Detailed Reviews
We stayed here when we finished a dive trip and had a day room and use of the facilities.
The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was good.
You had to run the water for about a minute as it was brown until clear water came through the taps or shower.
We could have used the buffet for £7.50 (sterling) each for lunch (some of our group did) but we opted not to as it was basically plain rice and chicken. We opted to go to Bulls restaurant next door and had a substantial nice meal for about £7 each.
Music (supposedly relaxing) was played around both pools. This would do your head in if you was there for a weeks holiday. If you have children avoid the children’s corner as it is basically a play pen which is not in the shade.
The beach bar was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beach could be accessed via a walk way via 2 lifts. This is not safe as there were no stairs to get down in the case of emergency/fire.
Overall a “okay” base to go to for a day at the end of a dive holiday but I would not stay here for a week.

As a base for a diving holiday this hotel is ideal. No fancy gimmicks, clean and comfortable rooms. The food does get "similar" after a few days, but with "Bulls" just along the road, good priced steaks are a short distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and when our flight time was changed, they were able to contact the transfer company to rearrange transfers to the airport. The hotel is a short walk from "Aquarius dive center" in the marriot Hotel, who we used for diving. For a budget break to hurgada the Elysee is a great base.

We vacationed with a friend in November. What struck me most was the sea, such beauty had never been seen on any sea, such a range of colors!!! We arrived at 10 am, and checked in without additional payment (it was a birthday) in standard room 1003, we are not pretentious, we were happy with the room, but after 2 days they changed it without any problems, they didn’t ask for a fee. The windows looked out onto the road, the dogs gave in all night, it was impossible to sleep. We were moved to room 1007, the same one, only the Internet was constantly catching, unlike that room. We didn’t look for shortcomings, such as dust or washed beds; those who are not satisfied should go to the premier building. Cleaning every day, the staff is superb everywhere, they left the chocolates they brought. The restaurant is also great. The beach is small, piers on both sides block the view of the sea, there is no space. The sea is clear, you can see blue fish. We weren’t very lucky with the guides, except for the girl at the sightseeing point, the guide from the airport, he was intimidating with Arabs all the way, he didn’t respond, the Arabs are normal, there are, of course, intrusive ones, everyone is adequate, we didn’t see any aggression anywhere, we walked around the city a lot. The hotel guide managed to force expensive excursions on us, well, he was very intrusive, but it was their own fault. We were pleased with the excursions; we went to the pyramids and went down in a submarine to 26 meters to the underwater world. Everything is great. The pyramids cost 65 dollars, my friends rode using the app for 45, but they didn’t have reclining seats, in short, it was tin. 7-8 hours there and back, but it’s worth it, you have to go. Then Ahmed came up, even cheaper. I give advice, if you go on a sightseeing tour, they take you to a two-story store with fixed prices, I don’t remember the name, there are also souvenirs in Russian at the entrance, the store is cheap, buy gifts, sweets, fruit souvenirs are not expensive. There’s no way to get there later, only a transfer, we wanted to do it again, our guide didn’t answer us. There are almost no shops near the hotel, there is nowhere to even buy fruit. Don’t change dollars, they accept prices everywhere in all shops, and purchases in dollars will be cheaper than in pounds, in short, you’ll lose a lot, they have their own exchange rate there. We only needed pounds on minibuses - 5 pounds fare, we didn’t take a taxi, they said they had one price at the entrance, another at the exit, they didn’t take any risks. They offer tea in shops, but we didn’t drink it either. We brought our own alcohol, tried their wine and didn’t like it, also took boilers and drank our own tea. You were satisfied with your vacation, go ahead. Many thanks to all the staff!!!

+1
I absolutely loved staying here in this hotel. Everything from checking in, the room, food, drinks, was great and I’m sad to leave. The staff are wonderful and couldn’t do more to make your stay perfect. Albeit cold during January the pool did look nice, small but in the summer would be nice to swim in. Breakfast was substantial, I didn’t do lunch but dinner too was substantial and tasty enough for me. It much choice but enough to feed yourself, although they do not cool on the premises the food is delivered in a van daily, watched it personally from my bedroom window. Beware there is a bar underneath the hotel called London Bridge, when they play music you can hear it until 2 or 3 in the morning. Free entry to Dream Beach just 2 mins away where drinks are included if you are all inclusive at the hotel. Great break and well deserved rest.

