Nestled close to the water and local attractions, the Bella Vista Resort Hurghada is often lauded for its cleanliness and prime location. While guests commend the staff's friendliness, opinions on service vary. Room experiences also differ; they are generally clean and spacious but sometimes criticized for noise, outdated furnishings, and ineffective A/C. Despite its all-inclusive tag, additional fees for Wi-Fi and certain events have left many travelers feeling the value is compromised. Amenities receive mixed reviews, and the atmosphere is described as lively yet dated by some.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at Bella Vista Hotel, cosy and friendly in a great location for cafes, shops, restaurants and the marina

Cats, as a mad cat lady i could not have been happier meeting the resident felines, made my stay feel like a home away from home

Originally I was given a pool view room which was not up to standard but as I'd paid for a sea view room I was moved upon request to a beautiful bright large sea view room.

Cleaning staff were amazing, super helpful and work extremely hard much respect to all.

My time was made all the more memorable by the incredibly hard working staff, shout out to Nagla and Mustafa working at the beach, both extremely helpful, friendly, kind and full of great stories, I was made to feel part of the Bella vista family.

As I stayed during the pandemic, food was limited in choice which was understandable and mostly catered to those with basic tastes, restaurant staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Outside restaurants and cafes are extremely cheap so eating out was not an issue and I found some great authentic food within walking distance of the hotel.

What makes Bella Vista special is the beach and small coral reefs, great for amateur snorkeling and spotting some beautiful sea life, I enjoyed my stay immensely

Just came back from here , the hotel is in a great location, bank and shops, and bars and restaurants just outside the front ,out back is a safe private beach ⛱️, with nice sand ,hotel has a big swimming pool with swim up bar ,fantastic and friendly staff, except the casher and our cleaner, they was the only bad side of the hotel. So if you go there, you will have a great time, just make sure that you get the cleaner to check the fridge, as when we checked out , they demand payment for coke from the fridge in our room, but it was my own coke I had brought from London, not there's, but the hotel casher insisted that the cleaner said it belongs to hotel, spoilt the end to a perfect holiday, so please make sure that you tell them if you put your own stuff in the fridge. Apart from that, I loved it and the staff.

My wife and I have stayed here 4 times. We use it as a base while we go scuba diving and just sleep and eat there. It is incredible value - we paid £37 per night for a double room all inclusive!

The hotel is clean and our room was spacious, comfortable and well maintained. The food is good for the price. However, we think that the quality has deteriorated since previous visits.

The hotel has attractive gardens with seating areas. Sun beds are in good condition but if you want one by the pool you will have get up by 7.30am to put your towel out.

However, the hotel is not without issues. There is one restaurant and it can be very noisy and crowded. One thing that annoyed us were the waiters trying to clear your table as soon as you clear your plate. On one occasion a waiter even tried to take our plates before we had finished eating off them! Also, if you get up to get another course by the time you get back they will have cleared your table.

We have always had a room which faced south but since our previous visit the HAN Restaurant next door has installed a powerful sound system just a couple of metres away and it blasted out music most evenings, sometimes as late as 1am. Sleeping was difficult. Also since our last visit they have changed the blackout curtains and they are not as good so we got woken by the sun by 5.30am.

The beer is OK but the spirits are disgusting and absolutely undrinkable.

We will probably not stay in this hotel again.

We have chosen Bella Vista Hotel for our couple vacation as it is located on the main street in an easy walking distance from shops, restaurants, Marina Hurghada and El Mina Mosque. At the same time it has small private beach and a swimming pool. As we were there in the winter time, on some days water in the sea felt too cold to swim and the heated pool was a good alternative.

Staff of the hotel was very welcoming and helpful. We have booked our holiday package on internet through the travel agency thus some details regarding our stay went unnoticed but the hotel staff quickly helped to find solution in every situation. Special thanks to Mohamed Z. from the reception, chef Ashraf and the animation team for their friendly and very warm attitude. We had lovely holiday experience!

The food was tasty with good choice of local vegetables. Variety of dishes for the dinner including pasta made right in front of you and exactly as you like it! Oriental sweets and pastries as well as other desserts were amazing!

