the best thing in dolphin camp that i feel home, they treat me like friend not a guest, the place is good for backpackers and solo travelers. not all rooms are good, but it's OK for me compared to the price.

I arrived this place before the cheek time with 3 hours, so I supposed to ask reception to leave my bag and take a tour in "El-Mashraba" area that is an open market for every thing you need even medical help. I surprised with the warm welcome from the staff and redirect me to my room - thanks god -... More

I stayed at Dolphin Camp for 2 nights in April 2015 as a solo traveler. I was made to feel very welcome immediately on arrival by Hamdy. I was checked into my room a few hours early as I arrived by bus. My room was spotlessly clean, warm and very homely. I stayed in a dome room and it was... More

They have 3 types of rooms, rooms with A/C or without but separate bathroom and bungalows with shared bathroom. Back in 2009 till last year the hotel next door used to throw parties which was so noisy, but now as business in dahab is slow it is much quitter. BB is nice as you wake up and the breakfast is... AVOID - It's next door to the Trees night club. If you want to party all night, this this is an OK place to stay. But if you plan to do any sleeping, then AVOID. We stayed Dec 2012, and left after just one (sleepless) night. We found another bedouin camp which was half the price, friendly, busy, and where... More

We stayed here in a small bungalow with aircon. This was okay, beds also. No hot water. Could be a better place if they would add some more effort into it. Breakfast was included and served on the restsurant at the beach. It was egyptian and good.

Though other reviews have been positive and overall it's a decent place, the staff is not the most professional... One of the guys working there, which I won't name here, is extremely sleazy will spare no efforts to hump the female guests. Twice was a waken up by the sound of him sneaking into the room next door... Anyway, Dahab... More

Dolphin Camp is one of the few remaining traditional Dahab-style camps in the area. This is NOT a hotel, it is a collection of misfit, mismatched rooms for backpackers, bohemians and those traveling on a tight, tight budget. There are several different styles of rooms here, including thatched huts, basic rooms with fans and no A/C, as well as their... More
