Jaz Dahabeya is situated directly on the sandy beach of the natural lagoon by the Red Sea resort of Dahab, just a one hour drive from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport and only two hours from Taba International Airport. You can reach Cairo in around six hours, driving through the beautiful mountains of Sinai. Away from it all and not as bustling or as yet commercial as some other Red Sea resorts, Jaz Dahabeya offers serenity in an unspoilt landscape with some of the best adrenalin fuelled watersports action and diving in the world. The scenery surrounding the hotel is breathtaking, looking over the lagoon to the mountains of Sinai and Saudi Arabia as a backdrop. The bay is one of the most sought after destinations for windsurfers keen for the ultimate challenge and many other attractions, such as the Mountain of Moses, St. Catherine Monastery and the Coloured Canyon are close to hand.

We have just returned from a 21 night stay at this wonderul hotel in Dahab. It is our 3rd visit to Dahab, but first to this hotel, which we chose partly because of its No 1 rating on Trip Advisor, and it didn't disappoint.
We found the hotel spotlessly clean. A great effort by all of the cleaning team, thank you all.
There was a massive choice of food to suit all tastes. The ingredients were high quality and were beautifully cooked and presented. There was a seperate snack bar for pizzas, sandwiches, salads etc. We were served by smiling waiters such as Samy and Mohammed Ali, and chefs were always on hand to explain unfamiliar dishes etc. The restaurants ran like clockwork.
The bar staff were just as excellent, and customer focussed. Thank you Ehab, Abdel and all you guys in the lobby bar and beach bar for your legendary Cocktails/mocktails and English tea.
We were in low season, the hotel was generally at very low occupancy, but despite this, there was entertainment every night.
The animators, Mona, Rania and Abdul were all wonderful.
Rooms were well equipped with large balconies and very comfortable beds.
Until the third week of our stay, the Pool was very cold, but the sea was warm, so this was not an issue, and there is easy access into it from a sandy beach.
There was one downside for us in particular, which was the Spa, as we are both big spa users. The Spa is independent of the hotel, but by it's association, it lets the hotel down in a big way. Its prices are extortionate. We were quoted £70 each for an hour massage, which for out of season Dahab is frankly ridiculous. £140 for a 2 person massage, which significantly exceeded the daily All Inclusive 2 person room rate!!!. To use the sauna would be £20 per person for an hour. Because of this, we looked elsewhere and insteadntook our massages a short distance along the beach. We booked 10 each, (20 in total) across our 21 night stay, at a far more realistic cost of £22 per person for an hour, which included a sauna, and hence this saved us around £1000 against using the spa which is attached to the hotel. The masseuse at the spa, unsurprisingly sat almost completely idle for 3 weeks. I have been in business all of my life and have seldom seen such a poor attitude to customers as expressed by the (independent) spa.
Back to the hotel though. First class throughout. The staff, without exception are a credit to the hotel. They are smart, courteous, professional, efficient and effective. Also, they all smile.
Also, very well done on a wider level, to The Jaz Group for it's environmental efforts.
All in all, a fantastic effort from all of the team.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jaz Dahabaya. The hotel is small for an Egyptian All Inclusive which means the pool, beach, restaurant etc are close by whichever room you stay in. Great care was taken by the staff to make sure that the communal areas were clean and well maintained making for a lovely stay.
We opted for a sea-view room and we were definitely not disappointed with spectacular views over the bay and mountains. The room was quite small and a little tired but our cleaner Mohammed Ibrahim made sure that it was very clean and well stocked.
The restaurant provided a variety of food and consering how busy it was at times, was run very efficiently. People who particularly stood out were Ouday who took the trouble to remember what drinks we liked and found us a table during busy periods. Gamal, one of the chefs was also very friendly and helpful, explaining some of the Egyptian foods to us.
The entrainment team worked hard to encourage people to join in but always in a non-pressurised way. Thanks Paula for for taking the time to chat to us and making us feel welcome
We chose this hotel mainly because we are scuba divers and wanted to stay somewhere with a dive centre on resort. Circle Divers are an excellent company to dive with. All of the staff are friendly and professional.
All in all, we had a great holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. A huge thank you to the staff for making our stay so special.

The town can be reached in around 10 minutes with the free hotel shuttle or a taxi. The chef at Jaz Dahabeya comes up with something new every day to make the food tasty and varied. The friendly and helpful event team motivates guests to exercise, have fun and be entertained with stretching, water aerobics, volleyball, darts, bocce or the daily changing evening program. The rooms are functionally maintained and equipped with everything you need for a vacation. The hotel manager personally looks after the well-being of the guests, ensures that the grounds and gardens are looked after and sees the 150 employees as a big family for whom the service and well-being of the guests is a matter of the heart. For us, half board was perfectly sufficient, as there was free water and even coffee and cake in the afternoon. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the hotel.

The resort is not too big thus enabling the guests to properly relax. There are two separate beaches, one is more "active" and the other is quiter thus allowing the guests to choose what fits them best. All staff is extremly friendly and welcoming. I read somewhere that entertainment was a bit too much. I did not experience this and quite to the opposite I found that the guys providing it were extremly sweet, gentle and polite, inviting you to enjoy the activities but without being annoying or insisting. Food is varied and of excellent quality. While the furniture in the rooms is somewhat oldish, the rooms are extremly clean and housekeeping staff always kind and helpful. Beds are comfy!
In the pool area at one point there was different music coming from three different places around the pool: the entertainment stand, the pool bar and the restaurant area. I found this was a bit too much.