There was some unexpected aspects, such as active selling of additional services even on the beach but it seems to be a part of the overall culture of 'selling' and 'tipping'. In general there was safe and pleasant atmosphere in the resort.

No particular nationality dominated among the guests. We noticed around 10 different nationalities in a week including local people from other regions of Egypt on holiday. And cat lovers of all ages would enjoy this place with friendly cats living in the territory of resort!

Well almost at the end of another fantastic 2 weeks at Bella vista resort Hurghada..... The hotel is perfectly situated on Sheraton Street so if you want to explore and eat and drink out you can it's very safe and there's loads of bars and restaurants to try and shops to buy all you holiday gifts.
The hotel itself is great, rooms are well equipped, hairdryer, shampoos, soap, aircon, safe, sewing kits, TV although could do with a couple more english channels.
Animation team are brilliant, Timo, Natalie and Kimo are fabulous they keep you entertained all day with various games, darts (yella yella) let's go, volleyball, boules, yoga and the water aerobics is ace..... BOMBA.... Dancing on the beach and round the pool. Also the evening shows they put on are amazing 👌
Mohammed, Waled and Sayed pool/bar staff are great they really look after you, cocktails are strong and beer is fine.
Food is great, lots of choice, loads of fresh fruit and veg and meats. EGYPTIAN night is the best food is amazing.
All the reception staff are great can't do enough for you.
Beach Boys are great, very helpful can't do enough to help. Resident camel on the beach is always entertaining 🤣🐫
Carribean bar is lovely for some different cocktails 🍹if you fancy a change.
The cleaning staff in the hotel are spot on always willing to help, an extra pillow ect or more toilet roll or water.
Free water in your room each day.
Would be 100 times better if the WiFi was better in reception or they had some music to listen to constantly round the pool or bar areas.
Other than than can't complain, it's fab, close to everything and staff are great. Would definitely recommend and we will be back 👌👍

I have been on a week of free diving in Hurghada.

I chose to stay at the three star hotel Bella Vista, because there is a diving center in the hotel area, Voodoo Divers.
I'm not so much for transfers to and from the dive boat.

The hotel is clean enough, the food (breakfast only) is good enough and there is good enough service.
The room was relatively large (even if we had been two).
I only chose breakfast, this because lunch is included in the dive excursion, and I am not a big eater in the evenings (some yogurt and bread / butter in the room).
As a "breakfast eater" you have 10% in the hotel restaurants.

Since I was out all day, (and therefore was slack like a cucumber lying in the sun,) I just took a quick dip at the beach. It's a beach and a bottom, point. (we divers are spoiled).
However, got the hint that under the jetty (the pier that the boat is at) there should be an OK reef.

In the immediate area max 6 min (if you RELAX your feet after you) there is Abu Ashara Supermarket, pharmacy, simcard vendors: Orange, Etisalat, Vodaphone.
There are cafes and restaurants etc.
The last day I discovered the Metro Market, they have a deli where you can buy grilled food.

Just returned from this hotel with my wife where we spent a week all inclusive. Overall this is a positive review. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, but slightly dated furniture. The all inclusive aspect was fair. Breakfast from 7 in the main restaurant and alcohol served from 11 in the pool bars. However, the Caribbean beach bar there is not included in the all inclusive. Drinks are mainly cheap versions of whisky, brandy, gin and vodka with lager on tap. Bring your own plastic cups as they give you drinks in small plastic cups which aren’t ideal.
Food somewhat repetitive but fine for a week.. salad option, pasta, meat and veg most days. Deserts are mainly small style cream cakes. The staff though are meticulously clean and you are fine to eat the salad and have ice in your drinks.
There are a few pesky hawkers trying to sell you boat trips and they descend rapidly on you on day one, but tend to back off when you’ve booked a trip. We recommend the orange bay resort and snorkelling trip for about 30 euros per person including lunch. The hotel has a lobby bar open most hours and in the evening drinks available from a bar near the beach area. Entertainment is fun and the small dedicated team do their best with both kids and adult activities including daily darts and boules, aqua fit and evening entertainment including quiz, karaoke and belly dancing night. The hotel has a decent pool with swim up bar or small private beach with roped off area for snorkelling. Staff are friendly and helpful but some better at English then others. Other tourists are mainly German, Polish or Eastern European. Not too many Russians. We got bitten at night by midges so take some deet or bite cream. We showered without sickness and room cleaned each day. We didn’t like venturing outside the hotel as you are instantly pestered by the locals. Cash machine inside hotel but standard Wi-Fi rubbish. Worth buying the paid option and purchasing the safe in the room for about £5 per day extra. Hotel 15 mins from airport.

