The resort is in a good location within a walking distance from old town. Double rooms are spacious with a great view and the employees are helpful and polite. Rooms are well equipped with shampoos, conditioners, lotions...etc. as well as kettle, tea, coffee and complimentary water bottles. The lagoon is very nice, much better than other places in Gouna. Breakfast buffet is nice with very good variety.
My only concern I felt there are no enough safety precautions. Staff weren't wearing masks properly, even at the restaurant, Sunbeds and tables weren't sanitized after use. Social distancing for tables was well maintained though and hand sanitizers were available in common areas. This made me feel a bit uncomfortable. In general it's a good place but with potential to be much better.

Booked room and brekkie only as i was here to kite and wouldnt use the full board option at all.
As a solo traveller I only needed a clean room with a bed and shower so opted for the Standard room and it was fine.
You have a spacious room with a small sofa and coffee table along with 2 queen beds and a small balcony.
Staff are extremely friendly throughout.
Breakfast is a buffet with some fruits, yoghurts and cereals, cold cuts, breads, cakes, boiled eggs, omelette and eggs cooked to order, fresh pancakes, faheer and lots of fresh pita bread.
The room was comfortable, the only minor annoyance was that they would play music from early in the morning until past midnight around the pool. With doors and windows closed in the lagoon facing rooms you cant hear it but hits of the 80s on a non stop loop tests most people.
Just outside the front gate of the hotel isan ATM that changes most major currencies to local pounds.
Downtown is a 3min stroll from the hotel.
If like me and others I met, you're just after a simple clean room with brekkie, then this really did the job. Not sure i could stay onsite here as an all inclusive deal as there are some great food options in town.
Note: the onsite shop is a rip off. Most things are 50-100% more expensive than the super market 5mins away in Downtown

We all love our winter sun but don’t expect it to be on a building site. The work to update the hotel is great but they should also try updating the older rooms as they look very well used and tired. And it seemed as a lone traveller I was shoved out the way in an old block. The food is very repetitive of chicken beef and fish with the same rice and potatoes for lunch and evening meal, the plus side is only seeing chips on 2 lunch menu’s. The main pool is cleaned every morning but didn’t see any cleaning of pools to the bungalows. There is a boat to a nearby private beach which is run hourly between 9am and 5pm and to swim in the Red Sea was a joy. The hotel will phone the local pharmacy if needed and they will drop off any medication needed. I would take as much mosquito repellant as you can carry or you’ll come home looking like you have chicken pox.. The on-site spa was closed so they have an outside group of men (V.I.P health and beauty spa) renting a space. STAY WELL AWAY from them as they are the biggest con men on the planet and prey on anyone who is weak or even drunk, While I was there they coerced a lady to have her hair coloured and charged her over 380 euros (over £400) to do this, They also kept taking a young Dutch teenager with Down syndrome off saying he needed a shave. They are very shady men that the hotel need to get rid of. The on-site shop is a little expensive but the owner Marcus is a great guy and will help you in any way and will even go to Egyptian shops to get you local things as I saw him do this for Dutch and Russian people. And if you have time for a chat he will make to a black tea and have a chat with you.

Didn't enjoy this hotel from the time we arrived. The staff are constantly asking for money and tips and trips and spas and nail bars and juices and both drives and safaris and camel and horse rides you just can't relax by the pool in the hotel one bit. Also cleanliness at the hotel is very low standard decor in the restaurant very old fashioned and the lobby bar is just a lobby the food is repetitive and very little taste to it and overall wouldn't bother with this holiday.

Visiting Panorama for the 3rd time, and even during Covid times they are doing their utmost best to make your stay the best possible. Some rooms need some renovation, like in our room there is no door in the shower. So the wooden door of the bathroom is completely damaged due to all the water. The hygiene is ok. The beds are very comfertable.
The food is good, there is always enough choice. Enough choice when ordering drinks and the barman is always willing to make something to your liking.
The animation team is, in comparison to two years ago, too large for this hotel. Most of them are friendly and enthusiastic (Shams, Rahma and Limbo) some very arrogant. Keep the best and let go of the others I would suggest.
Sohaila (such an amazing and sweet girl) comes every day for some feedback and when we tell her some improvements, the hotel takes immediate action like reopening the toilets near the pool.
The new General Manager is very kind and walks around every day to talk to guests and ask about their stay.
A special thanks to Ahmed Atef from the restaurant and Mohamad from the poolbar who serve us every day the best way possible.

