The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are large and cleaned every day, the bar is replenished with new bottles of water, which can also be obtained in any restaurant or bar by the pool or on the beach.
There was a high tide on the beach every day, but even when it wasn't, the water was barely above the ankles. You had to swim from the jetty. There were about five smaller corals near the jetty and the entire area was bordered by buoys with a net almost to the bottom.
There were several pools in the hotel, and I have to appreciate the one that was closest to the main building. It was the deepest and no one went there to bother with trips and massages.
The hotel was obviously focused more on the German clientele, which was also positive in that there were a lot of potato side dishes (boiled, baked, porridge with butter). The main restaurant was average and the food here was very repetitive. We mainly went to the Sky restaurant for breakfast because there were fewer people there. For dinner, this restaurant was also average and the food here was also very repetitive. The best for us was the restaurant La Asiatique, where there was Asian and Indian cuisine, sometimes quite spicy, but the food was tasty.
If you get a room close to the stage, be prepared to listen to thud, thud, thud every night. It didn't matter what thematic evening program was, it was always thud, thud, thud.
The staff was polite and helpful. However, if you want him to pay more attention to you (for example, to bring more water by the pool), you have to take out bakshish, that's the color everywhere in Egypt.
Overall the stay was pleasant.

The hotel has the wow factor in spades and is based around the fantastic pools and beach, spotlessly clean in all areas and the staff are polite and friendly but it's January and only the small pool is heated making it the arena people use the massive pools are not usable because of the freezing cold. The hotel is open to the wind that arrives at 2 pm a blows around public areas even in the main entertaining area at night. The rooms are clean but to be honest a little dated and the shower is a little 1990s , the food is OK but having come from a hotel in Marrakech in November were the food was unbelievably good it was going to be hard to match,as for the themed restaurants they serve the same food as the main buffet, the overall feeling is they don't cater for British tastes as not many English people have cake and salads for breakfast, it goes dark at 4 ish and that is it, nothing to do,no games,no movie hire no board games to play nothing, we ventured out but in the immediate area there is nothing but a strange hotel with a semi derelict shopping centre, got a taxi to a large shopping centre that sold fake sportswear? and had to argue with the taxi driver who wanted more money and stopped outside his friends Pharmacy, would it be different in Summer probably around the pool and aqua park but is it worth the 6 hour flight when in my opinion better destination closer, probably not for me.

The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport. You are greeted and taken to the Oriental Place Bar, where check-in takes place in a pleasant atmosphere and you don't have to wait at reception. If you are not satisfied with the room, the staff will make every effort to accommodate your wishes and satisfy you, which worked very well for us. The complex is spacious and very lovingly designed and well maintained, there are several pools and a very nice pool bar. Our preference is the sea, however, there are 3 options for swimming and snorkeling, one where you walk about 4 minutes to the neighboring hotel Beach Albatros Resort and can swim without bathing shoes and on a beautiful sandy beach, the second is also at the Beach Albatros Resort about 3 minutes away, bathing shoes recommended, marked with yellow flags, very good for snorkeling, we saw a stingray. The third option is the jetty in front of the hotel, about 2 minutes away, bathing shoes recommended, very good for snorkeling and there are cool swim rings attached further out so you can swim further out and stay in the water longer. For the more daring, there are two floating islands in the sea. Our tip for the beach: if you want to spend time undisturbed by vendors, you can get a red flag from the towel center, attach it to your parasol and you won't be disturbed. Culinary delights are served in 6 restaurants/buffets. We can particularly recommend the Beach Restaurant, where they serve a great beef or salmon sizzler, and the Colina Fish Restaurant. Reservations are required for the restaurants, which can be made the day before at reception from 10:00 a.m. All of the staff are always in a good mood, very friendly and accommodating. For example, we only mentioned to our room boy once that the tiled floor in front of the bed was cold and the next day there was a carpet in front of it...

The food is like in a cafeteria. There are 2 restaurants that are sophisticated. The Moroccan restaurant Tagine and the fish restaurant Culina are both restaurants with table service. However, in both restaurants there is only ONE menu that is served to each guest. I think the chef cooks it for the whole week and then it is served to each guest anew. Unbelievable but unfortunately true. So you can eat exactly the same food every day for 2 weeks. The other restaurants offer a buffet but always the same. The cakes may be different colors and look great but they all taste equally tasteless. The food is served in a buffet which is really abysmal. It is definitely not like a 5 star hotel. The hotel is recommended for families who have children and want to encourage them to make sure that food is not important and who have not necessarily come to Hurghada for snorkeling. You expect something different from a 5 star hotel. The rooms are very old. In the evening we only had lukewarm water for showering. It's better not to even try the alcoholic drinks. The pool area is nice but the water is cold. The hotel description says that some are heated. They are as cold as the sea. This hotel is not suitable for snorkeling either. The room boy always asks if he needs to bring anything. It goes without saying that you get clean towels every day, refills of shampoo and shower gel and water. That's why we unfortunately don't recommend it for travelers who really expect a 5 star hotel when booking.