We have booked deluxe room all inclusive, when we arrived we got just standard room (they asked to pay 20 eur for early check in), when we entered to the room it was just standard with no balcony. Then we went to reception to say that we have deluxe room and reception guy said that they didnt’t know. How come they dont know which rooms are booked? Ok they changed for deluxe. Other problem, all inclusive package: when I ordered trip from the company it was not mentioned that we will have to pay extra for drinks, excatly for wine. On the beach and next to the swimming pool in the bars they have only beers, vodka, tekila… im traveling not first time in my life so I know that all inclusive should be wine as well! When you ask for beer, they pour beer to the small glass, when i ask for bottle they say no. So i paid money for all incl, and now we have this problems? If I knew it would be in this hotel would never book this one! Food: we already had dinner, breakfast - is horrible! No choice, nothing. We met other lithuanian tourists in this hotel they said also that they have all incl and they are eating in mcdonalds because all week food is the same!
Room: beds are broken, when you sleep you feel that you are in the hole because mattrass seems old and broken.
When you have all inclusive package at 4* hotel especially in Egypt they should provide bottles of water to the room every day for free. Why we have to pay even for water?

Do not expect luxury nor outstanding comfort at this hotel.
What you may expect (from reading this and other reviews) are older but not run-down rooms that are reasonably clean with the necessary facilities.
I stayed here for a single day while waiting for my flight, and the hotel was as described above. It was by no means great, but it wasn’t terrible either for the purpose - which was to have my own room for the evening before flying out.
If you are looking for a room for a single night and do not wish to pay for the more expensive options in the neighbourhood, this hotel is an alright shout.

We stayed in May 23 for 11 days for 173t for 3 adults - the price for this hotel is reasonable. We arrived at night and left dinner for us, the airport was about 15 minutes and at the hotel (no planes fly over the hotel, it’s quiet. The hotel is small, the pools are clean, the beach is beautiful , there are enough sunbeds for everyone. The food was excellent (before this we were in 5, it was worse in this regard) The cooks were great. Initially they tried to give us a small and stuffy room for 2, and we are 3 adults (This is how we understand it in Egypt, that’s how they make money. We were ready for this. 30 dollars and I walked around 6 rooms for an hour (there was no TV, I wasn’t happy with the smell) until I made my choice. The cleaning was excellent every day, BUT, don’t take it with windows. street, There at night it is not so much noisy from cars, but from dogs - they barked endlessly from 4 in the morning. The room was not changed, it was very nice and large. The staff was friendly in the hotel and on the beach, everyone was smiling. There was no animation - this was even a plus for us, the silence. and peace. The only thing that personally annoyed me in the rooms was the lighting, only the floor lamps - it seemed dark to me, there was not enough light from the ceiling. The bath is good, there was always water. Conclusion there are more advantages, I think that we will come again with pleasure - if the price does not rise.

The hotel has almost no additional territory, green lawns, etc. But we don't usually sit on hotel grounds, so that's not a problem.
The beach is excellent, sandy, gently sloping entrance, two piers, you can jump, many sun loungers, no slides. Unlike many hotels, boats are not parked here, so there is no exhaust smell and the water is clean. A turtle swam.
The rooms are spacious, excellent cleaning, good linen and towels. Shampoos and shower gels are not provided. We only took breakfast, there was a lot of food, it was tasty, but it was repetitive. The coffee is instant, the juice is not natural. There are 3 pools, with different depths, for kids, but we are not interested in that. There is a dive center. Away from the party streets, but we had a great time getting out by cheap taxi. The main guests were Serbs, Poles, Latvians, Russians, Ukrainians, Germans, maybe someone else... Mostly older people.

We were given a very bad room. When we asked for a better room, we were asked to pay an extra €20. The phone card at reception costs €15. Vodafone or Orange sell a SIM card for €5.
There are pushy agents on the beach who arrange excursions. The same excursions are available at the travel agency for half the price.