We stayed in a lagoon bungalow for 8 nights and our room was very nice. Bathroom was clean and restocked everyday and the view from the veranda was beautiful. Was lovely to be able to step straight into the sea from our room. Cleaner was always on hand around the rooms to assist with anything we needed and water was provided for the rooms. Pool areas were clean and could find a sunbed even when we came to the pool later in the day. Beach area was lovely and quiet and selected food and drink included with all inclusive at the beach restaurant. Staff around the hotel were all very helpful and friendly, the only thing I would say is that it would be better if there was more drinks service around the pool. Food in the buffet restaurant was decent and varied and included meats, pasta, chips, rice, salads, breads, cakes etc. good selection that varied each day. There is an ATM just outside of the hotel which you can use to take money out. There is a small shop at the hotel where you can purchase snacks drinks and souvenirs. We also enjoyed massages at the spa, prices seem to be negotiable and very reasonable. (We paid £25 for 55 mins) I would recommend this hotel for a chilled break, high quality for the price. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of evening entertainment as there was only one half hour belly dancing show the whole time that we were there, although this may be different in season. I didn’t notice any building work going on as was mentioned in previous reviews. I would come back again. Thank you to all the lovely staff at Panorama Bungalows :-)

Lovely family stay, hospitality was great and the receptionist welcomed us with a big smile and been offered a welcome drink upon arrival.
Mr Hossam Ahmed from reservation/front office was amazing and super helpful, he offered us a family room with direct access to the private pool from the terrace which was fantastic, he always made sure we were happy during our stay and offered help whenever needed.
The room was spotless with a super speedy Wi-Fi, housekeeping came every day to clean and change towels & linen and add more toiletries.
The food at the restaurant was of a high quality and presentation was eye catching.
Kids enjoyed the pool and the pool foam party. We will definitely come back next summer and I highly recommend this hotel.

This was our 14th stay at this lovely hotel, which in itself says it all. It may not be the most luxurious or exclusive, but having stayed at several of the other far more 'prestigious' hotels in El Gouna, I can confidently say Panorama Bungalows is by far our favourite. What makes it our favourite is quite simply the staff and their customer care. Nothing is too much trouble. Guests are greeted and cared for like family. The check in process is simple and well organised. Any issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently, the hotel management team are approachable and always on hand for any queries. The housekeeping team work endlessly to ensure you have everything you need. Majority of the rooms have recently been refurbished and are beautiful. The team are constantly looking for ways to improve and enhance your experience. The pool area has been updated and there is a new restaurant. The food is plentiful and varied with attention to detail and special dietary requirements. The beach area still requires some improvement but I am confident this will soon be on the agenda. Hotel location is perfect, within 10 minutes stroll to Downtown area with all its shops bars and restaurants, and a short Tuc Tuc ride to the Marina. We are already booked to return shortly for our next visit. We can highly recommend this comfortable and friendly hotel.

Excellent location, walking to the sea 10-15 minutes, on the beach a long pier who leads to the corals. Walked along the El Gouna beach, I think there is better snorkeling in El Gouna. The boat from the hotel beach rides with an interval of one hour. All the staff is very kind and careful. Special thanks to the chefs, every day of 2 weeks new dishes, everything is very tasty. Fish, meat, excellent cakes. This place, like El Gouna as a whole, calm, so I recommend it to those who love a relaxing holiday. If you want sports - Kite Station is located on the hotel's beach, you can also can get the boat-trip to watch dolphins and fish to the sea. I wish hotel a bigger new chart music from the loudspeakers!

Please read as i feel there are two sides to the hotel.
Firstly is the bad bit. We booked what was listed as "pool view standard double room" the pictures of the rooms looked nice. The reality was and is somewhat different. When we arrived the first thing the reception staff said was "take a look at your room and if you want to change then we can 'uprade' you" So the first room we saw was terrible. Just very unclean, old looking. The shower was a bath with a shower head above it for example. Nothing close to what you'd expect for what was advertised as 4 star. We said that we were not happy about this room and so were shown a second which was slightly better and was out onto what they called a private pool (but was shared with 6 rooms). This still didn't meet the standard of what we thought we had booked and on top of that they wanted an extra £20 per person per night (you do the maths). Everyone we talked to went through this experience at the hotel. A family that turned up at the same time as us were marched round a total of 4 rooms (bare in mind we arrived at 11PM after a 5 hour flight so you can imagine how mentally draining this is). So it seems like you are being scammed. You are in a position where you can't do anything but accept a sub standard room or pay extra. This, along with how tired the rooms were, really let the place down. In the end, because it was late, we just went with the third room we were shown. The view was of a carpark, there was a hole in the wall, all the silicone in the shower area was dirty and breaking apart, the hair dryer didn't work, the shower glass was on the wrong side of the shower so you entered right where the shower was meaning after a shower you'd have to clean up all the water that had sprayed all over the bathroom floor, the wardrobe stank, the wall sockets were loose, etc etc you get the idea. I'll come onto the good bits now.
The good parts (which actually are the bits that mattered) were that the food was great, the eating area right next to the sea with the view was lovely, they have their own boat trips to their own section of an island all included for free which is very nice, its central to el gouna, the staff are generally very nice and helpful, the hotel has its own booth that offer 'excursions' that are all pre organised for you, the pool is nice, they change the bedding and towels daily.
Honestly its a shame to have to write the first bit. And its a shame that the hotels first impression is just so bad. I can't see many people turning up on day one and being pleased. Overall its actually good and like i say the important parts are there. If the place was overhauled somewhat and the management abandoned the approach of trying to get you to pay more for your stay it would be perfect.
Realistically next time i go el gouna (this was first time) i'd find somewhere else to stay. There must be other similar hotels with pools and all inclusive that are much nicer to stay in.