We were on holiday as a family, 2 adults and a 3.5 year old child. Overall I liked the hotel, but there are some pros and cons.
1. Check-in and room: we checked in quickly, at first they offered us a paid room upgrade, but we refused. In the end, they still offered a room with a "pool view", instead of a "garden view", a room on the first floor with access from the balcony directly to the children's pool and children's club, and gave a $20 tip. The room is really good, the room has a large double bed and a massive bunk bed for the children, the child was delighted. The curtains are blackout, so you can easily sleep at lunchtime, despite the sun. Quite spacious, there is a hairdryer, refrigerator, safe, lots of shelves for things, convenient sockets. Working plumbing, good water pressure. The downside is that the air conditioner is quite noisy and blows very cold; we were unable to adjust it so that it wouldn’t blow too much and it would be cool. I had to turn it off periodically. It’s also not very convenient that you cannot enter the room from the balcony if it is closed from the inside (relevant only for the 1st floor)
3 Sea and pool: The sea is shallow near the shore, there are rocks at the bottom, it is convenient for a child. Adults can swim and see fish from the pier; there is a small reef. There are many pools, several heated, one with a jacuzzi, the children's pool is also good with small slides. You can go to the big slides at the nearby Beach Albatros hotel, they also have great entertainment - an artificial wave.
4. Food: quite varied, but of course cannot be compared with Turkey. Beef, chicken, turkey, some fish, almost no seafood, fruit. In the morning they prepare an omelet, there are porridges and soups. The selection of salads is small. We went to the free a la carte, liked the Moroccan and the restaurant on the beach. The desserts are delicious, mango dessert is our love. Drinks: cocktails with local alcohol are quite good, best made in the lobby bar. The coffee is brewed in a carob machine, not a machine, and is quite tasty.
5. Animation and shows: The shows are good, especially the fly board show, take seats closer to the pool). They didn’t participate much in other activities, but the team is trying. Nice kids club and playground.

We took excursions from local diving clubs, went on a boat with a transparent bottom to a neighboring island, there is a beautiful reef there, you can snorkel. In general, I recommend it for a family vacation for 8-10 days.

The Pickalbatros hotel system itself is a very progressive system aimed at satisfying any needs and wishes of vacationers! Last year, 2023, we vacationed in May in Hurghada at "Albatros White Beach 5*", and this year we decided to raise the bar and were not mistaken. The recreational conditions and food level here are much better. A large hotel with plenty of room to roam! Lots of entertainment and I especially liked the variety of evening concerts by artists. There are many pools, some heated, and since the water in the sea is not yet quite comfortable in temperature, it completely replaces swimming: I went for a cool dip - then I came back to warm myself in the pool and lie down on a sunbed to sunbathe! During this period the sun is still gentle and gentle, but in two weeks we got very tanned! The sandy beach always had free places, sun loungers were placed at a sufficient distance so that vacationers did not interfere with each other. We sunbathed on our own territory, and went for a swim to the beach of a neighboring hotel - only a 150-meter walk, but the rich food we had eaten was shaking. We went to the water park across the street, also in the neighboring Albatross, when the animators came calling us - we liked it. We also went swimming down the stairs from the pier, but this is not very convenient for older people, and jumping is prohibited. Overall, I liked everything, thanks to the chefs and all the polite service staff! My only wish is that in the future they make their own beach with entry into the water from the shore. This would be a big advantage! See you again, friends!

Plus:

* Very nice personal welcome. 3 "managers" sat down at a table with me and explained a lot. But the whole staff is also very attentive. Sometimes you think they've known you forever.
* The whole complex is very clean and well-maintained - special praise goes to the gardener
* Rooms are nice, clean and spacious
* WiFi in the room is very good - but otherwise unstable
* The huge pool area is the highlight of all and very suitable for children and older people because of the partially shallow entrances
* The sandy beach is beautiful to look at and has great places to lie down - but unfortunately it's rocky and very shallow far out
* I can highly recommend the Moroccan restaurant. It is very cozy, decorated in an oriental style and the food is very tasty

Minus:

* Air conditioning not optimally adjustable
* In the evenings there is often loud music and hustle and bustle in the middle of the complex
* The extremely low and therefore uncomfortable armchairs in some areas of the hotel should be replaced
* Mixed drinks taste artificial and far too sweet
* Food is good, but could be improved - for example, there was not a single sausage at breakfast that appealed to me visually
* The dining rooms are reminiscent of canteens and are completely full and loud at meal times (there is an echo). You can sit on the terrace, but then go further to the buffet
* The beer glasses could be a bit nicer
* Spa staff are very pushy - start with extortionate prices - but after intensive haggling you end up paying less than half the original price anyway

We stayed at this hotel for the first time and are totally delighted.
The food was very varied by the many different restaurants, plus the a la carte restaurant were first class. Highly recommended to treat yourself to an evening there.

