Where to start??!! We were in Hurghada for 28 nights and booked to stay here for 2 nights. We booked a Deluxe room. When we checked in we were upgraded to a family room. This room had a bedroom with 2 beds, a main double bedroom, bathroom with walk in shower and small living area and a balcony. Ideal for a family. The room was spotlessly clean, plenty of towels and great quality linen and toiletries. We were very comfortable in the room but didn't need the extra room as just 2 of us! We we're all inclusive. The drink quality was excellent. Local spirits, wine and beer all very nice and very, very good cocktails! If I wanted to be super picky, I'd like the Creamy cocktails such as pina colada to be made with cream or ice cream to give more texture/ creaminess rather than coconut milk. I would also LOVE to be able to get Sparkling Wine by the glass! As I say, super picky!! Food...buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Such a fantastic selection of everything! I don't normally do breakfast but here it's not to be missed!! 3 chefs doing eggs, each with 6 hot plates so never more than 2 people waiting!! A donut wall. A donut wall!! A wall full of donuts!! Cheeses, salads, cereals, porridge, just think of something and it will have been there!! Lunch - grilled meats, salads, veggies, burgers, pizza.. Dinner - outside BBQ, our first night on the BBQ was QUAIL!!! Pasta Chefs, traditional Egyptian fayre, dessert to die for!! Service was super friendly and quick. Tables were cleared and cleaned promptly. Drink orders taken and delivered promptly with top ups just appearing!! There was also an opportunity to purchase menu items like bottles of wine (excellent quality Egyptian wine), imported spirits and liquore coffee's. If you stay for 5 nights you can eat at 1 of the a la carte restaurants for free, as we were only 2 nights we opted to pay 600le to eat in the rooftop restaurant. We had to think long and hard about this as the buffet was excellent and we'd eaten at a couple of excellent restaurants in Hurghada for less, but the menu sounded nice and the setting was lovely. We're glad we did, it was very nice and the service was great. There is a huge pool area at this hotel! 3 massive pools and a lazy river!! The hotel was full but we always managed to find sunbeds, the pool guys are so helpful and very friendly, moving beds, arranging towels etc. It was great to have pool bar service too!! Quick, prompt, regular!!! The pools were heated but not the lazy river!! There is also an adult only rooftop pool which was really nice and relaxing. It had a decent sized pool but it was only to cool off in, ankle depth! Again, the staff here were great!! There is an area called the Souk where the entertainment is held. It has a stage, a bar with drinks served in decent plastic glasses which we liked to see as the area is family/kids, snack bar, ice cream parlour, kids PlayStation area, kids arcade, shops, pharmacy, opticians etc. An excellent area for the evening and the entertainment was good too! We were really impressed with this area, it was different to anything we'd seen before. We enjoyed our 2 nights so much, we booked another 2 nights the following week!! We booked the same type of room and was again upgraded this time to a family suite! This had the same bathroom and a big lounge which had 2 beds which in this type of room could be used as sofas, a big double bedroom. It also had 2 balconies and an amazing pool view! Had we been a family, the 1st family room would have been better as it was 2 separate bedrooms, this suite you had to walk through the 'kids room' to get to the toilet. But the balcony was much bigger, so I suppose it depends on your requirements. The beach is great!! Its a walk across the street and once there you can get a golf buggy to the beach or walk 6 minutes through the gardens/ golf course. Again, the staff are super friendly helping with towels, beds, drinks etc. I can assure you the alcoholic cocktails are not alcohol free!! We don't get too involved with the animation teams but they were really good!! Decent music played and a good atmosphere. A la carte restaurant on the beach was good. Basic snack type food, pizza, chicken etc but very tasty. We enjoyed a bottle of fizzy in the sunshine and it was amazing!! The sea was warm, a little rocky to get in, shoes definitely needed. The beach would benefit from a sweep to make it look nice but it was one of the cleanest beaches we've been on, the clients, especially the smokers were very respectful. We've visited Egypt 20+ times and stayed at many hotels. This hotel is by far the best we've stayed at. We are already looking to book for longer next year. We cannot fault anything, the staff are friendly and efficient, cleanliness, gardens, beach, food & drinks, everything! Edit... the 1 and only thing I can complain about is the lack of power in the shower! Had we been staying longer I would have needed it addressed.…