Re-writing as too many characters. If you book here beware of the AI. It isn't what you would probably expect. Restaurant times are limited. Drinks are heavily restricted and you're entitled to 'one small' bottle of water per day.

Room was clean and spacious. Lower floor with no direct sun light it was baltic. The heater / zircon didn't work. Towels were thread bare. You could see through them. Very noisy at 8 a.m. onwards.

Waiters in buffet have obviously had no training or given up. Regularly had a mouthful of armpit shoved in my face while i was still eating, they were clearing the table and setting up for the next victims. Food was poor. So in the evening i paid to go to La Luna. The hotel italian, it was a vast improvement for quality of food, but the same armpit treatment was received from the waiter. Received the bill without asking for it, which might seem efficient, but hadn't even been offered the dessert menu.

Pool bar tender kept walking off to chat to his friends regardless of if there was a queue. Staff mostly wearing masks, but none of the patrons wear them in communal areas and didn't see anyone challenged. Words can not express how disappointed i was with this hotel for the 55 euros a night i was charged for the room on single occupancy.

To summarise the room was clean and spacious. Thats the end of the good points. I will post a picture of the 'ultra all inclusive' which i would consider a minimum for any all inclusive package. Here its just sustaining life!

We have just spent a week here and we were very disappointed with many aspects of this hotel. As you walk through the revolving doors you are met with a lovely spacious lounge with gleaming marble floors and comfy sofas and metal framed conservatory style chairs, the lounge is on two levels and has an air of France in the 1920's but for us the negatives outweighed all this. The medium sized pool is very cramped with sunbeds touching each other and like many hotels most are taken with towels and absent guests. The grounds are very small and the "beach" is full of sunbeds close together. The saving grace was the raised deck area which had plenty of space and was mainly empty but looking at the amount of sunbeds in reserve I wonder about high season. The bars shut at 11pm but by 10.30 on most nights start serving beer and wine in small paper cups, the staff told me they had to wash all the glasses before leaving so that was the reason but getting a third of a pint was very poor. The worst part of our stay was the building work, hammering and angle grinding till past midnight. One night at 12.15 I went to complain at reception but it continued every night. One night after tea they decided to dig up the flags from around the pool and again grinding and hammering till past midnight directly below the pool facing rooms. The food was plentiful if not 5 star but was ok for what we paid. The staff were all very nice and the service was good. At night there was no animation and drinking out of paper cups was a big let down. They left a birthday cake in our room along with a letter saying Happy Birthday for my wife which was a nice touch. I am glad we did not stay for 2 weeks and will not return

So the good bit/bits
•The staff are very friendly
•the hotel is kept clean and tidy

The not so good bits
•everything had a charge WiFi £17 per phone, per room, carribean bar all drinks and food costs with 10% discount for guests, same with luna the Italian restaurant.
Lose your key $4usd
•1 bar open all day, pool bar shuts wich is at the nightly entertainment area so pay in carribean or be prepared to walk
•accessibility is poor if you have mobility issues main building has no lifts all stairs 😕
•mini bar only water is free, soft drinks beer and juice all chargeable
•only 2 TV channels in English, everything else Russian and German
•everything is catered towards the Russian guests
•no waiter service at the pool, bar or restaurant, how are these guys supposed to earn when you won't let them get there tips this way ??

The bad bits
•the food is diabolical, breakfast is terrible, lunch at least has chicken n chips and some beef in some variety, tonight's dinner was liver pie 🤢🤢 not being funny but come on liver pie !!
•loud booming music usually from around 11pm until around 5am just absolutely fantastic
All in all we paid amd booked a supposed 4* hotel,it's definitely 2.5*-3* at the very best,if you have your heart set on hughada don't stay here find somewhere better