A thank you goes the to the reception and guest care (Asmaa&Tina), that you took very good care of us. We got a very nice room plus attentive gestures and we could always rely on you all very much. Thank you very much. 💐

A big praise to the animation that sweetened us every day with a lot of joy & fun.
There was a varied program during the day (foam party, acrobatic show, sports activities, orchestra concert, live DJ + saxophonist etc) and in the evening also very varied by the dance parties with the live music or evening shows. Every day there was something new to look forward to.
A big thank you to the manager of the animation (Jordan) & to the boss (Hashem), the two also took very good care of us. 🧡

The waiters at the hotel were very attentive in every area whether beach bar, restaurant, lobby or disco. You were always surprised with a new cocktail. Everyone was very friendly.

This hotel has everything for young and old.
It is very close to the Senzo mall, if you want to get out..
and it is extensive and also offers quiet corners to relax.
I look forward to seeing everyone again next time, because I will definitely come back.
From me there is a smooth 10/10.

On 13/09/23 we returned from Egypt. Our team consists of 3 families and a total of 7 adults. Once again, we rested at the Pickalbatros Palace Resort Hotel in Hurghada on September 6-13, 2023. Our hotel is located about 20 minutes from the airport and adjacent to several other hotels of the same chain. Great facility, lots of well-kept greenery, beautiful swimming pools with sun loungers and a water bar, nice beach with a pier and new floating platforms. The food and service were fantastic. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we felt like real guests. We were greeted by Aly Saead, a Polish-speaking, friendly and helpful receptionist. Very efficient accommodation, rooms on the first and second floors, numbers 2349, 3339 and 3346. The first two rooms face the swimming pool with a balcony, the third room overlooks the swimming pool of the neighboring (same chain) hotel called Pickalbatros Beach Resort. The rooms have been renovated compared to last year. Furniture, beds, safes and TVs were replaced. The entire bathroom was renovated and a new entrance door was installed. Feel the newness! Rooms are equipped with, among other things, tea and coffee making facilities. The fridge is replenished with drinks every day by the staff. Towels changed every day, floors washed, mirrors etc. The room was always exceptionally prepared. From the morning hours, cleaning the entire hotel infrastructure, cleaning the swimming pools, preparing the beach, watering the plants. The food was varied and very tasty. The number of dishes, the type of dishes and the quality of their preparation are a real masterpiece. The waiters are constantly asking what else they can offer and bring. Words of appreciation to the chef and chefs. Respect for everything you have prepared for us. There are interesting evening performances every day, so everyone will find a moment to relax and enjoy the sun. As part of your stay, there's a great evening show titled Neverland, to which we were taken by bus to the Pickalbatros hotel
Alf Leila Wa Leila Resort belonging to the same hotel chain. Our entire team spent unforgettable moments. We are simply enchanted by this place and we promise that we will definitely come back.
Best regards Leszek, Beata and Sebastian, Czesław and Renata and Arkadiusz and Małgorzata.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. An ideal place for a holiday for two or a family with small children. It inspires grandeur at first sight, with magnificent royal design and beautiful surrounding areas. Huge swimming pools add to the festive mood. For children there is a kids club, playgrounds and water slides, but there is no water park or slides for adults. However, adults can expect a fascinating animation program, which is organized by professionals and is not intrusive. There are a variety of daytime events and evening shows featuring guest artists. The hotel is truly secluded, away from the bustle of the city. The disadvantage may be the lack of shops and cafes within walking distance, but there is a cozy beach with beautiful sand and palm trees. Sun loungers and large beds are provided free of charge, which is rare in other hotels. The beach is shallow, but it is an ideal place for children to play along the shore and for adults to swim from the pier. Here you can even observe picturesque semi-living corals, but the real pleasure will come from excursions, especially to the Sharm el Naga nature reserve or to Utopia Island. We purchased excursions from a local company, 1sttouroperator, and they organized everything to the highest standard at very competitive prices. An additional bonus was an exciting sightseeing tour of the city as a gift. Search their website by name on the Internet. The hotel underwent a major renovation in 2019, including stylish restaurants and updated rooms. The rooms are bright, spacious and equipped with everything you need. The hotel is very clean and the staff is highly qualified. You will be pleased with the variety of food - seven restaurants with varied cuisine. This hotel left an unforgettable experience. I sincerely thank the travel agency samitour.rf for their excellent selection of hotels and excellent prices for the tour. I recommend contacting them, their profile is easy to find on Instagram