Solid, very well-maintained hotel from an international chain. In November, a wonderfully quiet atmosphere, not overcrowded. Professional service and a warm welcome. The staff are very friendly, humorous, and multilingual. Communication in German is no problem. Feeling of security and being at home. Guests from different nations come together in the diverse, relaxed sports and leisure activities. As a windsurfer, you will find the best conditions here. The German-run station is very well equipped and is located directly on the hotel beach. A good starting point for the speed and wave surfing areas. Good advice. The diving school offers diving and snorkeling trips and rents out equipment. Very committed. Some of the famous spots are nearby and can also be reached individually by taxi, but there is also a lot to discover in the bay. In addition to an excursion into the desert, a sunset dinner in one of the fish restaurants (e.g. Shark) in the small tourist town of Dahab is definitely worth it.

The best hotel in Dahab!
The six stars are more than deserved! It couldn't be better!
We were given a very friendly welcome.
It is a small, very beautifully laid out complex.
The rooms are spread over 2 floors.
Everything seems very quiet and familiar, we almost felt like we were staying with friends.
The hotel is right on the very beautiful beach, which was very well maintained.
There are loads of loungers, there aren't that many vacationers in the hotel.
You could always find free loungers by the pool or on the beach.
Incredibly great, friendly and helpful service!
Our every wish was anticipated.
All the staff were very accommodating and friendly.
The service staff were terrific and spoiled us so much!!!
The food was very varied, fresh and well seasoned.
It always tasted very good. The salad bar was also great.
Lots of different dressings, large selection of dishes and dips. In the evening we had a barbecue outside.
Big praise to the head chef and his team!

Absolutely perfect accommodation. The staff are incredibly friendly and the place is filled with warmth. They are always eager to help whenever guests need assistance, and everyone greets you so warmly. And the food? Amazing. The meals were so satisfying. I used the all-inclusive option, and every meal was delicious and fulfilling. The accommodation is very clean, and with both a beach and a swimming pool, you can enjoy everything without leaving the hotel. There’s even a free shuttle to Dahab city, which made my trip even more convenient. If I ever visit Dahab again, I’ll definitely stay here. Having worked in the travel industry and visited many hotels, I’ve never been as impressed as I was with this one. I loved it so much that I even went to the hotel’s website to send a thank-you email. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

The hotel is wonderful and the view is 10/10. All the people working in the hotel are helpful and the entire animation team (Moataz - Haitham - Ibrahim - Nola - Basma) and the food is clean and fresh, especially the meat and pasta. The cleanliness of the rooms is above excellent and the rooms were always clean and nice. The swimming pool is nice and warm.

The hotel is the best place in dahab first when I wanted to doing reservation I calling with respect one When I arrived at the hotel, everyone cooperated with love, whether from the reception team or the guys transporting the guests to their rooms. When I entered the room, I found it very organized and clean. When I headed to the beach, the beach guys greeted me with love. By the way, the beach was one of the most beautiful beaches I had ever seen. When it was time for dinner, I went to the restaurant and the food was some of the most delicious and clean food I had ever eaten. In tourist resorts, let us not forget the great role of the entertainment youth in the hotel. Immediately after breakfast, the beautiful recreational activities begin, with many different and wonderful activities throughout the day and in the evening, the most beautiful shows begin, accompanied by laughter and fun. On the one hand, one of the best hotels I have stayed in so far in Egypt. Room, board, service all ok.
On the other hand, however, also typical shortcomings: Pretty noisy, especially almost everywhere any generators, vents etc. At the pool all day annoying and loud music (that's why I didn't use it). Luckily I didn't have a pool room if I hadn't endured. Also in this hotel the same experience as in all Egyptian hotels, if you travel alone. Never, ever turn your back on his restaurant table. Otherwise, it will be mercilessly cleared, whether you are already done or not. Very annoying, especially when it comes to food waste. I've tried all the tricks before, but even if the plate and the drink are untouched, if you're not careful, they're cleared. Even while you're eating, some waiters just reach across the table to take something away. The waiter's textbook, apparently valid throughout Egypt, should be rewritten, or the waiters are simply afraid of the boss to give the impression of doing nothing. It's very annoying, anyway. My previous record of 30 seconds before it was cleared was even significantly beaten in the Jaz. But then something got loud, and it got better. You noticed the better quality of the hotel.
But I refrained from dining outside. The risk of coming back to a tidy table when you've just picked up something from the buffet was too great for me. The waiters mean well, but with a little more attention and common sense it would be better.

The lobby is one flight above the restaurant and pool area. I did not see an elevator. Also, a question to ask the hotel: there are two steps from the ground floor where the swimming pool is to the dining room. I do not know if they have a ramp to place over these steps. That is a question for the hotel to answer. I did not see one. Another question is the shower in the rooms. There is a high step seperating the shower from the bathroom floor. Is there a wheelchair accessible shower? I do not know that answer to that either.
