miss, although I didn't get a local sim, I think this is what you would need to do.
Only 10 minutes from airport.
It is a good hotel, but a little too noisy for us, but I could recommend for young families.

The hotel is at the top in terms of quality of services, or there is always someone to serve us at the bar in the restaurant at the pool even at the page, it is a big plus. As soon as we arrive at the pool or beach we find free sunbeds or shade. The meals were varied and the restaurants to book are very good even if the service is a little too fast to enjoy the moment. The rooms are good, good bedding, cleaning done every day.
Only downside the animations, the animators are only for young people or Russians, the only time we were approached was to sell us cartons of bingos. Evening shows are repetitive (dance every day only costumes change) and it is much too hot in the room.
The hotel is well located in the center with lots of shops around, for excursions lots of choices, however we went through Hurghada Excursions With Paul it's the top; Paul is extra care for us and it's half the price offered by Tui go see on his Facebook page.

I have known Sindbad hotels since 2005, when I was vacationing at Sindbad beach, of course it was a long time ago and the hotel is gone. The tour was taken a week before the flight, the choice of hotels was no longer so great, but after reading the reviews and watching the video reviews, decided that it was a good choice for location, food and accommodation. Overall, the hotel did not disappoint us, the food was chic for 4K, the water park was not working all, but 7 slides were, the pool with waves was ice, and heated only the relax pool. In my subjective opinion, the water temperature was slightly warm, there was no desire to swim long in it, and there were few people in it. Someone wrote about the beach that it is windless, it is not, if there is a strong wind in Hurghada, it blows everywhere and on the beach too. But people I knew used to sunbathe on the daisy on the pier, and they said there was no wind. We were sunbathing by the pool at the water park, and that's where it was most comfortable.
The room we had was 37m2, spacious, on the 1st floor. But the photos on the hotel's website the rooms are somewhat embellished, there is no fresh renovation, there is no carpet on the floor, there are no paintings on the walls. Room's fine, everything worked, cleaning was daily.
Now about the cons that could be improved, there are few)
1. Portioned "butter" in restaurants (unfortunately margarine) can be replaced with butter, it does not hit the budget so much, but in porridge and on toast it tastes better and healthier.
2. New Year's Eve on the menu, it's just a complete failure, couldn't you have put snacks on the table to lug them around periodically? Set menus for the new year are a bad idea, even if the hotel wants to save on food.
3. A barely warm heated pool, as I wrote above. I wanted to sit in a warm pool in winter, not swim for 10 minutes and go warm up with a towel wrapped in it.
Overall we liked the hotel, a good good good four, and yes, better than many a la five. Worth the money spent on it)

There was a hotel for the second time, two years ago there was a thrill, and this time I'd only bet a C. It used to be a fun hotel, there were a lot of youth companies, now it's more of a family hotel, no fun and no youth at all. The hotel population is families with children and pensioners. Animators don't even take tourists to the club, the first time I've encountered this, usually animators collect tourists from the hotel for money and take them to the club, but this time the animators said they don't take them to the clubs because there are no people... Well, looking at the contingent at the hotel, that's true.
Animation is generally very weak, in the evening they do almost nothing themselves, either include karaoke or guest artists with dancing. And if you like to lie on the beach (which is logical, because in Egypt most go for the Red Sea), then during the day you will not see any animation at all, as the animation is only by the pool.
Cleaning is only good for money. I don't tip for cleaning, since cleaning is a basic function, I don't need to be twirled by swans))) The first 3 days the janitor cleaned normally, always came when I was away, changed everything. Then he realized there would be no tips, and either stopped coming or knocked when I got to the room (although I was in the room twice for half an hour, between breakfast and the beach, and then between lunch and the beach). One day, I told him to clean up right in front of me. He probably didn't like it, so he started coming back when I was gone, but he got abrupt amnesia, he started forgetting to put that face towel down, that foot towel down... Don't expect a proper cleaning without a tip.
At the New Year's dinner, the hotel saved a lot. Two years ago, there was a swanky New Year's buffet in the tent, and the program on stage all evening. This year's New Year's Eve dinner only allowed you to choose 3 dishes from the menu, and that's it! There was no New Year's buffet. The New Year's program was almost non-existent on the stage, two times someone came out dancing and that was it. The rest of the time was just music playing.
The food in the hotel is normal, every day chicken, fish, beef, you prepare pasta, omelets (for breakfast). Once it was fish day, they gave big shrimp, squid, mussels and some other sea bastards with claws). Everything is standard fruit: bananas, apples, oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, melon. Exotic was just agave, no mangoes, no strawberries, not even physalis.
Of the pluses I can mention: beautiful beach with nice sand, very friendly manager at reception, meals on solid 4.
My conclusion is this: if you're looking for a family-friendly hotel and you're willing to pay for cleaning, you'll be fine. For single tourists and friendly companies, this hotel will be very boring. And I also don't recommend this hotel for New Year's Eve, it was very boring and not much food, I have something to compare it to, it's my fourth New Year's Eve in Hurghada. I admit it's probably just bad luck this year, because two years ago things were much better!

