Sultan bey is a great hotel... our room also had a beautiful balcony that overlooked the lake... Wifi is good all across the hotel and the rooms... The room service was within minutes when ever needed...

Professional and friendly staff , quiet place for relaxation... The shuttle boat to the beach is enjoyable and the weather is perfect...

...We were all inclusive and found the selection of food across all meals to be good however we did have a very selective dietary person with us which may have been an issue elsewhere but definitely not in this hotel.The chef/chefs knowing this cooked what he would eat when asked without any fuss even when they were incredibly busy and for that we are extremely grateful. Or a free taxiboot takes you (every hour)to their own managed bigger beach where you have free entry and free drinks and lunch if you booked All Inclusive... But what struck us most is the extremely friendly and helpful staff!... And you can see that when you notice how many returning guests are greeted during your stay...

It was nice to do some dine around with the vouchers, to see some other hotels for diner, we loved that option!...

...The hotel is situated on the lagoon with sun beds at the edge and steps down into the water,it also has a pool and a children’s pool which are ample for the size of the hotel.If you want a beach experience the complimentary shuttle boat which departs on the hour will take you to Keytouna beach and returns on the half hour this is also a lovely area with plenty of shade if required... If I had to be really picky it would be to have the lobby bar open in the summer not just in the winter for those who want to escape the heat of the day without having to return to their rooms...

There was also BBQ every day and a cute lady was making fresh sort of buns in an clay oven/pizza oven outside... Staff - just amazing, attentive, helpful, smiley - we have not seen anyone grumpy... In terms of facilities, there is nice swimming pool, there is access to the laguna and beach which is not huge but you can take hotel boat to Zaytuna Island if you prefer larger beach... On top of that, El Gouna felt very safe - there's friendly security everywhere around which is reassuring...

The shower however was the only thing that bothered us a little... The pool is quite small but perfect to cool off... You can also choose to swim in the lagoon since they have a small private beach...