We have just come home from 14 nights at this hotel, On arrival, check in was straight forward and took about 10 minutes, we were taken to our room with our cases by a member of staff, he showed us how to use the air-conditioning, as we were late arrivals, they had opened the gusto restaurant from 11pm till 1am with a small selection of hot food, the next morning we came down to the quite pool, The life guard Salah found us some beds and worked hard to make guests happy, we found that there was a lot of confrontations over sunbeds, guests would come down and put towels on the beds and then go out for the day, the lifeguard team would remove the towels for guests who needed sunbeds. The oasis bar staff were very good, they took there time to walk round the pool to see if you needed drinks, Islam in particular worked very hard, everyday and always had time to say hello. Lunch was served in 3 restaurants, gusto, beach and aquapark, we used gusto, the food was plentiful, soup, chicken, beef, vegetarian, fish, pasta, salads and a variety of breads, The 3 Al a carte restaurants were Italian, Asian and Lebanese, These were bookable by the screens in reception in the morning, these booked up really quickly but you could use them as many times as you wanted throughout your stay, we ate in the Italian and Asian, The Italian restaurant, the food was excellent and the chef catered for my daughter who is autistic mostly chicken nuggets and fries, I have to mention Islam he is one of a kind, caring, attentive and nothing is too much trouble, we have made a very special friend, also mohammad and ashrif, so patient, kind to my daughter and always took the time to talk to her and make sure she had what she needed, we also used the Asian where Gergis looked after us, The room we had a family suite on the 3rd floor, comprising of 2 bedrooms, 1 room had a queen bed and the other room had 2 queen beds, the rooms were very spacious with lots of storage, we had a fridge, kettle and coffee, tea, sugar, milk is not in the rooms but can be asked for at reception, we also had a safe, the bathroom was very small, the room was clean with bottled water, towels and toilet rolls replenished everyday. I use a wheelchair and we found the lifts were a nightmare you could wait upto 30 minutes for it as it was always full, i was a little bit anxious about being on the 3rd floor as if there was a fire i wouldn't be able to get down the stairs, unfortunately there are no family suites on the groung floor Chelsea from guests services would walk round the complex to see if everything was ok, Thank you to Chelsea and Amber for helping us with information about what rooms to book for next year,

Just returned from an amazing trip to Sinbad Club. From arrival to departure could not fault the staff for their courtesy and assistance.
Food - wide variety of choice, however the main restaurant can get busy at times
Botanica restaurant near the wave pool is much quieter although there are less food options but the standard of food is the same as the main restaurant. There are also specialty restaurants, we ate in the Italian one, food was amazing!. It was also my birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it a special if slightly embarrassing evening (with balloons, cake and staff singing Happy Birthday)
Poolside - the lifeguard team and bar staff are exceptional, always willing to help. Pool areas are kept clean and maintained every day. A couple of the pools can get busy but there are several to choose from and it's not to hard to find a more chilled area if you want one. Poolside bar staff are attentive and happy to bring your drinks to you- total pampering!
Entertainment- we did not interact much with the animation team throughout our trip, we only attended the entertainment area/tent a few times, what we did see was well organised.
Bar staff - again cannot fault these guys, always ready to take your order and bring it to you.
Housekeeping - the hardest working team in the hotel, these guys never stopped. Both my friend and myself celebrated our birthdays whilst at the hotel and on both days, our room was decorated with balloons, flowers, towel art. Just lovely. Every day the beds were made and clean towels provided.
I can recommend using the hotel spa, our booking was made via Emad, who was polite and not as pushy as some of the other sales team. We opted for the Cleopatra package, and were not disappointed. I have mobility issues and the team went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best experience.
Finally I want to thank Chelsea on the Guest Services Team, Mr Hany, Front Office Manager, Mr Farouk and the manager at Sinbad Experience for their assistance during our stay.
Almost forgot to mention the Pelican, actually thought I was hallucinating the first time I saw it, we had just got off the coach from the airport after a long flight!. Wanders about the front of the complex with 2 humans most evenings.

Alles in all inclusive. Uiteraard lokale drank. Er zijn diverse barren en een restaurant in het aqua park gedeelte. Daar is ook het Aziatische restaurant welke je kan reserveren. Ook all inlusive. Sindbad is een prima resort.
